Coordinated control strategy for hybrid energy storage primary frequency regulation based on improved VMD algorithm and fuzzy neural network

Facing the economic challenges of significant frequency regulation wear and tear on thermal power units and short energy storage lifespan in thermal-energy storage combined systems participating in grid primary frequency regulation(PFR),this paper proposes a novel hybrid energy storage system(HESS)control strategy based on Newton-Raphson optimization algorithm(NRBO)-VMD and a fuzzy neural network(FNN)for PFR.In the primary power allocation stage,the high inertia and slow response of thermal power units prevent them from promptly responding to the high-frequency components of PFR signals,leading to increased mechanical stress.To address the distinct response characteristics of thermal units and HESS,an NRBO-VMD based decomposition method for PFR signals is proposed,enabling a flexible system response to grid frequency deviations.Within the HESS,an adaptive coordinated control strategy and a State of Charge(SOC)self-recovery strategy are introduced.These strategies autonomously adjust the virtual inertia and droop coefficients based on the depth of frequency regulation and the real-time SOC.Furthermore,a FNN is constructed to perform secondary refinement of the internal power distribution within the HESS.Finally,simulations under various operational conditions demonstrate that the proposed strategy effectively mitigates frequent power adjustments of the thermal unit during PFR,adaptively achieves optimal power decomposition and distribution,maintains the flywheel energy storage’s SOC within an optimal range,and ensures the long-term stable operation of the HESS. 展开更多

Highly transparent,durable,and flexible liquid-repellent coatings are urgently needed in the realm of transparent materials,such as car windows,optical lenses,solar panels,and flexible screen materials.However,it has been difficult to strike a balance between the robustness and flexibility of coatings constructed by a single cross-linked network design.To overcome the conundrum,this innovative approach effectively combines two distinct cross-linked networks with unique functions,thus overcoming the challenge.Through a tightly interwoven structure comprised of added crosslinking sites,the coating achieves improved liquid repellency(WCA>100°,OSA<10°),increased durability(withstands 2,000 cycles of cotton wear),enhanced flexibility(endures 5,000 cycles of bending with a bending radius of 1 mm),and maintains high transparency(over 98%in the range of 410 nm to 760 nm).Additionally,the coating with remarkable adhesion can be applied to multiple substrates,enabling large-scale preparation and easy cycling coating,thus expanding its potential applications.The architecture of this fluoride-free dual cross-linked network not only advances liquid-repellent surfaces but also provides valuable insights for the development of eco-friendly materials in the future. 展开更多

Nanomaterials are extensively utilized in a multitude of sectors,but their propensity to aggregate can considerably diminish the efficacy of functional materials.A pivotal challenge in this domain is achieving a homogenous distribution of nanomaterials,which is essential for enhancing their performance while also reducing production costs.In this work,we achieve uniform and stable dispersion of various nano-materials through the confinement effect generated by the stereocomplex cross-linked network formed by the combination of poly(L-lactic)acid and poly(D-lactic)acid.The unique confinement effect of poly-lactic acid(PLA)isomers is universal and significantly enhances the dispersion of nanomaterials in both PLA solutions and films.To demonstrate the efficacy of our approach,we disperse aggregation-induced emission(AIE)molecules within PLA,which leads to the production of PLA films exhibiting improved fluorescence property.This work provides an effective solution for the preparation of nanocomposite ma-terials that are both high-performing and cost-efficient. 展开更多

Photocatalytic H_(2) evolution from wastewater exhibits fascinating prospects in environment and energy fields.Here,we propose a novel 3D cross-linked g-C_(3)N_(4) network(SCN)assembling with 1D nanowires.This network structure endows SCN with abundant carbon defects,creating a defect energy level and shallow charge trapping centres,which significantly prolongs the photocarrier lifetime,suppresses their recombination and facilitates the mass transfer process during the dye photodegradation.Consequently,in photocatalytic H_(2) evolution coupled with Rhodamine B(RhB)photodegradation under visible light,the H_(2) production rate of SCN is 283μmol h^(-1)g^(-1),accompanying by 97%RhB photodegradation efficiency,much higher than UCN's 31μmol h^(-1)g^(-1)and 64%.In particular,AQY of SCN for H_(2) evolution from RhB solution reaches 23.7%at 380 nm.Furthermore,the calculated transition states demonstrate that the N1 site connected to the defect in SCN has a minimum Gibbs free energy ΔG(H^(*)),indicating that H~+undergoes an H^(+)→H^(*)→H_(2) evolution process. 展开更多

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries have emerged as promising candidates in next-generation energy storage sys-tems.However,their practical implementation is significantly hindered by interfacial side reactions,par-ticularly the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)at the Zn metal anode interface.Herein,this study presents an innovative approach to address this challenge through the construction of an interfacial pref-erential coordination layer on the Zn anode surface.The proposed layer effectively terminates the conti-nuity of interfacial hydrogen-bond networks and blocks proton transport,thereby mitigating the HER.Specifically,2-phenylbenzimidazole-5-sulfonic acid(PBSA)with zincophilic groups was introduced as an electrolyte additive,which would be preferentially and selectively anchored on the Zn surface through its zincophilic nitrogen and sulfonic acid,forming the interfacial coordination layer.This coordination layer serves as a protective barrier,repelling water molecules from the Zn electrode surface and alleviat-ing water decomposition.Crucially,the interfacial coordination layer features stronger hydrogen-bonding interactions with interfacial water molecules,terminates the hydrogen-bonding network between water molecules,hinders the transportation and electro-reduction of proton,and ultimately inhibits HER at the interface.As a result,the Zn symmetric cell with PBSA/ZnSO_(4)delivered higher cycling stability of 2500 h at 1 mA cm^(-2)and Zn/NH_(4)V_(4)O_(10)full cells with PBSA/ZnSO_(4)possessed enhanced capac-ity retention.This interfacial hydrogen-bond regulation strategy provided valuable insight for designing HER-free interfacial protective layer in high-performance aqueous batteries. 展开更多

As an essential tool for quantitative analysis of lower limb coordination,optical motion capture systems with marker-based encoding still suffer from inefficiency,high costs,spatial constraints,and the requirement for multiple markers.While 3D pose estimation algorithms combined with ordinary cameras offer an alternative,their accuracy often deteriorates under significant body occlusion.To address the challenge of insufficient 3D pose estimation precision in occluded scenarios—which hinders the quantitative analysis of athletes’lower-limb coordination—this paper proposes a multimodal training framework integrating spatiotemporal dependency networks with text-semantic guidance.Compared to traditional optical motion capture systems,this work achieves low-cost,high-precision motion parameter acquisition through the following innovations:(1)spatiotemporal dependency attention module is designed to establish dynamic spatiotemporal correlation graphs via cross-frame joint semantic matching,effectively resolving the feature fragmentation issue in existing methods.(2)noise-suppressed multi-scale temporal module is proposed,leveraging KL divergence-based information gain analysis for progressive feature filtering in long-range dependencies,reducing errors by 1.91 mm compared to conventional temporal convolutions.(3)text-pose contrastive learning paradigm is introduced for the first time,where BERT-generated action descriptions align semantic-geometric features via the BERT encoder,significantly enhancing robustness under severe occlusion(50%joint invisibility).On the Human3.6M dataset,the proposed method achieves an MPJPE of 56.21 mm under Protocol 1,outperforming the state-of-the-art baseline MHFormer by 3.3%.Extensive ablation studies on Human3.6M demonstrate the individual contributions of the core modules:the spatiotemporal dependency module and noise-suppressed multi-scale temporal module reduce MPJPE by 0.30 and 0.34 mm,respectively,while the multimodal training strategy further decreases MPJPE by 0.6 mm through text-skeleton contrastive learning.Comparative experiments involving 16 athletes show that the sagittal plane coupling angle measurements of hip-ankle joints differ by less than 1.2°from those obtained via traditional optical systems(two one-sided t-tests,p<0.05),validating real-world reliability.This study provides an AI-powered analytical solution for competitive sports training,serving as a viable alternative to specialized equipment. 展开更多

To achieve smart and personalized medicine, the development of hydrogel dressings with sensing properties and biotherapeutic properties that can act as a sensor to monitor of human health in real-time while speeding up wound healing face great challenge. In the present study, a biocompatible dual-network composite hydrogel(DNCGel) sensor was obtained via a simple process. The dual network hydrogel is constructed by the interpenetration of a flexible network formed of poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA) physical cross-linked by repeated freeze-thawing and a rigid network of iron-chelated xanthan gum(XG) impregnated with Fe^(3+) interpenetration. The pure PVA/XG hydrogels were chelated with ferric ions by immersion to improve the gel strength(compressive modulus and tensile modulus can reach up to 0.62 MPa and0.079 MPa, respectively), conductivity(conductivity values ranging from 9 × 10^(-4) S/cm to 1 × 10^(-3)S/cm)and bacterial inhibition properties(up to 98.56%). Subsequently, the effects of the ratio of PVA and XG and the immersion time of Fe^(3+) on the hydrogels were investigated, and DNGel3 was given the most priority on a comprehensive consideration. It was demonstrated that the DNCGel exhibit good biocompatibility in vitro, effectively facilitate wound healing in vivo(up to 97.8% healing rate) under electrical stimulation, and monitors human movement in real time. This work provides a novel avenue to explore multifunctional intelligent hydrogels that hold great promise in biomedical fields such as smart wound dressings and flexible wearable sensors. 展开更多

The multi-agent system is the optimal solution to complex intelligent problems. In accordance with the game theory, the concept of loyalty is introduced to analyze the relationship between agents' individual income and global benefits and build the logical architecture of the multi-agent system. Besides, to verify the feasibility of the method, the cyclic neural network is optimized, the bi-directional coordination network is built as the training network for deep learning, and specific training scenes are simulated as the training background. After a certain number of training iterations, the model can learn simple strategies autonomously. Also,as the training time increases, the complexity of learning strategies rises gradually. Strategies such as obstacle avoidance, firepower distribution and collaborative cover are adopted to demonstrate the achievability of the model. The model is verified to be realizable by the examples of obstacle avoidance, fire distribution and cooperative cover. Under the same resource background, the model exhibits better convergence than other deep learning training networks, and it is not easy to fall into the local endless loop.Furthermore, the ability of the learning strategy is stronger than that of the training model based on rules, which is of great practical values. 展开更多

The appropriate fuze-warhead coordination method is important to improve the damage efficiency of air defense missiles against aircraft targets. In this paper, an adaptive fuze-warhead coordination method based on the Back Propagation Artificial Neural Network(BP-ANN) is proposed, which uses the parameters of missile-target intersection to adaptively calculate the initiation delay. The damage probabilities at different radial locations along the same shot line of a given intersection situation are calculated, so as to determine the optimal detonation position. On this basis, the BP-ANN model is used to describe the complex and highly nonlinear relationship between different intersection parameters and the corresponding optimal detonating point position. In the actual terminal engagement process, the fuze initiation delay is quickly determined by the constructed BP-ANN model combined with the missiletarget intersection parameters. The method is validated in the case of the single-shot damage probability evaluation. Comparing with other fuze-warhead coordination methods, the proposed method can produce higher single-shot damage probability under various intersection conditions, while the fuzewarhead coordination effect is less influenced by the location of the aim point. 展开更多

The self-healing solid polymer electrolytes(SHSPEs)can spontaneously eliminate mechanical damages or micro-cracks generated during the assembly or operation of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),significantly improving cycling performance and extending service life of LIBs.Here,we report a novel cross-linked network SHSPE(PDDP)containing hydrogen bonds and dynamic disulfide bonds with excellent self-healing properties and nonflammability.The combination of hydrogen bonding between urea groups and the metathesis reaction of dynamic disulfide bonds endows PDDP with rapid self-healing capacity at 28°C without external stimulation.Furthermore,the addition of 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide(EMIMTFSI)improves the ionic conductivity(1.13×10^(−4)S cm^(−1)at 28°C)and non-flammability of PDDP.The assembled Li/PDDP/LiFePO_(4)cell exhibits excellent cycling performance with a discharge capacity of 137 mA h g^(−1)after 300 cycles at 0.2 C.More importantly,the self-healed PDDP can recover almost the same ionic conductivity and cycling performance as the original PDDP. 展开更多

Gel polymer electrolytes(GPEs)effectively combine the advantages of high ionic conductivity and re-duce the risk of leakage associated with liquid.In this study,a chemically cross-linked gel polymer electrolyte was prepared by in-situ polymerization using polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)as a matrix and neopentyl glycol diacrylate(NPGDA)as cross-linking agent.The cross-linked structure of the GPE was preliminarily investigated,as well as the influence of the degree of cross-linking on its phys-ical properties.The GPE exhibited a superior conductivity of 1.391 mS cm^(-1) at 25℃.Herein,the Li|GPE|LiNi_(0.8) Co_(0.1) Mn_(0.1) O_(2) cell has an excellent capacity retention rate of 80.7%after 150 cycles at 0.5 C in addition to a high discharge specific capacity of 203 mAh g^(-1).The structure of the cathode ma-terial is shielded from the production of byproducts during the charging and discharging of lithium-ion batteries by the cross-linked PMMA GPE. 展开更多

This paper studies an interference coordination method by means of spectrum allocation in Long-Term Evolution (LTE) multi-cell scenario that comprises of macrocells and femtocells. The purpose is to maximize the total throughput of femtocells while ensuring the Signal-to-Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) of the edge macro mobile stations (mMSs) and the edge femtocell Mobile Stations (fMSs). A new spectrum allocation algorithm based on graph theory is proposed to reduce the interference. Firstly, the ratio of Resource Blocks (RBs) that mMSs occupy is obtained by genetic algorithm. Then, after considering the impact of the macro Base Stations (mBSs) and small scale fading to the fMS on different RBs, multi-interference graphs are established and the spectrum is allocated dynamically. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can meet the Quality of Service (QoS) requirements of the mMSs. It can strike a balance between the edge fMSs' throughput and the whole fMSs' throughput. 展开更多

Using the coupled coordination degree model,DEA coupled coordination efficiency model,and spatial autocorrelation model,this study explored the dynamic coupled coordination relationship and spatial correlation between the ice-snow tourism network attention and tourism industry development in 31 Chinese provinces and proposed suggestions pertaining to development.Our findings showed that(1)most provinces have not yet achieved excellent coordinated development between the two systems,and the coupled coordination efficiency is low.Each province's coupled coordination degree and coordination efficiency exhibited a small increase.(2)Spatial differences in the coupled coordination level and coordination efficiency of the two systems in each province were more evident.In seven provinces,including Heilongjiang,tourism industry development demonstrated a relatively high utilization rate and enhanced ice-snow tourism network attention.(3)The rankings of the coupled coordination degree and coordination efficiency of the two systems in each province remained relatively stable at the upper and lower ends,with large changes in the central provinces.The coupled coordination efficiency of Heilongjiang,Beijing,Jilin,and Shanghai remained at the top of the list steadily,whereas Xizang,Anhui,and Qinghai stayed at the bottom.In contrast,the ranking of the coupled coordination efficiency of Inner Mongolia,Henan,and Jiangsu displayed a great change.(4)The spatial correlation analysis revealed a positive correlation that decreased annually.Some provinces exhibited characteristics of spatial aggregation,with a high-high aggregation effect in Liaoning and Jilin,a low-low aggregation effect in Gansu and Qinghai,and no spatial aggregation effect in most other provinces. 展开更多

Conventional coordinated control strategies for DC bus voltage signal(DBS)in islanded DC microgrids(IDCMGs)struggle with coordinating multiple distributed generators(DGs)and cannot effectively incorporate state of charge(SOC)information of the energy storage system,thereby reducing the system flexibility.In this study,we propose an adaptive coordinated control strategy that employs a two-layer fuzzy neural network controller(FNNC)to adapt to varying operating conditions in an IDCMG with multiple PV and battery energy storage system(BESS)units.The first-layer FNNC generates optimal operating mode commands for each DG,thereby avoiding the requirement for complex operating modes based on SOC segmentation.An optimal switching sequence logic prioritizes the most appropriate units during mode transitions.The second-layer FNNC dynamically adjusts the droop power to overcome power distribution challenges among DG groups.This helps in preventing the PV power from exceeding the limits and mitigating the risk of BESS overcharging or over-discharging.The simulation results indicate that the proposed strategy enhances the coordinated operation of multi-DG IDCMGs,thereby ensuring the efficient and safe utilization of PV and BESS. 展开更多

To analyze and control complex networks effectively, this paper puts forward a new kind of scheme, which takes control separately in each area and can achieve the network’s coordinated optimality. The proposed algorithm is made up of two parts: the first part decomposes the network into several independent areas based on community structure and decouples the information flow and control power among areas; the second part selects the center nodes from each area with the help of the control centrality index. As long as the status of center nodes is kept on a satisfactory level in each area, the whole system is under effective control. Finally, the algorithm is applied to power grids, and the simulations prove its effectiveness. 展开更多

The cloud radio access network(C-RAN) has recently been proposed as an important component of the next generation wireless networks providing opportunities for improving both spectral and energy effi ciencies. The performance of this network structure is however constrained by severe inter-cell interference due to the limited capacity of fronthaul between the radio remote heads(RRH) and the base band unit(BBU) pool. To achieve performance improvement taking full advantage of centralized processing capabilities of C-RANs,a set of RRHs can jointly transmit data to the same UE for improved spectral effi ciency. In this paper,a user centralized joint coordinated transmission(UC-JCT) scheme is put forth to investigate the downlink performance of C-RANs. The most important benefit the proposed strategy is the ability to translate what would have been the most dominant interfering sources to usable signal leading to a signifi cantly improved performance. Stochastic geometry is utilized to model the randomness of RRH location and provides a reliable performance analysis. We derive an analytical expression for the closed integral form of the coverage probability of a typical UE. Simulation results confirm the accuracy of our analysis and demonstrate that significant performance gain can be achieved from the proposed coordination schemes. 展开更多
