The device performance strongly depends on photoactive layer morphology, as the molecular packing, donor–acceptor interface and phase separation significantly affect the charge-transfer states and charge carrier dynamics. In this review, we start with a brief introduction of the techniques most effectively utilized to characterize multiphase morphology. Then, we summarize recent progress in A–D–A type acceptors, with the emphasis on understanding the molecular structure–morphology–performance relationships. Finally, an outlook on correlating morphological characteristics with photovoltage losses is presented for further improving device performance.展开更多

The P2Mo18-PPy was used as a bulk-modifier to fabricate a chemically modified carbon paste electrode(CPE) by direct mixing, which represents the example of polyoxometalates( POMs)- doped semiconductor polymer nanoparticles modified electrode. Both the advantage of POMs-doped polymer and the surface-renewal property of the CPE were fully utilized. The electrochemical behavior of the P2Mo18-PPY bulk-modified CPE(P2Mo18-PPy-CPE) was investigated with cyclic voltammetry. Three couples of reversible redox peaks were observed in the range from + 800 to 0 mV, which corresponded to the reduction and oxidation through two-, four- and six-electron processes, respectively. The P2 Mo18-PPY-CPE showed a high electrocatalytic activity for the reduction of nitrite, which expanded the application of POMs-doped semiconductor polymer nanoparticles.展开更多

Some exact solutions of Einstein’s gravitational field equations with bulk viscosity, gravitational and cosmological constants have been obtained. Several well known forms of cosmological terms have been considered to discuss the effect of cosmological variables. The new cosmological models presented in this paper approaches to isotropic model with evolution of universe. The physical and dynamical properties of the models have also been discussed.展开更多

The removed thickness of the active layer of samples of this SSNTD, were determined by measuring the average initial thickness (before etching) and residual thickness after 80 to 135 minutes chemical etching in the standard conditions, using an electronic comparator. These results allowed the calculation of the bulk etch rate of this detector in a simple way. The mean value obtained is (3.21 ± 0.21) μm/h. This value is in close agreement with those reported by different authors. It is an important parameter for alpha track counting on the sensitive surface of this polymeric detector after chemical etching because track density depends extremely on its removed layer. This SSNTD was then used for environmental radon gas monitoring in Côte d’Ivoire.展开更多
