BACKGROUND Neonatal screening(NS)is a public health policy to identify genetic pathologies such as cystic fibrosis(CF),sickle cell disease,and other diseases.Sickle cell disea-se is the comprehensive term for a group ...BACKGROUND Neonatal screening(NS)is a public health policy to identify genetic pathologies such as cystic fibrosis(CF),sickle cell disease,and other diseases.Sickle cell disea-se is the comprehensive term for a group of hemoglobinopathies characterized by the presence of hemoglobin S.CF is an autosomal recessive multisystemic disease with pathophysiology involving deleterious mutations in the transmembrane re-gulatory gene that encodes a protein that regulates the activity of chloride and sodium channels in the cell surface epithelium.NS is crucial for early diagnosis and management,which ensures a better quality of life.AIM To report a case of the coexistence of sickle cell anemia(SCA)and CF and perform an integrative literature review.METHODS This is an observational study and a review of the literature focusing on two rare genetic pathologies identified simultaneously in NS from the perspective of a clinical case.The authors identified only 5 cases of SCA associated with CF.No clinical trials or review articles were identified considering the rarity of the coexistence of these two pathologies.RESULTS Herein,the authors reported the case of a girl who after undergoing NS on day 8 of life was diagnosed with SCA with an alteration in the dosage of immunoreactive trypsin.The diagnosis of CF was confirmed by the Coulometry Sweat Test.The rarity of the co-occurrence of these two severe genetic pathologies(CF and SCA)is a challenge for medical science.CONCLUSION This study adds to the few case reports present in the literature that highlight the identification of two severe diseases via NS.展开更多

Addressing the environmental issues of traditional vanadium extraction methods from vanadium-bearing shale,a highly efficient and clean suspension oxidation roasting-curing-leaching process was proposed and semi-indus...Addressing the environmental issues of traditional vanadium extraction methods from vanadium-bearing shale,a highly efficient and clean suspension oxidation roasting-curing-leaching process was proposed and semi-industrial trials were conducted.Vanadium in raw ore mainly exists in sericite,roscoelite,and limonite,predominantly in the forms of V(Ⅲ)and V(Ⅳ).Under the conditions of a feed rate of 30 kg/h,an air flow rate of 28.0 m^(3)/h,an O_(2) flow rate of 4.0 m^(3)/h,and a temperature of 900℃ in both the suspension furnace and fluidized reactor,the vanadium-bearing mica underwent dehydroxylation and transformed into illite-montmorillonite.These changes disrupted the crystal structure of mica,facilitating vanadium extraction.Compared to direct acid leaching,curing-leaching demonstrates better performance in vanadium extraction.Under the conditions of curing temperature of 130℃,acid dosage of 40 wt.%,curing time of 6 h,and leaching time of 3 h,a V_(2)O_(5) leaching efficiency of 83.92% was achieved.展开更多
A cased well model consists of a coaxial tank and casing,which houses coaxially installed transmitting and receiving coils.The transmitting coil is excited by the current produced by the transmitting circuit,and trans...A cased well model consists of a coaxial tank and casing,which houses coaxially installed transmitting and receiving coils.The transmitting coil is excited by the current produced by the transmitting circuit,and transient electromagnetic responses occur in the casing,including direct coupling and casing responses.As the range between the transmitting and receiving coils increases,direct coupling responses decay rapidly,are less than the casing response at 0.3 m,and disappear at 0.7 m.By contrast,a casing response increases rapidly and then declines slowly after reaching a peak and changes little within a specifi c range.The peak decreases slowly with range.The continuous addition of water to the tank causes slight changes in transient electromagnetic responses,so the diff erence which are subtracted from the response without water is used.Moreover,the diff erences at the time of rapid increase in response and the time of rapid decrease in response are large,forming a peak and a trough.Given that the conductivity of water in a full tank changes after the addition of salt,the diff erence in the peak is linear with the increase in the conductivity of water.This result provides an experimental basis for the design of a transient electromagnetic logging instrument that measures the conductivity of formation in cased well.展开更多
BACKGROUND Sex education was introduced early in foreign countries.For example,there is a more systematic sex education system abroad,which can better achieve the popularization of sex education.China's sex educat...BACKGROUND Sex education was introduced early in foreign countries.For example,there is a more systematic sex education system abroad,which can better achieve the popularization of sex education.China's sex education started relatively late,yet there are many problems in the development of sex education in China;for example,college students lack knowledge of sexuality.AIM To explore the perception of sex education among medical college students.METHODS Students majoring in medicine in a medical school were selected as the survey subjects.Anonymous online questionnaires were used to conduct the survey,and the results were analyzed using GraphPad Prism,SPSS,Microsoft Excel,and other software.The questionnaire was administered to understand the source of sexual knowledge,sexual responsibility,mastery of sexual knowledge,and distress caused by sexual problems.RESULTS Most students majoring in medicine had no formal sex education,lacked sexual knowledge,or had a biased understanding of sexual responsibility.This study analyzed future research trends in sex education based on relevant achievements in the Chinese context and abroad to further realize the practical significance and value of sex education popularization in China and provide recommendations for parents and schools at different levels.CONCLUSION Sex education should be conducted among college students,and medical colleges and universities should strengthen scientific sex education.展开更多
BACKGROUND Intraosseous lipoma of bone is one of the rarest benign bone tumors,which often involves the metaphysis of long tubular bones,especially the femur,tibia,fibula,and calcaneus.Bone lipoma can be characterized...BACKGROUND Intraosseous lipoma of bone is one of the rarest benign bone tumors,which often involves the metaphysis of long tubular bones,especially the femur,tibia,fibula,and calcaneus.Bone lipoma can be characterized by chronic dull pain but can also be asymptomatic most of the time.As a result,it is less likely to attract people’s attention and is occasionally diagnosed through imaging examination during routine physical health check-up.CASE SUMMARY We describe a clinical case of intraosseous lipoma in a 21-year-old patient with chronic pain in the left lower limb for four years without any significant physical findings apart from the minimal swelling and local tenderness over the median ankle.Computerized tomography suggested the possibility of a lipoma on the left distal tibia,but the pathological examination could make a definite diagnosis.The intraosseous lipoma of the left distal tibia was treated by surgical curettage,bone graft,and internal fixation with steel plate,since the conservative treatment is often ineffective.Postoperatively,the patient made an uneventful recovery and was able to do daily activities without any restrictions.In addition,local recur-rence of the intraosseous lipoma was not reported in subsequent reexamination.CONCLUSION Bone lipoma is very rare and often exhibits no characteristic clinical manifestation.The confirmative diagnosis of lipoma largely relies on a combination of imageo-logy and biopsy.Surgical intervention is often recommended as a conventional therapy for bone lipoma.Postoperatively,the patient makes an uneventful reco-very with a good prognosis,and the local recurrence of the tumor is also a low probability event.展开更多

Background Over the last few years,the rapid advancement of technology has led to the development of many approaches to digitalization.In this respect,metaverse provides 3D persistent virtual environments that can be ...Background Over the last few years,the rapid advancement of technology has led to the development of many approaches to digitalization.In this respect,metaverse provides 3D persistent virtual environments that can be used to access digital content,meet virtually,and perform several professional and leisure tasks.Among the numerous technologies supporting the metaverse,immersive Virtual Reality(VR)plays a primary role and offers highly interactive social experiences.Despite growing interest in this area,there are no clear design guidelines for creating environments tailored to the metaverse.Methods This study seeks to advance research in this area by moving from state-of-the-art studies on the design of immersive virtual environments in the context of metaverse and proposing how to integrate cutting-edge technologies within this context.Specifically,the best practices were identified by i)analyzing literature studies focused on human behavior in immersive virtual environments,ii)extracting common features of existing social VR platforms,and iii)conducting interviews with experts in a specific application domain.Specifically,this study considered the creation of a new virtual environment for MetaLibrary,a VR-based social platform aimed at integrating public libraries into metaverse.Several implementation challenges and additional requirements have been identified for the development of virtual environments(VEs).These elements were considered in the selection of specific cutting-edge technologies and their integration into the development process.A user study was also conducted to investigate some design aspects(namely lighting conditions and richness of the scene layout)for which deriving clear indications from the above analysis was not possible because different alternative configurations could be chosen.Results The work reported in this paper seeks to bridge the gap between existing VR platforms and related literature in the field,on the one hand,and requirements regarding immersive virtual environments for the metaverse,on the other hand,by reporting a set of best practices which were used to build a social virtual environment that meets users'expectations and needs.Conclusions Results suggest that carefully designed virtual environments can positively affect user experience and interaction within metaverse.The insights gained from this study offer valuable cues for developing immersive virtual environments for the metaverse to deliver more effective and engaging experiences.展开更多
Objective:This study aimed to determine the correlation between the incidence of acute mountain sickness(AMS)and the body constitution of Tibetan medicine and other relevant factors to provide a reference for the pred...Objective:This study aimed to determine the correlation between the incidence of acute mountain sickness(AMS)and the body constitution of Tibetan medicine and other relevant factors to provide a reference for the prediction and prevention of AMS.Methods:A caseecontrol study was conducted to recruit participants who experienced or did not experience AMS after entering a plateau.The data was collected through online questionnaires for convenient sampling.Demographic characteristics,body constitution,and related states or behaviors were investigated before and after entering the plateau.The participants were divided into case and control groups based on the incidence of AMS.The distributions of relevant factors were compared.Binary logistic regression analysis was used to screen for risk and protective factors.Results:There were 167 participants who completed the questionnaire.A total of 54 cases were excluded,and 113 participants were included,including 52 in the case group and 61 in the control group.In the case group,37,13,and 2 patients had mild,moderate,and severe AMS,respectively.In terms of the Tibetan medicine constitution,the case group had the highest proportion of Bad-rlung(25.0%)and Rlung types(21.2%),whereas the control group had the highest proportion of Bad-rlung(29.5%)and Mkhrisbad types(24.6%).There was no significant difference in the distribution of the constitutional types between the two groups.Insomnia or insufficient sleep within the week prior to entering the plateau and fatigue after arrival were risk factors for AMS,with odds ratios(OR)and 95%confidence intervals(CI)of 5.012(1.871e13.426)and 3.387(1.393e8.236),respectively.A history of short-term plateau travel is a protective factor for AMS(OR:0.32,95%CI:0.129 to 0.792).Conclusion:Insomnia or lack of sleep before ascending to a plateau and fatigue after arrival are risk factors for AMS.The Rlung constitution might be related to the incidence of AMS;however,this still needs to be verified in large-sample observational studies.The risk factors identified in this study can provide a reference for the prevention practice and research of AMS.展开更多

Few studies have explored the acute effects of fine particulate matter(PM_(2.5))constituents on respiratory diseases(RDs),particularly across a broad spectrum of RD subtypes.We analyzed the associations between PM_(2....Few studies have explored the acute effects of fine particulate matter(PM_(2.5))constituents on respiratory diseases(RDs),particularly across a broad spectrum of RD subtypes.We analyzed the associations between PM_(2.5) and its five major constituents[organic matter(OM),black carbon(BC),sulfate(SO_(4)^(2−)),nitrate(NO_(3)^(−)),and ammonium(NH_(4)^(+))]and RDs(10 major categories and 35 specific)based on the hospitalization records from 153 hospitals in 20 provincial distractions from 2013 to 2020.We found that short-term exposure(lag 0−1)to PM_(2.5) constituents per interquartile range increase was associated with higher hospitalization risks for acute upper respiratory infections,influenza and pneumonia,other acute lower respiratory infections,chronic lower respiratory diseases,other diseases of the pleura,and other diseases of the respiratory system;the effect estimates were 2.45−2.99%,2.02−2.71%,2.98−3.62%,3.06−3.65%,3.22−4.52%,and 2.23−3.66%,respectively.Among 35 specific RDs,12 were significantly affected by PM_(2.5) and its constituents.Individuals aged>60 years were sensitive to PM_(2.5) constituent exposure.Our individual-level nationwide study provided a more comprehensive perspective on the associations between PM_(2.5) constituents and various major and specific RDs,highlighting the necessity of prioritizing targeted control strategies for key constituents to effectively mitigate the burden of RDs in China.展开更多

文摘Introductory courses in vocational education play a foundational role in orienting first-year students to their chosen major and initiating their professional formation.Such courses help newcomers establish a cognitive map of the discipline,plan learning pathways,and cultivate identification with the profession,while also serving as a vehicle for integrating ideological-political education.In practice,however,many programs face persistent challenges in textbook development,faculty capacity,curriculum content,and alignment with industry standards,which limit the effectiveness of these courses.With the rollout of national policies such as the Implementation Plan for National Vocational Education Reform,the urgency of strengthening the construction of introductory courses has become increasingly evident.Using the textbook Introduction to Virtual Reality Applications:Cognition,Skills,and Career as a core case,this paper analyzes innovative practices in writing philosophy,course design,school-enterprise collaboration,resource integration,ideological-political infusion,and practical outcomes.Building on this analysis,the paper proposes strategies for reforming introductory courses and building coherent textbook systems in vocational education so as to improve course quality and better support students’professional development.

文摘Coal bursts pose significant safety and operational challenges in deep mining environments,necessitating effective mitigation strategies to address high-stress concentrations and dynamic failure risks.This study evaluated the efficacy of hydraulic fracturing as a preconditioning tool at a longwall face of the Mengcun coal mine with strong coal bursts,Shaanxi Province.The program involved the systematic creation of a fracture network through high-pressure fluid injection,monitored via microseismic arrays,stress measurements,and hydrological sensors.Results demonstrated that hydraulic fracturing effectively redistributed in-situ stresses,reducing high-stress concentrations by up to 30%,lowering the frequency of high-energy microseismic events,and enhancing the stability of fractured zones.However,the presence of unfractured blind spots and interactions with pre-existing faults highlighted the need for optimized well placement and adaptive fracturing designs.These findings underscore the potential of hydraulic fracturing as a critical preconditioning tool in high-stress mining operations,which could provide a framework for improving safety and efficiency in similar geological and operational settings.

文摘As an important branch of traditional medicine,Zhuang Medicine is renowned for its unique prescriptions and techniques in clinical treatment,with significant therapeutic effects and widespread popularity.This article introduces Professor Fang Gang’s experience in treating obesity-type polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)with modified Zhuang Medicine Mao Xia Yin.Professor Fang Gang proposes that the etiology and pathogenesis of obesity-type polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)primarily stem from spleen deficiency,which impairs the transport of water and dampness.This dysfunction leads to the accumulation of dampness that transforms into phlegm.Over time,the stagnation of phlegm and dampness generates internal heat,resulting in the formation of“dampness toxin,”“phlegm toxin,”and“heat toxin.”These pathological toxins obstruct the circulation of Qi and blood,causing stasis and the emergence of“stasis toxin.”The buildup of these toxins ultimately blocks the three channels and two pathways,disrupting the harmony among the three Qi of heaven,earth,and man.This disharmony culminates in impaired uterine gland function.Therefore,the treatment mainly focuses on tonifying deficiency,detoxifying,and regulating Qi.
文摘BACKGROUND Neonatal screening(NS)is a public health policy to identify genetic pathologies such as cystic fibrosis(CF),sickle cell disease,and other diseases.Sickle cell disea-se is the comprehensive term for a group of hemoglobinopathies characterized by the presence of hemoglobin S.CF is an autosomal recessive multisystemic disease with pathophysiology involving deleterious mutations in the transmembrane re-gulatory gene that encodes a protein that regulates the activity of chloride and sodium channels in the cell surface epithelium.NS is crucial for early diagnosis and management,which ensures a better quality of life.AIM To report a case of the coexistence of sickle cell anemia(SCA)and CF and perform an integrative literature review.METHODS This is an observational study and a review of the literature focusing on two rare genetic pathologies identified simultaneously in NS from the perspective of a clinical case.The authors identified only 5 cases of SCA associated with CF.No clinical trials or review articles were identified considering the rarity of the coexistence of these two pathologies.RESULTS Herein,the authors reported the case of a girl who after undergoing NS on day 8 of life was diagnosed with SCA with an alteration in the dosage of immunoreactive trypsin.The diagnosis of CF was confirmed by the Coulometry Sweat Test.The rarity of the co-occurrence of these two severe genetic pathologies(CF and SCA)is a challenge for medical science.CONCLUSION This study adds to the few case reports present in the literature that highlight the identification of two severe diseases via NS.

文摘Addressing the environmental issues of traditional vanadium extraction methods from vanadium-bearing shale,a highly efficient and clean suspension oxidation roasting-curing-leaching process was proposed and semi-industrial trials were conducted.Vanadium in raw ore mainly exists in sericite,roscoelite,and limonite,predominantly in the forms of V(Ⅲ)and V(Ⅳ).Under the conditions of a feed rate of 30 kg/h,an air flow rate of 28.0 m^(3)/h,an O_(2) flow rate of 4.0 m^(3)/h,and a temperature of 900℃ in both the suspension furnace and fluidized reactor,the vanadium-bearing mica underwent dehydroxylation and transformed into illite-montmorillonite.These changes disrupted the crystal structure of mica,facilitating vanadium extraction.Compared to direct acid leaching,curing-leaching demonstrates better performance in vanadium extraction.Under the conditions of curing temperature of 130℃,acid dosage of 40 wt.%,curing time of 6 h,and leaching time of 3 h,a V_(2)O_(5) leaching efficiency of 83.92% was achieved.

文摘A cased well model consists of a coaxial tank and casing,which houses coaxially installed transmitting and receiving coils.The transmitting coil is excited by the current produced by the transmitting circuit,and transient electromagnetic responses occur in the casing,including direct coupling and casing responses.As the range between the transmitting and receiving coils increases,direct coupling responses decay rapidly,are less than the casing response at 0.3 m,and disappear at 0.7 m.By contrast,a casing response increases rapidly and then declines slowly after reaching a peak and changes little within a specifi c range.The peak decreases slowly with range.The continuous addition of water to the tank causes slight changes in transient electromagnetic responses,so the diff erence which are subtracted from the response without water is used.Moreover,the diff erences at the time of rapid increase in response and the time of rapid decrease in response are large,forming a peak and a trough.Given that the conductivity of water in a full tank changes after the addition of salt,the diff erence in the peak is linear with the increase in the conductivity of water.This result provides an experimental basis for the design of a transient electromagnetic logging instrument that measures the conductivity of formation in cased well.

文摘BACKGROUND Sex education was introduced early in foreign countries.For example,there is a more systematic sex education system abroad,which can better achieve the popularization of sex education.China's sex education started relatively late,yet there are many problems in the development of sex education in China;for example,college students lack knowledge of sexuality.AIM To explore the perception of sex education among medical college students.METHODS Students majoring in medicine in a medical school were selected as the survey subjects.Anonymous online questionnaires were used to conduct the survey,and the results were analyzed using GraphPad Prism,SPSS,Microsoft Excel,and other software.The questionnaire was administered to understand the source of sexual knowledge,sexual responsibility,mastery of sexual knowledge,and distress caused by sexual problems.RESULTS Most students majoring in medicine had no formal sex education,lacked sexual knowledge,or had a biased understanding of sexual responsibility.This study analyzed future research trends in sex education based on relevant achievements in the Chinese context and abroad to further realize the practical significance and value of sex education popularization in China and provide recommendations for parents and schools at different levels.CONCLUSION Sex education should be conducted among college students,and medical colleges and universities should strengthen scientific sex education.

文摘BACKGROUND Intraosseous lipoma of bone is one of the rarest benign bone tumors,which often involves the metaphysis of long tubular bones,especially the femur,tibia,fibula,and calcaneus.Bone lipoma can be characterized by chronic dull pain but can also be asymptomatic most of the time.As a result,it is less likely to attract people’s attention and is occasionally diagnosed through imaging examination during routine physical health check-up.CASE SUMMARY We describe a clinical case of intraosseous lipoma in a 21-year-old patient with chronic pain in the left lower limb for four years without any significant physical findings apart from the minimal swelling and local tenderness over the median ankle.Computerized tomography suggested the possibility of a lipoma on the left distal tibia,but the pathological examination could make a definite diagnosis.The intraosseous lipoma of the left distal tibia was treated by surgical curettage,bone graft,and internal fixation with steel plate,since the conservative treatment is often ineffective.Postoperatively,the patient made an uneventful recovery and was able to do daily activities without any restrictions.In addition,local recur-rence of the intraosseous lipoma was not reported in subsequent reexamination.CONCLUSION Bone lipoma is very rare and often exhibits no characteristic clinical manifestation.The confirmative diagnosis of lipoma largely relies on a combination of imageo-logy and biopsy.Surgical intervention is often recommended as a conventional therapy for bone lipoma.Postoperatively,the patient makes an uneventful reco-very with a good prognosis,and the local recurrence of the tumor is also a low probability event.

文摘Since its publication in 1887,Arthur Conan Doyle’s A Study in Scarlet has become one of the most influential works in detective fiction worldwide,renowned for its innovative narrative techniques,compelling plot,and deep engagement with themes of justice and morality.The novel has seen 311 Chinese publications,among which two translations stand out:Xieluoke Qian Kaichan translated by Lin Shu and Wei Yi in late Qing dynasty in 1914 and Xuezi Yanjiu,transalted by Ding Zhonghu and Yuan Dihua in the Reform and Opening-up era in 1981.This study examines these two significant Chinese translations from a narrative theory perspective.Lin’s version employs classical allusions and imaginative language,frequently uses internal focalization to enhance reader involvement,incorporates rhetorical embellishments,and reinterprets speeches through adaptation to intensify emotional and plot dynamics.In contrast,Din’s translation adopts vernacular language complemented by explanatory notes to provide cultural context,maintains the original focalization patterns,favors direct translation of dialogues to preserve stylistic authenticity,and adheres closely to the linear narrative structure of the source text.This study not only describes the different translation strategies across two defining historical periods but also contributes to a deeper understanding of how narrative voice,cultural positioning,and reader engagement are negotiated in the translation of classic detective fiction.

文摘Background Over the last few years,the rapid advancement of technology has led to the development of many approaches to digitalization.In this respect,metaverse provides 3D persistent virtual environments that can be used to access digital content,meet virtually,and perform several professional and leisure tasks.Among the numerous technologies supporting the metaverse,immersive Virtual Reality(VR)plays a primary role and offers highly interactive social experiences.Despite growing interest in this area,there are no clear design guidelines for creating environments tailored to the metaverse.Methods This study seeks to advance research in this area by moving from state-of-the-art studies on the design of immersive virtual environments in the context of metaverse and proposing how to integrate cutting-edge technologies within this context.Specifically,the best practices were identified by i)analyzing literature studies focused on human behavior in immersive virtual environments,ii)extracting common features of existing social VR platforms,and iii)conducting interviews with experts in a specific application domain.Specifically,this study considered the creation of a new virtual environment for MetaLibrary,a VR-based social platform aimed at integrating public libraries into metaverse.Several implementation challenges and additional requirements have been identified for the development of virtual environments(VEs).These elements were considered in the selection of specific cutting-edge technologies and their integration into the development process.A user study was also conducted to investigate some design aspects(namely lighting conditions and richness of the scene layout)for which deriving clear indications from the above analysis was not possible because different alternative configurations could be chosen.Results The work reported in this paper seeks to bridge the gap between existing VR platforms and related literature in the field,on the one hand,and requirements regarding immersive virtual environments for the metaverse,on the other hand,by reporting a set of best practices which were used to build a social virtual environment that meets users'expectations and needs.Conclusions Results suggest that carefully designed virtual environments can positively affect user experience and interaction within metaverse.The insights gained from this study offer valuable cues for developing immersive virtual environments for the metaverse to deliver more effective and engaging experiences.

文摘Objective:This study aimed to determine the correlation between the incidence of acute mountain sickness(AMS)and the body constitution of Tibetan medicine and other relevant factors to provide a reference for the prediction and prevention of AMS.Methods:A caseecontrol study was conducted to recruit participants who experienced or did not experience AMS after entering a plateau.The data was collected through online questionnaires for convenient sampling.Demographic characteristics,body constitution,and related states or behaviors were investigated before and after entering the plateau.The participants were divided into case and control groups based on the incidence of AMS.The distributions of relevant factors were compared.Binary logistic regression analysis was used to screen for risk and protective factors.Results:There were 167 participants who completed the questionnaire.A total of 54 cases were excluded,and 113 participants were included,including 52 in the case group and 61 in the control group.In the case group,37,13,and 2 patients had mild,moderate,and severe AMS,respectively.In terms of the Tibetan medicine constitution,the case group had the highest proportion of Bad-rlung(25.0%)and Rlung types(21.2%),whereas the control group had the highest proportion of Bad-rlung(29.5%)and Mkhrisbad types(24.6%).There was no significant difference in the distribution of the constitutional types between the two groups.Insomnia or insufficient sleep within the week prior to entering the plateau and fatigue after arrival were risk factors for AMS,with odds ratios(OR)and 95%confidence intervals(CI)of 5.012(1.871e13.426)and 3.387(1.393e8.236),respectively.A history of short-term plateau travel is a protective factor for AMS(OR:0.32,95%CI:0.129 to 0.792).Conclusion:Insomnia or lack of sleep before ascending to a plateau and fatigue after arrival are risk factors for AMS.The Rlung constitution might be related to the incidence of AMS;however,this still needs to be verified in large-sample observational studies.The risk factors identified in this study can provide a reference for the prevention practice and research of AMS.

文摘A“smart course”denotes a learner-centered curriculum model that deeply integrates advanced technologies,including generative artificial intelligence(AI)and big data analytics,with ongoing optimization and iterative refinement.This paper examines the pathways of smart course development in higher vocational education by using the Study Tour Course Design course as a practical case study.The analysis is conducted from four perspectives:innovation in educational concepts,innovation in teaching models,transformation in learning paradigms,and enhancement in evaluation systems.By developing a threedimensional framework encompassing“knowledge,skills,and problems”,the focus of education shifts from“knowledge imparting”to“competency development”.This approach fosters a transformation in teaching interactions,moving beyond the traditional“teacher and student interaction”to a more integrated trinity collaboration of“teachers,students,and machines”,and promotes the transformation of students’learning from“passive receptive learning”to“autonomous inquiry-based learning”.Simultaneously,it facilitates the transition of evaluation methods from“outcome-based evaluation”to“multi-dimensional evaluation”.

文摘Few studies have explored the acute effects of fine particulate matter(PM_(2.5))constituents on respiratory diseases(RDs),particularly across a broad spectrum of RD subtypes.We analyzed the associations between PM_(2.5) and its five major constituents[organic matter(OM),black carbon(BC),sulfate(SO_(4)^(2−)),nitrate(NO_(3)^(−)),and ammonium(NH_(4)^(+))]and RDs(10 major categories and 35 specific)based on the hospitalization records from 153 hospitals in 20 provincial distractions from 2013 to 2020.We found that short-term exposure(lag 0−1)to PM_(2.5) constituents per interquartile range increase was associated with higher hospitalization risks for acute upper respiratory infections,influenza and pneumonia,other acute lower respiratory infections,chronic lower respiratory diseases,other diseases of the pleura,and other diseases of the respiratory system;the effect estimates were 2.45−2.99%,2.02−2.71%,2.98−3.62%,3.06−3.65%,3.22−4.52%,and 2.23−3.66%,respectively.Among 35 specific RDs,12 were significantly affected by PM_(2.5) and its constituents.Individuals aged>60 years were sensitive to PM_(2.5) constituent exposure.Our individual-level nationwide study provided a more comprehensive perspective on the associations between PM_(2.5) constituents and various major and specific RDs,highlighting the necessity of prioritizing targeted control strategies for key constituents to effectively mitigate the burden of RDs in China.
