Multivariate analysis was adopted to analyze 30 morphometrical characteristics of 121 one-year-old juvenile silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) and bighead carp (Aristichthys nobilis) bred during the 1950s ("the former population") and 2008 ("the current population") and collected from the middle reach of the Yangtze River. The average discriminant accuracies of the former and current silver and bighead carp population were 94.2% and 98.0%, respectively. Discriminant analysis also revealed that significant differences in morphology occurred between the former and current populations of both carp in overall characteristics. One-way analysis of variance indicated that between former and current populations, silver carp showed highly significant differences (P0.01) in twelve of their characteristics and significant differences (P0.05) in eight of their characteristics, while bighead carp showed highly significant differences (P0.01) in eight of their characteristics and significant differences (P0.05) in eight of their characteristics. Six head morphology variables of the current silver and bighead carp were significantly or highly significantly larger than the former populations; fourteen characteristics of silver carp and ten characteristics of bighead carp of the current populations, mainly reflecting truck and tail morphology, were significantly or very significantly smaller than the former populations. Our results indicate that silver and bighead carp have developed a larger head and smaller truck and tail during the last 50 years. Due to such morphological changes, it seems apparent that the heads of these fish species need to be considered in regards to human diets, particularly in relation to economic and nutritious value. 展开更多

Myosin subfragment-1 was prepared from the myofibrils of bighead carp (Aristichthys nobilis). The myosin subfrag- ment-1 was proved to have the activity of tripolyphosphatase (TPPase) responding to the hydrolysis of sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP). The optimum temperature and pH for the TPPase of myosin subfragment-1 were 30℃ and pH 5.0, and at pH 8.0 the TPPase also showed a high activity. Mg2+ was necessary to TPPase. The TPPase activity of myosin subfragment-1 was activated by Mg2+ under low concentrations, but was inhibited when the concentration was over 17 mmolL-1. The TPPase activity was also affected by KCl. The optimum concentration of KCl for TPPase was 0.3 molL-1 under the condition of 17 mmolL-1 Mg2+. The TPPase activity was significantly inhibited by EDTA-Na2. Reagents such as KBr, KI and KIO3 could inhibit the TPPase effectively. K2Cr2O7 as well as KMnO7 and KNO3 exhibited weak inhibiting effects. The TPPase converted STPP to pyrophosphate (PP) and orthophosphate (Pi) stoichiometrically with a KM of 3.2 mmolL-1. 展开更多

Although intestinal fungi play important roles in host health and disease,the composition and diversity of fungal communities remain poorly reported in fish.In this study,fungi in the fore-,mid-,and hindintestine of tilapia(Oreochromis mossambicus)and bighead carp(Aristichthys nobilis)from Hongchaojiang Reservoir in Guangxi,China were investigated by ITS sequencing.Based on this,we obtained 1763478 high-quality tags,which clustered into 1089 operational taxonomic units(OTUs).In total,404 OTUs were annotated,of which 310,68,and 26 belonged to Ascomycota,Basidiomycota,and other,respectively.Results show significant differences in the community composition of intestinal fungi between tilapia and bighead carp but not within their different intestinal segments.Furthermore,154 of the 404 annotated OTUs were considered reliable and were classified into three trophic modes and nine guilds.The three trophic modes consisted of 108 OTUs of saprotrophic fungi,41 OTUs of pathotrophic fungi,and five OTUs of symbiotrophic fungi.The top three most abundant OTUs overall(i.e.,Otu000002,Scopulariopsis acremonium;Otu000018,Alternaria palandui;Otu000034,Aureobasidium pullulans)showed lower abundance in the hind-intestinal segments of bighead carp,suggesting uneven distribution of these fungi in this species.In addition,saprotrophic and pathotrophic fungi were markedly decreased in the hindintestine.It is indicated that the fungal community was not only related to host species specificity but also to the respective physiological functions of different intestinal segments.These findings provide valuable information on the composition,structure,and potential function of the intestinal fungi community associated with different intestinal segments in tilapia and bighead carp under natural conditions,thus highlighting the importance of fungi as an integral part of the inte stinal microbiota in maintaining host health. 展开更多

The relationship between crustacean zooplankton and(planktivorous)fish has not been well clarified in bigheaded-carps-dominated reservoirs,for most of the past studies to explore that kind of knowledge above are often obtained from the studies in temperate lakes and/or shallow lakes.The limitation of these studies is that crustacean zooplankton lack of either large grazers such as the bigheaded carps or the vertical migrating space for zooplankton to avoid predation by planktivorous fish.Reservoirs are more and more important drinking water source for human consumption,so a better environmental management of reservoirs will rely on a better understanding on the relationship between zooplankton and fish in bigheaded carp dominated reservoirs.To help reach that goal,we investigated the structure and variation of zooplankton and studied the relationship between zooplankton and fish in Tangpu reservoir,Zhejiang province,China.Our results showed that the species of crustacean zooplankton were richer.A total of 59 species of crustacean zooplankton were detected,including 33 species of copepods and 26 species of cladoceran,and dominated by larger species.The density of crustacean zooplankton varied between 15.5–68.5 ind./L with an annual average density of 24.9±14.4 ind./L,it is higher in this planktivorous carps dominated deep reservoir than in many carp-less-dominated reservoirs or in shallow lakes.We also found that zooplankton and fish had a differential vertical distribution,i.e.,zooplankton occurred 5 m–10 m but fish occurred 0.5 m–10 m in many months of the year.This could well explain why zooplankton were not reduced and not dominated by small species in bigheaded carps dominated reservoir,so we concluded that in planktivorous carp dominated deep reservoir ecosystems,zooplankton might not compete directly with planktivorous carps for phytoplankton,instead by distributing or migrating to deeper water column,they may survive and thrive on the phytoplankton in deeper column and the detritus resulted from the feces of planktivorous fish,thus might be able to coordinately improve water quality with planktivorous fish. 展开更多

Comparisons of oxbow lake fish assemblages in relation to bigheaded carp establishment in the lower White River, Arkansas

Background Since the late 1990s,bigheaded carps(largely silver carp[Hypophthalmichthys molitrix]but also bighead carp[H.nobilis])have established throughout the lower Mississippi River basin.Using previously studied oxbow lakes in the lower White River basin,Arkansas,we compared current(2017,“post-carp”establishment)fish assemblages to historical(2002,“pre-carp”establishment)fish assemblages.Fish assemblages were comprehensively assessed using multiple gears,including boat electrofishing,mini-fyke nets,and experimental small-mesh gill nets.Results T-tests suggested that fish assemblage indices of richness,diversity,evenness,and dominance were often greater(P<0.05)during the post-carp period as reflected by boat electrofishing and experimental gill nets.However,all indices were generally similar(P>0.05)between the pre-carp and post-carp period with fish assemblages depicted using mini-fyke nets.Nonmetric multidimensional scaling analyses indicated that fish assemblages differed structurally between pre-carp and post-carp periods.Assemblage differences were linked to both small and large abundance changes for more than 20 species.Abundances of gizzard shad(Dorosoma cepedianum),emerald shiner(Notropis atherinoides),pugnose minnow(Opsopoeodus emiliae),crappies(Pomoxis spp.),bluegill(Lepomis macrochirus),orangespotted sunfish(L.humilis),and yellow bass(Morone mississippiensis)declined between the pre-carp and postcarp periods.Conversely,abundances of weed shiner(N.texanus),pallid shiner(Hybopsis amnis),longear sunfish(L.megalotis),buffalofishes(Ictiobus spp.),and gars(Lepisosteus spp.)generally increased during the same period.Conclusions Although not possible to conclude assemblage shifts were entirely related to bigheaded carps due to the absence of an appropriate reference system where carps did not establish,the wide establishment of these carps is one of the most pervasive changes to have occurred in the lower White River ecosystem during the past two decades.Thus,it is probable to conclude that post-carp establishment observations from this study were at least,in part,attributable to bigheaded carp establishment.Impacts of further range expansions by bigheaded carps in the White River and other lower Mississippi River sub-basins are unclear,though this study suggests probable effects on native fish assemblages,underscoring the need for further research and monitoring. 展开更多

【目的】探究鲢、鳙配比对山仔水库浮游植物群落结构和环境因子的影响,为通过增殖放流技术防控水库富营养化提供依据。【方法】设置鲢、鳙投放比例分别为2∶1(1#箱)、4∶1(2#箱)、6∶1(3#箱)3个生态围隔组(鱼类总密度为50 g·m^(-3)... 【目的】探究鲢、鳙配比对山仔水库浮游植物群落结构和环境因子的影响,为通过增殖放流技术防控水库富营养化提供依据。【方法】设置鲢、鳙投放比例分别为2∶1(1#箱)、4∶1(2#箱)、6∶1(3#箱)3个生态围隔组(鱼类总密度为50 g·m^(-3)),1个对照围隔组(4#箱,不投放鲢、鳙),1个库区组,每组设3个平行,试验为期3个月。【结果】试验期间共监测出浮游植物7门84属,丰度为1.09×10^(4)~13.6×10^(4)个·L^(-1),鲢、鳙配比为4∶1的浮游植物属数最多。鲢、鳙生态箱的浮游植物丰度低于库区。试验末期(7月份),鲢、鳙生态箱绿藻门丰度占比降低,库区绿藻门丰度占比升高,表明鲢、鳙能有效降低绿藻门丰度,其中,鲢、鳙配比为2∶1对绿藻门藻类抑制效果最为明显。作为试验初期(5月份)1#、2#箱优势种的硅藻门小环藻属、曲壳藻属藻类在试验末期(7月份)消失。各生态箱的水质呈弱碱性;鲢、鳙生态箱的氨氮含量、叶绿素含量均明显低于库区,达到了去除氨氮和控藻的效果;1#、3#箱的高锰酸盐指数较低,且这两个生态箱水体的透明度最高,表明鲢、鳙配比为2∶1或6∶1的水质状况最好。【结论】运用鲢、鳙预防山仔水库水华发生,建议鲢、鳙投放比例为2∶1。 展开更多

【目的】采用16S rRNA基因高通量测序方法探究鲢、鳙配比对山仔水库微生物群落结构及其多样性的影响,为鲢、鳙增殖放流以控制蓝藻、改善生态环境提供依据。【方法】试验于2023年4—7月在山仔水库进行。在4个容积均为27 m^(3)的围隔池中... 【目的】采用16S rRNA基因高通量测序方法探究鲢、鳙配比对山仔水库微生物群落结构及其多样性的影响,为鲢、鳙增殖放流以控制蓝藻、改善生态环境提供依据。【方法】试验于2023年4—7月在山仔水库进行。在4个容积均为27 m^(3)的围隔池中,鲢、鳙的投放比例分别为2∶1(C1组)、4∶1(C2组)、6∶1(C3组)、0∶0(C4组,为空白对照组),另设池外库区对照组(C5组)。C1~C3组鲢、鳙投放总密度均为50.00 g·m^(-3)。采用16S rRNA基因高通量测序方法分析各处理微生物群落结构及其多样性。【结果】测序获得5041个操作分类单元(OTU)的序列,归属于30门53纲133目223科417属,门水平下的最优势菌群为蓝藻门(Cyanobacteria),纲水平下的最优势菌群为生氧光细菌纲(Oxyphotobacteria),属水平下的最优势菌群为双色藻属(Cyanobium_PCC-6307)和微囊藻属(Microcystis_PCC-7914)。C1~C4组微生物群落的丰富度差异均不显著,C1~C3组与C5组的差异显著。门水平下,C1~C3组微生物群落聚为一支,C4组与C5组聚为另一支,聚类结果与蓝藻门丰度有关。PCoA分析结果与聚类结果相符。鲢、鳙投放能明显减少蓝藻,起到控制蓝藻的效果。微生物群落的丰富度和多样性与水温、溶解氧含量的相关性显著,而与鲢、鳙投放密度的相关性不显著。【结论】鲢、鳙投放比例为4∶1时具有相对较好的水质净化和蓝藻控制效果。 展开更多

[目的]调查贵州省铜仁市部分地区市售鱼类嗜水气单胞菌流行情况和耐药性,为该病的防治提供科学依据。[方法]2022年2月-2023年5月从铜仁市部分乡镇超市、集贸市场和饭店采集5种、182尾鱼组织样本,调查嗜水气单胞菌流行情况;采用药敏试验测定本研究分离获得的嗜水气单胞菌对常见抗菌药的耐药性。[结果]182尾鱼中有18尾感染嗜水气单胞菌,平均检出率为9.89%,其中鲤、鲫、鳊、草鱼和黄颡鱼检出率分别为9.68%、6.12%、11.76%、11.54%和11.86%;不同季节中以夏季和秋季来源样品检出率偏高,分别为14.29%和12.73%,而春季和冬季检出率偏低,分别为8.11%和2.44%;集贸市场、超市和饭店来源样品嗜水气单胞菌检出率分别为5.88%、9.90%和16.67%。18株嗜水气单胞菌对阿莫西林、利福平和新霉素耐药率均超过70%,对氟苯尼考、庆大霉素、复方新诺明、头孢他啶、环丙沙星和左氧氟沙星敏感率均超过70%。[结论]铜仁市部分地区市售鱼类存在嗜水气单胞菌感染,对公共健康具有潜在的威胁。 展开更多

试验旨在探究菌藻组合对鲢鳙鱼生长性能和养殖水体水质的影响。试验在大水面养殖条件下,选取体重为(41.35±0.50)g的鲢鳙鱼2400尾,鲢鳙比例3:1,随机分为对照组(CO组)、T1组、T2组、T3组共4组,每组3个重复,每个重复200尾。各试验组每... 试验旨在探究菌藻组合对鲢鳙鱼生长性能和养殖水体水质的影响。试验在大水面养殖条件下,选取体重为(41.35±0.50)g的鲢鳙鱼2400尾,鲢鳙比例3:1,随机分为对照组(CO组)、T1组、T2组、T3组共4组,每组3个重复,每个重复200尾。各试验组每15 d在养殖水体中泼洒1次菌藻,其中T1组添加6.25 mL/L小球藻,T2组添加0.75 mg/L EM菌,T3组添加6.25 mL/L小球藻+0.75 mg/L EM菌混合液。CO组不添加菌藻。试验期90d。结果显示,T3组增重率、特定生长率、肥满度均显著高于其他组(P<0.05);各试验组成活率均显著高于CO组(P<0.05)。试验第45、第60、第75、第90天时,各试验组养殖水体总氮(TN)、总磷(TP)含量均显著低于CO组(P<0.05)。试验第45、第60天时,各试验组养殖水体高锰酸盐指数(CODMn)显著低于CO组(P<0.05)。试验第30、第45、第60天时,T1组养殖水体氨氮(NH_(3)-N)含量显著低于CO组(P<0.05);试验第30天时,T2组、T3组养殖水体NH_(3)-N含量显著高于CO组(P<0.05),试验第45天时显著低于CO组(P<0.05)。试验第30天时,各试验组养殖水体硝酸盐氮(NO_(3)-N)含量显著低于CO组(P<0.05)。试验第15天时,T2组和T3组养殖水体亚硝酸盐氮(NO_(2)-N)含量显著低于CO组(P<0.05)。研究表明,小球藻和EM菌对鲢鳙鱼养殖水体具有良好的净化作用,且小球藻和EM菌协同净化效果强于单一菌藻,即两者协同能够更好地降低养殖水中TN、TP、NH_(3)-N、NO_(2)-N的含量及CODMn。 展开更多

从传统霉鱼中分离筛选到一株清酒乳杆菌,并命名为1-3,在MRS液体培养基中的最佳培养条件为pH 8,温度25℃。该菌可耐受0.10 g/mL NaCl,对沙雷氏菌、金黄色葡萄球菌和嗜麦芽窄食单孢菌具有抑制作用。为探究该菌株纯种发酵生产霉鱼的可行性... 从传统霉鱼中分离筛选到一株清酒乳杆菌,并命名为1-3,在MRS液体培养基中的最佳培养条件为pH 8,温度25℃。该菌可耐受0.10 g/mL NaCl,对沙雷氏菌、金黄色葡萄球菌和嗜麦芽窄食单孢菌具有抑制作用。为探究该菌株纯种发酵生产霉鱼的可行性,将该菌株应用于接种发酵霉鱼,其色泽和质构与自然发酵霉鱼无显著性差异。电子鼻结果表明,接种发酵比自然发酵霉鱼对硫化物响应度高,对甲基类的响应度低。自然发酵与接种发酵霉鱼中分别检出41种和54种挥发性风味物质,自然发酵霉鱼中醇类物质相对含量最高,显著高于接种发酵霉鱼;接种发酵霉鱼中挥发性物质以芳香类为主,为(35.23±0.98)%;其酯类物质更为丰富。菌株1-3接种发酵霉鱼各类风味物质较为均衡,造就霉鱼酯香、甜香等多层次风味特征,该菌株具有进一步工业化生产纯种发酵霉鱼的开发潜力。 展开更多
