A scenario where the market demand is changed suddenly by some undesired events is considered. The results reveal that enhancing collaboration with a more resilient supplier can significantly improve supply chain resilience and reduce supply chain losses. It is also found that enhancing the supplier relationship can significantly benefit supply chain resilience if the collaborative intensity is relatively low, and it has less effect if supply chain members have already collaborated closely. Thus, enhancing the supplier relationship to a limited intensity is a relatively effective and economic method to strengthen supply chain resilience.展开更多

The value of demand information sharing is analyzed in a two-level supply chain involving one supplier-multiple retailer model in which retailer demands may be correlated. Each member in the supply chain forecasts its demand using an AR (1) demand process. Two conditions of the information sharing are considered (1) Without the information sharing, the retailers only communicate their orders to the supplier. (2) With the information sharing, retailers communicate their orders and forecasting models to the supplier. Analyses showthat the reductions of supplier's average inventory and average costs are substantial with the information sharing. However, the retailers donot get direct benefit from the information sharing. The retailers may ask the supplier to reduce the replenishment leadtime, so that the retailers will obtain substantial cost savings and inventory reduction. Supplier selection is a vital part of the supply chain and is also a current issue that concerns businesses today as supplier quality directly affects the operations of the organization.Choosing the right supplier can...Supplier selection is a vital part of the supply chain and is also a current issue that concerns businesses today as supplier quality directly affects the operations of the organization.Choosing the right supplier can help businesses increase productivity,competitiveness in the market,and profits without having to lower the quality of the products.However,choosing a supplier is not a simple matter,it requires businesses to consider many aspects about their suppliers.Therefore,the goal of this study is to propose an integrated model consisting of two models:Fuzzy Analytics Network Process(Fuzzy-ANP)model and Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment(WASPAS)to solve the problem above.The Fuzzy-ANP model was developed to evaluate the weightings of the supplier selection criteria,and the WASPAS Model was used to rank the suppliers.An example of supplier selection in the coffee industry in Vietnam was studied to validate the model,namely 5 main criteria,with 16 sub-criteria,and 7 suppliers.The model test results show that the Fuzzy ANP and WASPAS integration model was suitable.In future,these developing models can apply to other industries or integrate with other models.展开更多

To explore the impact of partial centralization on supply chain performance,this study constructs a two-period game model of a closed-loop supply chain involving a manufacturer and an online retail platform participat...To explore the impact of partial centralization on supply chain performance,this study constructs a two-period game model of a closed-loop supply chain involving a manufacturer and an online retail platform participating in the trade-in strategy.Through mathematical modeling and numerical simulation methods,the optimal decisions were analyzed under conditions where the manufacturer partially owns the retail platform’s partial equity.This study finds that partial centralization yields the highest profits,followed by full centralization,with decentralized decisions yielding the lowest profits.Moderate centralization enhances overall profits by optimizing incentive mechanisms,whereas excessive ownership concentration reduces the flexibility of the retail platform,leading to a decline in profits.Additionally,product durability and trade-in subsidy significantly influence supply chain profitability:high-durability products reduce renewal frequency,while trade-in subsidy effectively stimulates consumer demand and increase overall profits.This study provides theoretical support and practical guidance for companies implementing the trade-in strategy.展开更多

As global trade networks deepen and trade patterns evolve,supply chain dynamics have emerged as a critical driver of high-quality development-particularly as reflected in firms’capacity to export higher-quality produ...As global trade networks deepen and trade patterns evolve,supply chain dynamics have emerged as a critical driver of high-quality development-particularly as reflected in firms’capacity to export higher-quality products.Drawing on new-new trade theory,this study incorporates supply chain behavior-specifically,the use of intermediate goods-into the analytical framework for determining export product quality.Theoretically,it posits that technical regulations on the supply chain influence export quality through two key channels:improvements in the quality of intermediate inputs and changes in their associated costs.Empirically,the study exploits China’s imposition of technical barriers to trade(TBT)on intermediate goods imports as a quasi-natural experiment,applying a difference-in-differences approach to firm-level export data from 2000 to 2014.The results show that supply chain technical regulations lead to significant improvements in the quality of exported final products.Mechanistically,the regulations raise the quality of imported intermediates,which in turn drive upgrades in final outputs,while leaving import costs largely unchanged-since compliance expenses are absorbed by foreign exporters rather than passed on to Chinese firms.Further analysis reveals substantial heterogeneity in these effects,depending on both the type of regulation and firm characteristics.These variations reflect differences in regulatory intensity and in firms’sensitivity to supply chain changes,adaptability,and capacity to convert input quality into product upgrades.Overall,the findings suggest that strengthening supply-side regulatory standards-when properly designed-represents a strategic lever for improving product quality and enhancing firms’international competitiveness,offering valuable insights for trade policy and global supply chain governance.展开更多

文摘To explore the impact of partial centralization on supply chain performance,this study constructs a two-period game model of a closed-loop supply chain involving a manufacturer and an online retail platform participating in the trade-in strategy.Through mathematical modeling and numerical simulation methods,the optimal decisions were analyzed under conditions where the manufacturer partially owns the retail platform’s partial equity.This study finds that partial centralization yields the highest profits,followed by full centralization,with decentralized decisions yielding the lowest profits.Moderate centralization enhances overall profits by optimizing incentive mechanisms,whereas excessive ownership concentration reduces the flexibility of the retail platform,leading to a decline in profits.Additionally,product durability and trade-in subsidy significantly influence supply chain profitability:high-durability products reduce renewal frequency,while trade-in subsidy effectively stimulates consumer demand and increase overall profits.This study provides theoretical support and practical guidance for companies implementing the trade-in strategy.
文摘Under the trend of economic globalization,the importance of supply chains has gradually become prominent,especially with the transformation and upgrading of China’s industrial chains in recent years.Supply chain transformation has emerged as a significant focus of current academic research,and the construction of smart supply chains represents an inevitable development trend.This paper utilizes 1,051 research articles on smart supply chains published in core journals on China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)from 2014 to 2024 as the data source.It analyzes the literature data using CiteSpace software,visually exploring and revealing the frontiers and hotspots of domestic research on smart supply chains.The data analysis reveals that academic research in this field is at a stage of steady and healthy development.Domestic research trends include the cooperative mechanisms of smart supply chains in manufacturing,the operational mechanisms of smart supply chains in agriculture,and systematic research on influencing factors of smart supply chains.

文摘The rapidly growing seaweed farming contributes to food,feed,biofuel,and biochemicals,with Indonesia being the largest exporter of raw seaweed(53.35%)but low in carrageenan derivative products(4.49%).Sustainable farming supports SDG 13 and SDG 14 through emission reduction,marine ecosystem conservation,and increased biodiversity.However,its supply chain faces challenges in raw material availability,such as fluctuating harvests,inconsistent quality,limited logistics infrastructure,and market price volatility.Therefore,good environmental management is needed to optimize raw materials in carrageenan production through resource efficiency,environmentally friendly products,environmental regulations,and market and stakeholder awareness.This study identifies factors in the environment-based supply chain that influence the development of carrageenan production centers and analyzes their ecological impacts using quantitative SEM analysis.SEM analysis reveals that resource efficiency,waste management,environmental regulations,and stakeholder awareness and commitment are the main influencing factors.shows significant factors including raw material efficiency,waste management,and environmental regulations.Environmentally based supply chain integration for the development of carrageenan production center areas can be done by;focusing on sustainability and minimal environmental impact,support for achieving SDG 12,13,and 14,strategies for sustainable raw material management,circular economy,sustainability certification,renewable energy and environmentally friendly technology,and stakeholder collaboration and awareness.

文摘The widespread application of new-generation information technologies has driven the continuous development of supply chain finance in terms of expanding the credit base,precise risk control,and diversifying financing channels.In response to this trend,the government has successively introduced a number of policies aimed at regulating,guiding,and supporting the healthy and orderly operation of supply chain finance.These policies include improving public data open platforms,optimizing the regulatory system,strengthening risk governance,accelerating the construction of exchanges,improving the unified registration and information disclosure system,and introducing relevant supporting policies.To further promote the high-quality development of supply chain finance,it is necessary to continuously improve the risk-control system,ensure the stable operation of the financial market,enhance financial governance capabilities,adapt to dynamic market changes,and improve the information disclosure mechanism to provide institutional support for the construction of the data credit system.
文摘The interaction between supply chain relationships and corporate finance has become a focal issue in academic and practical circles,especially under the dual drivers of globalization and marketization.This paper systematically reviews existing research on this topic,covering theoretical foundations from perspectives such as agency theory,stakeholder theory,and co-opetition game theory,which explain the nature of customer-supplier relationships.It also combs through empirical studies from four core angles:competition-cooperation,signal transmission,spillover effects,and information transfer,summarizing findings on how supply chain relationships impact corporate investment,financing,operations,and performance,as well as existing controversies.The aim is to clarify the research context,identify theoretical and empirical gaps,and provide theoretical support and direction for deepening future research on supply chain and corporate finance.

文摘This paper selects the data of China's specialized,special and new“small giants”listed companies from 2011 to 2021,and starts from the key production factor and strategic asset of data assets,empirically examines the impact of data assetization on the supply chain resilience of SRDI SMEs,and examines the impact of data assetization on the supply chain resilience of SRDI SMEs using the role of the mechanism model.Through the mechanism model,the mediating effects of financing constraints and technological innovation are examined,and a path of action is drawn,which provides theoretical evidence and policy recommendations for promoting the digital transformation of SRDI SMEs and improving supply chain resilience.
文摘The purpose of this paper is to present the preliminary literature findings of a research project.The main project is set out to identify,analyse and report on performance requirements,mechanisms and actions required to address the performance of construction related small and medium size enterprises(SMEs)that are providing services for state owned enterprises(SOEs)in South Africa.The need for the project arose from the view that the absence of performance evaluation mechanism leads to the poor management of the performance of organisations involved in most SOE supply chain.This inevitably led to none creation of expected value in the system.Through a related literature study,the findings that have emerged so far suggest that it is notable that the SMEs related programmes in SOEs have not address performance and relationship management within their supply chain strategy in explicit terms as there is less or no means to record,measure and enhance SME contributions.These SMEs also recognise the fact that when their performances are poor and/or good,there is no difference and/or feedback mechanism to record it.

文摘In view of the imperfect supply chain management of prefabricated building,inadequate information interaction among the participating subjects,and untimely information updates,the integration and development of BIM technology plus the supply chain of prefabricated building is analyzed,and the problems existing in the current supply chain and the application of BIM technology at various stages are elaborated.By analyzing the structural composition of the prefabricated building supply chain,an information sharing platform framework for prefabricated building supply chain based on BIM was established,which serves as a valuable reference for managing prefabricated building supply chains.BIM technology aligns well with assembly construction,laying a solid foundation for their synergistic development and offering novel research avenues for the prefabricated building supply chain.

文摘As global trade networks deepen and trade patterns evolve,supply chain dynamics have emerged as a critical driver of high-quality development-particularly as reflected in firms’capacity to export higher-quality products.Drawing on new-new trade theory,this study incorporates supply chain behavior-specifically,the use of intermediate goods-into the analytical framework for determining export product quality.Theoretically,it posits that technical regulations on the supply chain influence export quality through two key channels:improvements in the quality of intermediate inputs and changes in their associated costs.Empirically,the study exploits China’s imposition of technical barriers to trade(TBT)on intermediate goods imports as a quasi-natural experiment,applying a difference-in-differences approach to firm-level export data from 2000 to 2014.The results show that supply chain technical regulations lead to significant improvements in the quality of exported final products.Mechanistically,the regulations raise the quality of imported intermediates,which in turn drive upgrades in final outputs,while leaving import costs largely unchanged-since compliance expenses are absorbed by foreign exporters rather than passed on to Chinese firms.Further analysis reveals substantial heterogeneity in these effects,depending on both the type of regulation and firm characteristics.These variations reflect differences in regulatory intensity and in firms’sensitivity to supply chain changes,adaptability,and capacity to convert input quality into product upgrades.Overall,the findings suggest that strengthening supply-side regulatory standards-when properly designed-represents a strategic lever for improving product quality and enhancing firms’international competitiveness,offering valuable insights for trade policy and global supply chain governance.

文摘This paper examines the impact of upstream merger and acquisition(M&A)activities driven by supply chain integration motives on firm energy performance.By developing a microlevel theoretical framework,we examine the intricate relationship between firms’upstream M&A strategies geared toward supply chain integration and their energy efficiency.We examine the impact of upstream M&A activities on energy performance using data from Chinese listed companies from 2007 to 2021.Our findings reveal that upstream M&A initiatives can enhance firms’energy efficiency,although there are discernible variations in the effects observed for M&A activities targeted downstream or within the same industry.By examining mechanisms,we elucidate the pivotal roles of input substitution effects and productivity enhancements through which upstream M&As boost energy performance.Furthermore,our analysis underscores the catalyzing impact of M&A activities in fostering collaborative innovation in green technologies among firms and suppliers,thus improving productivity and energy efficiency.We provide new microlevel evidence of the relationship between M&A transactions and corporate energy efficiency from upstream and downstream perspectives.
