The algorithm uses packet-by-packet scheduler with a compensating measure. It achieves good fairness in terms of throughput, requires only O( I) time complexity to process a packet, and is simple enough to be implemented in hardware. After the performances are analyzed, the fairness and packet loss rate of the algorithm are simulated. Carrying out pilot project to provide broadband universal service nationwide, especially in rural impoverished areas, is a major policy decision in China. To accelerate implementation and ensure quality of the constructed network, it is of great significance to conduct comprehensive and scientific evaluation of the network status. In this paper, we present the evaluation of the broadband network constructed in rural China with several key indicators. It shows that with steppedup efforts of the telecom industry, broadband networks have been introduced into more and more villages. The average network speed reaches 60 Mbps, which is far exceeding 12 Mbps’ obligation. 展开更多

Broadband provides high speed data transmission to Internet and 4G networks were developed to transform broadband technology with higher data rate and enhanced quality of service. The performance of broadband network in Nigeria in terms of type, purpose and speed was evaluated in this work. Some quarters at Ilesa and Oba-Ile in Akure were chosen as rural areas, while Abuja and Lagos represented the urban areas of the study. Questionnaires were administered among users in these areas randomly. Thereafter, data were analyzed and research questions answered from the analyzed results. The results showed that the majority of the respondents operated on wireless broadband technologies. The download speed is generally above 100 mbps in urban areas and below in rural areas, with MTN having the highest number of subscribers. In addition, most of the Internet surfers download files. With these characteristics, it was discovered that the network operators were deploying 3G systems as broadband instead of 4G systems. 展开更多

A Dynamic Self Organizing TDMA MAC for Long-Range Ad Hoc Networks

Research on wide area ad hoc networks is of great significance due to its application prospect in long-range networks such as aeronautical and maritime networks,etc.The design of MAC protocols is one of the most important parts impacting the whole network performance.In this paper,we propose a dis-tributed TDMA-based MAC protocol called Dynamic Self Organizing TDMA(DSO-TDMA)for wide area ad hoc networks.DSO-TDMA includes three main features:(1)In a distributed way,nodes in the network select transmitting slots according to the congestion situation of the local air interface.(2)In a selforganization way,nodes dynamically adjust the resource occupancy ratio according to the queue length of neighbouring nodes within two-hop range.(3)In a piggyback way,the control information is transmitted together with the payload to reduce the overhead.We design the whole mechanisms,implement them in NS-3 and evaluate the performance of DSO-TDMA compared with another dynamic TDMA MAC protocol,EHR-TDMA.Results show that the end-to-end throughput of DSO-TDMA is at most 51.4%higher than that of EHR-TDMA,and the average access delay of DSO-TDMA is at most 66.05%lower than that of EHR-TDMA. 展开更多

宽频带地震动模拟是工程地震中的关键科学问题,针对现有方法在低频物理建模与高频随机成分的结合中存在频谱不匹配和能量相位冲突的问题,提出一种基于谱元法(SEM)的模拟与基于人工神经网络(ANN)的宽频带地震动模拟方法.首先建立中国强... 宽频带地震动模拟是工程地震中的关键科学问题,针对现有方法在低频物理建模与高频随机成分的结合中存在频谱不匹配和能量相位冲突的问题,提出一种基于谱元法(SEM)的模拟与基于人工神经网络(ANN)的宽频带地震动模拟方法.首先建立中国强震动记录Flatfile训练短周期反应谱的非线性映射关系,其次采用谱元法模拟低频地震动,并通过调幅因子缩放高频随机成分,最终根据能量校准获得宽频带地震动时程.以漾濞MS6.4地震为例,利用反演得到的有限断层模型和精细三维速度结构模型,模拟得到起伏地表观测点的低频地震动时程,使用以上方法合成对应的宽频带模拟时程.宽频带模拟加速度时程、峰值地震动与观测记录均具有较好的一致性,可应用于区域地震危险性评估. 展开更多

偶极子发射换能器是远探测声波测井仪器的核心部件,其辐射声波的能量及工作带宽直接影响着测井数据的质量。为了优化换能器阻抗匹配,文章将换能器机电等效模型与宽带阻抗匹配网络相结合,基于自适应高斯牛顿算法对网络元件参数进行计算,... 偶极子发射换能器是远探测声波测井仪器的核心部件,其辐射声波的能量及工作带宽直接影响着测井数据的质量。为了优化换能器阻抗匹配,文章将换能器机电等效模型与宽带阻抗匹配网络相结合,基于自适应高斯牛顿算法对网络元件参数进行计算,该方法能够充分考虑换能器的材料及结构参数,且收敛速度快。在消声水池中对阻抗匹配后的换能器进行测试,观测换能器端的有功功率、激励电压、水平指向性、水听器接收电压,综合评估阻抗匹配网络的效果。实验结果表明,所设计的宽带阻抗匹配网络能够明显改善换能器声波辐射性能,使其频带宽度拓宽至原来的3倍,有功功率提高至原来的2.7倍。 展开更多

In this paper, a novel admission scheme is proposed which provides high degrees of quality of service (QoS) guarantees for multimedia traffic carried in mobile networks. The proposed scheme combines the admission control and bandwidth reservation to guarantee QoS requirements. It considers both local information and remote information to determine whether to accept or reject a connection. In order to embody the characteristics of the algorithms proposed in the article, two traditional algorithms of admission control are used for comparison. In the end of the paper the simulation analyses are given and the results show that the proposed algorithm can adjust the bandwidth according to the current status of networks and decrease the probability of connections forcibly dropped. The most important thing is that the algorithm is based on the multimedia communications and can guarantee the QoS of real time connections through decreasing the bandwidth of non real time connections. 展开更多

人工智能的快速发展为超表面自由调控电磁波提供了一种定制化的解决方案。本文提出了一种融合残差网络思想的深度全连接神经网络模型,用于从反射系数逆向预测宽带极化转换超表面的结构参数。首先设计了一种三层式超表面单元结构,并确定... 人工智能的快速发展为超表面自由调控电磁波提供了一种定制化的解决方案。本文提出了一种融合残差网络思想的深度全连接神经网络模型,用于从反射系数逆向预测宽带极化转换超表面的结构参数。首先设计了一种三层式超表面单元结构,并确定了其8个调控参数;在此基础上,通过结合不同超表面结构的精细化参数调控思路与深度学习逆向设计的高效映射能力,构建了端到端的电磁响应到结构参数的映射模型。创新性地引入残差连接机制,有效解决了深层网络训练中的梯度消失问题。重点阐述了融合残差连接的网络架构设计、训练策略,并分析了对数变换对预测精度的影响。通过对模型算法评价,本文模型对8个结构参数的预测结果决定系数R2均大于0.9。基于预测参数设计的超表面,在8.8~24.4 GHz全频段极化转换率均保持在90%以上。分析表明,本研究为超表面逆向设计提供了一种高效可行的方法,该方法可以进一步扩展到更多功能的超表面设计中。 展开更多
