By using wireless communication technology, when wired network of grassroots station is failure, wireless backup system of meteorological data transmission can automatically switch, and transmit the data at the station with line fault to the destination by short message way. The system has simple operation and low operation cost, and transmission fault of real-time meteorological data due to line problem at the station can be effectively decreased. The model consisting of petri nets,depicts the system behaviors of unit level,system logic level and phase level. Guard functions of petri nets are used to avoid modeling complexity and make the model flexible to different reliability logical structures. The method implements a blocklevel storage optimization, by employing the algorithms of chunking image file into blocks, the blockffmger calculation and the block dedup li cation. A File system in Use Space (FUSE) based storage process for VDeskCAS is also introduced which optimizes current direct storage to suit our content addressable storage. An interface level modification makes our system easy to extend. Experiments on virtual desktop image files and normal files verify the effectiveness of our method and above 60% storage volume decrease is a chieved for Red Hat Enterprise Linux image files. In wide area backup protection of electric power systems, the prerequisite of protection device's accurate, fast and reliable performance is its corresponding fault type and fault location can be discriminated quickly and defined exactly. In our study, global information will be introduced into the backup protection system. By analyzing and computing real-time PMU measurements, basing on cluster analysis theory, we are using mainly hierarchical cluster analysis to search after the statistical laws of electrical quantities' marked changes. Then we carry out fast and exact detection of fault components and fault sections, and finally accomplish fault isolation. The facts show that the fault detection of fault component (fault section) can be performed successfully by hierarchical cluster analysis and calculation. The results of hierarchical cluster analysis are accurate and reliable, and the dendrograms of hierarchical cluster analysis are in intuition. 展开更多

Stochastic Modeling of Database Backup Policy for a Computer System

As the computer system has developed much in this highly information-oriented society, database security has become a very important problem and its backup strategies need to be made more efficiently and safety. The image copy method has been used as the most simple and dependable recovery mechanism for media failure. However, this method spends high overhead costs for massive data transmission and much processing time in the normal operation of the database. To cover such weak points, incremental and full backup methods are adopted before updated trucks reach a predetermined level. Moreover, when the number of full backup files exceeded a predetermined level, we stop incremental and full backups and switch it to the image copy. This paper applies cumulative damage model to backup of files in a database system, by putting damage shock by update, failure shock by database failure and damage by dumped files, and considers the tradeoff among overhead costs of image copy and incremental, full backup methods, and discusses analytically an optimal policy for the image copy backup interval. Finally, numerical examples are given in the case of Poisson process and exponential distributions. 展开更多

This paper presents a practical pricing model for backup reserve and wheeling, which attains a balanced strategy that ensures perceived benefits to both the buyer and the seller. The model and the associated computerized algorithm deal collectively with diverse issues, including: (1) fulfilling local firm real (and reactive) power demand requirements, (2) fulfilling local power reserve requirements, (3) buying firm real (and reactive) power from the grid, (4) buying reserve power from the grid, (5) exporting firm real (and reactive) power demand to remote load centers via the grid, (6) exporting reserve power via the grid, (7) wheeling of firm power demand to remote owned sites using the grid, and (8) wheeling reserve power to remote owned sites using grid. Practical implementation features of the computerized algorithms are also discussed with an illustrative case example. 展开更多

In view of the deficiencies in aspects such as failure rate requirements and analysis assumptions of advisory circular,this paper investigates the sources of high safety requirements,and the top-down design method for the flight control system life cycle.Correspondingly,measures are proposed,including enhancing the safety target value to 10^(−10)per flight hour and implementing development assurance.In view of the shortcomings of mainstream aircraft flight control systems,such as weak backup capability and complex fault reconfiguration logic,improvements have been made to the system’s operating modes,control channel allocation,and common mode failure mitigation schemes based on the existing flight control architecture.The flight control design trends and philosophies have been analyzed.A flight control system architecture scheme is proposed,which includes three operating modes and multi-level voters/monitors,three main control channels,and a backup system independent of the main control system,which has been confirmed through functional modeling simulations.The proposed method plays an important role in the architecture design of safety-critical flight control system. 展开更多

论空分装置建立健全后备系统的重要性

针对空分装置因非计划停车导致氧气、氮气供应中断,进而引发下游装置停工的问题,为了提升空分装置的运行可靠性和经济性,通过分析某空分装置后备系统的现状与缺陷,结合工艺流程对比与经济效益测算,提出了建立健全液氧与液氮后备系统的... 针对空分装置因非计划停车导致氧气、氮气供应中断,进而引发下游装置停工的问题,为了提升空分装置的运行可靠性和经济性,通过分析某空分装置后备系统的现状与缺陷,结合工艺流程对比与经济效益测算,提出了建立健全液氧与液氮后备系统的具体建议。结果表明,配备健全的后备系统可显著减少非计划停车带来的经济损失,年均避免利润损失约748.8万元,同时提高了系统安全性和运行稳定性。后备系统的建立应依据下游需求确定规模,并严格遵循安全规范进行设计与实施。 展开更多

[Method] The current situations and business requirements of municipal meteorological networks are analyzed, putting forward the idea of backup routes that using VPDN-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system as the ground transmission line. And the network structure, operation mode and the system implementation are described in detail. [Result] VPDN-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system realizes the backup of ground line. Compared with the Modem dial-up, it is more stable and with faster transferring speed. With the rapid development of communication technology and computer technology, the information transmission system will be more efficient and stable, and will play a greater role in meteorological information transmission. [Conclusion] With the continuous development of modern meteorology, various types of meteorological data increase, presenting higher demand for the meteorological information transmission system. 后备盘报警功能是核电厂重要功能之一,可在核电厂非预期运行状态下,以声光报警的方式提供详细报警信息,使操纵员知悉并迅速做出响应。基于NASPIC平台实现的反应堆保护系统,常规的后备盘报警一般采用通过网络发送至非安全级DCS系统进行... 后备盘报警功能是核电厂重要功能之一,可在核电厂非预期运行状态下,以声光报警的方式提供详细报警信息,使操纵员知悉并迅速做出响应。基于NASPIC平台实现的反应堆保护系统,常规的后备盘报警一般采用通过网络发送至非安全级DCS系统进行逻辑实现的方式,该实现方式可能存在信号传输路径较长,响应时间差和非安故障将导致故障无法按预期报出等相关问题。该文依据NASPIC平台的功能和性能特性,提出了在安全级侧实现后备盘报警的方式,即采用NASPIC平台传输站实现后备盘报警逻辑处理,传输站接收后备盘报警相关的操作指令。该种报警方式具有信号传输路径较短、功能相对独立和响应时间快等优点,目前已成功应用在试验堆项目中。 展开更多
