As an essential part of the urban infrastructure,underground utility tunnels have a long service life,complex structural performance evolution and dynamic changes both inside and outside the tunnel.These combined factors result in a wide variety of disaster risks during the operation and maintenance phase,which make risk management and control particularly challenging.This work first reviews three common representative disaster factors during the operation and maintenance period:settlement,earthquakes,and explosions.It summarizes the causes of disasters,key technologies,and research methods.Then,it delves into the research on the intelligent operation and maintenance architecture for utility tunnels.Additionally,it explores the data challenges,monitoring technologies,and management platform architectures faced during the operation and maintenance process.This work provides new research perspectives for the long-term,healthy,and sustainable development of utility tunnels,which serve as the underground arteries of cities. 展开更多

The rapid expansion of photovoltaic(PV)deployment poses new challenges for large-scale and distributed maintenance,particularly in fishery-PV complementary plants where panels are deployed over water surfaces.This paper presents the design and implementation of an intelligent operation and maintenance(O&M)system that integrates a 3D holographic digital twin cloud platform with UAV-assisted inspection and localized cleaning.The proposed system supports multi-source data acquisition,including UAV imagery,infrared sensing,and DustIQ-based soiling monitoring,and provides real-time visualization of the PV plant through 1:13D reconstruction.UAVs are employed for both autonomous inspections,covering defects such as soiling,bird droppings,bypass diode faults,and panel disconnections and targeted cleaning in small water-covered areas.Field trials were conducted at Riyue and Chebu PV plants,with small-scale UAV cleaning validation in Chebu fish ponds.Results demonstrated that the system achieves efficient task scheduling,fault detection,and localized cleaning,thereby improving O&M efficiency,reducing costs,and enabling digitalized and intelligent management for large-scale PV stations. 展开更多

The system is formulated into five function modules, and the research problem is to determine one auxiliary maintains plan, including the time allocation and frequency of maintenance. The case of Guangzhou metro is conducted to illustrate the applicability of SOMS, and the results reveal a number of interesting insights into subway maintenance system, i.e., the worksheet can reduce duplication of redundant maintenance work, the repair cost, and the damage caused by frequent disassembly. 展开更多

Oil and gas production systems have the characteristics of high operation and maintenance risk and great accident influence.With the deep integration of informationization and industrialization,the development direction and necessary choice of the oil and gas industry is to develop the oil and gas production system into the interconnected,multi-domain interactive cyber-physical intelligent system.In order to avoid or reduce the complex,diverse and potentially unknown safety risks in the process of oil and gas production,improve the safety and reliability of oil and gas production system and increase the production efficiency,this paper analyzes the safety problems occurring in the intelligentization process of oil and gas production system and constructs a system from the perspective of operation and maintenance based on key elements of intelligent safe operation and maintenance technology,combined with the typical production scenarios in the oil and gas production industry.And the following research results are obtained.First,the connotation of intelligent safe operation and maintenance technology is clarified,the key elements and existing problems and challenges of intelligent safe operation and maintenance technology are analyzed,and the“1-2-3-4-5-6”intelligent safe operation and maintenance technology system of oil and gas production system is constructed,which empowers six key technologies with key elements of oil and gas production to realize the essential safety of oil and gas production system.Second,the intelligent safe operation and maintenance technology actively promotes the application and implementation of condition monitoring,health management,risk assessment,intelligent early warning technologies in typical production scenarios such as drilling and extraction,storage and transportation,refining and chemical industry in up,middle and down streams of oil and gas production.Third,in view of the characteristics of oil and gas production system under digital transformation,it is proposed to develop the intelligent safe operation and maintenance technology with the functions of intelligent decision-making,active prevention and comprehensive safety in the future to help the safe construction in thefield of oil and gas production and promote the safe and healthy development of the oil and gas industry.In conclusion,the research on intelligent safe operation and maintenance technology system of oil and gas production system is conducive to the safe construction in thefield of oil and gas production,which will not only provide technical support for the realization of trouble-free oil and gas production system,but also provide reference for the intelligent development of the world oil and gas industry. 展开更多

Systematic, preventive and corrective maintenance is essential for existing buildings in order to retain their original functionality and appearance and satisfy the needs of the users. Essential input for maintenance is information about buildings. This paper discusses the assessment of the advantages and limitations of using photogrammetry and a low-cost 3D scanner to collect information from existing buildings and create, through integrative software, BIM models as information systems to support the operation and maintenance functions. Also, these methodologies were compared with one another as well as with a manual information survey conducted at a university campus. The main conclusion is that a combination of methods must be used to obtain geometrical information on existing buildings for their operation and maintenance functions, depending on which ones are the most suitable for the case at hand. 展开更多

In addition, land subsidence of 5 to 10 centimetres per year is taking place. The climate change phenomenon provokes land areas that are lower than sea water level from time to time. This makes the situation with respect to flooding increasingly risky. Semarang Old City (heritage) as part of principal Semarang area is suffering also from regular flooding and pollution that hamper the revitalisation of the old city. These areas used to be productive lands, but flooding make the existing public infrastructure does no longer function, and residential areas have changed into unhealthy slams. To overcome these problems, the Government of Semarang chooses a polder drainage system to address the flooding in Semarang. In the framework of the cooperation between Indonesia and the Netherlands, these activities consist of research and workshops on Urban Heritage. The scope consists basically of five components: experiences with urban drainage and flood protection in Semarang with a focus on Semarang Old City, field visit to relevant places with respect to urban drainage and flood protection of Semarang Old City, lectures on the relevant aspects of urban drainage and flood protection, exercises to get an insight in the processes that can take place under normal and extreme conditions, formulation of a preliminary plan to improve the situation with respect to urban drainage and flood protection of Semarang Old City. In this paper, the various relevant points are described, such as scenarios analysis as well as the findings and recommendations for improvement of the urban drainage system and flood protection of Semarang Heritage City. 展开更多
