Integral reinforcement learning(IRL)is an effective tool for solving optimal control problems of nonlinear systems,and it has been widely utilized in optimal controller design for solving discrete-time nonlinearity.Ho...Integral reinforcement learning(IRL)is an effective tool for solving optimal control problems of nonlinear systems,and it has been widely utilized in optimal controller design for solving discrete-time nonlinearity.However,solving the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman(HJB)equations for nonlinear systems requires precise and complicated dynamics.Moreover,the research and application of IRL in continuous-time(CT)systems must be further improved.To develop the IRL of a CT nonlinear system,a data-based adaptive neural dynamic programming(ANDP)method is proposed to investigate the optimal control problem of uncertain CT multi-input systems such that the knowledge of the dynamics in the HJB equation is unnecessary.First,the multi-input model is approximated using a neural network(NN),which can be utilized to design an integral reinforcement signal.Subsequently,two criterion networks and one action network are constructed based on the integral reinforcement signal.A nonzero-sum Nash equilibrium can be reached by learning the optimal strategies of the multi-input model.In this scheme,the NN weights are constantly updated using an adaptive algorithm.The weight convergence and the system stability are analyzed in detail.The optimal control problem of a multi-input nonlinear CT system is effectively solved using the ANDP scheme,and the results are verified by a simulation study.展开更多
The vehicle-road coupling dynamics problem is a prominent issue in transportation,drawing significant attention in recent years.These dynamic equations are characterized by high-dimensionality,coupling,and time-varyin...The vehicle-road coupling dynamics problem is a prominent issue in transportation,drawing significant attention in recent years.These dynamic equations are characterized by high-dimensionality,coupling,and time-varying dynamics,making the exact solutions challenging to obtain.As a result,numerical integration methods are typically employed.However,conventional methods often suffer from low computational efficiency.To address this,this paper explores the application of the parameter freezing precise exponential integrator to vehicle-road coupling models.The model accounts for road roughness irregularities,incorporating all terms unrelated to the linear part into the algorithm's inhomogeneous vector.The general construction process of the algorithm is detailed.The validity of numerical results is verified through approximate analytical solutions(AASs),and the advantages of this method over traditional numerical integration methods are demonstrated.Multiple parameter freezing precise exponential integrator schemes are constructed based on the Runge-Kutta framework,with the fourth-order four-stage scheme identified as the optimal one.The study indicates that this method can quickly and accurately capture the dynamic system's vibration response,offering a new,efficient approach for numerical studies of high-dimensional vehicle-road coupling systems.展开更多

Flexible electronics face critical challenges in achieving monolithic three-dimensional(3D)integration,including material compatibility,structural stability,and scalable fabrication methods.Inspired by the tactile sen...Flexible electronics face critical challenges in achieving monolithic three-dimensional(3D)integration,including material compatibility,structural stability,and scalable fabrication methods.Inspired by the tactile sensing mechanism of the human skin,we have developed a flexible monolithic 3D-integrated tactile sensing system based on a holey MXene paste,where each vertical one-body unit simultaneously functions as a microsupercapacitor and pressure sensor.The in-plane mesopores of MXene significantly improve ion accessibility,mitigate the self-stacking of nanosheets,and allow the holey MXene to multifunctionally act as a sensing material,an active electrode,and a conductive interconnect,thus drastically reducing the interface mismatch and enhancing the mechanical robustness.Furthermore,we fabricate a large-scale device using a blade-coating and stamping method,which demonstrates excellent mechanical flexibility,low-power consumption,rapid response,and stable long-term operation.As a proof-of-concept application,we integrate our sensing array into a smart access control system,leveraging deep learning to accurately identify users based on their unique pressing behaviors.This study provides a promising approach for designing highly integrated,intelligent,and flexible electronic systems for advanced human-computer interactions and personalized electronics.展开更多

Using linear modulating filters, we can obtain an identification model that is parameterized directly in continuous-time model parameters. By applying the results from discrete-time model identification to the obtained identification model, a continuous-time estimation method is developed. Considering the accuracy of parameter estimates, an instrumental variable (Ⅳ) method is proposed, and the design of modulating integral filter is discussed. The relationship between the accuracy of identification and the parameter of modulating filter is investigated, and some points about designing Gaussian wavelet modulating function are outlined. The proposed method, based on a structural condition related to the uncontrollable eigenvalues of the error system, can be applied to a wide class of continuous-time chaotic (hyperchaotic) systems and represents a general framework that includes any type of synchronization defined to date. An example involving a hyperchaotic oscillator is reported, with the aim of showing how a response system attractor is arbitrarily shaped using a scalar synchronizing signal only. The jump mechanism in our article is different from that of Liu et al [4]. Comparing with [4], the introduction of the investment, and hence, the additional Brownian motion term, makes the problem technically challenging. To overcome this technical difficulty, the theory of change of measure is used and an exponential martingale is obtained by virtue of the extended generator. The ruin probability is minimized through maximizing adjustment coefficient in the sense of Lundberg bounds. At the same time, the optimal investment strategy is obtained.展开更多

Although auxin is known to induce ethylene biosynthesis in some Rosaceae fruit crops,the mechanisms underlying the auxin–ethylene interaction during fruit ripening remain largely unknown.Here,the regulatory role of a...Although auxin is known to induce ethylene biosynthesis in some Rosaceae fruit crops,the mechanisms underlying the auxin–ethylene interaction during fruit ripening remain largely unknown.Here,the regulatory role of an auxin response factor,PpARF6,in fruit ripening was investigated in peach.Peach fruits showed accelerated ripening after treatment with auxin and PpARF6 was found to be significantly induced.PpARF6 not only could induce ethylene synthesis by directly activating the transcription of ethylene biosynthetic genes,but also competed with EIN3-binding F-box proteins PpEBF1/2 for binding to ethylene-insensitive3-like proteins PpEIL2/3,thereby keeping PpEIL2/3 active.Moreover,PpARF6 showed an interaction with PpEIL2/3 to enhance the PpEIL2/3-activated transcription of ethylene biosynthetic genes.Additionally,ectopic overexpression of PpARF6 in tomato accelerated fruit ripening by promoting the expression of genes involved in ethylene synthesis and fruit texture.In summary,our results revealed a positive regulatory role of PpARF6 in peach fruit ripening via integrating auxin and ethylene signaling.展开更多

The classical energy integrating(EI)detector will always accumulate excess clutter or noise energy,which leads to unacceptable performance deterioration if the detection window is not selected properly. In this paper, an EI detector for the distributed targets in the Gaussian environment is proposed.First, at the stage of preparatory work, the target models are proposed, then, the problem formulation is introduced. Subsequently,in the aspect of optimizing the method of detection window search and the method of threshold setting, the detailed design stages of the proposed detector are provided. Furthermore, theoretical analyses show that the proposed detector is easy to hardware implementation, and it does not need the prior knowledge about the spatial distribution of the target scattering centers in practical radar detection application. Finally, the performance assessment conducted by Monte Carlo simulations verifies that the proposed detector outperforms the conventional detectors.展开更多

The discrete variational principle and the Euler-Lagrange equation are derived for the systems. By using this discrete algorithm it is shown that mechanico-electrical systems are not symplectic and their energies are not conserved unless they are Lagrange mechanico-electrical systems. 文摘Target detection for wideband radar has recently received extensive attention. The classical energy integrating(EI)detector will always accumulate excess clutter or noise energy,which leads to unacceptable performance deterioration if the detection window is not selected properly. In this paper, an EI detector for the distributed targets in the Gaussian environment is proposed.First, at the stage of preparatory work, the target models are proposed, then, the problem formulation is introduced. Subsequently,in the aspect of optimizing the method of detection window search and the method of threshold setting, the detailed design stages of the proposed detector are provided. Furthermore, theoretical analyses show that the proposed detector is easy to hardware implementation, and it does not need the prior knowledge about the spatial distribution of the target scattering centers in practical radar detection application. Finally, the performance assessment conducted by Monte Carlo simulations verifies that the proposed detector outperforms the conventional detectors.
文摘A boxcar integrator is described which is suitable for the low-repetition-rate signal processing. This boxcar integrator, named fixed-interval mode boxcar integrator, is able to reject harmonics other than the first harmonic component. It can also decrease the effective time constant In many situations, the antialiasing filter with narrow bandwidth will cause distortion of the input signal. The fixed-interval mode boxcar integrator with suitable gate width can achieve relative high performance without signal distortion because the bandwidth of its antialiasing filter can be wider than that in the fixed-Point boxcar integrator. ms boxcar integrator is used as majn part of signalprocessing circult in the low resisance measurement of inductive load coil. The results of experiments show that the fixed-interval boxcar integrator is suitable for low-repetition-rate use.

文摘Two new fourth-order three-stage symplectic integrators are specifically designed for a family of Hamiltonian systems,such as the harmonic oscillator,mathematical pendulum and latticeφ4 model.When the nonintegrable latticeφ4 system is taken as a test model,numerical comparisons show that the new methods have a great advantage over the second-order Verlet symplectic integrators in the accuracy of energy,become explicitly better than the usual non-gradient fourth-order seven-stage symplectic integrator of Forest and Ruth,and are almost equivalent to a fourth-order seven-stage force gradient symplectic integrator of Chin.As the most important advantage,the new integrators are convenient for solving the variational equations of many Hamiltonian systems so as to save a great deal of the computational cost when scanning a lot of orbits for chaos.

文摘A discrete total variation calculus with variable time steps is presented for mechanico-electrical systems where there exist non-potential and dissipative forces. By using this discrete variation calculus, the symplectic-energy-first integrators for mechanico-electrical systems are derived. To do this, the time step adaptation is employed. The discrete variational principle and the Euler-Lagrange equation are derived for the systems. By using this discrete algorithm it is shown that mechanico-electrical systems are not symplectic and their energies are not conserved unless they are Lagrange mechanico-electrical systems. A practical example is presented to illustrate these results.
