Based on the analysis of the unique shapes and writing styles of Uyghur characters,we design a framework for prototype character recognition system and carry out a systematic theoretical and experimental research on i...Based on the analysis of the unique shapes and writing styles of Uyghur characters,we design a framework for prototype character recognition system and carry out a systematic theoretical and experimental research on its modules.In the preprocessing procedure,we use the linear and nonlinear normalization based on dot density method.Both structural and statistical features are extracted due to the fact that there are some very similar characters in Uyghur literature.In clustering analysis,we adopt the dynamic clustering algorithm based on the minimum spanning tree（MST）,and use the k-nearest neighbor matching classification as classifier.The testing results of prototype system show that the recognition rates for characters of the four different types（independent,suffix,intermediate,and initial type） are 74.67%,70.42%,63.33%,and 72.02%,respectively;the recognition rates for the case of five candidates for those characters are 94.34%,94.19%,93.15%,and 95.86%,respectively.The ideas and methods used in this paper have some commonality and usefulness for the recognition of other characters that belong to Altaic languages family.展开更多

To analyze the influence of rock properties on pulse compression performance （PCP） of coded excitatio...Coded excitation technology （CET） can effectively enhance the penetration and resolution of ultrasonic testing. To analyze the influence of rock properties on pulse compression performance （PCP） of coded excitation signals （CES）, a numerical simulation, and an ultrasonic experiment on different rock samples are performed; and the detection ability of several CESs are also investigated and compared. The results of experiments showed that the loss of the signal-to-noise ratio （SNR） of Barker coded signal with tapered linear frequency modulated carrier （BTLFM） is always less than Barker coded signal with sine carrier （BS）, while the resolution loss of BTLFM is lower than tapered linear frequency modulated signal （TLFM）. In sum, the results not only verifiy the effectiveness of CET, but also provide a basis for the parameter settings of coded signals used in rock ultrasonic testing.展开更多

In the hydromechanical deep-drawing process, the fluid pres...The present work demonstrates the effectiveness of combining the hydromechanical deep-drawing process with the Tailored Heat Treated Blank（THTB） technique. In the hydromechanical deep-drawing process, the fluid pressure is used for postponing the fracture occurrence in the blank, while the THTB technique allows to create a material property gradient through a suitable artificial aging treatment carried out prior to the forming process. Since the number of process variables is large, in the present work the authors propose an optimization loop for the determination of the parameters controlling the extension of the blank regions to be subjected to the aging treatment and the temperature levels to be set during the heat treatment. The proposed methodology couples a simple finite element model（Abaqus） with a multiobjective optimization platform（mode FRONTIER）. A preliminary experimental campaign was carried out for determining the effect of the aging treatment on the mechanical（through tensile tests） and deformative（through formability tests）behavior of the AC170 PX aluminum alloy. Optimization results prove the effectiveness of the adopted methodology and put in evidence that the adoption of properly aged blanks in the hydromechanical deep drawing allows to increase the limit drawing ratio and to simplify the process since it is conducted at room temperature.展开更多

A mixture of MCl;·x H;O（M = Mn, Co） in MeOH（FeCl;·4H;O in MeCN） and the stoichiometric amount of Py;S;was stirred for 4 h at room temperature, then these aiming products 1, 2 and 3 could be obtained by purification. A mixture of MPy;S;Cl;（M = Co, Ni） in MeOH and two equivalents of KSCN or NaN;was stirred for 4 h at room temperature. After that, complexes 4, 5 and 6 could be got by purifying. For 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, the metal centers are hexa-coordinated in a similar distorted octahedral geometry and the crystal structures have the same space group Pbcn. The crystal structure of compound 6 belongs to monoclinic with space group P21/c. The coordinated atoms around M（Ⅱ） are two pyridyl N atoms(N（1） and N（2）), two thioether S atoms(S（1） and S（2）) and two chloride ions(Cl（1） and Cl（2）) in compounds 1, 2, and 3, but in 4, 5, and 6, two chloride ions(Cl（1） and Cl（2）) are replaced by another two N atoms from N;or NCS;.展开更多
