We present a new exactly solvable quantum problem for which the Schrtidinger equation allows for separation of variables in oblate spheroidal coordinates. Namely, this is the quantum mechanical two-Coulomb-center problem for the case of an imaginary intercenter parameter and complex conjugate charges are considered. Since the potential is defined by the two-sheeted mapping whose singularities are concentrated on a circle rather than at separate points, there arise additional possibilities in the choice of boundary conditions. A detailed classification of the various types of boundary-value problems is given. The quasi-radial equation leads to a new type of boundary value problem which has never been considered before. Results of the numerical calculations, which allow conclusions to be drawn about the structure of the energy spectrum, are shown. Possible physical applications are discussed. 展开更多

The necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the bi-center are obtained. All possible first integrals are given. The p-center problem consists of choosing a subset of vertices in an undirected graph as facilities in order to minimize the maximum distance between a client and its closest facility. This paper presents a greedy randomized adaptive search procedure with path-relinking (GRASP/PR) algorithm for the p-center problem, which combines both GRASP and path-relinking. Each iteration of GRASP/PR consists of the construction of a randomized greedy solution, followed by a tabu search procedure. The resulting solution is combined with one of the elite solutions by path-relinking, which consists in exploring trajectories that connect high-quality solutions. Experiments show that GRASP/PR is competitive with the state-of-the-art algorithms in the literature in terms of both solution quality and computational efficiency. Specifically, it virtually improves the previous best known results for 10 out of 40 large instances while matching the best known results for others. 展开更多

k-center问题是设施选址的基础问题,同样是NP难问题,在分配、紧急服务等领域也有着实际的应用。随着问题规模的扩大,原有的算法已不再适用,需要进一步优化或者改进。为了找到求解该问题的高效算法,对现有算法进行研究。对各类求解k-cen... k-center问题是设施选址的基础问题,同样是NP难问题,在分配、紧急服务等领域也有着实际的应用。随着问题规模的扩大,原有的算法已不再适用,需要进一步优化或者改进。为了找到求解该问题的高效算法,对现有算法进行研究。对各类求解k-center问题的算法进行梳理,将求解算法划分为精确算法、启发式算法、元启发式算法、近似算法等,从算法原理、改进思路、性能和精度等方面进行对比综述。精确算法在求解小规模k-center问题时可在多项式时间内得到最优解,但是算法效率低,不适用于大规模问题;启发式算法可以在多项式时间内给出相对最优解,但是没有理论保证,无法衡量与最优解的关系;元启发式算法可对目前存在的智能优化算法进行改进,给出相对最优解,但是解的质量无法保证;利用近似算法得到的解具有近似比保证,有较大的理论研究价值,但是实用价值较弱。目前求解k-center问题的元启发式算法已取得一定的研究成果,但是在求解时间、求解规模、算法效率等方面仍待突破,这将是未来k-center问题的研究重点。 展开更多

In this paper,we present an extrapolated parallel subgradient projection method with the centering technique for the convex feasibility problem,the algorithm improves the convergence by reason of using centering techniques which reduce the oscillation of the corresponding sequence.To prove the convergence in a simply way,we transmit the parallel algorithm in the original space to a sequential one in a newly constructed product space.Thus,the convergence of the parallel algorithm is derived with the help of the sequential one under some suitable conditions.Numerical results show that the new algorithm has better convergence than the existing algorithms. 展开更多

平面p-center问题是经典的NP难题,所以寻找高效的近似求解算法是解决实际应用问题时的基本需求。在人工蜂群算法的基础上,通过引入遗传算法的交叉和变异算子,改进局部解的搜索策略与搜索能力,即根据给定概率对当前解做交叉或变异运算,... 平面p-center问题是经典的NP难题,所以寻找高效的近似求解算法是解决实际应用问题时的基本需求。在人工蜂群算法的基础上,通过引入遗传算法的交叉和变异算子,改进局部解的搜索策略与搜索能力,即根据给定概率对当前解做交叉或变异运算,以获得更好的局部解,进而提出BeeGenP启发式求解算法,用于求解平面离散型p-center问题。通过构造测试数据,对所设计的算法进行了有效性验证,实验结果表明,BeeGenP算法与现有的M-ABC算法相比,算法的局部解搜索能力得到了提升,增加了搜索空间的多样性,在相同迭代次数约束下所得到的解的质量更高,而趋近收敛于最优解时的迭代次数则有较大幅度的降低。 展开更多

Improved semi-analytical computation of center manifolds near collinear libration points

In the framework of the circular restricted three-body problem, the center manifolds associated with collinear libration points contain all the bounded orbits moving around these points. Semianalytical computation of the center manifolds and the associated canonical transformation are valuable tools for exploring the design space of libration point missions. This paper deals with the refinement of reduction to the center manifold procedure. In order to reduce the amount of calculation needed and avoid repetitive computation of the Poisson bracket, a modified method is presented. By using a polynomial optimization technique, the coordinate transformation is conducted more efficiently. In addition, an alternative way to do the canonical coordinate transformation is discussed, which complements the classical approach. Numerical simulation confirms that more accurate and efficient numerical exploration of the center manifold is made possible by using the refined method. 展开更多
