在低资源命名实体识别(NER)任务中,目前许多基于迁移学习的方法虽然能够缓解数据稀缺问题,但往往会导致句子中部分正确信息的遗漏或识别错误,从而影响模型在低资源环境中的效果。针对此问题,提出了一种基于多模块协同的NER模型Diff-Casc... 在低资源命名实体识别(NER)任务中,目前许多基于迁移学习的方法虽然能够缓解数据稀缺问题,但往往会导致句子中部分正确信息的遗漏或识别错误,从而影响模型在低资源环境中的效果。针对此问题,提出了一种基于多模块协同的NER模型Diff-Cascade-NER。利用变分自编码器(VAE)在潜在空间中学习数据表示,并生成多样化的样本;将上下文信息、句法分析和VAE重构数据作为条件输入到条件编码器(CE)进行编码;将编码后的数据传递给级联扩散模型(CDM),通过多阶段的去噪和生成过程产生高质量样本;通过对抗学习阶段(AL)优化生成样本的质量和多样性。实验结果表明,对比现有模型,Diff-Cascade-NER在8个低资源数据集上表现优越,特别是在BC2GM和WNUT-16数据集上,F1值分别达到85.44%和56.38%,验证了各模块协同作用在低资源NER任务中的有效性。 展开更多

Sonic Hedgehog Medulloblastoma(SHH-MB)is one of the four primary molecular subgroups of Medulloblastoma.It is estimated to be responsible for nearly one-third of allMB cases.Using transcriptomic and DNA methylation profiling techniques,new developments in this field determined four molecular subtypes for SHH-MB.SHH-MB subtypes show distinct DNAmethylation patterns that allow their discrimination fromoverlapping subtypes and predict clinical outcomes.Class overlapping occurs when two or more classes share common features,making it difficult to distinguish them as separate.Using the DNA methylation dataset,a novel classification technique is presented to address the issue of overlapping SHH-MBsubtypes.Penalizedmultinomial regression(PMR),Tomek links(TL),and singular value decomposition(SVD)were all smoothly integrated into a single framework.SVD and group lasso improve computational efficiency,address the problem of high-dimensional datasets,and clarify class distinctions by removing redundant or irrelevant features that might lead to class overlap.As a method to eliminate the issues of decision boundary overlap and class imbalance in the classification task,TL enhances dataset balance and increases the clarity of decision boundaries through the elimination of overlapping samples.Using fivefold cross-validation,our proposed method(TL-SVDPMR)achieved a remarkable overall accuracy of almost 95%in the classification of SHH-MB molecular subtypes.The results demonstrate the strong performance of the proposed classification model among the various SHH-MB subtypes given a high average of the area under the curve(AUC)values.Additionally,the statistical significance test indicates that TL-SVDPMR is more accurate than both SVM and random forest algorithms in classifying the overlapping SHH-MB subtypes,highlighting its importance for precision medicine applications.Our findings emphasized the success of combining SVD,TL,and PMRtechniques to improve the classification performance for biomedical applications with many features and overlapping subtypes. 展开更多

A wavelength interval switchable erbium-doped fiber laser based on cascaded and parallel Lyot filters

This study presents the design of an erbium-doped fiber laser(EDFL) featuring switchable wavelength intervals achieved through the implementation of cascaded and parallel Lyot filters. The proposed laser system utilizes a cascaded and parallel configuration of three Lyot filters, facilitated by a polarization beam splitter(PBS) for branch switching. The transmission properties of the filter are analyzed through theoretical modeling and experimental validation using the transmission matrix method. The experimental results are found to be consistent with the theoretical predictions, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed design. By adjusting the polarization controllers(PCs), the proposed laser can switch between wavelength spacings of 0.46 nm, 0.27 nm, and 0.76 nm, with a maximum optical signal-to-noise ratio(OSNR) of 38 d B. However, the stability of the laser with a 0.27 nm spacing is not high due to wavelength competition. Power fluctuation for 0.46 nm and 0.76 nm intervals is less than 0.93 d B and 0.78 d B in 1 h, with wavelength fluctuation less than 0.068 nm and 0.19 nm, respectively. This EDFL has the advantages of simple structure, great flexibility, and switchability, which can be applied to fiber optic sensing, wavelength division multiplexing(WDM) networks, and other fields that require a very flexible light source. 展开更多

The evolutionarily conserved mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)cascades relay extracellular signals into cells,triggering a variety of cellular responses.We previously revealed NtMPK4 as a positive regulator of nicotine biosynthesis;however,its upstream regulation remains unclear.Here,we characterized a MAPK cascade,comprising NtMEKK1b,NtMPKK2a,and NtMPK4,that promotes nicotine biosynthesis.This signaling module transduces external cues,including jasmonate and pathogen elicitors such as flg22,into post-translational modifications that enhance transcriptional activity and pathway gene expression.NtMPKK2a physically interacts with and phosphorylates NtMPK4 in vivo,confirming its role as an upstream kinase.RNAi-mediated silencing of NtMPKK2a significantly reduced the expression of nicotine pathway genes and decreased nicotine accumulation,whereas induced-overexpression of NtMPKK2a upregulated nicotine pathway genes and increased nicotine contents in tobacco hairy roots.Overexpression of NtMPKK2a in tobacco cells enhanced the transactivation activity of a NIC2-locus Ethylene Response Factor NtERF221 on Putrescine N-methyltransferase(NtPMT)promotor,further supporting its role in promoting nicotine biosynthesis.Furthermore,we identified NtMEKK1b,a tobacco MEKK that interacts with NtMAPKK2a in yeast cells.Knock-down of NtMEKK1b in transgenic tobacco plants attenuated the expression of nicotine pathway genes and reduced nicotine contents,whereas induced-overexpression of NtMEKK1b upregulated gene expression and nicotine accumulation.Our findings uncover a previously uncharacterized MAPK cascade module,NtMEKK1b-NtMPKK2a-NtMPK4,that regulates nicotine biosynthesis,highlighting the importance of posttranslational regulation in nicotine biosynthesis. 展开更多

Dynamically tunable terahertz(THz)beam focusing plays a critical role in emerging applications including reconfigurable imaging,localized spectral analysis,and micro-machining.Conventional methods,however,frequently employ complex wavefront modulators and external control algorithms,resulting in increased system footprint and limited tuning efficiency.In this work,we present an all-silicon mechanically rotatable cascaded metasurface capable of dynamic THz beam focusing.By independently adjusting the relative rotation angles between the two metasurface layers,real-time repositioning of the focal spot is achieved for orthogonal circular polarization channels.The proposed design facilitates polarization-division multiplexing without requiring external algorithms or active materials while preserving high focusing efficiency and beam quality across a predefined focal plane.Numerical simulations reveal a quasi-linear shift of the focal position with the rotation angle,with stable focusing efficiency and full-width at half-maximum observed in both polarization channels.This strategy offers an efficient and reliable approach to dynamic wavefront control for compact,reconfigurable THz imaging,sensing,and communication systems. 展开更多

Accurate trajectory tracking in lower-limb exoskeletons is challenged by the nonlinear,time-varying dynamics of human-robot interaction,limited sensor availability,and unknown external disturbances.This study proposes a novel control strategy that combines flatness-based control with two cascaded observers:a high-gain observer to estimate unmeasured joint velocities,and a nonlinear disturbance observer to reconstruct external torque disturbances in real time.These estimates are integrated into the control law to enable robust,state-feedback-based trajectory tracking.The approach is validated through simulation scenarios involving partial state measurements and abrupt external torque perturbations,reflecting realistic rehabilitation conditions.Results confirm that the proposed method significantly enhances tracking accuracy and disturbance rejection capability,demonstrating its strong potential for reliable and adaptive rehabilitation assistance. 展开更多

The cascaded H-bridge(CHB)multilevel inverter has become one of the most widely used PV inverter topologies due to its high voltage processing capability and high quality output power.Grid-connected PV system due to external conditions such as PV panel shading,PV component damage,can lead to PV output power imbalance,triggering the system over-modulation phenomenon,which in turn leads to grid-connected current waveform distortion.To this end,an improved power balance control strategy is proposed in this paper.Firstly,according to the different modulation ratios of each H-bridge module,a suitable harmonic injection method is used to keep the peak value of the modulating waveform always at 1;then an inverse triangular trapezoidal waveform is injected to optimize the modulating waveform,which further improves the output voltage waveform,reduces the THD value of the grid-connected currents,and maintains the stability of power inside the CHB system.Purpose.Simulation verifies the effectiveness and feasibility of this power balance control strategy. 展开更多

During the startup of the hydraulic turbine generators,the hybrid magnetic bearing support system exhibits displacement fluctuations,and the nonlinearity and strong coupling characteristics of the magnetic bearings limit the accuracy of rotor modeling,making traditional control methods difficult to adapt to parameter variations.To suppress startup disturbances and achieve a control strategy with low computational complexity and high precision,this paper proposes a five-degree-of-freedom hybrid magnetic bearing control strategy based on an improved cascaded reduced-order linear active disturbance rejection controller(CRLADRC).The front-stage reduced-order linear extended state observer(FRLESO)reduces the system’s computational complexity,enabling the system to maintain stability during motor startup disturbances.The second-stage reduced-order linear extended state observer(SRLESO)further enhances the system’s disturbance estimation accuracy while maintaining low computational complexity.Furthermore,the disturbance rejection and noise suppression capabilities are analyzed in the frequency domain and the stability of the proposed control method is proven using Lyapunov theory.Experimental results indicate that the proposed strategy effectively reduces displacement fluctuations in the hybrid magnetic bearing support system during motor startup,significantly enhancing the system’s robustness. 展开更多

One of the main issues in designing optimum tapered cascades for uranium enrichment for annual fuel production in a power reactor is whether to employ large(fat)or small(thin)cascades.What will be the permissible and optimal ranges of the number of machines that can be used in a cascade?For the first time,the permissible and optimal ranges of the number of gas centrifuges that can be utilized in a cascade were investigated using two types of centrifuges,and the performance of small and large tapered cascades was discussed.The particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSO)has been used to optimize tapered cascades.The results show:(1)For the first centrifuge,41 cascades(91≤n≤4897)and for the second centrifuge,49 cascades(18≤n≤3839)with small and large sizes can be used in enrichment facilities,and the best cascade for them has 530(with 23 stages)and 39(with 7 stages)centrifuges,respectively.(2)For both centrifuges,when 600≤n(number of centrifuges=n),the large cascade performance changes are relatively insignificant.(3)For both types of gas centrifuges,the annual los s of separation power in enrichment facilities is approximately 1.25%-4.82%of the total separation work required. 展开更多

Photo-responsive supramolecular assembly especially supramolecular hydrogels with tunable luminescence show a promising application potential in writable information recording and display materials.Herein,we report photo-responsive reversible multicolor supramolecular hydrogel with near-infrared emission,which is constructed by cucurbit[7]uril(CB[7]),cyanostilbene derivative(DAC)and Laponite XLG(LP)via supramolecular cascade assembly.Compared with the free vip molecule DAC,the confinement of macrocycle CB[7]achieve effective near-infrared fluorescence in the aqueous phase from scratch,and the subsequent cascade assembly with LP further restrict the molecular rotation of the DAC,which not only result in a substantial enhancement of the fluorescence intensity,but is also endowed with light-controlled fluorescence on/off both in the solution and hydrogel states.Further,8-hydroxy-1,3,6-pyrenetrisulfonic acid trisodium salt(HPTS)is introduced in the cascade assembly to fabricated photocontrollable reversible multicolor luminescence supramolecular hydrogel between red and green induced by Förster resonance energy transfer,which is successfully employed in reversible multiple information encryption. 展开更多

Cascading failure modeling and survivability analysis of weak-communication underwater unmanned swarm networks

Cascading failures pose a serious threat to the survivability of underwater unmanned swarm networks(UUSNs),significantly limiting their service ability in collaborative missions such as military reconnaissance and environmental monitoring.Existing failure models primarily focus on power grids and traffic systems,and don't address the unique challenges of weak-communication UUSNs.In UUSNs,cascading failure present a complex and dynamic process driven by the coupling of unstable acoustic channels,passive node drift,adversarial attacks,and network heterogeneity.To address these challenges,a directed weighted graph model of UUSNs is first developed,in which node positions are updated according to ocean-current-driven drift and link weights reflect the probability of successful acoustic transmission.Building on this UUSNs graph model,a cascading failure model is proposed that integrates a normal-failure-recovery state-cycle mechanism,multiple attack strategies,and routingbased load redistribution.Finally,under a five-level connectivity UUSNs scheme,simulations are conducted to analyze how dynamic topology,network load,node recovery delay,and attack modes jointly affect network survivability.The main findings are:(1)moderate node drift can improve survivability by activating weak links;(2)based-energy routing(BER)outperform based-depth routing(BDR)in harsh conditions;(3)node self-recovery time is critical to network survivability;(4)traditional degree-based critical node metrics are inadequate for weak-communication UUSNs.These results provide a theoretical foundation for designing robust survivability mechanisms in weak-communication UUSNs. 展开更多

Tooth morphogenesis is orchestrated by a complex interplay of signaling pathways and transcription factors that control cell proliferation,apoptosis,and differentiation,with the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway playing a pivotal role.However,the comprehensive regulatory mechanisms of Wnt/β-catenin signaling remain largely unclear.Smad7,a key antagonist of the TGF-βsuperfamily,is essential for maintaining tissue homeostasis and ensuring proper cellular function.Our previous study has demonstrated that Smad7 knockout in mice leads to impaired proliferative property of tooth germ cells,resulting in small molars.Here,we identified SMAD7 expression in human dental papilla and dental pulp,colocalized with β-CATENIN and cell proliferationrelated proteins.RNA sequencing analysis revealed a significant reduction in Wnt signaling activity in Smad7-deficient mouse tooth germs.Using lentivirus transfection,we established SMAD7-knockdown human dental papilla stem cells,which manifested remarkably blunt proliferation rate,along with diminished Wnt signaling activity.In vivo transplantation investigations further revealed the indispensable role of SMAD7 in dentin formation.Mechanistically,we revealed that β-CATENIN interacts with P-SMAD2/3 and SMAD7 through co-immunoprecipitation and yeast two-hybrid assays.Inhibition of TGF-β pathway or disruption of SMAD7/β-CATENIN transcription factor complex formation potently impacted Wnt/β-catenin activities,indicating both direct and indirect regulatory mechanisms.These findings highlight the critical role of SMAD7 in the proliferation and diffe rentiation of human dental stem cells,which could contribute to dental tissue regeneration and engineering. 展开更多

In this paper, we present an ultrafast digitizer utilizing the DRS4 switched capacitor array applicationspecific integrated circuit to achieve an ultrafast sampling speed of at most 5 GS/s. We cascaded all eight channels(sub-channels) of a single DRS4 chip for increased storage depth. The digitizer contains four DRS4 chips, a quadchannel analog-to-digital converter,a controlling fieldprogrammable gate array, a PXI interface, and an SFP+connector. Consequently, each DRS4 channel has a depth of 8192 points and a vertical resolution of 14 bits. The readout sequences should be broken into several segments and then reordered to obtain the correct sequential data sets, and this offline procedure varies in different readout modes. This paper describes the design and implementation of the hardware;in particular, the respective processing procedures are described in detail. Furthermore, the offset error is calibrated and corrected to improve the precision of the captured waveform in both single-channel and highresolution modes. 展开更多

Tunable coherent emission is generated in a single-pass, cascaded wavelength conversion process from mode-locked laser-pumped monolithic periodically poled lithium niobate(PPLN). Three ranges of wavelength, including visible output from 628 nm to 639 nm, near-infrared output from 797 nm to 816 nm, and mid-infrared output from 3167 nm to 3459 nm,were obtained from the monolithic PPLN, which consists of a 10-mm section for 532-nm-pumped optical parametric generation(OPG) and a 7-mm section for 1064-nm-pumped sum frequency generation(SFG). A pump-to-signal conversion efficiency of 23.4% for OPG at 50°C and a quantum efficiency of 26.2% for SFG at 200°C were obtained. 展开更多

A single cathode with a cascaded bias voltage arc plasma source has been developed with a new quartz cathode chamber,instead of the previous copper chambers,to provide better diagnostic observation and access to the plasma optical emission.The cathode chamber cooling scheme is also modified to be naturally cooled only by light emission without cooling water to improve the optical thin performance in the optical path.A single-parameter physical model has been developed to describe the power dissipated in the cascaded bias voltage arc discharge argon plasmas,which have been investigated by utilizing optical emission spectroscopy(OES) and Langmuir probe.In the experiments,discharge currents from 50 A to 100 A,argon flow rates from 800 sccm to 2000 sccm and magnetic fields of 0.1 T and 0.2 T were chosen.The results show:(a) the relationship between the averaged resistivity and the averaged current density exhibits an empirical scaling law as η∝ j^(-0.63369) and the power dissipated in the arc has a strong relation with the filling factor;(b) through the quartz,the argon ions optical emission lines have been easily observed and are dominating with wavelengths between 340 nm and 520 nm,which are the emissions of Ar^+-434.81 nm and Ar^+-442.60 nm line,and theintensities are increasing with the arc current and decreasing with the inlet argon flow rate;and(c) the electron density and temperature can reach 2.0 × 10^19 m^-3 and 0.48 eV,respectively,under the conditions of an arc current of 90 A and a magnetic field of 0.2 T.The half-width of the ne radial profile is approximatively equal to a few Larmor radii of electrons and can be regarded as the diameter of the plasma jet in the experiments. 展开更多

Present day power scenarios demand a high quality uninterrupted power supply and needs environmental issues to be addressed. Both concerns can be dealt with by the introduction of the renewable sources to the existing power system. Thus, automatic generation control(AGC) with diverse renewable sources and a modified-cascaded controller are presented in the paper.Also, a new hybrid scheme of the improved teaching learning based optimization-differential evolution(hITLBO-DE) algorithm is applied for providing optimization of controller parameters. A study of the system with a technique such as TLBO applied to a proportional integral derivative(PID), integral double derivative(IDD) and PIDD is compared to hITLBO-DE tuned cascaded controller with dynamic load change.The suggested methodology has been extensively applied to a 2-area system with a diverse source power system with various operation time non-linearities such as dead-band of, generation rate constraint and reheat thermal units. The multi-area system with reheat thermal plants, hydel plants and a unit of a wind-diesel combination is tested with the cascaded controller scheme with a different controller setting for each area. The variation of the load is taken within 1% to 5% of the connected load and robustness analysis is shown by modifying essential factors simultaneously by± 30%. Finally, the proposed scheme of controller and optimization technique is also tested with a 5-equal area thermal system with non-linearities. The simulation results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed controller and algorithm under a dynamically changing load. 展开更多

Measurement of electron density and electron temperature of a cascaded arc plasma using laser Thomson scattering compared to an optical emission spectroscopic approach 被引量:2

As advanced linear plasma sources, cascaded arc plasma devices have been used to generate steady plasma with high electron density, high particle flux and low electron temperature. To measure electron density and electron temperature of the plasma device accurately, a laser Thomson scattering(LTS) system, which is generally recognized as the most precise plasma diagnostic method, has been established in our lab in Dalian University of Technology. The electron density has been measured successfully in the region of 4.5?×10^19m^-3 to7.1?×10^20m^-3 and electron temperature in the region of 0.18 eV to 0.58 eV. For comparison,an optical emission spectroscopy(OES) system was established as well. The results showed that the electron excitation temperature(configuration temperature) measured by OES is significantly higher than the electron temperature(kinetic electron temperature) measured by LTS by up to 40% in the given discharge conditions. The results indicate that the cascaded arc plasma is recombining plasma and it is not in local thermodynamic equilibrium(LTE). This leads to significant error using OES when characterizing the electron temperature in a non-LTE plasma. 展开更多
