Methods: the data of 80 patients with mixed hemorrhoids collected from May 2019 to March 2021 in Suzhou Xiangcheng District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were collected and sorted out. The patients who had incomplete data, were participating in other researchers and did not meet the standard were divided into two groups according to the order of admission (control group and observation group, 40 patients in each group). The control group used fluid replacement control methods, including control of fluid replacement volume (intravenous fluid infusion volume and oral intake) and adjustment of infusion speed 2 h after operation. The observation group used the method of auricular point pressing beans and fluid infusion control, and compared the urination of the two groups after operation. Results: in the observation group, the scores of voiding smoothness (1.90±0.32, 1.40±0.29) at 4 h and 5-6 h after operation were lower than those of the control group (2.45±0.41, 1.88±0.31), the time of first urination (2.02±0.98) h was shorter than that of the control group (3.04±1.11) h, the volume of voiding (480.00±20.56)mL was higher than that of the control group (400.00±33.00)mL at 2 h after operation, and the incidence rate of urinary retention (2.5%) was lower than that of the control group (20.0%) Conclusion: auricular acupressure combined with controlled fluid infusion has significant effect in preventing urinary retention after mixed hemorrhoid operation.展开更多

According to acupoint selection along facial nerve trunk initially created by professor Gao Wei-bin, Yifeng（翳风TE 17）, Shangguan（上关GB 3） Sizhukong（丝竹空 TE 23）,temporal branches, Xiaguan（下关 ST 7） Sibai（四白 ST 2）,zygomatic branches, Qianzheng（牵正）Quanliao（颧髎 SI 18）,zygomatic branches, Jiache（颊车 ST 6） Chengjiang（承浆 CV 24）,buccal branches, and Hegu（合谷 LI 4）. The auricular vagus nerve acupoints was added additionally（two distribution points in each cavity of auricular concha were selected）. Electroacupuncture was conducted for30 min/time, once a day, and 6 times/week. One day was free from treatment between 2 weeks. Treatment for 4 weeks was 1 course of treatment, and the effect was observed after 1 course.Results： Cured： 39 cases, markedly effective： 13 cases, effective： 6 cases, ineffective： 3 cases. The cure rate was 65%, and the total effective rate was up to 95.0%.Conclusion： The curative effect of electroacupuncture at facial acupoints combined with electrical stimulation on the auricular vagus nerve points for treatment of chloasma was satisfactory.展开更多
Objective:To explore the effects of acupoint catgut embedding combined with auricular point pressing with beans on symptom management self-efficacy and quality of life in patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NAS...Objective:To explore the effects of acupoint catgut embedding combined with auricular point pressing with beans on symptom management self-efficacy and quality of life in patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)of liver depression and spleen deficiency type.Methods:Sixty patients with NASH of liver depression and spleen deficiency type admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected and divided into an acupoint catgut embedding group(n=30)and a combined group(n=30)using the envelope lottery method.The acupoint catgut embedding group received acupoint catgut embedding intervention,while the combined group received auricular point pressing with beans on the basis of the acupoint catgut embedding group.The two groups were compared in terms of TCM syndrome scores,symptom management self-efficacy[Chronic Disease Self-Efficacy Scale(CDSES)],and quality of life[Chronic Liver Disease Questionnaire(CLDQ)].Results:After intervention,the combined group had lower TCM syndrome scores for both primary and secondary symptoms compared to the acupoint catgut embedding group(P<0.05).The combined group also had higher scores in all dimensions and total score of the CDSES compared to the acupoint catgut embedding group(P<0.05).Similarly,the combined group had higher scores in all dimensions and total score of the CLDQ compared to the acupoint catgut embedding group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint catgut embedding combined with auricular point pressing with beans can effectively improve TCM symptoms,enhance symptom management self-efficacy,and improve quality of life in patients with NASH of liver depression and spleen deficiency type.展开更多
Objective To compare the differences of effect on infantile amblyopia treated with auricular point sticking therapy and regular comprehensive therapy of western medicine.Methods Two hundreds and thirty cases of amblyo...Objective To compare the differences of effect on infantile amblyopia treated with auricular point sticking therapy and regular comprehensive therapy of western medicine.Methods Two hundreds and thirty cases of amblyopia patients were randomly divided into two groups,namely the group of auricular point sticking therapy,which had 120 cases（212 eyes）,and the group of comprehensive therapy,which had 110 cases（194 eyes）.The seed of Semen Vaccariae was applied at the ear point such as the eye,ear Shenmen,the liver,the spleen and the kidney.Regular comprehensive therapy of western medicine included covering method,vision corrected with glasses and fine exercise.Vision improvements of the two groups were observed with a three-year follow up.Results The effective rates of the auricular point sticking therapy group and comprehensive therapy group of ametropic amblyopia were 81.0%（64/79） and 52.2%（36/69）,respectively.The effective rates of anisometropic amblyopia of the two groups were 73.1%（49/67） and 47.7%（31/65）,respectively.And the effective rates of the two groups of strabismic amblyopia were 71.2%（47/66） and 45.0%（27/60）,respectively.The therapeutic effects of auricular point sticking therapy on all kinds of amblyopia were better than those of the comprehensive therapy（all P0.05）.Conclusion The effect of auricular point sticking therapy on infantile amblyopia is better than that of regular comprehensive therapy of western medicine,which can obviously improve the vision of the patients with easy manipulations.展开更多

Indices of heart rate variability were recorded using an Actiheart electrocardiogram recorder at 10 minutes before auricular pressing, in the first half of stimulation and in the second half of stimulation. The results revealed that the standard deviation of all normal to normal intervals and the root mean square of standard deviation of normal to normal intervals were significantly increased after stimulation. The heart rate variability triangular index, very-low-frequency power, low-frequency power, and the ratio of low-frequency to high-frequency power were increased to different degrees after stimulation. Compared with normal controls, the root mean square of standard deviation of normal to normal intervals was significantly increased in anxious students following auricular pressing. These results indicated that auricular pressing can elevate heart rate variability, especially the root mean square of standard deviation of normal to normal intervals in students with pre-exam anxiety.展开更多

Methods Sixty-three middle-aged patients of insomnia were randomly divided into an auricular point sticking group（n=32） and a Diazepam group（n=31）. In the auricular point sticking group, auricular point sticking was given at auricular points Gan（liver）, Pi（spleen）, Shenmen on one side; and in the Diazepam group, 2.5 mg Diazepam was orally administrated, once each day. The clinical therapeutic effects, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index （PSQI） and the Athens Insomnia Scale （AIS） scores were compared before and after treatment in the two groups. Results After treatment for 4 weeks, the total effective rate of 90.6%（29/32） in the auricular point sticking group was better than 61.3%（19/31） in the Diazepam group （P0.01）; the scores of all items in PSQI in the auricular point sticking group, and the sleep quality, sleep time and the total score in the Diazepam group were significantly decreased （all P0.01）; the auricular point sticking group in improvement of sleep quality, falling asleep time, sleep efficacy, somnipathy, hypnotic use, daytime dysfunction and the total score in PSQI, and early awaking, total sleep time, daytime emotion, daytime state, daytime sleepy in AIS was superior to the Diazepam group （P0.05, P0.01）. Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5),we explored the compatibility rules of moxibustion and auricular point prescriptions in the treatment of urinary retention after anorectal sur...Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5),we explored the compatibility rules of moxibustion and auricular point prescriptions in the treatment of urinary retention after anorectal surgery,and further to obtain new prescriptions.Methods:We searched CNKI,Wanfang,VIP and CBM databases for the literature of moxibustion and auricular point therapy for urinary retention after anorectal surgery,collecting complete prescriptions and entering them into the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5).The acupoint frequency,association rules,and combination rules were analyzed by data mining method of software integration.Results:126 moxibustion prescriptions were selected,and the acupoints for urinary retention after anorectal surgery in the literature were analyzed,including 10 acupoints with frequency≥6,9 acupoint combinations with frequency≥26,5 acupoints with association rules,6 core acupoint combinations and 3 new prescription.124 auricular point prescriptions were selected,and the relevant acupoints in the literature were analyzed,including 10 acupoints with frequency of use≥18,15 acupoint combinations with frequency≥40,12 acupoint combinations with association rules,6 core acupoint combinations,and 3 new prescriptions.The core points include Qihai(RN6),Sanyinjiao(SP6),Zhongji(RN3),Guanyuan(RN4).The auricular point therapy is more to select the tenderness points and acupoints that have an impact on the urinary system,mainly including“Pangguang”(CO9),“Shenmen”(TF4),“Shen”(CO10),“Sanjiao”(CO17),“Pizhixia”(AT4),“Niaodao”(HX3),“Fei”(CO14),“Jiaogan”(AH6a).Conclusion:Moxibustion for the treatment of urinary retention is mainly based on invigorating“Primordial Qi”and regulating the functions of“Middle Jiao”(refers to the area of the body just below the diaphragm and above the navel that helps produce delicate nutrients).The entropic clustering of complex systems excavated new prescriptions for the treatment of urinary retention after anorectal surgery,providing new ideas for future research and treatment.展开更多

Objective To explore the effect of auricular point pressure on anesthetic recovery in the patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Methods One hundred and forty patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy...Objective To explore the effect of auricular point pressure on anesthetic recovery in the patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Methods One hundred and forty patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy were randomized into a trial group(52 cases,2 cases dropped out)and a control group(52 cases,2 cases were eliminated).In the control group,the conventional anesthesia program and recovery interventionwere adopted.In the trial group,on the basis of the regimen as the control group,the intervention of auricular point pressure was supplemented.The auricular points on the right side were selected,including sympathetic(AHea),brain(subcortex,AT4),thalamus,exciting point,heart and sore center.One day before operation,the auricular point pressure started;and the auricular points were stimulated specially before anesthesia(TO),at the moment of operation ending(T1),when entering the recovery room,at the moment of the tube removal(T2)and in 10 min of the tube removal(T3),respectively;each auricular point was pressed for 1 min a time.The recovery time of spontaneous breathing,the time of eye opening,the removal time of endotracheal tube,the recovery time of orientation,and the time of exiting recovery room were compared between the two groups.The score of pain visual analogue scale(VAS)and that of Richmond agitation-sedation scale(RASS)at T2,T3 and when exiting recovery room(T4),and the relevant circulatory indexes(heart rate[HR],systolic blood pressure[SBP],diastolic blood pressure[DBP]and mean arterial pressure[MAP])at TO,T1,T2 and T3 were observed in the two groups.Results In the trial group,the recovery time of spontaneous breathing,the time of eye opening,the removal time of endotracheal tube,the recovery time of orientation,the time of exiting recovery room were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.01,P<0.05).The pain VAS and RASS scores at T2,T3 and T4,as well as HR,SBP,DBP and MAP at TO,T1,T2 and T3 were not different statistically between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Auricular point pressure can shorten the recovery time from anesthesia in the patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.展开更多

文摘Objective:To study the curative effect of oral Suanzaoren Decoction(酸枣仁汤)combined with pressing beans at auricular points on insomnia.Methods:80 patients with insomnia were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated by auricular points pressing beans therapy,while the observation group was treated with oral Suanzaoren Decoction combined with auricular points pressing beans therapy.Adjust auricular points pressing beans and decoction once a week,4 times as a course of treatment,totaling 2 courses of treatment.The time of falling asleep,the time of sleeping and the number of awakening before and after treatment were compared in the two groups,and the total effective rate of sleep quality between the two groups was compared.Results:After treatment,the quality of sleep in both groups was better than that before treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01),and the total effective rate of grade I sleep quality in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Oral Suanzaoren Decoction combined with pressing beans at auricular points has a significant effect on insomnia,which is superior to pressing beans at auricular points alone.

文摘Objective To explore the self-experience of burying seeds at auricular points in depressive patients with sleep disorder,so as to seek possible approaches to improve the quality of care.Methods Eleven patients involved in a three-week randomized controlled clinical trial were purposefully interviewed by the experienced,qualified counselor.The process of thematic analysis was applied in this study,the self-experience was discussed and recorded,transcribed,and analyzed accordingly.Results Four themes related to self-experience were extracted,these included the deficiency in relevant support,passive acceptance,distrust,expectation and further advice.Conclusion There was an urgent demand of humane care and emotional support,which might improve compliance of the treatment to some extent in terms of health education.Additionally,medical practitioners should provide the patient with comprehensive support,professional health education,as well as standardize training program for TCM operator and control the operation’s quality.
文摘Objective: to analyze the clinical effect of auricular point pressing beans combined with controlled fluid infusion in preventing urinary retention after mixed hemorrhoid operation. Methods: the data of 80 patients with mixed hemorrhoids collected from May 2019 to March 2021 in Suzhou Xiangcheng District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were collected and sorted out. The patients who had incomplete data, were participating in other researchers and did not meet the standard were divided into two groups according to the order of admission (control group and observation group, 40 patients in each group). The control group used fluid replacement control methods, including control of fluid replacement volume (intravenous fluid infusion volume and oral intake) and adjustment of infusion speed 2 h after operation. The observation group used the method of auricular point pressing beans and fluid infusion control, and compared the urination of the two groups after operation. Results: in the observation group, the scores of voiding smoothness (1.90±0.32, 1.40±0.29) at 4 h and 5-6 h after operation were lower than those of the control group (2.45±0.41, 1.88±0.31), the time of first urination (2.02±0.98) h was shorter than that of the control group (3.04±1.11) h, the volume of voiding (480.00±20.56)mL was higher than that of the control group (400.00±33.00)mL at 2 h after operation, and the incidence rate of urinary retention (2.5%) was lower than that of the control group (20.0%) Conclusion: auricular acupressure combined with controlled fluid infusion has significant effect in preventing urinary retention after mixed hemorrhoid operation.

Results： The statistical analysis on the comparative observation showed there is no significant difference between the therapeutic effects of the two groups. Conclusion, Auricular points sticking-pressure and acupuncture are both effective for menopausal syndrome, and the auricular points sticking pressure is worthy to spread with its easy operation.

文摘Objective： To observe the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture at facial acupoints combined with electrical stimulation on the auricular vagus nerve points for treatment of chloasma.Methods： Sixty patients with chloasma were selected. According to acupoint selection along facial nerve trunk initially created by professor Gao Wei-bin, Yifeng（翳风TE 17）, Shangguan（上关GB 3） Sizhukong（丝竹空 TE 23）,temporal branches, Xiaguan（下关 ST 7） Sibai（四白 ST 2）,zygomatic branches, Qianzheng（牵正）Quanliao（颧髎 SI 18）,zygomatic branches, Jiache（颊车 ST 6） Chengjiang（承浆 CV 24）,buccal branches, and Hegu（合谷 LI 4）. The auricular vagus nerve acupoints was added additionally（two distribution points in each cavity of auricular concha were selected）. Electroacupuncture was conducted for30 min/time, once a day, and 6 times/week. One day was free from treatment between 2 weeks. Treatment for 4 weeks was 1 course of treatment, and the effect was observed after 1 course.Results： Cured： 39 cases, markedly effective： 13 cases, effective： 6 cases, ineffective： 3 cases. The cure rate was 65%, and the total effective rate was up to 95.0%.Conclusion： The curative effect of electroacupuncture at facial acupoints combined with electrical stimulation on the auricular vagus nerve points for treatment of chloasma was satisfactory.
文摘Objective:To explore the effects of acupoint catgut embedding combined with auricular point pressing with beans on symptom management self-efficacy and quality of life in patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)of liver depression and spleen deficiency type.Methods:Sixty patients with NASH of liver depression and spleen deficiency type admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected and divided into an acupoint catgut embedding group(n=30)and a combined group(n=30)using the envelope lottery method.The acupoint catgut embedding group received acupoint catgut embedding intervention,while the combined group received auricular point pressing with beans on the basis of the acupoint catgut embedding group.The two groups were compared in terms of TCM syndrome scores,symptom management self-efficacy[Chronic Disease Self-Efficacy Scale(CDSES)],and quality of life[Chronic Liver Disease Questionnaire(CLDQ)].Results:After intervention,the combined group had lower TCM syndrome scores for both primary and secondary symptoms compared to the acupoint catgut embedding group(P<0.05).The combined group also had higher scores in all dimensions and total score of the CDSES compared to the acupoint catgut embedding group(P<0.05).Similarly,the combined group had higher scores in all dimensions and total score of the CLDQ compared to the acupoint catgut embedding group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint catgut embedding combined with auricular point pressing with beans can effectively improve TCM symptoms,enhance symptom management self-efficacy,and improve quality of life in patients with NASH of liver depression and spleen deficiency type.
文摘Objective To compare the differences of effect on infantile amblyopia treated with auricular point sticking therapy and regular comprehensive therapy of western medicine.Methods Two hundreds and thirty cases of amblyopia patients were randomly divided into two groups,namely the group of auricular point sticking therapy,which had 120 cases（212 eyes）,and the group of comprehensive therapy,which had 110 cases（194 eyes）.The seed of Semen Vaccariae was applied at the ear point such as the eye,ear Shenmen,the liver,the spleen and the kidney.Regular comprehensive therapy of western medicine included covering method,vision corrected with glasses and fine exercise.Vision improvements of the two groups were observed with a three-year follow up.Results The effective rates of the auricular point sticking therapy group and comprehensive therapy group of ametropic amblyopia were 81.0%（64/79） and 52.2%（36/69）,respectively.The effective rates of anisometropic amblyopia of the two groups were 73.1%（49/67） and 47.7%（31/65）,respectively.And the effective rates of the two groups of strabismic amblyopia were 71.2%（47/66） and 45.0%（27/60）,respectively.The therapeutic effects of auricular point sticking therapy on all kinds of amblyopia were better than those of the comprehensive therapy（all P0.05）.Conclusion The effect of auricular point sticking therapy on infantile amblyopia is better than that of regular comprehensive therapy of western medicine,which can obviously improve the vision of the patients with easy manipulations.

文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of pressing auricular points on myopia in children.METHODS:Myopic children aged 8-9 years were divided into two groups.The Chinese herb Semen Vaccariae was used to stimulate the auricular points of CO_(10),LO_5,TF_4,CO_(15),CO_(12),and CO_(13) for three treatment courses for the experimental group(n =39),while the same therapy was not given to the control group(n = 33).Binocular naked vision of the experimental group and the control group before and after the intervention was measured using a standard E visual acuity chart.RESULTS:There was no difference in the binocular naked vision between the experimental group and the control group before the intervention.In contrast,there was significant improvement in binocular naked vision in the experimental group after the intervention compared with the control group(P <0.05).CONCLUSION:When combined with external medical application,non-invasive auricular therapy could improve the function of myopia in children.Auricular pressing was well received by the children.

文摘A total of 30 students scoring between 12 and 20 on the Test Anxiety Scale who had been exhibiting an anxious state 〉 24 hours, and 30 normal control students were recruited. Indices of heart rate variability were recorded using an Actiheart electrocardiogram recorder at 10 minutes before auricular pressing, in the first half of stimulation and in the second half of stimulation. The results revealed that the standard deviation of all normal to normal intervals and the root mean square of standard deviation of normal to normal intervals were significantly increased after stimulation. The heart rate variability triangular index, very-low-frequency power, low-frequency power, and the ratio of low-frequency to high-frequency power were increased to different degrees after stimulation. Compared with normal controls, the root mean square of standard deviation of normal to normal intervals was significantly increased in anxious students following auricular pressing. These results indicated that auricular pressing can elevate heart rate variability, especially the root mean square of standard deviation of normal to normal intervals in students with pre-exam anxiety.
文摘Objective:To observe the effect of auricular point pressing combined with nursing based on syndrome differentiation in the treatment of insomnia patients.Methods:Totally 92 patients with insomnia were randomly divided into the observation groupgiven auricular point pressing combined with nursing care based on syndrome differentiation and the control group treated with auricular point pressing alone.The improvement of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),TCM Syndrome Score and nursing satisfaction were compared between the 2 groups.Results:The time effect of PSQI total score and 6 factors in both groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The time effect,interaction effect and inter-group effect of subjective sleep quality,PSQI total score were statistically significant(P<0.05);the 4 inter-group factors of sleep quality,sleep latency,sleep duration and daytime function were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total score of TCM syndromes in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the satisfaction rate in the observation group higher than that in the control group(80.43%vs.60.86%,P<0.05).Conclusion:Auricular point pressing combined withnursing based on syndrome differentiation can effectively improve the sleep quality of insomnia patients,and has significant advantages in improving TCM syndromes,as well as gained higher nursing satisfaction from patients.

文摘Vulvar leukoplakia refers to the chronic disease of degeneration and hypopigmentation of the skin and mucous membrane of the vulva with unbearable itching in women, seriously affecting the quality of life. The main treatment of western medicine for vulvar leukoplakia is the external use of glucocorticoids or estrogen, resulting to the high recurrence rate and side effects. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has the characteristics of the overall concept and dialectical treatment with a variety of ways. Literature review in recent years found that the treatment of TCM decoction combined with external therapies, such as external fumigation, acupuncture and other treatments, or the combination of TCM decoction and external western medicine hormone ointment, can obtain good effects in vulvar leukoplakia. During the clinical practice, we found that the use of TCM internally and externally combined with auricular acupuncture point bloodletting was highly effective with unique advantages in the treatment of vulvar leukoplakia, providing the ideas guidance for clinicians.
文摘Objective:To discuss and analyze the clinical effect of auricular point sticking in lung cancer chemotherapy.Methods:Sixty-two patients with lung cancer treated with chemotherapy in Suqian Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Jiangxi Province were selected for case evaluation and analysis.The time span of the research was from June 2020 to June 2021.The patients were divided into two groups:a study group(n=31)and a control group(n=31)based on their medical record numbers.All the patients were treated with conventional western medicine before and after chemotherapy to prevent adverse reactions;however,the patients in the study group were also treated with auricular point sticking in addition to the fonner.The relevant indexes of the two groups were compared.Results:The incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower in the study group compared to the control group(P<0.05);the rate of symptomatic relief of the patients in the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);the stress response indexes toward chemotherapy of the study group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05)・Conclusion:Auricular point sticking for patients with lung cancer who are receiving chemotherapy can reduce the incidence of adverse reactions,alleviate clinical symptoms,such as chest distress,asthma,and poor appetite,significantly alleviate stress response caused by chemotherapy,as well as promote the treatment effect;thus,it is worthy of promotion.
文摘Objective To compare therapeutic effect of auricular point sticking therapy and western medication on insomnia in the middle-aged patients. Methods Sixty-three middle-aged patients of insomnia were randomly divided into an auricular point sticking group（n=32） and a Diazepam group（n=31）. In the auricular point sticking group, auricular point sticking was given at auricular points Gan（liver）, Pi（spleen）, Shenmen on one side; and in the Diazepam group, 2.5 mg Diazepam was orally administrated, once each day. The clinical therapeutic effects, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index （PSQI） and the Athens Insomnia Scale （AIS） scores were compared before and after treatment in the two groups. Results After treatment for 4 weeks, the total effective rate of 90.6%（29/32） in the auricular point sticking group was better than 61.3%（19/31） in the Diazepam group （P0.01）; the scores of all items in PSQI in the auricular point sticking group, and the sleep quality, sleep time and the total score in the Diazepam group were significantly decreased （all P0.01）; the auricular point sticking group in improvement of sleep quality, falling asleep time, sleep efficacy, somnipathy, hypnotic use, daytime dysfunction and the total score in PSQI, and early awaking, total sleep time, daytime emotion, daytime state, daytime sleepy in AIS was superior to the Diazepam group （P0.05, P0.01）. Conclusion Auricular point sticking therapy has a good therapeutic effect on insomnia which is better than oral Diazepam.
文摘Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5),we explored the compatibility rules of moxibustion and auricular point prescriptions in the treatment of urinary retention after anorectal surgery,and further to obtain new prescriptions.Methods:We searched CNKI,Wanfang,VIP and CBM databases for the literature of moxibustion and auricular point therapy for urinary retention after anorectal surgery,collecting complete prescriptions and entering them into the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(V2.5).The acupoint frequency,association rules,and combination rules were analyzed by data mining method of software integration.Results:126 moxibustion prescriptions were selected,and the acupoints for urinary retention after anorectal surgery in the literature were analyzed,including 10 acupoints with frequency≥6,9 acupoint combinations with frequency≥26,5 acupoints with association rules,6 core acupoint combinations and 3 new prescription.124 auricular point prescriptions were selected,and the relevant acupoints in the literature were analyzed,including 10 acupoints with frequency of use≥18,15 acupoint combinations with frequency≥40,12 acupoint combinations with association rules,6 core acupoint combinations,and 3 new prescriptions.The core points include Qihai(RN6),Sanyinjiao(SP6),Zhongji(RN3),Guanyuan(RN4).The auricular point therapy is more to select the tenderness points and acupoints that have an impact on the urinary system,mainly including“Pangguang”(CO9),“Shenmen”(TF4),“Shen”(CO10),“Sanjiao”(CO17),“Pizhixia”(AT4),“Niaodao”(HX3),“Fei”(CO14),“Jiaogan”(AH6a).Conclusion:Moxibustion for the treatment of urinary retention is mainly based on invigorating“Primordial Qi”and regulating the functions of“Middle Jiao”(refers to the area of the body just below the diaphragm and above the navel that helps produce delicate nutrients).The entropic clustering of complex systems excavated new prescriptions for the treatment of urinary retention after anorectal surgery,providing new ideas for future research and treatment.
文摘Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of intervention with auricular point sticking at different time points in treating primary dysmenorrhea(PD)and to discover the optimal intervention timing in the treatment of PD with auricular point sticking.Methods:Sixty PD patients were divided into a trial group and a control group using a random drawing method,with 30 cases in each group.The intervention started 7 d before the menstrual cycle began among participants in the trial group,and began on the first day of menses in the control group.The same auricular points were chosen for the two groups to administer auricular point sticking with the single-use auricular plasters,including Shenmen(TF_(4)),Sympathetic(AH_(6a)),Internal Genitals(TF_(2)),Endocrine(CO_(18)),Pelvis(TF_(5)),Subcortex(AT_(4)),and Kidney(CO_(10)).The intervention was performed once every other day,3 times every menstrual cycle,3 menstrual cycles in a row.Before and after treatment,the visual analog scale(VAS)and COX menstrual symptom scale(CMSS)scores were recorded.The total effective rate was compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the VAS score and the CMSS scores of time(CMSS-T)and severity(CMSS-S)dropped significantly in both groups(P<0.05).The trial group showed a lower VAS score than the control group after receiving the treatment for 1,2,and 3 menstrual cycles,respectively(P<0.05).After 3 menstrual cycles of treatment,the CMSS-T and CMSS-S scores were lower in the trial group than in the control group(P<0.05).When the intervention finished,the total effective rate was 56.7%in the trial group,versus 20.0%in the control group;the between-group difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Regarding the relief of PD pain,auricular point sticking performs better when introduced before menses starts compared to during menses,without causing adverse reactions.
文摘Objective:To analyze the implementation status of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)nursing protocols for type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods:Totally 420 hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were given TCM nursing protocols by syndrome differentiation.A quantitative and qualitative investigation was conducted to patients who received TCM nursing and nurses who performed TCM nursing techniques.Results:According to the self-evaluation outcomes of patients,TCM nursing protocols were effective to relieve polydipsia,polyuria,fatigue and other symptoms.Patients exhibited a high level of compliance with nursing techniques such as auricular point pressing,acupoint massage,Chinese herbal foot-bath and moxibustion.The interview showed that patients could benefit from the TCM nursing protocols,and nurses considered that application of TCM nursing protocols could enhance their awareness of TCM knowledge and practice skills.Conclusion:The application of TCM nursing protocols is effective to relieve clinical symptoms of type 2 diabetes mellitus.It can also improve the knowledge level and practice skills of nurses in TCM hospitals.
文摘Objective To explore the effect of auricular point pressure on anesthetic recovery in the patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Methods One hundred and forty patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy were randomized into a trial group(52 cases,2 cases dropped out)and a control group(52 cases,2 cases were eliminated).In the control group,the conventional anesthesia program and recovery interventionwere adopted.In the trial group,on the basis of the regimen as the control group,the intervention of auricular point pressure was supplemented.The auricular points on the right side were selected,including sympathetic(AHea),brain(subcortex,AT4),thalamus,exciting point,heart and sore center.One day before operation,the auricular point pressure started;and the auricular points were stimulated specially before anesthesia(TO),at the moment of operation ending(T1),when entering the recovery room,at the moment of the tube removal(T2)and in 10 min of the tube removal(T3),respectively;each auricular point was pressed for 1 min a time.The recovery time of spontaneous breathing,the time of eye opening,the removal time of endotracheal tube,the recovery time of orientation,and the time of exiting recovery room were compared between the two groups.The score of pain visual analogue scale(VAS)and that of Richmond agitation-sedation scale(RASS)at T2,T3 and when exiting recovery room(T4),and the relevant circulatory indexes(heart rate[HR],systolic blood pressure[SBP],diastolic blood pressure[DBP]and mean arterial pressure[MAP])at TO,T1,T2 and T3 were observed in the two groups.Results In the trial group,the recovery time of spontaneous breathing,the time of eye opening,the removal time of endotracheal tube,the recovery time of orientation,the time of exiting recovery room were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.01,P<0.05).The pain VAS and RASS scores at T2,T3 and T4,as well as HR,SBP,DBP and MAP at TO,T1,T2 and T3 were not different statistically between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Auricular point pressure can shorten the recovery time from anesthesia in the patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
