A 1/3-scale reinfored concrete(RC) frame of unequal storey height with specially shaped columns was tested under low frequency cyclic loading.The damage characteristic,bearing capacity,deformation capacity and ductility were analyzed.The restoring force model of the frame was obtained based on the study of the hysteresis curve measured in experiment,and the stiffness degeneration characteristics of every storey of the frame were analyzed.Finally the accumulated damage was analyzed with the damage assessment model.It is shown that the seismic behavior of this frame of unequal storey height with specially shaped columns is generally good,but the bottom of first floor column is a weak part,which should be paid more attention in design,and the restoring force model derived from this experiment can be seen as a valuable guide for design and non-linear finite element analysis for this kind of structure. 展开更多

This paper examines the quasi-static cyclic behavior, lateral strength and equivalent damping capacities of a system of post-tensioned segmental bridge columns tied with large diameter martensitic Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) link-bars. Moment-curvature constitutive relationships are formulated and analysis tools are developed for the PT column, including a modified four-spring model prepared for the SMA bars. The suggested system is exemplified using a column with an aspect ratio of 7.5 and twelve 36.5 mm diameter NiTi martensitic SMA bars. A post-tensioning force of 40% to 60% of the tendon yield strength is applied in order to obtain a self re-centering system, considering the residual stress of the martensitie SMA bars. The cyclic response results show that the lateral strength remains consistently around 10% of the total vertical load and the equivalent viscous damping ratios reach 10%-12% of critical. When large diameter NiTi superelastic SMA bars are incorporated into the column system, the cyclic response varies substantially. The creep behavior of the superelastic SMA bar is accounted for since it affects the re-centering capability of the column. Two examples are presented to emphasize the modeling sensitivities for these special bars and quantify their cyclic behavior effects within the column assembly. 展开更多

In order to study the seismic behavior of frame with specially shaped columns,the hysteretic curve was analyzed based on a quasi-static test of a two-span,three-story frame with specially shaped columns.The top layer framework curve and the corresponding resilience model were obtained from the hysteretic curve.And the stiffness and strength degeneration were also investigated.The results indicated that the stiffness degeneration is not obvious,thus the frame with specially shaped columns has high earthquake-resistant behavior.The resilience model calculated from the test can provide reference for design and nonlinear finite element analysis. 展开更多

To investigate the seismic behavior of specially shaped column joints with X-shaped reinforcement,two groups of specimens with or without X-shaped reinforcement in joint core region were tested under constant axial compression load and low reversed cyclic loading,which imitated low to moderate earthquake force.The seismic behavior of specially shaped column joints with X-shaped reinforcement in terms of bearing capacity,displacement,ductility,hysteretic curve,stiffness degradation and energy dissipation was studied and compared to that without Xshaped reinforcement in joint core region.With the damage estimation model,the accumulated damage was analyzed.The shearing capacity formula of specially shaped column joints reinforced by X-shaped reinforcement was proposed with a simple form.The test results show that X-shaped reinforcement is an effective measure for improving the seismic behavior of specially shaped column joints including deformation behavior,ductility and hysteretic characteristic.All specimens were damaged with gradual stiffness degeneration.In addition,X-shaped reinforcement in the joint core region is an effective way to lighten the degree of cumulated damage.The good seismic performance obtained from the specially shaped column joint with X-shaped reinforcement can be used in engineering applications.The test value is higher than the calculated value,which indicates that the formula is safe for the design of specially shaped column joints. 展开更多

Based on the introductions of a type of diaphragm-through connection between concrete-filled square steel tubular columns (CFSSTCs) and H-shaped steel beams,a finite element model of the connection is developed and used to investigate the seismic behavior of the connection.The results of the finite element model are validated by a set of cyclic loading tests.The cyclic loading tests and the finite element analyses indicate that the failure mode of the suggested connections is plastic hinge at the beam with inelastic rotation angle exceeding 0.04 rad.The suggested connections have sufficient strength,plastic deformation and energy dissipation capacity to be used in composite moment frames as beam-to-column rigid connections. 展开更多

Elastic critical buckling load of a column depends on various parameters,such as boundary conditions,material,and crosssection geometry.The main purpose of this work is to present a new method for investigating the buckling load of tapered columns subjected to axial force.The proposed method is based on modified buckling mode shape of tapered structure and perturbation theory.The mode shape of the damaged structure can be expressed as a linear combination of mode shapes of the intact structure.Variations in length in piecewise form can be positive or negative.The method can be used for single-span and continuous columns.Comparison of results with those of finite element and Timoshenko methods shows the high accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method for detecting buckling load. 展开更多

为设计一种满足装配式受力性能和工厂标准化生产要求的柱拼接节点,获得更高的承载力、更稳定的柱拼接形式,推动钢结构建筑进一步发展,助力实现建筑领域节能降碳,本文设计制作了3类全螺栓拼接H型截面拼接钢柱,通过静力试验和滞回试验得到... 为设计一种满足装配式受力性能和工厂标准化生产要求的柱拼接节点,获得更高的承载力、更稳定的柱拼接形式,推动钢结构建筑进一步发展,助力实现建筑领域节能降碳,本文设计制作了3类全螺栓拼接H型截面拼接钢柱,通过静力试验和滞回试验得到这3类拼接节点钢柱的破坏模式、静力承载力、滞回曲线、骨架曲线以及延性等,进而评价这3类拼接柱试件的静力承载与滞回性能。研究结果表明:静力试验中3类拼接试件的破坏模式类似,一字型拼接试件极限承载力和极限位移比其他试件的低,U型拼接试件的极限承载力最大,Z型拼接试件极限位移最大;滞回试验中3类拼接试件的极限荷载和极限位移均相近,一字型和Z型拼接试件的延性接近,相比之下,U型拼接试件延性有所提升,一字型拼接试件的耗能能力略低于其他拼接试件的耗能能力,Z型和U型拼接试件的耗能能力相近。U型拼接和Z型拼接各有优点,U型拼接装配简单、整体性更好,而Z型拼接由于拼接面存在高差,承载更稳定,可结合施工要求合理选择拼接形式。 展开更多

为研究柱壁加强型钢管混凝土(concrete-filled steel tube,CFST)框架异形柱节点的抗震性能,文章通过改变柱壁加强区厚度与高度设计3个试验试件,并对其进行低周反复加载。结果表明:各试件主要发生钢梁翼缘的塑性铰破坏,滞回曲线整体为饱... 为研究柱壁加强型钢管混凝土(concrete-filled steel tube,CFST)框架异形柱节点的抗震性能,文章通过改变柱壁加强区厚度与高度设计3个试验试件,并对其进行低周反复加载。结果表明:各试件主要发生钢梁翼缘的塑性铰破坏,滞回曲线整体为饱满梭形,各试件承载力较好,节点具备良好的抗震性能;利用ABAQUS有限元软件建立3个试验试件的有限元模型,对比试验与有限元模拟的破坏模式、曲线以及应变分布规律,验证了有限元模拟方法的可靠性,并通过分析进一步明确了节点的抗震性能。试验过程中也出现了钢牛腿与钢梁翼缘的对接焊缝撕裂较早,影响节点耗能能力与延性的充分发挥,基于已验证的有限元模拟方法,研究减小钢牛腿壁板厚度与“狗骨式”构造对于节点抗震性能以及减小焊缝位置断裂风险的影响,结果表明这2种构造可以有效降低焊缝位置的断裂风险,基于设计要求,建议钢牛腿斜坡坡度不小于1∶6.25,钢梁翼缘削弱比例不大于0.267。 展开更多

韧性结构不仅能抵抗高烈度地震作用,而且在震后只需更换损伤构件即可快速恢复功能,近年来受到广泛关注。文章提出一种配置V形钢可更换耗能构件的狗骨式翼缘削弱梁柱节点,并介绍其构造形式及设计理念。利用ABAQUS有限元软件,分析该节点... 韧性结构不仅能抵抗高烈度地震作用,而且在震后只需更换损伤构件即可快速恢复功能,近年来受到广泛关注。文章提出一种配置V形钢可更换耗能构件的狗骨式翼缘削弱梁柱节点,并介绍其构造形式及设计理念。利用ABAQUS有限元软件,分析该节点的破坏模式、应力与应变分布,揭示其破坏机理、传力路径及耗能机制;在此基础上,研究V形钢连接件和狗骨式削弱连接件的关键设计参数(包括厚度、材料强度以及削弱连接件的削弱宽度)对节点抗震性能的影响。研究结果表明:在传统狗骨式可更换节点的基础上配置V形钢可更换耗能构件,能显著提高节点的耗能能力和延性性能,其等效黏滞阻尼系数在0.257~0.331之间;V形钢连接件在受力过程中发生明显塑性变形,实现了损伤可控及震后可更换的抗震设计目标;狗骨式削弱连接件与V形钢连接件宜采用LY160或Q235钢;狗骨式削弱连接件厚度宜取梁翼缘厚度的0.9~1.5倍,削弱宽度宜取25~30 mm,而V形钢连接件厚度宜取梁翼缘厚度的0.3~0.6倍。 展开更多

冷弯薄壁型钢部分包覆轻质混凝土十形柱的抗震性能

针对冷弯薄壁型钢构件局部易屈曲和陶粒轻质混凝土易开裂问题,考虑建筑室内布置美学方面要求,提出一种可预制装配的冷弯薄壁型钢部分包覆轻质混凝土十形柱.以粗骨料取代率为参数设计并制作4根十形柱,完成低周往复加载试验;基于此,采用... 针对冷弯薄壁型钢构件局部易屈曲和陶粒轻质混凝土易开裂问题,考虑建筑室内布置美学方面要求,提出一种可预制装配的冷弯薄壁型钢部分包覆轻质混凝土十形柱.以粗骨料取代率为参数设计并制作4根十形柱,完成低周往复加载试验;基于此,采用有限元软件ABAQUS对轻骨料混凝土强度、钢板强度、钢板厚度和加载角度进行拓展分析.试验结果表明:4个试件滞回曲线均呈对称饱满的梭形,试件破坏形态呈现压弯破坏;随着粗骨料取代率由0%增大到30%、70%和100%,试件重量分别减轻77、176、252 kg/m^(3),碳减排量分别降低19.18%、38.11%和49.93%,极限承载力分别降低1.0%、4.7%和9.2%,延性系数先增大1.4%,后降低3.8%和4.2%,耗能分别降低8.6%、2.5%和6.7%;采用粉煤灰陶粒替代普通石子作为混凝土粗骨料对冷弯薄壁型钢部分包裹混凝土十形柱抗震性能影响不显著,但相比于普通混凝土具有巨大的碳排减潜力;提高轻骨料混凝土强度对试件的承载力、延性及耗能性能提升不明显;当钢板强度由Q235提高至Q355时,试件极限承载力提高45.1%;当钢板厚度由4 mm分别增加至5 mm和6 mm时,试件极限承载力分别提高14.8%和35.5%;试件的最不利加载角度为45°. 展开更多

冷弯型钢-固废泡沫混凝土异形拼合边柱轴压试验及承载力设计方法

为提高冷弯型钢拼合柱稳定承载力,进一步拓展冷弯型钢构件应用场景,提出冷弯型钢-固废泡沫混凝土异形拼合边柱(CFS-SWFC)。不同于以往焊接钢管混凝土构件,冷弯型钢拼合柱壁厚薄易屈曲且采用自攻螺钉拼接而成,冷弯型钢与核心混凝土的组... 为提高冷弯型钢拼合柱稳定承载力,进一步拓展冷弯型钢构件应用场景,提出冷弯型钢-固废泡沫混凝土异形拼合边柱(CFS-SWFC)。不同于以往焊接钢管混凝土构件,冷弯型钢拼合柱壁厚薄易屈曲且采用自攻螺钉拼接而成,冷弯型钢与核心混凝土的组合效果尚不明确。开展4根异形空腔边柱和6根CFS-SWFC轴压试验,对比分析试件屈曲机制和破坏模式。建立CFS-SWFC数值分析模型,在试验验证基础上开展了多参数拓展分析,研究强度、壁厚和截面尺寸等对试件承载力的影响。基于现行规范GB 50936—2014提出了CFS-SWFC承载力计算方法。结果表明:固废泡沫混凝土提高试件稳定承载力达271%,混凝土强度提高后变形能力最多下降18%,但最终破坏模式未明显改变;FC强度、CFS厚度与截面尺寸对极限承载力影响显著,大截面构件在提升FC强度时极限承载力提升得更高一些;拼合边柱与固废泡沫混凝土存在一定组合效应,现行规范以钢管屈服作为先决条件的计算方法不适用于该类截面,经修正后公式预测效果与试验结果吻合较好,最大误差为13%。 展开更多

The air chamber is utilized to convert the wave energy into the pneumatic energy. The numerical wave tank based on the two-phase VOF model is established in the present study toinvestigate the operating performance of OWC air chamber. The RANS equations, standard k-ε turbulence model and dynamic mesh technology are employed in the numerical model. The effects of incident wave conditions and shape parameters on the wave energy converting efficiency are studied and the capability of the present numerical wave tank on the corresponding engineering application is validated. 展开更多
