The converted Doppler measurements, constructed by the product of the Doppler measurements and range measurements, are used to replace the original Doppler measurements. A de-noising method based on an unbiased Kalman filter (KF) is proposed to reduce the converted Doppler measurement errors before updating the target states for the constant velocity (CV) model. The states from the de-noising filter are then combined with the Cartesian states from the converted measurement Kalman filter (CMKF) to produce final state estimates. The nonlinearity of the de-noising filter states are handled by expanding them around the Cartesian states from the CMKF in a Taylor series up to the second order term. In the mean time, the correlation between the two filters caused by the common range measurements is handled by a mini- mum mean squared error (MMSE) estimation-based method. These result in a new tracking filter, CMDN-EKF2. Monte Carlo simulations demonstrate that the proposed tracking filter can provide efficient and robust performance with a modest computa- tional cost.展开更多

These are the C-wave stacking velocity Vc2 , the vertical and effective velocity ratios γ0 and γeff, and the anisotropic parameter χeff. We refer to the four parameters as the C-wave stacking velocity model. The purpose of C-wave velocity analysis is to determine this stacking velocity model. The C-wave stacking velocity model Vc2, γ0, γeff, and χeff can be determined from P-and C-wave reflection moveout data. However, error propagation is a severe problem in C-wave reflection-moveout inversion. The current short-spread stacking velocity as deduced from hyperbolic moveout does not provide sufficient accuracy to yield meaningful inverted values for the anisotropic parameters. The non-hyperbolic moveout over intermediate-offsets (x/z from 1.0 to 1.5) is no longer negligible and can be quantified using a background γ. Non-hyperbolic analysis with a γ correction over the intermediate offsets can yield Vc2 with errors less than 1% for noise free data. The procedure is very robust, allowing initial guesses of γ with up to 20% errors. It is also applicable for vertically inhomogeneous anisotropic media. This improved accuracy makes it possible to estimate anisotropic parameters using 4C seismic data. Two practical work flows are presented for this purpose: the double-scanning flow and the single-scanning flow. Applications to synthetic and real data show that the two flows yield results with similar accuracy but the single-scanning flow is more efficient than the double-scanning flow.展开更多

At each processing index, the new algorithm chooses the more accurate of (1) the sensor’s polar position measurement and (2) the CMKF’s Cartesian position prediction. The new algorithm then computes the raw converted measurement’s error bias and the corresponding debiased converted measurement’s error covariance conditioned on the chosen position estimate. The paper derives explicit expressions for the polar-measurement-conditioned bias and covariance and shows the resulting polar-measurement-conditioned CMKF’s mathematical equivalence with the 2-D modified unbiased CMKF (MUCMKF). The paper also describes a method, based upon the unscented transformation, for approximating the raw converted measurement’s error bias and the debiased converted measurement’s error covariance conditioned on the CMKF’s Cartesian position prediction. Simulation results demonstrate the new CMKF’s improved tracking performance and statistical credibility as compared to those of the 2-D MUCMKF.展开更多

This gives rise to serious non-hyperbolic moveout effects in the converted-wave data due to both the asymmetrical ray path and anisotropic effects. Conventional velocity analysis and moveout correction based on isotropic methods do not flatten reflections events. Here, we use a four-parameter theory to evaluate these effects and process the data. These four parameters include the PS converted wave stacking velocity (Vc2), the vertical velocity ratio (Y0), the effective velocity ratio (Yeff), and the anisotropy parameter (xoff), The method utilizes the moveout information at different offsets to estimate the different parameters and ensures that the events are properly aligned for stacking, As a result, this four-parameter theory leads to an improvement in imaging quality and correlation between the P-waves and converted-waves.展开更多

Even though this original algorithm yields better tracking performance than the debiased-CMKF algorithm which evaluates the average true bias and covariance exclusively with the polar measurement, this paper shows the specified requirement compromises the statistical consistency between the debiased converted measurement’s error and the average true covariance. To resolve this apparent contradiction, this paper provides the correct empirical explanation for the tracking-performance improvement obtained by the specified requirement.展开更多

In some cases, converting existing AC transmission lines to DC lines can Improve the transmission capacity and reduce the construction investment. In this paper, the upstream finite element method was expanded to calculate the total electric field of same tower multi-circuit DC lines converted from double-circuit AC lines, and the validity of the algorithm was confirmed by experiments. Taking a DC line converted from a typical same tower 500 kV double-circuit AC transmission line as an example, the surface electric field and the ground total electric field in different pole conductor arrangement schemes were calculated and analyzed, and the critical height of pole conductors for DC lines in residential and non-residential area were determined. Then, the corridor width of DC and AC lines at critical height in residential and non-residential areas before and after AC-DC line transformation were compared. The results indicate that for DC lines converted from common 500 kV double-circuit AC lines, the ground total electric field can meet the requirements of corresponding standard with appropriate pole conductor arrangement schemes.展开更多

Many researchers have identified these faults as potential strong-earthquake risk zones. In this study, we leveraged a dense seismic array to investigate the high-resolution shallow crust shear wave velocity(Vs) structure beneath the junction of the Zemuhe Fault Zone and the Xiaojiang Fault Zone, one of the most complex parts of the eastern boundary of the South Chuan–Dian Block. We analyzed the distribution of microseismic events detected between November 2022 and February 2023 based on the fine-scale Vs model obtained. The microseismicity in the study region was clustered into three groups, all spatially related to major faults in this region. These microseismic events indicate near-vertical fault planes, consistent with the fault geometry revealed by other researchers. Moreover, these microseismic events are influenced by the impoundment of the downstream Baihetan Reservoir and the complex tectonic stress near the junction of the Zemuhe Fault Zone and the Xiaojiang Fault Zone. The depths of these microseismic events are shallower in the junction zone, whereas moving south along the Xiaojiang Fault Zone, the microseismic events become deeper.Additionally, we compared our fine-scale local Vs model with velocity models obtained by other researchers and found that our model offers greater detail in characterizing subsurface heterogeneity while demonstrating improved reliability in delineating fault systems.展开更多

文摘In transversely isotropic media with a vertical symmetry axis (VTI), the converted-wave (C-wave) moveout over intermediate-to-far offsets is determined by four parameters. Applications to synthetic and real data show that the two flows yield results with similar accuracy but the single-scanning flow is more efficient than the double-scanning flow.
文摘This paper describes a new algorithm for the 2-D converted-measurement Kalman filter (CMKF) which estimates a target’s Cartesian state given polar position measurements. Simulation results demonstrate the new CMKF’s improved tracking performance and statistical credibility as compared to those of the 2-D MUCMKF.
文摘3-D converted-wave data were acquired using digital MEMS (micro-electromechanical system) three component (3C) sensors in the alternating sand and shale sequence in the overburden of the Shengli Ken-71 area. These four parameters include the PS converted wave stacking velocity (Vc2), the vertical velocity ratio (Y0), the effective velocity ratio (Yeff), and the anisotropy parameter (xoff), The method utilizes the moveout information at different offsets to estimate the different parameters and ensures that the events are properly aligned for stacking, As a result, this four-parameter theory leads to an improvement in imaging quality and correlation between the P-waves and converted-waves.

文摘Lead is a ubiquitous pollutant and Pb pollution is a global public health problem.Lead has been reported to induce multiple adverse effects, including reproductive toxicity, neurotoxicity, carcinogenicity, nephrotoxicity, immunotoxicity, and hypertension[1].The traditional medical treatment available for Pb poisoning is chelation, which can save lives in individuals with very high blood Pb levels. The commonly used chelating agents include CaNa2EDTA and meso-2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid. However, chelation therapy has strong short-term effects on the overall long-term management of Pb exposure.
文摘The original algorithm for the 2-D debiased converted-measurement Kalman filter (CMKF) specified, with incorrect mathematical justification, a requirement for evaluating the average true bias and covari-ance with the best available polar estimate, rather than exclusively with the polar measurement. To resolve this apparent contradiction, this paper provides the correct empirical explanation for the tracking-performance improvement obtained by the specified requirement.
文摘With rapid growth of power demand, transmission capacity is also in urgent need of upgrading. The results indicate that for DC lines converted from common 500 kV double-circuit AC lines, the ground total electric field can meet the requirements of corresponding standard with appropriate pole conductor arrangement schemes.

文摘The present paper develops an approach of relative orbit determination for satellite formation flight.Inter-satellite measurements by the onboard devices of the satellite were chosen to perform this relative navigation, and the equations of relative motion expressed in the Earth Centered Inertial frame were used to eliminate the assumption of the circular reference orbit. The relative orbit estimation was achieved through a continuous-discrete converted measurement Kalman filter design,in which the measurements were transformed to the inertial frame to avoid the linearization error of the observation equation. In addition, the situation of the coarse measurement period(only microwave radar measurements are available)existing was analyzed. The numerical simulation results verify the validity of the navigation approach, and it has been proved that this approach can be applied to the formation with an elliptical reference orbit.

文摘The Anninghe–Zemuhe Fault and the Xiaojiang Fault are critical active faults along the middle-eastern boundary of the South Chuan–Dian Block. The depths of these microseismic events are shallower in the junction zone, whereas moving south along the Xiaojiang Fault Zone, the microseismic events become deeper.Additionally, we compared our fine-scale local Vs model with velocity models obtained by other researchers and found that our model offers greater detail in characterizing subsurface heterogeneity while demonstrating improved reliability in delineating fault systems.

文摘With the depletion of fossil fuels and increasing environmental concerns, the development of renewable energy, such as wave energy, has become a critical component of global energy strategies. However, challenges persist in the field testing methodologies for wave energy converters(WECs).In this paper,a numerical wave field of the Dawanshan Island Sea Area in Zhuhai City is constructed based on the MIKE21 SW wave model and by using an NCEP wind field driving model. In conjunction with the IEC-62600-100 standard,by taking site testing of the“Wanshan”wave energy converter on which a sea trial has been conducted in Dawanshan Island of Zhuhai city as an example, research on-site testing method for a wave energy converter has been carried out.The wave measurement position for the“Wanshan”converter was determined by combining statistically analyzed field data with a validated numerical wave model.By comparing a valid wave height at the position where a wave rider is located with a valid wave height at the position where the“Wanshan”wave energy converter is situated, the correlation coefficient between simulation and observed data reached 0.90,with a root-mean-square error of 0.19.The representativeness of wave measurement data during site testing is verified and can be used as a basis for calculating the input energy of the“Wanshan”wave energy converter.

文摘This paper presents a new type of triangular Sharp Eagle wave energy converter(WEC)platform. On the basis of the linear potential flow theory and the finite element analysis method, the hydrodynamic performance and structural response of the platform are studied, considering the actual platform motion and free surface rise under extreme sea states.First, the effects of the wave frequency and direction on the wave-induced loads and dynamic responses were examined. The motion at a wave direction angle of 0°is relatively low.On this basis, the angle constrained by the two sides of the Sharp Eagle floaters should be aligned with the main wave direction to avoid significant platform motion under extreme sea states.Additionally, the structural response of the platform, including the wave-absorbing floaters,is investigated. The results highlighted that the conditions or locations where yielding, buckling, and fatigue failures occur were different. In this context, the connection area of the Sharp Eagle floaters and platform is prone to yielding failure under oblique wave action, whereas the pontoon and side of the Sharp Eagle floaters are prone to buckling failure during significant vertical motion.Additionally, fatigue damage is most likely to occur at the connection between the middle column on both sides of the Sharp Eagle floaters and the pontoons. The findings of this paper revealed an intrinsic connection between wave-induced loads and the dynamic and structural responses of the platform, which provides a useful reference for the improved design of WECs.
