A graph neural network and multi-task learning-based decoding algorithm for enhancing XZZX code stability in biased noise

Quantum error correction is a technique that enhances a system’s ability to combat noise by encoding logical information into additional quantum bits,which plays a key role in building practical quantum computers.The XZZX surface code,with only one stabilizer generator on each face,demonstrates significant application potential under biased noise.However,the existing minimum weight perfect matching(MWPM)algorithm has high computational complexity and lacks flexibility in large-scale systems.Therefore,this paper proposes a decoding method that combines graph neural networks(GNN)with multi-classifiers,the syndrome is transformed into an undirected graph,and the features are aggregated by convolutional layers,providing a more efficient and accurate decoding strategy.In the experiments,we evaluated the performance of the XZZX code under different biased noise conditions(bias=1,20,200)and different code distances(d=3,5,7,9,11).The experimental results show that under low bias noise(bias=1),the GNN decoder achieves a threshold of 0.18386,an improvement of approximately 19.12%compared to the MWPM decoder.Under high bias noise(bias=200),the GNN decoder reaches a threshold of 0.40542,improving by approximately 20.76%,overcoming the limitations of the conventional decoder.They demonstrate that the GNN decoding method exhibits superior performance and has broad application potential in the error correction of XZZX code. 展开更多

Low Complexity Successive Cancellation List Decoding of U-UV Codes

Constituted by BCH component codes and its ordered statistics decoding(OSD),the successive cancellation list(SCL)decoding of U-UV structural codes can provide competent error-correction performance in the short-to-medium length regime.However,this list decoding complexity becomes formidable as the decoding output list size increases.This is primarily incurred by the OSD.Addressing this challenge,this paper proposes the low complexity SCL decoding through reducing the complexity of component code decoding,and pruning the redundant SCL decoding paths.For the former,an efficient skipping rule is introduced for the OSD so that the higher order decoding can be skipped when they are not possible to provide a more likely codeword candidate.It is further extended to the OSD variant,the box-andmatch algorithm(BMA),in facilitating the component code decoding.Moreover,through estimating the correlation distance lower bounds(CDLBs)of the component code decoding outputs,a path pruning(PP)-SCL decoding is proposed to further facilitate the decoding of U-UV codes.In particular,its integration with the improved OSD and BMA is discussed.Simulation results show that significant complexity reduction can be achieved.Consequently,the U-UV codes can outperform the cyclic redundancy check(CRC)-polar codes with a similar decoding complexity. 展开更多

Design of a compact wide-field-of-view infrared imager based on wavefront coding

Compact size,high brightness,and wide field of view(FOV)are key requirements for long-wave infrared imagers used in military surveillance or night navigation.However,to meet the imaging requirements of high resolution and wide FOV,infrared optical systems often adopt complex optical lens groups,which will increase the size and weight of the optical system.In this paper,a strategy based on wavefront coding(WFC)is proposed to design a compact wide-FOV infrared imager.A cubic phase mask is inserted into the pupil plane of the infrared imager to correct the aberration.The simulated results show that,the WFC infrared imager has good imaging quality in a wide FOV of±16°.In addition,the WFC infrared imager achieves compactness with its 40 mm×40 mm×40 mm size.A fast focal ratio of 1 combined with an entrance pupil diameter of 25 mm ensures brightness.This work is of significance for designing a compact wide-FOV infrared imager. 展开更多

This article investigates the distributed recursive filtering problem for discrete-time stochastic cyber–physical systems.A particular feature of our work is that we consider systems in which the state is constrained by saturation.Measurements are transmitted to nodes of a sensor network over unreliable wireless channels.We propose a linear coding mechanism,together with a distributed method for obtaining a state estimate at each node.These designs aim to minimize the state estimation error covariance.In addition,we derive a bound on this covariance,and accommodate the design parameters to minimize this bound.The resulting design depends on the packet loss probabilities of the wireless channels.This permits applying the proposed scheme to systems in which communications suffer from denial-of-service attacks,as such attacks typically affect those probabilities.Finally,we present a numerical example illustrating this application. 展开更多

目的:探究长链非编码RNA分化拮抗非蛋白编码RNA(DANCR)及通过调控DANCR-混合谱系白血病3(MLL3)轴影响胰腺癌进展的分子机制。方法:收集泰安市中心医院2019年1月—2022年12月收治的120例胰腺癌患者的肿瘤组织及配对癌旁组织,检测DANCR表... 目的:探究长链非编码RNA分化拮抗非蛋白编码RNA(DANCR)及通过调控DANCR-混合谱系白血病3(MLL3)轴影响胰腺癌进展的分子机制。方法:收集泰安市中心医院2019年1月—2022年12月收治的120例胰腺癌患者的肿瘤组织及配对癌旁组织,检测DANCR表达量,分析其与临床病理参数及预后的关联;在胰腺癌细胞系(MIA PaCa-2、PANC-1)中敲低DANCR,通过CCK-8、划痕实验、Transwell实验评估其对细胞增殖、迁移及侵袭能力的影响。采用双荧光素酶报告基因实验验证DANCR对MLL3启动子活性的调控作用。通过蛋白质印迹法检测MLL3、H3K4me3及p57的蛋白表达,并使用MLL3抑制剂MI-503进行回复实验,验证DANCR-MLL3-p57信号轴的功能。结果:胰腺癌组织中DANCR mRNA表达显著高于癌旁组织(P<0.01);胰腺癌细胞系中DANCR mRNA表达显著高于正常胰腺导管上皮细胞(P<0.01),MLL3 mRNA表达则显著降低(P<0.01),且胰腺癌细胞系中两者表达呈显著负相关(r=-0.808,P<0.01);DANCR高表达与胰腺癌淋巴结转移、低分化相关(P<0.01),且高表达患者总生存期显著缩短(P<0.01);敲低DANCR后,MIA PaCa-2、PANC-1细胞增殖活力、划痕迁移率、Transwell迁移及侵袭细胞数均显著降低(P<0.01);双荧光素酶报告基因实验证实DANCR可抑制MLL3启动子活性(P<0.01);敲低DANCR可上调MLL3、H3K4me3、p57蛋白表达(P<0.01),而加入MI-503可逆转上述蛋白表达变化及细胞功能抑制效应(P<0.01)。结论:DANCR通过调节DANCR-MLL3轴促进胰腺癌的恶性进展,可能成为胰腺癌潜在的预后生物标志物和治疗靶点。 展开更多

目的探讨胰腺癌组织中长链非编码RNA(long non-coding RNA,lncRNA)肿瘤抑制候选基因7(tumor suppressor candidate 7,TUSC7)、癌症易感候选基因11(cancer susceptibility candidate 11,CASC11)、分化拮抗非蛋白编码RNA(differentiation ... 目的探讨胰腺癌组织中长链非编码RNA(long non-coding RNA,lncRNA)肿瘤抑制候选基因7(tumor suppressor candidate 7,TUSC7)、癌症易感候选基因11(cancer susceptibility candidate 11,CASC11)、分化拮抗非蛋白编码RNA(differentiation antagonizing non-protein coding RNA,DANCR)表达与患者临床病理特征和预后的关系。方法选取我院2017年11月至2022年5月收治的136例胰腺癌患者为研究对象,对患者进行2年随访并根据预后分为存活组(n=62)和死亡组(n=74)。采用RT-qPCR检测癌组织及癌旁组织中lncRNA TUSC7、CASC11和DANCR表达。采用Kaplan-Meier曲线分析lncRNA TUSC7、CASC11、DANCR表达水平与胰腺癌患者预后的关系;采用多因素Cox回归分析胰腺癌预后的影响因素。结果与癌旁组织比较,胰腺癌组织中lncRNA TUSC7表达水平较低(t=12.338,P<0.05),lncRNA CASC11、DANCR表达水平较高(t=15.248、11.945,P<0.05)。lncRNA TUSC7和CASC11表达水平与胰腺癌分化程度、TNM分期有关(P<0.05),lncRNA DANCR表达水平与胰腺癌TNM分期、神经侵犯有关(P<0.05)。死亡组中/低分化、TNM为Ⅲ期、神经侵犯的占比显著高于存活组(χ^(2)=6.648、7.106、6.921,P<0.05)。与存活组比较,死亡组癌组织中lncRNA TUSC7表达水平较低(t=6.046,P<0.05),lncRNA CASC11和DANCR表达水平较高(t=7.791、6.987,P<0.05)。Kaplan-Meier分析显示,lncRNA TUSC7高表达患者的存活率高于lncRNA TUSC7低表达(χ^(2)=9.113,P=0.003);lncRNA CASC11高表达患者存活率低于lncRNA CASC11低表达(χ^(2)=13.933,P<0.001);lncRNA DANCR高表达患者存活率低于lncRNA DANCR低表达(χ^(2)=6.549,P=0.010)。多因素Cox回归分析显示,中/低分化、TNMⅢ期、有神经侵犯、lncRNA TUSC7、CASC11和DANCR表达水平均为胰腺癌预后的影响因素(P<0.05)。结论胰腺癌组织中lncRNA TUSC7低表达,lncRNA CASC11和DANCR高表达,且三者表达水平与患者临床病理特征、预后密切相关。 展开更多

A novel variable-to-variable-length compression codes is designed as advanced fre- quency-directed run-length (AFDR) codes. Different [rom frequency-directed run-length (FDR) codes, AFDR encodes both 0- and 1-runs and uses the same codes to the equal length runs. It also modifies the codes for 00 and 11 to improve the compression performance. Experimental results for ISCAS 89 benchmark circuits show that AFDR codes achieve higher compression ratio than FDR and other compression codes. 展开更多

Performance of STBC-MC-CDMA system based on complex wavelet packet and turbo coding

On the basis of analyzing the principle of the space-time coding technique and the multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) technique, adopting the turbo codes as channel coding and the optimized complex wavelet packet as multi-carrier modulation, a novel space-time block coded the MC-CDMA system based on complex wavelet packet and turbo coding is proposed, and the system bit error rate (BER) performance in the Rayleigh fading channel is investigated. The system can make full use of space-time block codes' transmit diversity and turbo codes' good ability against fading channel to improve the BER performance significantly, and it can also avoid the decrease of spectrum efficiency of conventional MC-CDMA due to inserting cyclic prefix (CP) by utilizing superior characteristics of the optimized complex wavelet packet. Simulation results show that the proposed space-time block coded MC-CDMA system based on the complex wavelet packet performs better than the conventional space-time block coded MC-CDMA (STBC-MC-CDMA) system, and slightly outperforms the STBC-MC-CDMA with CP. Moreover, the application of the space-time block coding technique concatenated with turbo codes strengthens the system ability to combat various interferences in fading channel further. 展开更多

This paper concentrateson channel decoders that exploit the residual redundancy inherent in the enhanced variable ratecodec bitstream. This residual redundancy is quantified by modeling the parameters as first orderMarkov chains and computing the entropy rate based on the relative frequencies of transitions.Moreover, this residual redundancy can be exploited by an appropriately 'tuned' channel decoder toprovide substantial coding gain when compared with the decoders that do not exploit it. Low-density parity-check(LDPC)codes are widely used due to their significant errorcorrection capability and linear decoding complexity.However,it is not sufficient for LDPC codes to satisfy the ultra low bit error rate(BER)requirement of next-generation ultra-high-speed communications due to the error floor phenomenon.According to the residual error characteristics of LDPC codes,we consider using the high rate Reed-Solomon(RS)codes as the outer codes to construct LDPC-RS product codes to eliminate the error floor and propose the hybrid error-erasure-correction decoding algorithm for the outer code to exploit erasure-correction capability effectively.Furthermore,the overall performance of product codes is improved using iteration between outer and inner codes.Simulation results validate that BER of the product code with the proposed hybrid algorithm is lower than that of the product code with no erasure correction.Compared with other product codes using LDPC codes,the proposed LDPC-RS product code with the same code rate has much better performance and smaller rate loss attributed to the maximum distance separable(MDS)property and significant erasure-correction capability of RS codes. 展开更多

目的探讨鼻咽癌组织中长链非编码RNA抗分化非编码RNA(lncRNA ANCR)表达与临床病理特征的相关性。方法随机纳入2015年6月—2019年6月在本院病理确诊鼻咽癌的115例患者为研究对象,采用实时荧光定量PCR法检测肿瘤组织与癌旁正常组织中lncRN... 目的探讨鼻咽癌组织中长链非编码RNA抗分化非编码RNA(lncRNA ANCR)表达与临床病理特征的相关性。方法随机纳入2015年6月—2019年6月在本院病理确诊鼻咽癌的115例患者为研究对象,采用实时荧光定量PCR法检测肿瘤组织与癌旁正常组织中lncRNA ANCR表达量。分析lncRNA ANCR表达与性别、年龄、病理类型、最大直径、分化级别、临床分期、淋巴结转移的相关性。随访60个月,记录患者肿瘤进展和总生存情况。结果肿瘤组织中lncRNA ANCR表达量高于癌旁正常组织,差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。最大直径≥3 cm、低分化、Ⅲ~Ⅳ期、淋巴结转移阳性患者肿瘤组织中lncRNA ANCR表达量高于最大直径<3 cm、中高分化、Ⅰ~Ⅱ期、淋巴结转移阴性患者,差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。肿瘤进展、死亡患者肿瘤组织中lncRNA ANCR表达量高于肿瘤未进展、存活患者,差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。多因素Logistic回归分析显示,最大直径≥3 cm、Ⅲ~Ⅳ期、淋巴结转移阳性、lncRNA ANCR表达量与肿瘤进展密切相关,Ⅲ~Ⅳ期和lncRNA ANCR表达量与死亡密切相关(P<0.001)。受试者工作特征(ROC)曲线显示,肿瘤组织中lncRNA ANCR表达量预测肿瘤进展和死亡的曲线下面积(AUC)分别为0.899和0.842(P<0.001)。Kaplan-Meier生存曲线显示,肿瘤组织中lncRNA ANCR高表达组5年生存率低于lncRNA ANCR低表达组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。结论肿瘤组织中lncRNA ANCR高表达可能参与鼻咽癌的恶性发展,与临床预后密切相关。 展开更多

Network Coding Cooperation Performance Analysis in Wireless Network over a Lossy Channel, M Users and a Destination Scenario 被引量:7

Network coding (NC), introduced at the turn of the century, enables nodes in a network to combine data algebraically before either sending or forwarding them. Random network coding has gained popularity over the years by combining the received packet randomly before forwarding them, resulting in a complex Jordan Gaussian Elimination (JGE) decoding process. The effectiveness of random NC is through cooperation among nodes. In this paper, we propose a simple, low-complexity cooperative protocol that exploits NC in a deterministic manner resulting in improved diversity, data rate, and less complex JGE decoding process. The proposed system is applied over a lossy wireless network. The scenario under investigation is as follows: M users must send their information to a common destination D and to exchange the information between each others, over erasure channels;typically the channels between the users and the destination are worse than the channels between users. It is possible to significantly reduce the traffic among users and destination, achieving significant bandwidth savings, by combining packets from different users in simple, deterministic ways without resorting to extensive header information before being forwarded to the destination and the M users. The key problem we try to address is how to efficiently combine the packets at each user while exploiting user cooperation and the probability of successfully recovering information from all users at D with k < 2M unique linear equations, accounting for the fact that the remaining packets will be lost in the network and there are two transmission stages. Simulation results show the behaviour for two and three transmission stages. Our results show that applying NC protocols in two or three stages decreases the traffic significantly, beside the fact that the proposed protocols enable the system to retrieve the lost packets rather than asking for ARQ, resulting in improved data flow, and less power consumption. In fact, in some protocols the ARQ dropped from the rate 10ˉ<sup>1</sup> to 10ˉ<sup>4</sup>, because of the proposed combining algorithm that enables the nodes to generate additional unique linear equations to broadcast rather than repeating the same ones via ARQ. The code can greatly reduce the encoding complexity while maintaining the same decoding complexity as traditional regular LDPC (H-LDPC) codes defined by the sparse parity check matrix. Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed irregular LDPC codes can offer significant gains over traditional LDPC codes in low SNRs with a few decoding iterations over an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel. 展开更多

Reliable, with high data rate, acoustic communication in time-valTing, multipath shallow water environment is a hot research topic recently. Passive time reversal communication has shown promising results in improvement of the system performance. In multiuser environment, the system performance is significantly degraded due to the interference among different users. Passive time reversal can reduce such interference by minimizing the cross-correlated version of channel impulse response among users, which can be realized by the well-separated users in depth. But this method also has its shortcomings, even with the absence of relative motion, the minimization sometimes may be impossible because of the time-varying environment. Therefore in order to avoid the limitation of minimizing the cross-correlated channel function, an approach of passive time reversal based on space-time block coding (STBC) is presented in this paper. In addition, a single channel equalizer is used as a pest processing technique to reduce the residual symbol interference. Experimental results at 13 kHz with 2 kHz bandwidth demonstrate that this method has better performance to decrease bit error rate and improve signal to noise ratio, compared with passive time reversal alone or passive time reversal combined with equalization. 展开更多

Soft-cancellation(SCAN) is a soft output iterative algorithm widely used in polar decoding. This algorithm has better decoding performance than reduced latency soft-cancellation(RLSC) algorithm, which can effectively reduce the decoding delay of SCAN algorithm by 50% but has obvious performance loss. A modified reduced latency soft-cancellation(MRLSC) algorithm is presented in the paper. Compared with RLSC algorithm, LLR information storage required in MRLSC algorithm can be reduced by about 50%, and better decoding performance can be achieved with only a small increase in decoding delay. The simulation results show that MRLSC algorithm can achieve a maximum block error rate(BLER) performance gain of about 0.4 dB compared with RLSC algorithm when code length is 2048. At the same time, compared with the performance of several other algorithms under(1024, 512) polar codes, the results show that the throughput of proposed MRLSC algorithm has the advantage at the low and medium signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) and better BLER performance at the high SNR. 展开更多

In this paper, we study the performance of physical-layer network coding in asymmetric two-way relay channels using four different cases having different poor channels:phase asymmetry, downlink asymmetry, uplink asymmetry and node asymmetry. The decision and mapping rule for symmetric and asymmetric cases are studied. The performance in terms of bit error rate for each case will be studied and analysed by computer simulation. Analytical and simulation results show that uplink asymmetry is the worst case;intra-phase asymmetry and unreliable uplink channels will more severely affect the performance degradation, which is caused by channel asymmetry. 展开更多
