文摘A mobile marine seismometer(MMS)is a vertical underwater vehicle that detects ocean seismic waves. One of the critical operational requirements for an MMS is that it remains suspended at a desired depth. This article aimed to propose a fixed-depth suspension control for the MMS with a limited onboard energy supply. The research team established a kinematic model to analyze fluctuations in the vertical motion of the MMS and the delayed response of the system. We ascertained a direct one-to-one correlation between the displacement volume of the mobile ocean seismic instrument and the depth at which it reaches a state of neutral buoyancy(commonly referred to as the hover depth).A fixed-depth control algorithm was introduced, allowing a gradual approach to the necessary displacement volume to reach the desired suspension depth. The study optimized the boundary conditions to reduce unnecessary adjustments and mitigate the time delay caused by the instrument’s inertia, thereby significantly minimizing energy consumption. This method does not require calculating the hydrodynamic parameters or transfer functions of the MMS,thereby considerably reducing the implementation complexity. In the three-month sea trial in the South China Sea,the seismic instrument was set to hover at 800 m,with a permissible fluctuation of±100 m,operating on a seven-day cycle. The experimental results show that the seismic instrument has an average hover error of 34.6 m,with a vertical drift depth of 29.6 m per cycle, and the buoyancy adjustment system made six adjustments, indicating that our proposed control method performs satisfactorily. In addition, this method provides new insights for the fixed-depth control of other ocean observation devices that rely on buoyancy adjustment.

文摘To overcome the challenges associated with predicting gas extraction performance and mitigating the gradual decline in extraction volume, which adversely impacts gas utilization efficiency in mines,a gas extraction pure volume prediction model was developed using Support Vector Regression(SVR)and Random Forest(RF),with hyperparameters fine-tuned via the Genetic Algorithm(GA).Building upon this,an adaptive control model for gas extraction negative pressure was formulated to maximize the extracted gas volume within the pipeline network, followed by field validation experiments.Experimental results indicate that the GA-SVR model surpasses comparable models in terms of mean absolute error, root mean square error, and mean absolute percentage error. In the extraction process of bedding boreholes, the influence of negative pressure on gas extraction concentration diminishes over time, yet it remains a critical factor in determining the extracted pure volume. In contrast, throughout the entire extraction period of cross-layer boreholes, both extracted pure volume and concentration exhibit pronounced sensitivity to fluctuations in extraction negative pressure.Field experiments demonstrated that the adaptive controlmodel enhanced the average extracted gas volume by 5.08% in the experimental borehole group compared to the control group during the later extraction stage, with a more pronounced increase of 7.15% in the first 15 days. The research findings offer essential technical support for the efficient utilization and long-term sustainable development of mine gas resources. The research findings offer essential technical support for gas disaster mitigation and the sustained, efficient utilization of mine gas.

文摘A switched reluctance machine (SRM) drive is a time-varying, strongly nonlinear system. High performance control can no longer be achieved by using linear techniques. This paper describes the back-propagation (BP) neural network-based proportional-integral-derivative (PID) speed control of the SRM. It's the interest of this paper to explore the utilization of the prior empirical knowledge as guidance in the initializing and training of the neural networks. The purpose is to make the networks less sensitive on the initial weights. Two modified algorithms are presented and simulation experiments show some interesting findings about their control effects and their corresponding sensitivity on the initial weights of the networks.

文摘Unmanned aircraft are highly vulnerable to crosswind-induced turbulence during complex maneuvers such as turning, which can significantly compromise control and reduce autopilot effectiveness. This paper presents a novel control strategy to improve the controllability of unmanned aircraft in challenging wind conditions.First, the equations of motion for the aircraft are reformulated as a system of stochastic differential equations, which are subsequently transformed into a deterministic form.By modeling turbulence as a Gaussian random process and incorporating it directly into the control system, the proposed method proactively compensates for the adverse effects of turbulence. The transformation is achieved using semi-invariant techniques.Second, the control problem is formulated as an optimization task, aiming to minimize the deviation between the actual and desired turn characteristics, specifically the angular velocity. Finally,a new numerical method with proven global convergence is employed to compute the optimal autopilot parameters.Simulation results using a medium-range unmanned aircraft model under continuous turbulent gusts demonstrate that the proposed method significantly outperforms existing approaches, ensuring both stability and precision in turbulent wind conditions.

文摘The safe driving and operation of trains is a necessary condition for ensuring the safe operation of trains. In particular,heavy-haul trains are characterized by the difficulty in driving and operation.Considering the uncertainties in train driving and operation, this paper analyzes the relationship between the safety of heavy-haul electric locomotive hauled trains and driving and operation. It studies the auxiliary intelligent driving safety operation control methods.Through K-means to identify the characteristics of drivers'driving manipulation, the hidden Markov model adaptively adjusts the train driving and operation sequence, and conducts auxiliary driving reconstruction for heavy-haul locomotive driving and operation.Based on the train running curve and the locomotive traction/braking characteristics,it smoothly controls the exertion of the traction/braking force of heavy-haul locomotives, thereby optimizing the driving safety control of heavy-haul trains in the vehicle-environment-track system. Finally, the train operation simulation and optimized driving verification are carried out by simulating some track sections. The results show that the proposed method can correct and pre-optimize driving operations, improving the smoothness of heavy-haul trains by approximately 10%.It verifies the effectiveness of the proposed train assisted driving control reconstruction method, facilitating the smooth and safe operation of heavy-haul trains.

文摘Trajectory tracking for nonlinear robotic systems remains a fundamental yet challenging problem in control engineering, particularly when both precision and efficiency must be ensured.Conventional control methods are often effective for stabilization but may not directly optimize long-term performance. To address this limitation, this study develops an integrated framework that combines optimal control principles with reinforcement learning for a single-link robotic manipulator. The proposed scheme adopts an actor–critic structure, where the critic network approximates the value function associated with the Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman equation, and the actor network generates near-optimal control signals in real time. This dual adaptation enables the controller to refine its policy online without explicit system knowledge.Stability of the closed-loop system is analyzed through Lyapunov theory, ensuring boundedness of the tracking error.Numerical simulations on the single-link manipulator demonstrate that themethod achieves accurate trajectory followingwhile maintaining lowcontrol effort. The results further showthat the actor–critic learning mechanism accelerates convergence of the control policy compared with conventional optimization-based strategies. This work highlights the potential of reinforcement learning integrated with optimal control for robotic manipulators and provides a foundation for future extensions to more complex multi-degree-of-freedom systems. The proposed controller is further validated in a physics-based virtual Gazebo environment, demonstrating stable adaptation and real-time feasibility.

文摘In order to improve the efficiency of traffic signal control for an over-saturated intersection group, a nondominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅱ(NSGA-Ⅱ) based traffic signal control optimization algorithm is proposed. The throughput maximum and average queue ratio minimum for the critical route of the intersection group are selected as the optimization objectives of the traffic signal control for the over-saturated condition. The consequences of the efficiency between traffic signal timing plans generated by the proposed algorithm and a commonly utilized signal timing optimization software Synchro are compared in a VISSIM signal control application programming interfaces (SCAPI) simulation environment by using real filed observed traffic data. The simulation results indicate that the signal timing plan generated by the proposed algorithm is more efficient in managing oversaturated flows at intersection groups, and, thus, it has the capability of optimizing signal timing under the over-saturated conditions.

The new adaptive genetic algorithm(AGA) is built for inducing suitable search and optimization relationship. The use of six fuzzy logic controllers(6FLCs) is proposed for dynamic control genetic operating parameters of a symbolic-coded GA. This paper uses AGA based on 6FLCs to deal with the travelling salesman problem (TSP). Experimental results show that AGA based on 6FLCs is more efficient than a standard GA in solving combinatorial optimization problems similar to TSP.
