Dynamic Analysis of Horizontal Servo System in Suspension Gravity Compensation System

A new suspension gravity compensation system has been developed to alleviate the gravity effects on a two-dimensional(2D)deployable mechanism for ground verification.Considering the rigid-flexible coupling of both the rotating servo and the suspension system,a multi-body dynamic model simulating their integration is established using Lagrange’s equation.To mitigate instantaneous impact forces due to significant non-plumb effects from passive following in the horizontal direction,an elastic element is added in series with the rope in the vertical suspension system.The dynamic response of this elastic element relative to the rotating servo system is analyzed by the ADAMS software.Simulation results show that the compensating error decreases significantly from 45%to 0.31%when incorporating elastic elements compared to scenarios without such elements.Additionally,low-stiffness elastic elements demonstrate a higher compensating error than high-stiffness ones.A spring with a stiffness coefficient of 6 N/mm is selected in the experiment,ensuring that compensating error meets the design specification of 5%. 展开更多

In this paper we address the dynamics of compensation cutting process from both Laplace s frequency domain and the time domain of the first time, using the two computer aided analyzing softwares: MATLAB and SIMULINK. Theoretical analysis and simulation experiments firstly show that not only the systematical stiffness of workpiece, spindle and tools, but also the regenerated coefficient affects the compensation displacement effect. The results show that the SREC is practicable in reality to decease the spindle induced errors in many engineering applications such as hard boring through simulation and the preliminary experiment results. 展开更多

The li near errors and high order errors of a sensor (especially piezoresistive sensor) can be corrected by using this system. It can optimize the process of piezoresi stive sensor calibration and compensation, then, a total error factor within 0.2 % of the sensor′s repeatability errors is obtained. Data are recorded and coeff icients are determined automatically by this system, thus, the sensor compensati on is simplified greatly. For operating easily, a wizard compensation program is designed to correct every error and to get the optimum compensation. 展开更多

In order to validate the simulation model and develop heave compensation control strategy,heave compensation model tests were performed.The model test installation includes themining ship motion simulator,the heave compensation system,the lifting pipe simulator,the buffer simulator and the water pool.The tests ofmining ship motion simulator show that it is able to perform under the predetermined attitude path smoothly and can meet the requirements of themining ship motions.The heave compensation effect is more than 60% under random wave and the goal is set to be 50%.The model test results indicate that this heave compensation system is effective and feasible. 展开更多

Aiming at the requirement of the full-ocean-depth(operating water depth 11000 m)manned submersible to carry out the gas-tight sampling operation of the abyss seabed sediment,a kind of full-ocean-depth carrier submersible mechanical hand-held,full-ocean-depth gas-tight sediment sampler(GTSS)with the function of pressure-retaining and coring is designed.Firstly,the volume change model of pressure compensator is established,and it is pointed out that the volume of pressure compensator is about 16.14%equal to the volume of gas-tight sediment sampler(GTSS).Secondly,the pressure compensator is analyzed and calculated,and the relationship between the precharge pressure of the pressure compensator,the nominal volume of the pressure compensator and the pressure holding effect of the gas-tight sediment sampler(GTSS)is studied.The results show that with the increase of gas precharge pressure in the pressure compensator,the final pressure of the sampler also increases.Under the same precharge pressure condition,the larger the nominal volume of the pressure compensator,the greater the final pressure of the sampler.Finally,the air tightness test method is designed by using the developed gas tightness sampler of the full-ocean-depth product,and the change of the final pressure in the gas tight sampler under different precharge pressure is observed.The test results are consistent with the simulation results,indicating the correctness of the pressure compensation system(PCS)model. 展开更多

The error map is derived by the proposed predictive learning control algorithm (PLCA), which is supported by the information model of machining complex. Active heave compensation systems are usually employed in offshore and deep-sea operations to reduce the adverse impact of unexpected vessel’s vertical motion on the response of underwater instruments.This paper presents a control strategy for an active heave compensation system consisting of an electro-hydraulic system driven by a double rod actuator,which is subjected to parametric uncertainties and unmeasured environmental disturbances.Adaptive observer and discontinuous projection type updating law with bounded adaption rate are presented firstly to estimate the uncertain system parameters.Then a similar estimation algorithm is designed by using a multiple delayed version of the system to enhance the performance of parameter observation.A reduced order observer is also introduced to estimate unknown wave disturbances.Using the obtained uncertainty information,the resulting control development and stability analysis are implemented based on the Lyapunov’s direct method and back-stepping technique.The proposed controller guarantees the heave compensation error convergent to a bounded neighborhood around the origin.Simulations illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control system. 展开更多

Electro-hydraulic proportional valve is the core control valve in many hydraulic systems used in agricultural and engineering machinery.To address the problem related to the large throttling losses and poor stability typically associated with these valves,here,the beneficial effects of a triangular groove structure on the related hydraulic response are studied.A mathematical model of the pressure compensation system based on the power-bond graph method is introduced,and the AMESim software is used to simulate its response.The results show that the triangular groove structure increases the jet angle and effectively compensates for the hydrodynamic force.The steady-state differential pressure at the valve port of the new pressure compensation structure was 0.65 MPa.Furthermore,experimental results show that the pressure difference at the main valve port is 0.73 MPa,and that the response time is less than 0.2 s.It is concluded that the new compensation structure has good pressure compensation response characteristics. 展开更多

In order to overcome the shortcomings of the traditional sling suspension method,such as complex structure of suspension truss,large running resistance,and low precision of position servo system,a gravity compensation method of lunar rover based on the combination of active suspension and active position following of magnetic levitation is proposed,and the overall design is carried out.The dynamic model of the suspension module of microgravity compensation system was established,and the decoupling control between the constant force component and the position servo component was analyzed and verified.The constant tension control was achieved by using hybrid force/position control.The position following control was realized by using fuzzy adaptive PID(proportional⁃integral⁃differential)control.The stable suspension control was realized based on the principle of force balance.The simulation results show that the compensation accuracy of constant tension could reach more than 95%,the position deviation was less than 5 mm,the position deviation angle was less than 0.025°,and the air gap recovered stability within 0.1 s.The gravity compensation system has excellent dynamic performance and can meet the requirements of microgravity simulation experiment of lunar rover. 展开更多

Feedforward compensation-based L1 adaptive control for aeropropulsion system test facility and hardware-in-the-loop verification

Aeropropulsion System Test Facility (ASTF) is required to accurately control the pressure and temperature of the airflow to test the performance of the aero-engine. However, the control accuracy of ASTF is significantly affected by the flow disturbance caused by aero-engine acceleration and deceleration. This would reduce the credibility of ASTF’s test results for the aero-engine. Therefore, first, this paper proposes a feedforward compensation-based L1 adaptive control method for ASTF to address this problem. The baseline controller is first designed based on ideal uncoupled closed-loop dynamics to achieve dynamic decoupling. Then, L1 adaptive control is adopted to deal with various uncertainties and ensure good control performance. To further enhance the anti-disturbance performance, a feedforward strategy based on disturbance prediction is designed in the L1 adaptive control framework to compensate for the unmatched flow disturbance, which cannot be measured directly. In addition, this strategy takes into account the effects of actuator dynamics. With this method, the feedforward term can be determined from the nominal model parameters despite uncertainties. Finally, to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, various comparative experiments are performed on a hardware-in-the-loop system of ASTF. The experimental results show that the proposed method possesses excellent tracking performance, anti-disturbance performance and robustness. 展开更多

Unknown time-varying periodic disturbances and input delays can degrade control performance and even lead to system instability.This paper presents a novel direct adaptive output feedback controller based on the internal model principle(IMP)to compensate for the unknown time-varying periodic disturbance in input delay systems.To reduce the design difficulty of the controller,the input delay system is equivalent to an input delay-free system by constructing stable auxiliary systems.Next,all the stabilizing controllers of the input delay system are derived by using the Youla parameterization method.Based on the IMP,an interpolation condition to completely compensate for periodic disturbances is formulated.Then,to compensate for the unknown time-varying periodic disturbance,a parameter adaptive algorithm is designed to update the Q-parameters online.The convergence of adaptive algorithms is analyzed by the Lyapunov function theory.Simulation and experimental results validated the effectiveness of the proposed method. 展开更多

The principles and practical issues are complex in ecological compensation, and the corresponding object, entity, financial system of ecological compensation are the keys to set up compensation mechanism, and studying of ecosystem service function and ecological footprint calculation are important ways to quantitatively assess ecological compensation, and are also important foundations for establishing calculation system of green GDP. Advocating the benefit compensation mechanism of ecological economy and enclosing ecological compensation principle are important ways for establishing the new environmental management pattern and manifesting social justice and the ecological civilization ideas. At the end of the 1990 s China started to construct an ecological compensation system for national key ecological function areas. An eco-compensation system focusing on the "Transfer Payment of National Key Ecological Function Areas" has been established. The current eco-compensation system has played a positive role in improving the ecological environment of national key ecological function areas; but the ecological effect is weakening due to existing problems in the eco-compensation system such as unreasonable calculation of compensation standards, poor expression of rights and interests of stakeholders, simple sources of capital and modes of compensation. For better development, the eco-compensation system should be improved by(i) adhering to the combination of vertical compensation(oriented) and horizontal compensation(auxiliary) on the whole and establishing a transfer payment system of eco-compensation at national scale;(ii) defining the compensation standard according to ecological protection costs, development opportunity costs and ecological service values and adding indicators that reflect economic green transformation to evaluate compensation effects;(iii) gradually building a utilization system of eco-compensation funds in which multi-stakeholders participate and establishing a green development-oriented system to evaluate the performance of local governments; and(iv) cultivating a new business pattern where ecological services are the product, to grow the ecological service industry. 展开更多
