The problem of disturbance rejection in humanoid robots has been properly studied,with most prior work focusing on hip-ankle-stepping compliance control strategies or whole-body inverse dynamics control.This paper pre...The problem of disturbance rejection in humanoid robots has been properly studied,with most prior work focusing on hip-ankle-stepping compliance control strategies or whole-body inverse dynamics control.This paper presents an adaptive disturbance rejection balance controller based on a Variable-inertia Centroidal Model Predictive Control(ViC-MPC)approach,designed to address both minor disturbances that affect standing balance and major disturbances requiring stepping adjustments.The controller also facilitates reliable balance recovery after stepping adjustments.The humanoid robot is modeled as a spatial variable-inertia ellipsoid,representing the distribution of centroidal dynamics,with the contact wrenches optimized in real-time through a customized MPC formulation.Inspired by capturability-based constraints,we propose an adaptive dynamic stability transition strategy.This strategy is activated based on the Retrospective Horizon Average Centroidal Velocity(RHACV)and the Capture Point(CP),ensuring effective stepping adjustments and disturbance rejection.With the torque-controlled humanoid robot BHR8P,extensive simulation and experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method,highlighting its capability to adapt to and recover from various disturbances with improved stability.展开更多

The algorithm has two stages. First, the input triangular mesh is refined by iteratively applying the adaptive subdivision operator that performs a so-called red-green split. Second, the refined mesh is simplified by a clustering algorithm based on centroidal Voronoi tessellations (CVTs). The accuracy and good quality of the output triangular mesh are achieved by combining adaptive subdivision and the CVTs technique. Storm surge is often the marine disaster that poses the greatest threat to life and property in coastal areas.Accurate and timely issuance of storm surge warnings to take appropriate countermeasures is an important me...Storm surge is often the marine disaster that poses the greatest threat to life and property in coastal areas.Accurate and timely issuance of storm surge warnings to take appropriate countermeasures is an important means to reduce storm surge-related losses.Storm surge numerical models are important for storm surge forecasting.To further improve the performance of the storm surge forecast models,we developed a numerical storm surge forecast model based on an unstructured spherical centroidal Voronoi tessellation(SCVT)grid.The model is based on shallow water equations in vector-invariant form,and is discretized by Arakawa C grid.The SCVT grid can not only better describe the coastline information but also avoid rigid transitions,and it has a better global consistency by generating high-resolution grids in the key areas through transition refinement.In addition,the simulation speed of the model is accelerated by using the openACC-based GPU acceleration technology to meet the timeliness requirements of operational ensemble forecast.It only takes 37 s to simulate a day in the coastal waters of China.The newly developed storm surge model was applied to simulate typhoon-induced storm surges in the coastal waters of China.The hindcast experiments on the selected representative typhoon-induced storm surge processes indicate that the model can reasonably simulate the distribution characteristics of storm surges.The simulated maximum storm surges and their occurrence times are consistent with the observed data at the representative tide gauge stations,and the mean absolute errors are 3.5 cm and 0.6 h respectively,showing high accuracy and application prospects.展开更多

We present a novel adaptive finite element method(AFEM)for elliptic equations which is based upon the Centroidal Voronoi Tessellation(CVT)and superconvergent gradient recovery.The constructions of CVT and its dual Cen...We present a novel adaptive finite element method(AFEM)for elliptic equations which is based upon the Centroidal Voronoi Tessellation(CVT)and superconvergent gradient recovery.The constructions of CVT and its dual Centroidal Voronoi Delaunay Triangulation(CVDT)are facilitated by a localized Lloyd iteration to produce almost equilateral two dimensional meshes.Working with finite element solutions on such high quality triangulations,superconvergent recovery methods become particularly effective so that asymptotically exact a posteriori error estimations can be obtained.Through a seamless integration of these techniques,a convergent adaptive procedure is developed.As demonstrated by the numerical examples,the new AFEM is capable of solving a variety of model problems and has great potential in practical applications.展开更多

The centroid coordinate serves as a critical control parameter in motion systems,including aircraft,missiles,rockets,and drones,directly influencing their motion dynamics and control performance.Traditional methods fo...The centroid coordinate serves as a critical control parameter in motion systems,including aircraft,missiles,rockets,and drones,directly influencing their motion dynamics and control performance.Traditional methods for centroid measurement often necessitate custom equipment and specialized positioning devices,leading to high costs and limited accuracy.Here,we present a centroid measurement method that integrates 3D scanning technology,enabling accurate measurement of centroid across various types of objects without the need for specialized positioning fixtures.A theoretical framework for centroid measurement was established,which combined the principle of the multi-point weighing method with 3D scanning technology.The measurement accuracy was evaluated using a designed standard component.Experimental results demonstrate that the discrepancies between the theoretical and the measured centroid of a standard component with various materials and complex shapes in the X,Y,and Z directions are 0.003 mm,0.009 mm,and 0.105 mm,respectively,yielding a spatial deviation of 0.106 mm.Qualitative verification was conducted through experimental validation of three distinct types.They confirmed the reliability of the proposed method,which allowed for accurate centroid measurements of various products without requiring positioning fixtures.This advancement significantly broadened the applicability and scope of centroid measurement devices,offering new theoretical insights and methodologies for the measurement of complex parts and systems.展开更多
The accuracy of spot centroid positioning has a significant impact on the tracking accuracy of the system and the stability of the laser link construction.In satellite laser communication systems,the use of short-wave...The accuracy of spot centroid positioning has a significant impact on the tracking accuracy of the system and the stability of the laser link construction.In satellite laser communication systems,the use of short-wave infrared wavelengths as beacon light can reduce atmospheric absorption and signal attenuation.However,there are strong non-uniformity and blind pixels in the short-wave infrared image,which makes the image distorted and leads to the decrease of spot centroid positioning accuracy.Therefore,the high-precision localization of the spot centroid of the short-wave infrared images is of great research significance.A high-precision spot centroid positioning model for short-wave infrared is proposed to correct for non-uniformity and blind pixels in short-wave infrared images and quantify the localization errors caused by the two,further model-based localization error simulations are performed,and a novel spot centroid positioning payload for satellite laser communications has been designed using the latest 640×512 planar array InGaAs shortwave infrared detector.The experimental results show that the non-uniformity of the corrected image is reduced from 7%to 0.6%,the blind pixels rejection rate reaches 100%,the frame rate can be up to 2000 Hz,and the spot centroid localization accuracy is as high as 0.1 pixel point,which realizes high-precision spot centroid localization of high-frame-frequency short-wave infrared images.展开更多

The precise acquisition of the quality characteristic parameters of large aircraft directly affects its performance characteristics.For large aircrafts such as missiles and rockets with internal fillings,traditional m...The precise acquisition of the quality characteristic parameters of large aircraft directly affects its performance characteristics.For large aircrafts such as missiles and rockets with internal fillings,traditional measurement methods involving large-angle tilting or rotation may pose safety risks.In light of the characteristics of large aircraft and in combination with existing measurement methods,we design a mass and centroid measurement method based on four-point support and small-angle tilting,and develop a set of mass and centroid testing system.This method obtains the intersection point of the gravity action line in the product coordinate system through coordinate transformation in two postures,thereby obtaining the three-dimensional centroid of the aircraft.We first elaborate on the principle of this method in detail,then introduce the composition of the equipment,and analyze the structural stress of key components.Finally,experimental verification and uncertainty analysis are carried out.Experimental verification shows that the maximum deviation of the mass measurement accuracy is less than 0.02%,the centroid measurement accuracy in the X direction is±0.15 mm,in the Y direction it is±0.21 mm,and in the Z direction it is±0.19 mm.展开更多
With the promotion of potatoes as a staple food,the challenge lies in integrating them into traditional staple grain-based diets.As the primary component of grains,starch plays a crucial role,and its interactions with...With the promotion of potatoes as a staple food,the challenge lies in integrating them into traditional staple grain-based diets.As the primary component of grains,starch plays a crucial role,and its interactions with other heterogeneous starches could significantly influence their functional properties.Therefore,this study aimed to explore the role of substitution ratio(SR,0–100%)of potato starch(PS)in the compatibility with wheat starch(WS)from the perspective of microstructure and physicochemical characteristics using the simplex-centroid method.Results of scaning electron microscopy(SEM)revealed the network structure in SR 30%of PS possessed the smallest size and the most compact gel structure.A higher SR of PS increased the solubility and swelling power of the blended WS and improved its freeze-thaw stability.Peak viscosity and gel hardness of the blended WS exhibited an increasing trend as the SR of PS increased.With the increasing SR of PS,the blended WS exhibited an increased tanδvalue with decreased viscous and elastic moduli.There is a non-additive effect between PS and WS,which should be responsible for their difference between experimental and theoretical values.These findings could provide a new direction for understanding the compatibility interactions between different starches,and provide a theoretical guidance for the development of PS-based foods with desirable properties.展开更多
Daytime star images captured by dedicated near-space star sensors are characterized by short exposures,high noise,and low Signal-to-Noise Ratios(SNRs).Such imaging is also affected by atmospheric turbulence,causing op...Daytime star images captured by dedicated near-space star sensors are characterized by short exposures,high noise,and low Signal-to-Noise Ratios(SNRs).Such imaging is also affected by atmospheric turbulence,causing optical phenomena,such as scintillation,distortion,and jitter.This causes difficulty in recording high-precision star images during the daytime.This study proposes an adaptive star point extraction method based on dynamically predicting stars'positions.First,it predicts the approximate position of stars based on the star catalog,sensor attitude,observation time,and other information,improving the extraction accuracy.Second,it employs a regional SNR sorting method that adaptively selects star images with higher SNRs,suppressing the scintillation effect and enhancing the SNR of star images.Third,depending on the star's motion trajectory characteristics on the image plane,it utilizes the centroid smoothing method for extraction,thus overcoming the impact of star drift.Field experiments demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively overcome star scintillation,drift,and irregular imaging caused by atmospheric turbulence,achieving a 100%success rate.Moreover,the extraction accuracy improves by more than 80%compared to traditional adaptive methods,attaining a value of 0.05 pixels(0.5"),thereby meeting the requirements of daytime astronomical attitude determination and positioning.展开更多
Accurate fingertip detection is critical for translating hand gestures into actionable commands in vision-based human‒computer interaction(HCI)systems.However,challenges such as complex backgrounds,dynamic hand postur...Accurate fingertip detection is critical for translating hand gestures into actionable commands in vision-based human‒computer interaction(HCI)systems.However,challenges such as complex backgrounds,dynamic hand postures,and real-time processing constraints hinder reliable detection.This paper introduces a robust framework integrating three key innovations:(1)an adaptive Gaussian mixture model(GMM)enhanced with neighborhood pixel connectivity for precise motion extraction;(2)a weighted YCbCr color-space shadow removal algorithm to eliminate false positives;and(3)a centroid distance method refined with circularity constraints for accurate fingertip localization.Extensive experiments demonstrate a recognition accuracy of 97.26%across diverse scenarios,including varying illuminations,occlusions,and hand rotations.The algorithm processes each frame in 23.43 ms on average,satisfying real-time requirements.Comparative evaluations against state-of-the-art methods reveal significant improvements in precision(8.3%),recall(6.1%),and F-measure(7.8%).This work advances HCI applications such as virtual keyboards,gesture-controlled interfaces,and augmented reality systems.展开更多
To improve the accuracy of indoor localization methods with channel state information(CSI)images,a localization method that used CSI images from selected multiple access points(APs)was proposed.The method had an off-l...To improve the accuracy of indoor localization methods with channel state information(CSI)images,a localization method that used CSI images from selected multiple access points(APs)was proposed.The method had an off-line phase and an on-line phase.In the off-line phase,three APs were selected from the four APs in the localization area based on the received signal strength indication(RSSI).Next,CSI data was collected from the three selected APs using a commercial Intel 5300 network interface card.A single-channel subimage was constructed for each selected AP by combining the amplitude information from different antennas and the phase difference information between neighboring antennas.These sub-images were then merged to form a three-channel RGB image,which was subsequently fed into the convolutional neural network(CNN)for training.The CNN model was saved upon completion of training.In the on-line phase,the CSI data from the target device was collected,converted into images using the same process as in the off-line phase,and fed into the well-trained CNN model.Finally,the real position of the target device was estimated using a weighted centroid algorithm based on the model’s output probabilities.The proposed method was validated in indoor environments using two datasets,achieving good localization accuracy.展开更多
Understanding the ecological evolution is of great significance in addressing the impacts of climate change and human activities.However,the ecological evolution and its drivers remain inadequately explored in arid an...Understanding the ecological evolution is of great significance in addressing the impacts of climate change and human activities.However,the ecological evolution and its drivers remain inadequately explored in arid and semi-arid areas.This study took the Helan Mountain,a typical arid and semi-arid area in China,as the study area.By adopting an Enhanced Remote Sensing Ecological Index(ERSEI)that integrates the habitat quality(HQ)index with the Remote Sensing Ecological Index(RSEI),we quantified the ecological environment quality of the Helan Mountain during 2010-2022 and analyzed the driving factors behind the changes.Principal Component Analysis(PCA)was used to validate the composite ERSEI,enabling the extraction of key features and the reduction of redundant information.The results showed that the contributions of first principal component(PC1)for ERSEI and RSEI were 80.23%and 78.72%,respectively,indicating that the ERSEI can provide higher precision and more details than the RSEI in assessing ecological environment quality.Temporally,the ERSEI in the Helan Mountain exhibited an initial decline followed by an increase from 2010 to 2022,with the average value of ERSEI ranging between 0.298 and 0.346.Spatially,the ERSEI showed a trend of being higher in the southwest and lower in the northeast,with high-quality ecological environments mainly concentrated in the western foothills at higher altitudes.The centroid of ERSEI shifted northeastward toward Helan County from 2010 to 2022.Temperature and digital elevation model(DEM)emerged as the primary drivers of ERSEI changes.This study highlights the necessity of using comprehensive monitoring tools to guide policy-making and conservation strategies,ensuring the resilience of fragile ecosystems in the face of ongoing climatic and anthropogenic pressures.The findings offer valuable insights for the sustainable management and conservation in arid and semi-arid ecosystems.展开更多

文摘Most existing applications of centroidal Voronoi tessellations(CVTs) lack consideration of the length of the cluster boundaries.In this paper we propose a new model and algorithms to produce segmentations which would minimize the total energy—a sum of the classic CVT energy and the weighted length of cluster boundaries.To distinguish it with the classic CVTs,we call it an Edge-Weighted CVT(EWCVT).The concept of EWCVT is expected to build a mathematical base for all CVT related data classifications with requirement of smoothness of the cluster boundaries.The EWCVT method is easy in implementation,fast in computation,and natural for any number of clusters.

文摘Compliance motion and footstep adjustment are active balance control strategies from learning human subconscious behaviors.The force estimation without direct end-actuator force measurement and the optimal footsteps based on complex analytical calculation are still challenging tasks for elementary and kid-size position-controlled robots.In this paper,an online compliant controller with Gravity Projection Observer(GPO),which can express the external force condition of perturbations by the estimated Projection of Gravity(PoG)with estimation covariance,is proposed for the realization of disturbance absorption,with which the robustness of the humanoid contact with environments can be maintained.The fuzzy footstep planner based on capturability analysis is proposed,and the Model Predictive Control(MPC)is applied to generate the desired steps.The fuzzification rules are well-designed and give the corresponding control output responding to complex and changeable external disturbances.To validate the presented methods,a series of experiments on a real humanoid robot are conducted.The results verify the effectiveness of the proposed balance control framework.

文摘This paper considers how to use a group of robots to sense and control a diffusion process.The diffusion process is modeled by a partial differential equation (PDE),which is a both spatially and temporally variant system.The robots can serve as mobile sensors,actuators,or both.Centroidal Voronoi Tessellations based coverage control algorithm is proposed for the cooperative sensing task.For the diffusion control problem,this paper considers spraying control via a group of networked mobile robots equipped with chemical neutralizers,known as smart mobile sprayers or actuators,in a domain of interest having static mesh sensor network for concentration sensing.This paper also introduces the information sharing and consensus strategy when using centroidal Voronoi tessellations algorithm to control a diffusion process.The information is shared not only on where to spray but also on how much to spray among the mobile actuators.Benefits from using CVT and information consensus seeking for sensing and control of a diffusion process are demonstrated in simulation results.

文摘Storm surge is often the marine disaster that poses the greatest threat to life and property in coastal areas.Accurate and timely issuance of storm surge warnings to take appropriate countermeasures is an important means to reduce storm surge-related losses.Storm surge numerical models are important for storm surge forecasting.To further improve the performance of the storm surge forecast models,we developed a numerical storm surge forecast model based on an unstructured spherical centroidal Voronoi tessellation(SCVT)grid.The model is based on shallow water equations in vector-invariant form,and is discretized by Arakawa C grid.The SCVT grid can not only better describe the coastline information but also avoid rigid transitions,and it has a better global consistency by generating high-resolution grids in the key areas through transition refinement.In addition,the simulation speed of the model is accelerated by using the openACC-based GPU acceleration technology to meet the timeliness requirements of operational ensemble forecast.It only takes 37 s to simulate a day in the coastal waters of China.The newly developed storm surge model was applied to simulate typhoon-induced storm surges in the coastal waters of China.The hindcast experiments on the selected representative typhoon-induced storm surge processes indicate that the model can reasonably simulate the distribution characteristics of storm surges.The simulated maximum storm surges and their occurrence times are consistent with the observed data at the representative tide gauge stations,and the mean absolute errors are 3.5 cm and 0.6 h respectively,showing high accuracy and application prospects.
文摘We tackle the problem of constructing 2D centroidal Voronoi tessellations with constraints through an efficient and robust construction of bounded Voronoi diagrams, the pseudo-dual of the constrained Delaunay triangulation.We exploit the fact that the cells of the bounded Voronoi diagram can be obtained by clipping the ordinary ones against the constrained Delaunay edges.The clipping itself is efficiently computed by identifying for each constrained edge the(connected) set of triangles whose dual Voronoi vertices are hidden by the constraint.The resulting construction is amenable to Lloyd relaxation so as to obtain a centroidal tessellation with constraints.

文摘Centroidal Voronoi tessellations(CVTs) have become a useful tool in many applications ranging from geometric modeling,image and data analysis,and numerical partial differential equations,to problems in physics,astrophysics,chemistry,and biology. In this paper,we briefly review the CVT concept and a few of its generalizations and well-known properties.We then present an overview of recent advances in both mathematical and computational studies and in practical applications of CVTs.Whenever possible,we point out some outstanding issues that still need investigating.

文摘We present a novel adaptive finite element method(AFEM)for elliptic equations which is based upon the Centroidal Voronoi Tessellation(CVT)and superconvergent gradient recovery.The constructions of CVT and its dual Centroidal Voronoi Delaunay Triangulation(CVDT)are facilitated by a localized Lloyd iteration to produce almost equilateral two dimensional meshes.Working with finite element solutions on such high quality triangulations,superconvergent recovery methods become particularly effective so that asymptotically exact a posteriori error estimations can be obtained.Through a seamless integration of these techniques,a convergent adaptive procedure is developed.As demonstrated by the numerical examples,the new AFEM is capable of solving a variety of model problems and has great potential in practical applications.
文摘Evaluating the adversarial robustness of classification algorithms in machine learning is a crucial domain.However,current methods lack measurable and interpretable metrics.To address this issue,this paper introduces a visual evaluation index named confidence centroid skewing quadrilateral,which is based on a classification confidence-based confusion matrix,offering a quantitative and visual comparison of the adversarial robustness among different classification algorithms,and enhances intuitiveness and interpretability of attack impacts.We first conduct a validity test and sensitive analysis of the method.Then,prove its effectiveness through the experiments of five classification algorithms including artificial neural network(ANN),logistic regression(LR),support vector machine(SVM),convolutional neural network(CNN)and transformer against three adversarial attacks such as fast gradient sign method(FGSM),DeepFool,and projected gradient descent(PGD)attack.

文摘The centroid coordinate serves as a critical control parameter in motion systems,including aircraft,missiles,rockets,and drones,directly influencing their motion dynamics and control performance.Traditional methods for centroid measurement often necessitate custom equipment and specialized positioning devices,leading to high costs and limited accuracy.Here,we present a centroid measurement method that integrates 3D scanning technology,enabling accurate measurement of centroid across various types of objects without the need for specialized positioning fixtures.A theoretical framework for centroid measurement was established,which combined the principle of the multi-point weighing method with 3D scanning technology.The measurement accuracy was evaluated using a designed standard component.Experimental results demonstrate that the discrepancies between the theoretical and the measured centroid of a standard component with various materials and complex shapes in the X,Y,and Z directions are 0.003 mm,0.009 mm,and 0.105 mm,respectively,yielding a spatial deviation of 0.106 mm.Qualitative verification was conducted through experimental validation of three distinct types.They confirmed the reliability of the proposed method,which allowed for accurate centroid measurements of various products without requiring positioning fixtures.This advancement significantly broadened the applicability and scope of centroid measurement devices,offering new theoretical insights and methodologies for the measurement of complex parts and systems.

文摘The accuracy of spot centroid positioning has a significant impact on the tracking accuracy of the system and the stability of the laser link construction.In satellite laser communication systems,the use of short-wave infrared wavelengths as beacon light can reduce atmospheric absorption and signal attenuation.However,there are strong non-uniformity and blind pixels in the short-wave infrared image,which makes the image distorted and leads to the decrease of spot centroid positioning accuracy.Therefore,the high-precision localization of the spot centroid of the short-wave infrared images is of great research significance.A high-precision spot centroid positioning model for short-wave infrared is proposed to correct for non-uniformity and blind pixels in short-wave infrared images and quantify the localization errors caused by the two,further model-based localization error simulations are performed,and a novel spot centroid positioning payload for satellite laser communications has been designed using the latest 640×512 planar array InGaAs shortwave infrared detector.The experimental results show that the non-uniformity of the corrected image is reduced from 7%to 0.6%,the blind pixels rejection rate reaches 100%,the frame rate can be up to 2000 Hz,and the spot centroid localization accuracy is as high as 0.1 pixel point,which realizes high-precision spot centroid localization of high-frame-frequency short-wave infrared images.

文摘The precise acquisition of the quality characteristic parameters of large aircraft directly affects its performance characteristics.For large aircrafts such as missiles and rockets with internal fillings,traditional measurement methods involving large-angle tilting or rotation may pose safety risks.In light of the characteristics of large aircraft and in combination with existing measurement methods,we design a mass and centroid measurement method based on four-point support and small-angle tilting,and develop a set of mass and centroid testing system.This method obtains the intersection point of the gravity action line in the product coordinate system through coordinate transformation in two postures,thereby obtaining the three-dimensional centroid of the aircraft.We first elaborate on the principle of this method in detail,then introduce the composition of the equipment,and analyze the structural stress of key components.Finally,experimental verification and uncertainty analysis are carried out.Experimental verification shows that the maximum deviation of the mass measurement accuracy is less than 0.02%,the centroid measurement accuracy in the X direction is±0.15 mm,in the Y direction it is±0.21 mm,and in the Z direction it is±0.19 mm.

文摘With the promotion of potatoes as a staple food,the challenge lies in integrating them into traditional staple grain-based diets.As the primary component of grains,starch plays a crucial role,and its interactions with other heterogeneous starches could significantly influence their functional properties.Therefore,this study aimed to explore the role of substitution ratio(SR,0–100%)of potato starch(PS)in the compatibility with wheat starch(WS)from the perspective of microstructure and physicochemical characteristics using the simplex-centroid method.Results of scaning electron microscopy(SEM)revealed the network structure in SR 30%of PS possessed the smallest size and the most compact gel structure.A higher SR of PS increased the solubility and swelling power of the blended WS and improved its freeze-thaw stability.Peak viscosity and gel hardness of the blended WS exhibited an increasing trend as the SR of PS increased.With the increasing SR of PS,the blended WS exhibited an increased tanδvalue with decreased viscous and elastic moduli.There is a non-additive effect between PS and WS,which should be responsible for their difference between experimental and theoretical values.These findings could provide a new direction for understanding the compatibility interactions between different starches,and provide a theoretical guidance for the development of PS-based foods with desirable properties.

文摘Daytime star images captured by dedicated near-space star sensors are characterized by short exposures,high noise,and low Signal-to-Noise Ratios(SNRs).Such imaging is also affected by atmospheric turbulence,causing optical phenomena,such as scintillation,distortion,and jitter.This causes difficulty in recording high-precision star images during the daytime.This study proposes an adaptive star point extraction method based on dynamically predicting stars'positions.First,it predicts the approximate position of stars based on the star catalog,sensor attitude,observation time,and other information,improving the extraction accuracy.Second,it employs a regional SNR sorting method that adaptively selects star images with higher SNRs,suppressing the scintillation effect and enhancing the SNR of star images.Third,depending on the star's motion trajectory characteristics on the image plane,it utilizes the centroid smoothing method for extraction,thus overcoming the impact of star drift.Field experiments demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively overcome star scintillation,drift,and irregular imaging caused by atmospheric turbulence,achieving a 100%success rate.Moreover,the extraction accuracy improves by more than 80%compared to traditional adaptive methods,attaining a value of 0.05 pixels(0.5"),thereby meeting the requirements of daytime astronomical attitude determination and positioning.

文摘Accurate fingertip detection is critical for translating hand gestures into actionable commands in vision-based human‒computer interaction(HCI)systems.However,challenges such as complex backgrounds,dynamic hand postures,and real-time processing constraints hinder reliable detection.This paper introduces a robust framework integrating three key innovations:(1)an adaptive Gaussian mixture model(GMM)enhanced with neighborhood pixel connectivity for precise motion extraction;(2)a weighted YCbCr color-space shadow removal algorithm to eliminate false positives;and(3)a centroid distance method refined with circularity constraints for accurate fingertip localization.Extensive experiments demonstrate a recognition accuracy of 97.26%across diverse scenarios,including varying illuminations,occlusions,and hand rotations.The algorithm processes each frame in 23.43 ms on average,satisfying real-time requirements.Comparative evaluations against state-of-the-art methods reveal significant improvements in precision(8.3%),recall(6.1%),and F-measure(7.8%).This work advances HCI applications such as virtual keyboards,gesture-controlled interfaces,and augmented reality systems.

文摘To improve the accuracy of indoor localization methods with channel state information(CSI)images,a localization method that used CSI images from selected multiple access points(APs)was proposed.The method had an off-line phase and an on-line phase.In the off-line phase,three APs were selected from the four APs in the localization area based on the received signal strength indication(RSSI).Next,CSI data was collected from the three selected APs using a commercial Intel 5300 network interface card.A single-channel subimage was constructed for each selected AP by combining the amplitude information from different antennas and the phase difference information between neighboring antennas.These sub-images were then merged to form a three-channel RGB image,which was subsequently fed into the convolutional neural network(CNN)for training.The CNN model was saved upon completion of training.In the on-line phase,the CSI data from the target device was collected,converted into images using the same process as in the off-line phase,and fed into the well-trained CNN model.Finally,the real position of the target device was estimated using a weighted centroid algorithm based on the model’s output probabilities.The proposed method was validated in indoor environments using two datasets,achieving good localization accuracy.

文摘Understanding the ecological evolution is of great significance in addressing the impacts of climate change and human activities.However,the ecological evolution and its drivers remain inadequately explored in arid and semi-arid areas.This study took the Helan Mountain,a typical arid and semi-arid area in China,as the study area.By adopting an Enhanced Remote Sensing Ecological Index(ERSEI)that integrates the habitat quality(HQ)index with the Remote Sensing Ecological Index(RSEI),we quantified the ecological environment quality of the Helan Mountain during 2010-2022 and analyzed the driving factors behind the changes.Principal Component Analysis(PCA)was used to validate the composite ERSEI,enabling the extraction of key features and the reduction of redundant information.The results showed that the contributions of first principal component(PC1)for ERSEI and RSEI were 80.23%and 78.72%,respectively,indicating that the ERSEI can provide higher precision and more details than the RSEI in assessing ecological environment quality.Temporally,the ERSEI in the Helan Mountain exhibited an initial decline followed by an increase from 2010 to 2022,with the average value of ERSEI ranging between 0.298 and 0.346.Spatially,the ERSEI showed a trend of being higher in the southwest and lower in the northeast,with high-quality ecological environments mainly concentrated in the western foothills at higher altitudes.The centroid of ERSEI shifted northeastward toward Helan County from 2010 to 2022.Temperature and digital elevation model(DEM)emerged as the primary drivers of ERSEI changes.This study highlights the necessity of using comprehensive monitoring tools to guide policy-making and conservation strategies,ensuring the resilience of fragile ecosystems in the face of ongoing climatic and anthropogenic pressures.The findings offer valuable insights for the sustainable management and conservation in arid and semi-arid ecosystems.
