In this paper, we demonstrate an alternative approach to fabricating an electrically tunable holographic polymer tem- plated blue phase liquid crystal grating. This grating is obtained by preforming a polymer template comprised of periodic fringes, and then refilling it with a blue phase liquid crystal. Compared with conventional holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystal gratings, our grating can remarkably reduce its switching voltage from 200 V to 43 V while maintaining a sub-millisecond response time. The holographic polymer templated blue phase liquid crystal (HPTBPLC) grating is free from electrode patterning, thus leading to a lower cost and more flexible applications. 展开更多

In this paper,we investigate the bichromatic coherent random lasing actions from the dye-doped polymer stabilized blue phase liquid crystals.Two groups of lasing peaks,of which the full widith at half maximum is about 0.3 nm,are clearly observed.The shorter-and longer-wavelength modes are associated with the excitation of the single laser dye(DCM) monomers and dimers respectively.The experimental results show that the competition between the two groups of the lasing peaks can be controlled by varying the polarization of the pump light.When the polarization of the pump light is rotated from 0?to 90?,the intensity of the shorter-wavelength lasing peak group reduces while the intensity of the longer-wavelength lasing peak group increases.In addition,a red shift of the longer-wavelength modes is also observed and the physical mechanisms behind the red-shift phenomenon are discussed. 展开更多

The blue phase,which emerges between cholesteric and isotropic phases within a threedimensional periodical superstructure,is of great significance in display and photonic applications.The crystalline orientation plays an important role in the macroscopic performance of the blue phase,where the single crystal shows higher uniformity over the polydomain and monodomain,resulting in higher Bragg reflection intensity,lower hysteresis,and lower driving voltage.However,currently reported methods of forming a single-crystal blue phase based on thermal controlling or e-beam lithography are quite time-consuming or expensive for large-scale fabrication,especially in the centimeter range,thus hindering the broad practical applications of single-crystal blue-phase-based photonic devices.Herein,a strategy to fabricate a large scale single crystalline blue-phase domain using holography lithography is proposed.Defect-free single-crystal domains both in blue phase I and blue phase II with a desired orientation of over 1 cm^(2) are fabricated based on a nanopatterned grating with periodic homeotropic and degenerate parallel anchoring,with colors from red and green to blue.This holography lithography-assisted strategy for fabrication of a large-scale singlecrystal blue phase provides a time-saving and low-cost method for a defect-free single crystalline structure,leading to broad applications in liquid crystal displays,laser devices,adaptive optics elements,and electrooptical devices. 展开更多

The crystalline structure, morphology, and optical properties of Cu_2MoS_4 nanoparticles were characterized using X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and UV-vis spectrophotometry. Cu_2MoS_4 nanoparticles having a band gap of 1.66 eV exhibits good photocatalytic activity in the degradation of methylene blue, which indicates that this simple process may be critical to facilitate the cheap production of photocatalysts. 展开更多

In this paper the results from investigations of the nonlinear refractive index and nonlinear absorption coefficient of Bromophenol Blue using the Z-scan technique with a continuous wave laser beam at wavelengths 488 nm and 514 nm are presented. It was observed that the material exhibited reverse saturation absorption and self defocusing behavior. It was found that the increase in solution concentration resulted in linear increase of the nonlinear refractive index. A pump and probe technique was used to obtain the absorption spectrum of triplet state. Furthermore the nonlinear absorption effect was used to demonstrate all optical switching. 展开更多

We find that in the limiting of weak coupling the results coincide with that obtained under rotating-wave approximation while there exists an increasing difference with the increase of coupling constant. It was shown that the geometric phase is symmetric with respect to the sign of the detuning of the quantized field from the one-photon resonance under the conventional rotating-wave approximation while a red-blue detuning asymmetry occurs beyond the conventional rotating-wave approximation. 展开更多

准二维钙钛矿因其多量子阱结构、优异的薄膜表面形貌和高发光量子效率而被用于构筑高效率的钙钛矿发光二极管(PeLEDs),在显示和照明领域具有广阔的应用前景。由于准二维钙钛矿中大量小n相引起的非辐射复合,蓝光PeLED面临能量传递效率低... 准二维钙钛矿因其多量子阱结构、优异的薄膜表面形貌和高发光量子效率而被用于构筑高效率的钙钛矿发光二极管(PeLEDs),在显示和照明领域具有广阔的应用前景。由于准二维钙钛矿中大量小n相引起的非辐射复合,蓝光PeLED面临能量传递效率低和发射光谱不稳定等问题,其性能尚滞后于红、绿光器件。本文通过在空穴传输层中引入聚(4-苯乙烯磺酸钠)和氯化铯影响钙钛矿的成核和生长过程,调控其相分布,有效抑制了钙钛矿中的小n相组分,提高了能量传递效率,同时降低了陷阱态密度,非辐射复合被显著抑制。此外,氯离子扩散到钙钛矿层中通过离子交换调谐钙钛矿薄膜蓝光发射。优化后的蓝光PeLED器件发射光谱位于488 nm,最大亮度达到2772 cd/m^(2),最大外量子效率为4.9%。该工作为实现高效且光谱稳定的蓝光PeLED提供了一种有效的方法。 展开更多

大量有机污染物对水循环造成严重污染,同时耐药细菌对人类健康构成严重威胁。光催化纳米材料已成为抗菌领域的研究热点。本文通过尿素和甲酸热聚合法烧制成氧掺杂氮化碳(O-CN),优选比例的OCN与聚乙烯醇(PVA)溶液混合,通过静电纺丝技术... 大量有机污染物对水循环造成严重污染,同时耐药细菌对人类健康构成严重威胁。光催化纳米材料已成为抗菌领域的研究热点。本文通过尿素和甲酸热聚合法烧制成氧掺杂氮化碳(O-CN),优选比例的OCN与聚乙烯醇(PVA)溶液混合,通过静电纺丝技术成功制备了PVA/O-CN复合纳米纤维膜。对O-CN和PVA/O-CN复合膜进行形貌和结构表征以及光催化抑菌和有机污染物去除性能的分析。结果表明:O原子部分代替CN中三嗪环结构中N的位置,O-CN的可见光吸收能力和电子-空穴对分离率较CN有所提高,PVA/O-CN-0.6复合纳米纤维膜对大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌有较好的抑制作用,抑菌率可达96%和93.7%。另外,PVA/O-CN-0.6复合纳米纤维膜对染料具有良好的去除性能,PVA/O-CN-0.6在4 h内对亚甲基蓝(MB)的去除率达到了97.7%。此外,该膜具有良好的热稳定性和优异的力学性能,在水净化及抑菌领域具有很大的应用潜力。 展开更多

采用超声分散法制备ZnO负载石墨相氮化碳(g-C_(3)N_(4))光催化材料,通过XRD、FTIR、UV-Vis DRS、PL等手段对ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4)光催化材料的物相、特征基团、光学性能及光电子-空穴复合率等进行表征。以亚甲基蓝(MB)为模拟染料溶液,考察Zn... 采用超声分散法制备ZnO负载石墨相氮化碳(g-C_(3)N_(4))光催化材料,通过XRD、FTIR、UV-Vis DRS、PL等手段对ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4)光催化材料的物相、特征基团、光学性能及光电子-空穴复合率等进行表征。以亚甲基蓝(MB)为模拟染料溶液,考察ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4)光催化材料对MB降解性能的影响并运用Langmuir-Hinshelwood方程对其动力学进行拟合,同时对ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4)的稳定性进行研究。结果表明,在ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4)复合光催化材料中g-C_(3)N_(4)和ZnO形成了异质结结构,提高了分离光电子-空穴的程度和光吸收效率,进而提升吸收可见光光谱范围。在光照60 min的条件时,光催化降解MB的效率为96.5%,在降解MB过程中,ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4)循环利用5次后光催化效率仍然可以保持在94.3%,具有良好的光催化性、稳定性。超氧自由基(·O~-_2)和空穴(h~+)在所制备ZnO负载g-C_(3)N_(4)光催化材料降解MB过程中起到主要作用。 展开更多
