The modular design technology is of importance increasingly,as product structure is more and more complex.Modular design systems face challenging problems as the design information tends to be dynamic,redundant,and ve...The modular design technology is of importance increasingly,as product structure is more and more complex.Modular design systems face challenging problems as the design information tends to be dynamic,redundant,and very large.This paper describes a novel approach for handling them.In this approach,a partition is firstly performed for the complex structural components by mapping functions to the structures layer by layer.Based on this partition,a comprehensive design matrix is then developed to identify the key design mode which is driven by a special function.The design process is also programmed by analyzing the coupled information on both the functional and structural hierarchies.Then,the integrated knowledge model based on object-oriented method and hybrid inference method is constructed.In this model,knowledge can be organized at hierarchical classification and expressed with different forms.Finally,the methodology developed has been applied to a real application in automobile cylinder block design and the results are presented.展开更多

Considering the strong nonlinearity of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)resulting from high Angle of Attack(AOA)and fast maneuvering,we present a multi-model predictive control strategy for UAV maneuvering,which has a sm...Considering the strong nonlinearity of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)resulting from high Angle of Attack(AOA)and fast maneuvering,we present a multi-model predictive control strategy for UAV maneuvering,which has a small amount of online calculation.Firstly,we divide the maneuver envelope of UAV into several sub-regions on the basis of the gap metric theory.A novel algorithm is then developed to determine the ploytopic model for each sub-region.According to this,a Robust Model Predictive Control based on the Idea of Comprehensive optimization(ICE-RMPC)is proposed.The control law is designed offline and optimized online to reduce the computational expense.Then,the ICE-RMPC method is applied to design the controllers of sub-regions.In addition,to guarantee the stability of whole closed-loop system,a multi-model switching control strategy based on guardian maps is put forward.Finally,the tracking performance of proposed control strategy is demonstrated by an illustrative example.展开更多

This enables a combination of artful design and scientifi c analysis through the establishment of an urban design indicator system, the application of digital technologies and a multi-leveled control over design contents. The chosen case of the Daqing Comprehensive Urban Design shows that the proposed measures can effectively promote the supervision of comprehensive urban design on both urban morphology and landscape, rapidly convert the urban design outcomes into management rules, and ultimately facilitate the application of the urban design outcomes.展开更多
MXenes hold significant potential in lithium-sulfur(LieS)battery applications due to its robust polysulfide adsorption and catalytic effect on polysulfide transformation achieved by adjustable transition metals and su...MXenes hold significant potential in lithium-sulfur(LieS)battery applications due to its robust polysulfide adsorption and catalytic effect on polysulfide transformation achieved by adjustable transition metals and surface functional groups.Introduction of heteroatoms can prompt an electron distribution and refine MXenes surface structure,thereby substantially enhancing its electrochemical capabilities.Herein,partially oxidized Ti_(3-y)Nb_(y)C_(2)T_(x)(OeTi_(3-y)Nb_(y)C_(2)T_(x))heterostructure has been prepared by in-situ oxidization of Ti_(3-y)Nb_(y)C_(2)T_(x)MXene in anhydrous ethanol.The incorporation of niobium(Nb)species within the Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)matrix plays a pivotal role:augmenting the catalytic conversion of polysulfides and concurrently fortifying the cyclic stability of the electrode constituents.When employed in LieS batteries separator and cathode,it delivers impressive rate performance and durability.The O-Ti_(2.7)Nb_(0.3)C_(2)T_(x)/S cathode exhibits an initial discharge capacity of 1260 mA,h/g at a current density of 0.1℃,and a minuscule capacity decay rate of a mere 0.029%per cycle over 2000 cycles at 1C.Even at a significantly elevated current density of 4℃,an appreciable capacity of 640 mA,h/g is sustained.This research opens new avenues to explore MXene heterostructures with both superior electrocatalytic and adsorption properties for alkali metal-S batteries.展开更多

Traditional 3D modeling platforms such a...As 3D technology, including computer graphics, virtual reality and 3D printing, has been rapidly developed in the past years, 3D models are gaining an increasingly huge demand. Traditional 3D modeling platforms such as Maya and ZBrush, utilize "windows, icons, menus, pointers" (WlMP) interface paradigms for fine-grained control to construct detailed models. However, the modeling progress can be tedious and frustrating and thus too hard for a novice user or even a well trained artist. Therefore, a more intuitive interface is needed. Sketch, an intuitive communication and modeling tool for human beings, becomes the first choice of modeling community. So far, various sketch-based modeling systems have been created and studied. In this paper, we at- tempt to show how these systems work and give a comprehensive survey. We review and categorize the systems in four aspects: the input, the knowledge they use, the modeling approach and the output. We also discuss about inherent challenges and open problems for researchers in the future.展开更多
