Clinical Practice of Evidence-Based PDCA Cycle Management Model in Accelerated Recovery of Lung Cancer Patients

Objective: To explore the nursing effect of evidence-based PDCA cycle management mode in accelerated rehabilitation of patients undergoing thoracoscopic lung cancer radical surgery. Methods: 104 patients who underwent thoracoscopic lung cancer radical surgery in our hospital from June 2022 to February 2023 were randomly divided into control group and intervention group, with 52 cases in each group. The control group implemented evidence-based ERAS clinical pathway management, while the intervention group implemented evidence-based PDCA cycle quality management. The postoperative recovery of the two groups of patients was compared. Results: The postoperative recovery of the intervention group was significantly better than that of the control group. The first time to get out of bed, the first time to eat, the duration of chest drainage tube placement, and the length of hospital stay were significantly shorter than those of the control group. The incidence of postoperative chest complications and hospitalization costs were significantly lower than those of the control group, and patient satisfaction was significantly higher than that of the control group (P Conclusion: Evidence-based PDCA cycle quality management mode can effectively improve the implementation quality of accelerated rehabilitation nursing for patients undergoing thoracoscopic lung cancer radical surgery, and it is worthy of clinical promotion. 展开更多

A kind of solar thermochemical cycle based on methanothermal reduction of SnO2 is proposed for H2 and CO production. We find that the oxygen release capacity and thermodynamic driven force for methanothermal reduction of SnO2 are large, and suggest CH4 :SnO2 = 2:1 as the feasible reduction condition for achieving high purities of syngas and avoiding vaporization of produced Sn. Subsequently, the amount of H2 and energetic upgrade factors under different oxidation conditions are compared, in which excess water vapor is found beneficial for hydrogen production and fuel energetic upgradation. Moreover, the effect of incom plete recovery of SnO2 on the subsequent cycle is underscored and explained. After accounting for factors such as isothermal operation and cycle stability, CH4 :SnO2 = 2:1 and H2O:Sn = 4:1 are suggested for highest solar-to-fuel efficiency of 46.1% at nonisothermal condition, where the reduction and oxidation temperature are 1400 and 600 K, respectively. 展开更多

The fatigue test between 10^5—10^9 cycles of GH4169 nickel‑based superalloy commonly used in aircraft engines is carried out by ultrasonic fatigue machine at 650℃.The S‑N curve is obtained and the fatigue fracture morphology is observed.The fatigue S‑N curve presents a“step‑like”shape,with the first inflection point near 1×10^7 cycles and the second inflection point near 1×10^8 cycles.There is no engineering fatigue limit,and it still shows a downward trend after 107 or even 10^9 cycles.The crack initiation location is related to its life.Cracks are generated on the surface below 10^7 cycles,while it is inside above 10^7 cycles.The crack initiation source in the ultra‑high cycle fatigue at 650℃ is mainly the local intergranular fracture and casting defect of the matrix.In the phase of crack propagation,the mixed propagation of intergranular and cleavage is the main form. 展开更多

The results show that: at 70 times of cool heat cycles, there were microcracks found in seven times revert and ten times revert. With the increasing of thermal fatigue cycles, the crack of revert grows a little faster than virgin. When the cycle time reaches 200, the crack length for both virgin and reverts have been as long as 2mm. The low cycle fatigue life has no remarkable change, with the increase of revert cycles at 815℃, 360MPa ,0 5Hz. With the times of cycles increasing, it is found that the content of impurity and gas in alloy change a little, and there is no obvious change for dendrite microstructure. 展开更多

The influence of gas high-temperature hot corrosion(HTHC) pre-exposure on low-cycle fatigue(LCF)behavior was characterized for the directionally solidified(DS) Ni-based superalloy DZ125. Fatigue tests were carried out at 850 ℃ in the pre-exposed and unexposed specimens for 2, 15 and 25 h. Experimental results show that the porous corrosion scale and γ′-depleted layer formed in gas hot corrosion condition alter the crack initiation mechanisms of the superalloy. Fatigue cracks of the pre-exposed specimens originate from multiple surface locations where spalling of the corrosion products occur,while nucleation of unexposed specimen begins in the defects close to the surface. There is a significant reduction in LCF behavior for pre-exposed specimens in comparison with unexposed specimens. 展开更多

The low-cycle fatigue (LCF) behavior of a nickel-based single crystal superalloy with [001] orientation was studied at an intermediate temperature of T0℃ and a higher temperature of To + 250℃ under a constant low strain rate of 10^-3 s^-1 in ambient atmosphere. The superalloy exhibited cyclic tension-compression asymmetry which is dependent on the temperature and applied strain amplitude. Analysis on the fracture surfaces showed that the surface and subsurface casting micropores were the major crack initiation sites. Interior Ta-rich carbides were frequently observed in all specimens. Two distinct types of fracture were suggested by fractogaphy. One type was characterized by Mode-I cracking with a microscopically rough surface at To + 250℃. Whereas the other type at lower temperature T0℃ favored either one or several of the octahedral {111} planes, in contrast to the normal Mode-I growth mode typically observed at low loading frequencies (several Hz). The failure mechanisms for two cracking modes are shearing of γ' precipitates together with the matrix at T0℃ and cracking confined in the matrix and the γ/γ'interface at To - 250℃. 展开更多

Energy-based models for predicting the low-cycle fatigue life of high-strength structural steels are presented. The models are based on energy dissipation during average of cycles, cycles to crack propagation and total cycles to failure. Plastic strain energy per cycle was determined and found as an important characteristic for initiation and propagation of fatigue cracks for high-strength structural steels. Fatigue strain-life curves were generated using plastic energy dissipation per cycle (loop area) and compared with the Coffin-Manson relation. Low cycle fatigue life was found similar from both methods. The material showed Masing-type behavior. The cyclic hysterisis energy per cycle was calculated from cyclic stress-strain parameters. The fracture surfaces of the fatigue samples were characterized by scanning electron microscope and the fracture mechanisms were discussed. 展开更多

The objective of this project was to characterize the freeze-thaw properties of recycled concrete(RCA)and asphalt(RAP)as unbound base and to assess how they behaved in the field for nearly 8 years.This paper includes an examination of existing information,laboratory studies of freeze-thaw behavior,and evaluation of data from Mn ROAD field-test sections in a seasonally cold region,i.e.,in Minnesota,USA.Test sections were constructed using recycled materials in the granular base layers at the Mn ROAD test facility.One test section included 100%RAP,another 100%RCA,a third one a 50/50blend of RCA/natural aggregate,and a fourth one only natural aggregate(Class 5)as a control.The stiffness(i.e.,elastic modulus)was monitored during construction and throughout the pavement life by the Minnesota Department of Transportation,along with the variation of temperatures and moisture regimes in the pavement to determine their effects on pavement performance.The resilient modulus of each material was determined by bench-scale testing in accordance with NCHRP 1-28a,as well as by field-scale tests incorporating a falling-weight deflectometer.Specimens were subjected to as many as 20 cycles of freeze-thaw in the laboratory,and the change in their resilient modulus was measured.In the field-test sections constructed with the same materials as the base course,temperature,moisture,and field modulus(from fallingweight deflectometer tests)were monitored seasonally for nearly 8 years.From the temperatures in the base course layer,the number of freeze-thaw cycles experienced in the field was determined for each test section.Inferences were made relative to modulus change versus freeze-thaw cycles.Conclusions were drawn for long-term field performances of the recycled base(RAB)in comparison to natural aggregate. 展开更多

Based on experiments of low cycle fatigue for 5083-H112 aluminum alloy, two energybased predictive models have been introduced to predict the fatigue crack growth behaviors of traditional Compact Tension(CT) and small-sized C-shaped Inside Edge-notched Tension(CIET)specimens with different thicknesses and load ratios. Different values of the effective stress ratio U are employed in the theoretical fatigue crack growth models to correct the effect of crack closure.Results indicate that the two predictive models show different capacities of predicting the fatigue crack growth behaviors of CIET and CT specimens with different thicknesses and load ratios.The accuracy of predicted results of the two models is strongly affected by the method for determination of the effective stress ratio U. Finally, the energy-based Shi&Cai model with crack closure correction by means of Newman's method is highly recommended in prediction of fatigue crack growth of CIET specimens via low cycle fatigue properties. 展开更多

The cycle life of oxygen carrier(OC) is crucial to the practical applications of chemical looping combustion(CLC). Cycle performance of Cu/SiO2 prepared with a mechanical mixing method was evaluated based on a CLC process characterized with an added methane steam reforming step. The Cu/SiO2 exhibited high redox reactivity in the initial cycles, while the performance degraded with cycle number. Through characterization of the degraded Cu/SiO2, the performance degradation was mainly caused by the secondary particles' fragmentation and the fine particles' local agglomeration, which worsened the distribution and diffusion of the reactive gases in the packed bed. A regeneration method of the degraded OC based on re-granulation has been proposed, and its mechanism has been illustrated. With this method, the performance of the degraded OC through 420 redox cycles was recovered to a level close to the initial one. 展开更多

Cycle base theory of a graph has been well studied in abstract mathematical field such matroid theory as Whitney and Tutte did and found many applications in prat-ical uses such as electric circuit theory and structure analysis, etc. In this paper graph embedding theory is used to investigate cycle base structures of a 2-(edge)-connected graph on the sphere and the projective plane and it is shown that short cycles do generate the cycle spaces in the case of 'small face-embeddings'. As applications the authors find the exact formulae for the minimum lengthes of cycle bases of some types of graphs and present several known results. Infinite examples shows that the conditions in their main results are best possible and there are many 3-connected planar graphs whose minimum cycle bases can not be determined by the planar formulae but may be located by re-embedding them into the projective plane. 展开更多

The integration of refinery and petrochemical units(IRPUs)has become an inevitable choice for the sustainable development of petrochemical industry.The utilization efficiency of petroleum resources could be improved obviously through IRPUs.However,integrating economic and environmental impacts into the model of IRPUs is still a grand challenge.Herein,a model called TEA-GHG-OPWM(Techno-Economic Analysis and GreenHouse Gases Oriented Plant-Wide Model)has been established on Aspen HYSYSTM platform to calculate the energy consumption,the technoeconomic performance,and the GHG emissions for two different kinds of schemes,viz,:VRHCU(Vacuum Residue Hydrocracking Unit)and VRDS-RFCC(Vacuum Residue Desulfurization and Residue Fluid Catalytic Cracking).Furthermore,a novel processing pathway named VGOHDT-HTMP-DC(Vacuum Gas Oil Hydrotreating,Hydrogenation and TMP coupling process and Delayed Coking)has also been developed to find methods to improve the economic performance based on a ten-million-CNY output value(TMYOV)and a reduced GHG emissions.Our results demonstrate that VRHCRU could consume more energy and emit more GHG(877.11 t of CO2 eq·TMYOV^-1·h^-1)than VRDS-RFCC(817.03 t of CO2 eq·TMYOV^-1·h^-1)and VGOHDT-HTMP-DC(721.96 t of CO2 eq·TMYOV^-1·h^-1),while obtaining a higher mass yield of petrochemicals.The VGOHDT-HTMP-DC process exhibits the lowest feedstock consumption,hydrogen consumption,energy consumption,and GHG emissions,indicating that VGOHDT-HTMP-DC has both well economic and environmentally friendly performance. 展开更多

The effects of recrystallization on low cycle fatigue behavior were investigated on directionally solidified Co-base superalloy DZ40M. Optical microscopy and SEM were used to examine the microstructure and fracture surface of the specimens. The mechanical testing results demonstrated that the low cycle fatigue property of DZ40M significantly decreased with the partial recrystallization. Fatigue cracks initiate near the carbides and the grain boundaries with slip-bands. Both the fatigue crack initiation and propagation can be accelerated with the occurrences of recrystallized grain boundaries. 展开更多

The degradation of La 0.8 Pr 0.2 Ni 3.55 Co 0.75 Mn 0.4 Al 0.3 alloy electrode during charge discharge cycles was studied with analytical electron microscope (AEM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). During the cycles, the alloy particles of the negative electrode were pulverized gradually. After 200 cycles, the pulverizing process basically ended and the larger particles were pulverized to below 10 μm. The particles were oxided at the rate of about 0.1 μm/100 times cycles. The oxide layer was porous and consisted of the La(OH) 3 and oxides of Pr, Co and Ni. Most of Pr, Mn and almost all of Al in the oxide layer were dissolved into the electrolyte. The oxidation of the alloy particles was one of the main factors of the decay of the discharge capacity of the negative electrode during the cycles. 展开更多
