Block and parallel modelling of broad domain nonlinear continuous mapping based on NN

The necessity of the use of the block and parallel modeling of the nonlinear continuous mappings with NN is firstly expounded quantitatively. Then, a practical approach for the block and parallel modeling of the nonlinear continuous mappings with NN is proposed. Finally, an example indicating that the method raised in this paper can be realized by suitable existed software is given. The results of the experiment of the model discussed on the 3-D Mexican straw hat indicate that the block and parallel modeling based on NN is more precise and faster in computation than the direct ones and it is obviously a concrete example and the development of the large-scale general model established by Tu Xuyan. 展开更多

A universal numerical approach for nonlinear mathematic programming problems is presented with an application of ratios of first-order differentials/differences of objective functions to constraint functions with respect to design variables. This approach can be efficiently used to solve continuous and, in particular, discrete programmings with arbitrary design variables and constraints. As a search method, this approach requires only computations of the functions and their partial derivatives or differences with respect to design variables, rather than any solution of mathematic equations. The present approach has been applied on many numerical examples as well as on some classical operational problems such as one-dimensional and two-dimensional knap-sack problems, one-dimensional and two-dimensional resource-distribution problems, problems of working reliability of composite systems and loading problems of machine, and more efficient and reliable solutions are obtained than traditional methods. The present approach can be used without limitation of modeling scales of the problem. Optimum solutions can be guaranteed as long as the objective function, constraint functions and their First-order derivatives/differences exist in the feasible domain or feasible set. There are no failures of convergence and instability when this approach is adopted. 展开更多

Compliant mobile robotics is a developing bioinspired concept of propulsion for locomotion.This paper studies the modeling and analysis of a compliant tail-propelled fish-like robot.This biomimetic design uses a fluid-filled network of channels embedded into the soft body to actuate the compliant tail and generate thrust.This study analyzes the nonlinear dynamics of Fish Tail Fluidic Actuator(FTFA).The fluidic expansion under pressure creates a bending moment in the tail.It is demonstrated that the tail response follows the theoretical formulation extracted from the accurate modeling.In this modeling,tail is assumed as a continuous Euler–Bernoulli beam considering large deflection and nonlinear strain.Then,the implementation of Hamilton's principle and the method of calculation lead to the motion equations.The assumed mode method is used to achieve the mathematical model in the multi-mode system that is more similar to the soft continuous system.We investigate the tendencies of the tail amplitude,swimming speed,and Strouhal number when the input driving frequency changes.The simulation results disclose that high swimming efficiency can be obtained at the multi-order resonances;meanwhile,the compliant fish robot is pushed at the corresponding frequency illustrating nonlinear behavior. 展开更多
