A Novel Evaluation Strategy to Artificial Neural Network Model Based on Bionics

With the continuous deepening of Artificial Neural Network(ANN)research,ANN model structure and function are improving towards diversification and intelligence.However,the model is more evaluated from the pros and cons of the problem-solving results and the lack of evaluation from the biomimetic aspect of imitating neural networks is not inclusive enough.Hence,a new ANN models evaluation strategy is proposed from the perspective of bionics in response to this problem in the paper.Firstly,four classical neural network models are illustrated:Back Propagation(BP)network,Deep Belief Network(DBN),LeNet5 network,and olfactory bionic model(KIII model),and the neuron transmission mode and equation,network structure,and weight updating principle of the models are analyzed qualitatively.The analysis results show that the KIII model comes closer to the actual biological nervous system compared with other models,and the LeNet5 network simulates the nervous system in depth.Secondly,evaluation indexes of ANN are constructed from the perspective of bionics in this paper:small-world,synchronous,and chaotic characteristics.Finally,the network model is quantitatively analyzed by evaluation indexes from the perspective of bionics.The experimental results show that the DBN network,LeNet5 network,and BP network have synchronous characteristics.And the DBN network and LeNet5 network have certain chaotic characteristics,but there is still a certain distance between the three classical neural networks and actual biological neural networks.The KIII model has certain small-world characteristics in structure,and its network also exhibits synchronization characteristics and chaotic characteristics.Compared with the DBN network,LeNet5 network,and the BP network,the KIII model is closer to the real biological neural network. 展开更多

The landing buffer is an important problem in the research on bionic locust jumping robots, and the different modes of landing and buffering can affect the dynamic performance of the buffering process significantly. Based on an experimental observation, the different modes of landing and buffering are determined, which include the different numbers of landing legs and different motion modes of legs in the buffering process. Then a bionic locust mechanism is established, and the springs are used to replace the leg muscles to achieve a buffering effect. To reveal the dynamic performance in the buffering process of the bionic locust mechanism, a dynamic model is established with different modes of landing and buffering. In particular, to analyze the buffering process conveniently, an equivalent vibration dynamic model of the bionic locust mechanism is proposed.Given the support forces of the ground to the leg links, which can be obtained from the dynamic model, the spring forces of the legs and the impact resistance of each leg are the important parameters affecting buffering performance, and evaluation principles for buffering performance are proposed according to the aforementioned parameters. Based on the dynamic model and these evaluation principles, the buffering performances are analyzed and compared in different modes of landing and buffering on a horizontal plane and an inclined plane. The results show that the mechanism with the ends of the legs sliding can obtain a better dynamic performance. This study offers primary theories for buffering dynamics and an evaluation of landing buffer performance,and it establishes a theoretical basis for studies and engineering applications. 展开更多

In this paper, a novel bionic model and its performance in pattern recognition are presented and discussed. The model is constructed from a bulb model and a three-layered cortical model, mimicking the main features of the olfactory system. The olfactory bulb and cortex models are connected by feedforward and feedback fibers with distributed delays. The Breast Cancer Wisconsin dataset consisting of data from 683 patients divided into benign and malignant classes is used to demonstrate the capacity of the model to learn and recognize patterns, even when these are deformed versions of the originally learned patterns. The performance of the novel model was compared with three artificial neural networks (ANNs), a back-propagation network, a support vector machine classifier, and a radial basis function classifier. All the ANNs and the olfactory bionic model were tested in a benchmark study of a standard dataset. Experimental results show that the bionic olfactory system model can learn and classify patterns based on a small training set and a few learning trials to reflect biological intelligence to some extent. 展开更多

融合特征工程与优化VMD-LSBoost的湖泊溶解氧浓度预测

构建基于数据驱动的水质预测模型对湖泊污染预警具有重要意义,为克服输入特征缺乏理论基础及精度较低等缺点,首先应用K最近邻(KNN)算法、数据清除法、VMD变分模态分解数据处理技术对水质数据进行预处理;然后利用最大信息系数(MIC)算法... 构建基于数据驱动的水质预测模型对湖泊污染预警具有重要意义,为克服输入特征缺乏理论基础及精度较低等缺点,首先应用K最近邻(KNN)算法、数据清除法、VMD变分模态分解数据处理技术对水质数据进行预处理;然后利用最大信息系数(MIC)算法确定各特征重要性程度并制定输入方案,导入LSBoost预测模型,同时为避免模型过拟合问题,提高模型泛化能力,利用霜冰优化算法(RIME)、变色龙优化算法(CSA)、大猩猩优化算法(GTO)等仿生算法优化模型超参数;最后将构建的32种深度学习模型应用于千岛湖DO浓度值预测中。结果表明,MIC算法优选输入特征,以降低冗余特征的干扰,LSBoost模型预测性能有所提升,在千岛湖小金山、三潭岛、大坝前水质监测站最优预测模型分别为MIC-LSBoost7、MIC-LSBoost4、MIC-LSBoost4,其决定系数(R^(2))均大于0.81,预测误差(eMAPE)均小于4.05%。仿生算法对MIC-LSBoost模型超参数进行优化,构建湖泊DO浓度值最优预测模型,R^(2)均大于0.890,eMAPE在3.072%以内,该模型可优选与预测指标相关特征,有效提高了模型捕捉DO浓度值演变规律的敏感性。 展开更多

随着机器人技术的发展,许多未知非结构环境要求机器人必须具有较强的地形适应能力、高效的运动模式和自主运动能力。但传统的轮式驱动机器人越障能力有限,因此迫切需要越障能力更强的仿生腿足式弹跳机器人。在分析仿生弹跳机器人研究现... 随着机器人技术的发展,许多未知非结构环境要求机器人必须具有较强的地形适应能力、高效的运动模式和自主运动能力。但传统的轮式驱动机器人越障能力有限,因此迫切需要越障能力更强的仿生腿足式弹跳机器人。在分析仿生弹跳机器人研究现状的基础上,对仿青蛙弹跳机器人进行了结构设计与分析。将弹跳机器人分为蓄力系统、传动系统、脚蹼系统三个部分,提出基于凸轮压缩弹簧蓄能、可伸缩杆协调前后肢运动的机器人总体方案。考虑前后肢蓄力、核心骨架、前后肢传动、凸轮顶点限位等问题,对机器人的关键结构进行设计,利用Solidworks软件完成各零件的三维建模和装配。通过对机器人在不同起跳姿态下的结构干涉检查,验证了机器人结构的合理性。 展开更多

In this paper, a wild boar head was taken as the bionic research object for the development of new ridgers, a kind of plough. The reverse engineering technology was adopted to obtain the surface geometrical information of the head. Several three-dimensional (3D) point clouds of the head were captured first using a non-touch laser scanner, and an integrated point cloud was generated by aligning these point clouds using UG/Imageware. Then, the digital surface model of the head was rebuilt by means of CATIA. The characteristic curves of the surface model were analyzed. The results show that the average error between the rebuilt surface and the point cloud is -0.431 ram. The max curvature of the ridge on the neb of the head is 0.187 mm^-1, and the max and rain Gauss curvatures on the surface are 0.008 mm^-2 and -0.002 mm^-2. These geometrical information are the essential parameters for biomimetics study of the ridger. 展开更多

A general kinematic model of the space robot was established based on the law of linear and angular momentum conservation. A combinational joint model was established combined with bionic joint and closed motion. The attitude transformation of planar,two DOF and three DOF is analyzed and simulated by the model,and it is verified that the feasibility of attitude transformation in three DOF space. Finally,the specific scheme of disturbance elimination in attitude transformation is presented and simulation results are obtained.Therefore,the range of application field of the bionic joint model has been expanded. 展开更多

The optimisation of earthquake resistance of high buildings by multi-tuned mass dampers was investigated using bionic algorithms. In bionic or evolutionary optimisation studies the properties of parents are crossed and mutated to produce a new generation with slightly different properties. The kids which best satisfy the object of the study, become the parents of the next generation. After a series of generations essential improvements of the object may be observed. Tuned mass dampers are widely used to reduce the impact of dynamic excitations on structures. A single mass system and multi-mass oscillators help to explain the mechanics of the dampers. To apply the bionic optimisation strategy to high buildings with passive tuned mass dampers subject to seismic loading a special beam element has been developed. In addition to the 6 degrees of freedom of a conventional beam element, it has 2 degrees of freedom for the displacements of the dampers. It allows for fast studies of many variants. As central result, efficient designs for damping systems along the height of an edifice are found. The impact on the structure may be reduced essentially by the use of such dampers designed to interact in an optimal way. 展开更多

In particular, the scopula of Evarcha arcuata spiders allows for reversible attachment and easy detachment to a broad range of surfaces. Hence, reproducing the scopula's roughness compatibility while maintaining anti-bunching features and dirt particle repellence behavior is a central task for a biomimetic transfer to an engineered model. In the present work we model the scopula of E. arcuata from a mechano-elastic point of view analyzing the influence of its hierarchical structure on the attachment behavior. By considering biological data of the gecko and spider, and the simulation results, the adhesive capabilities of the two animals are compared and important confirmations and new directives in order to reproduce the overall structure are found. Moreover, a possible suggestion of how the spider detaches in an easy and fast manner is proposed and supported by the results. 展开更多

These algorithms pay less attention to the image acquisition means, and usually solve specific problems. This often results in poor flexibility and reus- ability. Insect compound eyes offer unique advantages for moving target detection and these advantages have attracted the attention of many researchers in recent years. In this paper we proposed a new system for moving target detection. We used the detection mechanism of insect compound eyes for the simulation of the characteristics of structure, control, and function. We discussed the design scheme of the system, the development of the bionic control circuit, and introduced the proposed mathe- matical model of bionic cqmpound eyes for data acquisition and object detection. After this the integrated system was described and discussed. Our paper presents a novel approach for moving target detection. This approach effectively tackles some of the well-known problems in the field of view, resolution, and real-time processing problems in moving target detection. 展开更多

基于CT影像数据,构建高生物逼真度的腰椎损伤仿生模型,并对标尸体实验数据验证模型的有效性。解耦汽车正面碰撞中乘员上躯干由于惯性作用向前俯冲后受约束系统作用回位时与座椅接触所受压迫的历程,设计跌落实验进行仿真分析。基于深度... 基于CT影像数据,构建高生物逼真度的腰椎损伤仿生模型,并对标尸体实验数据验证模型的有效性。解耦汽车正面碰撞中乘员上躯干由于惯性作用向前俯冲后受约束系统作用回位时与座椅接触所受压迫的历程,设计跌落实验进行仿真分析。基于深度学习算法对仿真输出结果进行训练预测,并验证训练后所得神经网络预测模型的准确性。采用主成分分析和交叉逆向方法对关键参数进行相关性分析。结果表明:训练所得腰椎结构损伤预测模型具有较高可靠性(R^(2)>0.9)。综合分析发现,腰椎结构在受轴向冲击后L_(4)椎体承受最大冲击载荷,可将其作为腰椎损伤量化评价代表。各环境变量中,L_(4)腰椎轴向力主要受躯干质量及跌落高度影响,二者均对其具有正相关影响。躯干质量、后倾角度及跌落高度对内能影响均存在正向影响;而躯干质量及跌落高度对应力影响呈负相关性。该研究结果为进一步理清智能座舱环境中腰椎损伤机理以制订相应的安全防护策略及汽车乘员安全保护评价等提供科学的参考依据。 展开更多

目的 探讨基于成果导向教育理念(outcome-based education,OBE)联合3 D仿生模型和考试系统在耳鼻咽喉科教学中的应用效果。方法 选取2023年10月至2024年10月在大连医科大学附属第二医院耳鼻咽喉科专业的28名研究生来源的住院医师为研究... 目的 探讨基于成果导向教育理念(outcome-based education,OBE)联合3 D仿生模型和考试系统在耳鼻咽喉科教学中的应用效果。方法 选取2023年10月至2024年10月在大连医科大学附属第二医院耳鼻咽喉科专业的28名研究生来源的住院医师为研究对象,采用随机数字法分为观察组和对照组。观察组采用OBE教育理念下的教学模式,根据理论和技能方面的教学成果评价情况,对薄弱知识点进行个体化培训;对照组采用传统授课模式,仅对疑难、重点内容进行重复讲解。比较两组培训前后理论知识、技能操作考核成绩和个人素质评分,评价教学效果。结果 培训前两组考核及评分差异无统计学意义(P> 0.05);培训后,观察组理论知识、技能操作考核成绩和个人素质能力的成绩高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 OBE理念下3 D仿生模型与考试系统应用于耳鼻咽喉研究生教学中,能够提升住院医师理论知识、技能操作能力。 展开更多

河流水体中溶解氧骤增或耗竭均会引发系列环境污染、物种多样性破坏等问题,准确预测河流溶解氧(DO)浓度对河流水环境治理具有重要意义。为提高模型输入特征的可解释性及模型精度,获取河流DO浓度最优预测模型,研究利用黄河流域山西境内... 河流水体中溶解氧骤增或耗竭均会引发系列环境污染、物种多样性破坏等问题,准确预测河流溶解氧(DO)浓度对河流水环境治理具有重要意义。为提高模型输入特征的可解释性及模型精度,获取河流DO浓度最优预测模型,研究利用黄河流域山西境内水质监测站点数据,以双向长短期记忆网络(BiLSTM)为基础,结合卷积神经网络模型(CNN)和注意力机制(Attention Mechanism),基于随机森林模型(RF)进行特征优选,建立RF-CNN-BiLSTM-Attention(RF-CBA)模型,进一步利用吸血水蛭优化算法(BSLO)、黑翅鸢优化算法(BKA)、白鲨优化算法(WSO)等仿生优化算法,构建了BSLO-RF-CBA、BKA-RF-CBA、WSO-RF-CBA共3种优化模型,并与深度学习中CNN-A、LSTM-A、BiLSTM-A、CBA、RF-CBA模型对比,分析得到河流溶解氧预测结果,以平均绝对误差(MAE)、均方根误差(RMSE)、均方误差(MSE)、决定系数(R2)、全绩效指标(GPI)和相对误差(MAPE)评价不同模型精度,结果表明:(1)RF模型通过对影响河流DO特征值进行排序、筛选,可消除冗余特征对水质预测模型的影响,提高预测精度。(2)利用仿生算法优化RF-CBA模型的神经元数量、学习率、正则化系数等参数,模型模拟精度进一步提升,总体上捕捉到了DO波动的时间序列特征,模型表现出强稳定性和泛化能力。(3)BSLO-RF-CBA模型模拟精度最高,对DO变化捕捉能力突出,具有更强的捕获全局依赖关系的能力,推荐用于河流溶解氧预测模型。该模型具备扩展至不同河流溶解氧等污染物浓度预测的能力,为河流水体污染预警与系统化管理提供技术支撑。 展开更多

针对现有吸盘在粗糙表面以及小结构物体难附着、易脱落问题,仿生水蛭吸盘的凹坑结构,设计一种多褶皱且底部带有小孔阵列的新型吸盘RSS,通过建模和模拟仿真研究吸盘附着机理,实验探究了不同褶皱数量和阵列孔尺寸对吸盘在粗糙表面的垂直... 针对现有吸盘在粗糙表面以及小结构物体难附着、易脱落问题,仿生水蛭吸盘的凹坑结构,设计一种多褶皱且底部带有小孔阵列的新型吸盘RSS,通过建模和模拟仿真研究吸盘附着机理,实验探究了不同褶皱数量和阵列孔尺寸对吸盘在粗糙表面的垂直吸附性能以及水平抗剪切力性能的影响规律。结果表明:在-40 kPa真空度下,多褶皱结构可显著提升RSS吸盘的垂直吸附性能,最大提升约为87.9%,孔径大小对垂直吸附性能影响不大。在接触150目和800目砂纸时,孔径0.5 mm和1 mm对双褶皱和三褶皱吸盘水平抗剪切力影响较小,当孔径增加到1.5 mm时,水平抗剪切力值出现最大40.5%的增幅。当砂纸目数达到1600目时,水平抗剪切力值随着孔径的增大而增大。对于单褶皱吸盘,小孔孔径对水平抗剪切性能无明显影响。 展开更多
