Considering three longitudinal displacement functions and uniform axial displacement functions for shear lag effect and uniform axial deformation of thin-walled box girder with varying depths,a simple and efficient method with high precision to analyze the shear lag effect of thin-walled box girders was proposed.The governing differential equations and boundary conditions of the box girder under lateral loading were derived based on the energy-variational method,and closed-form solutions to stress and deflection corresponding to lateral loading were obtained.Analysis and calculations were carried out with respect to a trapezoidal box girder under concentrated loading or uniform loading and a rectangular box girder under concentrated loading.The analytical results were compared with numerical solutions derived according to the high order finite strip element method and the experimental results.The investigation shows that the closed-form solution is in good agreement with the numerical solutions derived according to the high order finite strip method and the experimental results,and has good stability.Because of the shear lag effect,the stress in cross-section centroid is no longer zero,thus it is not reasonable enough to assume that the strain in cross-section centroid is zero without considering uniform axial deformation. 展开更多

In this study, we examined the thermal effects throughout the process of the placement of span-scale girder segments on a 6×110-m continuous steel box girder in the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. Firstly, when a span-scale girder segment is temporarily stored in the open air, temperature gradients will significantly increase the maximum reaction force on temporary supports and cause local buckling at the bottom of the girder segment. Secondly, due to the temperature difference of the girder segments before and after girth-welding, some residual thermal deflections will appear on the girder segments because the boundary conditions of the structure are changed by the girth-welding. Thirdly, the thermal expansion and thermal bending of girder segments will cause movement and rotation of bearings, which must be considered in setting bearings. We propose control measures for these problems based on finite element method simulation with field-measured temperatures. The local buckling during open-air storage can be avoided by reasonably determining the appropriate positions of temporary supports using analysis of overall and local stresses. The residual thermal deflections can be overcome by performing girth-welding during a period when the vertical temperature difference of the girder is within 1 °C, such as after 22:00. Some formulas are proposed to determine the pre-set distances for bearings, in which the movement and rotation of the bearings due to dead loads and thermal loads are considered. Finally, the feasibility of these control measures in the placement of span-scale girder segments on a real continuous girder was verified: no local buckling was observed during open-air storage;the residual thermal deflections after girth-welding were controlled within 5 mm and the residual pre-set distances of bearings when the whole continuous girder reached its design state were controlled within 20 mm. 展开更多

Based on the Symplectic Elasticity method, the flange slab of the box girder is simplified into a plane stress plate. Using equilibrium conditions of the plates, the Hamilton dual equations for top plate element is established. The analytical formulas of each plate element considering shear lag effect are derived. The closed polynomial effective width expression of flange slab under uniform load on the whole span length has been obtained. Through examples using the finite element method, the results obtained by the proposed method are examined and the accuracy of the proposed method is verified. 展开更多

Noise generated by trains running on elevated lines creates many disturbances to the normal lives of surrounding residents. Investigations have shown that people living along elevated lines complain that the noise is sometimes unbearable. To better control the noise and optimize the acoustic environment, noise spectrum characteristics were analyzed and compared with a field test and a numerical simulation. Through an energy analysis of the noise on the bridge side, the energy distribution characteristics of the noise at specific measuring points in different frequency bands were obtained. The influence of the Doppler effect on frequency shift was analyzed. Based on the partial coherence theory, a multi-input and single-output program was compiled to calculate the correlation and contribution degree of the bridge structure-borne noise and wheel/rail noise at the one-third octave center frequency. The results show that the peak noises of the bridge and the wheel/rail are concentrated at 31.5–63 Hz and 400–800 Hz, respectively. For environmental noise on the bridge side, the frequency band above 250 Hz is mainly affected by the wheel/rail noise. In areas of noise source strength, the relative ratio of noise energy above 250 Hz can reach 83.4%. Noise in the near ground and far bridge area is mainly low-frequency, and the relative energy ratio is about 8.9%. The Doppler effect has an influence of less than 6% on the frequency shift with a speed of 67.9 km/h. In the low-frequency band below 250 Hz, the noise in the acoustic shadow area near the bridge and the ground is mainly contributed to by the vibration-radiated noise of the bridge, of which the contribution of the bottom panel is the most prominent. The noise in the comprehensive noise area of the far bridge is mainly caused by the structure-borne noise of the bridge, and the contribution of each bridge panel is different. This study can provide a reference for finding the source of elevated rail noise in some challenging frequency ranges and for then determining optimal designs and measures for noise reduction. 展开更多

To analyze the static and dynamic behaviors of the thin-walled box girder in its lateral webs in consideration of shear lag effect and shear deformation, an approach based on the minimum potential principle is introduced in this paper. Both static and dynamic response equations as well as the corresponding natural boundary conditions of the box girder are deduced. Meanwhile, three generalized displacement functions: w (x) , U(x) and O(x) are employed and their differences in the calculus of variation are quantitatively investigated. The comparison of finite shell element results with analytical results of calculation examples validates the feasibility of the proposed approach. 展开更多

Based on the comparisons between the measured data and the simulation results, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1 Our temperature monitoring system is reliable; 2 The corresponding measured data of the web plate and flange plate exposed to the sun, vary more severely than that at other positions, so these plates need higher standard design and construction requirements; 3 In the cold wave where still is sunshine, the box girder temperature effect behaves as sine-like curve. 展开更多

The temperature field variation law and distribution characteristics of an orthotropic flat steel box girder under sunny conditions were analyzed through a field temperature test on the steel box girder of the operational Runyang Yangtze River Bridge(the suspension bridge part).Function optimization fitting and error analysis of the test data were conducted.A temperature gradient distribution curve applicable to a hexagonal flat steel box girder was proposed.Based on the measurement results,the temperature effect of an orthotropic flat steel box girder was analyzed using finite element method and the effects of different temperature gradient modes on the mechanical characteristics and stress distribution of the steel box girder were compared.Under sunny conditions,heat conduction in the flat steel box girder structure shows distinct "box-room effect" characteristics,and the actual temperature gradient distribution is inconsistent with the one suggested by the existing standards.The thermal stress of a steel box girder calculated from the measured temperature gradient mode exceeds that calculated from the standard,and the intensity approximates that under the action of designed vehicle loads.The temperature-induced stress is distributed centrally near the manufacturing welds of the orthotropic steel box girder,which should be considered in design,construction and research.Results from this study could supplement the existing bridge and culvert design standards. 展开更多

由于双幅桥间复杂的流固耦合,使得其主梁涡激振动行为相较于单幅桥更为复杂。为深入研究双幅桥涡激振动的气动干扰现象及其气动力作用机理,基于某三跨连续钢箱梁桥主梁的同步测振测压节段模型风洞试验,研究了不同涡激振动阶段下的涡激... 由于双幅桥间复杂的流固耦合,使得其主梁涡激振动行为相较于单幅桥更为复杂。为深入研究双幅桥涡激振动的气动干扰现象及其气动力作用机理,基于某三跨连续钢箱梁桥主梁的同步测振测压节段模型风洞试验,研究了不同涡激振动阶段下的涡激力幅频特性与相对应的分布气动力演变特征,并结合气动行波效应相关理论进行双幅桥涡激振动特性分析。研究发现,该钢箱双幅连续梁桥的涡激振动锁定区间较宽,振幅较大,+3°为该断面最不利攻角。涡激力时程曲线显著包含高阶谐波成分,其幅值随涡激振动阶段动态变化。上游主梁涡激力幅值与振幅呈正相关,在第一、第二涡激振动锁定区间呈现先增后减的趋势。下游主梁涡激力幅值整体高于上游主梁,在第二锁定区间极值时二阶与三阶倍频占比达到峰值。基于气动行波效应理论并结合谱本征正交分解方法,分析了气动力的时空演变特征,验证了气动行波效应在双幅桥涡激振动行为研究上的可行性,并发现上游主梁桥面存在明显的气动行波效应,下游主梁桥面受到上游主梁涡脱尾流的干扰,其桥面部分的分布气动力呈现与涡激力的同步激励(即相位差无显著变化),无显著气动行波特征。上游主梁贡献值的拟合无量纲波长与桥面无量纲波长结果接近,约为桥面宽度。 展开更多

依托湛江机场高速公路预制箱梁项目开展蒸汽养生工艺下混凝土龄期对预制箱梁有效预应力的影响研究。结果表明:箱梁内部设置蒸汽管道可保证混凝土质量,缩小内外混凝土试样抗压强度和弹性模量差异。采用蒸汽养护21h+常温养护6h的组合模式... 依托湛江机场高速公路预制箱梁项目开展蒸汽养生工艺下混凝土龄期对预制箱梁有效预应力的影响研究。结果表明:箱梁内部设置蒸汽管道可保证混凝土质量,缩小内外混凝土试样抗压强度和弹性模量差异。采用蒸汽养护21h+常温养护6h的组合模式,可使28d的混凝土弹性模量达到设计值的86.7%。随着混凝土龄期的增加,锚下有效预应力和相对预应力损失率均不断降低且降低速率逐渐减小。龄期为3d时有效预应力损失量较大,龄期为5d、7d和9d时有效预应力损失率均在8%以内。采用蒸汽养生工艺可快速提高混凝土的强度和弹性模量,抗压强度在龄期2d时可达到设计值,弹性模量在龄期7d时可达到设计值,该工艺可大幅节省养护时间。 展开更多

持续下挠是大跨混凝土箱梁桥的主要病害特征。由于箱梁的空间复杂性,近年来一些无法由传统分析方法解释的裂缝不断从对桥梁的检查中被发现,不能排除正是由于这些未被注意到的裂缝导致结构的下挠。而对这些超出设计预期的裂缝进行识别与... 持续下挠是大跨混凝土箱梁桥的主要病害特征。由于箱梁的空间复杂性,近年来一些无法由传统分析方法解释的裂缝不断从对桥梁的检查中被发现,不能排除正是由于这些未被注意到的裂缝导致结构的下挠。而对这些超出设计预期的裂缝进行识别与机理研究对传统理论分析框架提出挑战。为解决这一问题,文章提出一种基于精细有限元模型-空间网格模型(SLGM),结合三层应力指标系统(T-LSIS)的裂缝统一识别理论分析框架,并以大跨径混凝土多箱室箱梁桥为实际背景,开展全面的裂缝识别与开裂机理研究。研究考虑不同荷载因素、环境温度场模式、箱梁“框架效应”对结构抗裂性能的影响,并将识别的裂缝位置及形态与现场实测数据进行了对比,讨论并解析实桥不同裂缝的开裂机理及其核心影响因素。结果表明:基于SLGM和T-LSIS分析框架能够实现对实桥裂缝位置和形态的统一识别,包括传统方法无法解释的一些裂缝。此外,内外温差效应对箱梁的抗裂性能影响显著,对“框架效应”的忽略是导致箱梁腹板产生超出设计预期的开裂的核心原因。 展开更多

为研究变截面波形钢腹板组合箱梁的扭转性能,基于乌曼斯基第二理论推导了箱梁的扭转微分方程和应力公式,并结合有限元模型检验了理论公式的正确性.根据实际工程分析了不同荷载作用形式下横隔板布置参数变化对变截面波形钢腹板箱梁扭转... 为研究变截面波形钢腹板组合箱梁的扭转性能,基于乌曼斯基第二理论推导了箱梁的扭转微分方程和应力公式,并结合有限元模型检验了理论公式的正确性.根据实际工程分析了不同荷载作用形式下横隔板布置参数变化对变截面波形钢腹板箱梁扭转性能的影响,对比了箱梁横桥向与纵桥向的受力与变形性能.研究结果表明:在跨中布置横隔板比在跨径1/3处布置效果差;变截面箱梁截面的抗扭转能力与横隔板布置位置不成正比,应选取跨中截面为控制截面进行受力与变形分析;相较于顶板,底板的受力随着横隔板间距的变小变化明显,且当横隔板数量达到8以上,即板间间距小于13m后,整体受力趋于稳定;相较于纵向翘曲位移,横隔板的设置对桥梁横向翘曲位移的影响更为显著;结合受力与变形可得该工程实例合理的横隔板布置数量为6~8道,布置间距为10~20m. 展开更多

为研究变厚度翼缘板薄壁箱梁的剪力滞效应,提出一种适应不同荷载形式及边界条件下剪力滞分析的有限梁段法。首先通过翼板剪切变形规律定义剪力滞翘曲位移函数,再应用最小势能原理建立剪力滞基本微分方程。在变分原理基础上,提出每节点... 为研究变厚度翼缘板薄壁箱梁的剪力滞效应,提出一种适应不同荷载形式及边界条件下剪力滞分析的有限梁段法。首先通过翼板剪切变形规律定义剪力滞翘曲位移函数,再应用最小势能原理建立剪力滞基本微分方程。在变分原理基础上,提出每节点包含两个剪力滞自由度的梁段单元并对其进行Hermite位移插值,导出考虑剪力滞与梁弯曲刚度耦合影响的单元刚度矩阵。结合具体算例分析箱梁的纵横向剪力滞效应,结果表明:有限梁段法解与实体有限元解和能量变分法解吻合良好且具有较高的精度,验证了方法的准确性和适用性;与通过面积相等将变厚度翼缘板简化成等厚度翼缘板的方法相比,考虑翼缘板厚度变化的方法能够提高计算精度,最大可提高19.3%(悬臂板根部位置)。最后应用有限梁段法对某大跨连续刚构箱梁桥在选定荷载工况下的剪力滞效应进行分析,为复杂桥梁结构中变厚度翼缘板箱梁剪力滞的研究提供了理论基础与经验借鉴。 展开更多

分析横隔板的布置方式对变截面波形钢腹板组合箱梁桥的影响,运用有限元软件,建立桥梁实体模型进行分析。通过改变荷载作用形式,以桥梁自身的翘曲变形、畸变应力、扭转应力等参数为依据,详细分析了波形钢腹板桥在不同的横隔板布置间距、... 分析横隔板的布置方式对变截面波形钢腹板组合箱梁桥的影响,运用有限元软件,建立桥梁实体模型进行分析。通过改变荷载作用形式,以桥梁自身的翘曲变形、畸变应力、扭转应力等参数为依据,详细分析了波形钢腹板桥在不同的横隔板布置间距、布置数量下,桥梁的扭转与畸变效应。研究结果表明:在偏心集中荷载作用下,顶板处所受应力最大,且最大扭转应力仅为最大畸变应力的40%;某一截面抗畸变能力的大小主要由距离其最近的两个横隔板间距离决定;横隔板布置位置远近与截面抗扭转能力大小不成正比;与畸变荷载作用相比,在扭转荷载作用下,横隔板处应力波动更为明显;相比于纵向翘曲位移,横隔板的设置对桥梁横向翘曲位移的影响更显著;在跨中设置横隔板对桥梁抗畸变能力影响较大。 展开更多

典型箱梁竖向涡激气动力行波效应与抑振机理

为研究增设检修轨道导流板、人行道栏杆抑流板等气动措施抑振机理,开展了大尺度节段模型测振测压风洞试验。基于表面压力时空分布特征及其统计特性提出了气动行波假设,结合谱本征正交分解(spectral proper orthogonal decomposition,SP... 为研究增设检修轨道导流板、人行道栏杆抑流板等气动措施抑振机理,开展了大尺度节段模型测振测压风洞试验。基于表面压力时空分布特征及其统计特性提出了气动行波假设,结合谱本征正交分解(spectral proper orthogonal decomposition,SPOD)方法进行验证,并提出气动力时空功率谱,进一步量化与解构了复杂的时空压力场,揭示了流线型箱梁涡振机理及气动措施抑振机理。研究表明:原始断面在试验风速内存在3阶竖向涡振锁定区间,其中第3阶锁定区振幅最大。增设检修轨道导流板后,断面最大振幅减小53.1%,增设人行道栏杆抑流板后涡振消失。断面表面复杂压力场可表达为多个不同激励源诱发的气动力时空分布模式的线性叠加。原始断面表面压力场由断面振动基频处1阶SPOD模态对应压力时空分布主导,同时上表面模态压力时空分布占主导地位。上表面主导模态压力沿下游呈现行波式演变,贡献值呈波浪式分布,统称为“气动行波”效应。上表面气动行波作用强度远大于下表面。气动行波传播可由分布气动力与涡激力相位差单调递减表征。原始断面上表面气动行波波长与贡献值空间分布波长基本一致,约等于前、后缘防撞栏杆之间距离。增设导流板后,上表面主导气动行波传播模式基本不变,作用强度减小,从而涡振幅值减小。增设抑流板使得上表面能量分布呈宽带分布特征,锁频现象消失,故而不发生涡振。研究提炼了涡振时断面表面复杂压力场中的关键和主导气动力时空演变模式——气动行波,为桥梁主梁断面涡振机理分析和涡激力数理模型的构建提供了思路。 展开更多

为合理分析偏心荷载作用下钢桁腹-混凝土组合箱梁的横向内力,对钢桁腹杆进行等效处理,参考框架分析法的基本原理,建立了考虑畸变效应的钢桁腹-混凝土组合箱梁横向内力计算公式。结合该类组合箱梁的结构特点和受力特性,提出了新的翘曲应... 为合理分析偏心荷载作用下钢桁腹-混凝土组合箱梁的横向内力,对钢桁腹杆进行等效处理,参考框架分析法的基本原理,建立了考虑畸变效应的钢桁腹-混凝土组合箱梁横向内力计算公式。结合该类组合箱梁的结构特点和受力特性,提出了新的翘曲应力分布模式,并推导得到新应力分布模式下的畸变翘曲系数计算公式。通过将公式解与有限元解进行对比,发现二者吻合良好,计算误差均在10%以内,尤其在底板位置处精度更高,验证了推导公式的正确性和新应力分布模式的合理性。此分析方法可反映出箱梁畸变和横向框架作用对该类组合箱梁横向内力的影响。对荷载偏心距、高跨比和悬臂板宽度进行参数分析,结果表明:随着荷载偏心距的增加,该类组合箱梁角点处的横向弯矩变化规律与混凝土箱梁的规律不同,主要是由于钢桁腹杆对顶底板的约束程度降低;该类组合箱梁的横向弯矩随着高跨比的增加而增加,增长规律呈曲线分布;选择合适的悬臂板宽度可有效降低钢桁腹-混凝土组合箱梁的横向弯矩。 展开更多
