Soil physiochemical properties were analyzed in laboratory through collection soil samples of study site. Ten treatments of application different fertilizers were designed such as CK, optimum treatment (N, P, K, Zn), N(P, K, Zn), P(N, K, Zn), K(N, P, Zn), +Mg(N, P, K, Zn, Mg), Zn (N,P,K), +2P(N, 2P, K, Zn), +2K(N, P, 2K, Zn), and 2N+2P+2K(2N, 2P, 2K, Zn) for field experiment to test the effect on tree height, diameter (DBH) growth, and dry weight of poplar. The results showed that there was no significant difference in tree heights between treatments with different fertilizers, diameter growth of poplar trees in treatments of lack of N and Zn was significantly slower than that of trees in optimum treatment, and dry weight of poplar dropped significantly for treatment of CK as well as treatments without application N and Zn. It is concluded that N and Zn were main limiting factor for poplar growth. Results from laboratory analysis and field experiment were uniform per-fectly, which proved that SNSA was reliable in evaluating soil nutrient status of poplar plantation.展开更多

So the fault diagnosis by outside fault phenomena is considered. Based on the theory of fuzzy recognition and fault diagnosis, this method only depends on experience and statistical data to set up fuzzy query relationship between the outside phenomena (fault characters) and the fault sources (fault patterns). From this relationship the most probable fault sources can be obtained, to attain the goal of quick diagnosis. Based on the above approach, the standard fuzzy relationship matrix is stored in the computer as a system database. And experiment data are given to show the fault diagnosis results. The important parameters can be on line sampled and analyzed, and when faults occur, faults can be found, the alarm is given and the controller output is regulated.展开更多

文摘Decision support systems(DSS)based on physically based numerical models are standard tools used by water services and utilities. However, few DSS based on holistic approaches combining distributed hydrological, hydraulic, and hydrogeological models are operationally exploited. This holistic approach was adopted for the development of the AquaVar DSS,used for water resource management in the French Mediterranean Var watershed. The year 2019 marked the initial use of the DSS in its operational environment.Over the next 5 years, multiple hydrological events allowed to test the performance of the DSS.The results show that the tool is capable of simulating peak flows associated with two extreme rainfall events(storms Alex and Aline). For a moderate flood, the real-time functionality was able to simulate forecast discharges 26 h before the flood peak, with a maximum local error of 30%.Finally,simulations for the drought period 2022-2023 highlighted the essential need for DSS to evolve in line with changing climatic conditions, which give rise to unprecedented hydrological processes. The lessons learned from these first 5 years of AquaVar use under operational conditions are synthesized, addressing various topics such as DSS modularity, evolution, data positioning, technology, and governance.
文摘Feature selection(FS)plays a crucial role in medical imaging by reducing dimensionality, improving computational efficiency, and enhancing diagnostic accuracy.Traditional FS techniques, including filter, wrapper, and embedded methods, have been widely used but often struggle with high-dimensional and heterogeneous medical imaging data.Deep learning-based FS methods, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs)and autoencoders, have demonstrated superior performance but lack interpretability.Hybrid approaches that combine classical and deep learning techniques have emerged as a promising solution, offering improved accuracy and explainability.Furthermore,integratingmulti-modal imaging data(e.g.,MagneticResonance Imaging(MRI),ComputedTomography(CT),Positron Emission Tomography(PET),and Ultrasound(US))poses additional challenges in FS,necessitating advanced feature fusion strategies.Multi-modal feature fusion combines information fromdifferent imagingmodalities to improve diagnostic accuracy.Recently, quantum computing has gained attention as a revolutionary approach for FS,providing the potential to handle high-dimensional medical data more efficiently. This systematic literature review comprehensively examines classical,Deep Learning(DL),hybrid, and quantum-based FS techniques inmedical imaging.Key outcomes include a structured taxonomy of FS methods,a critical evaluation of their performance across modalities, and identification of core challenges such as computational burden, interpretability, and ethical considerations.Future research directions—such as explainable AI(XAI),federated learning, and quantum-enhanced FS—are also emphasized to bridge the current gaps. This review provides actionable insights for developing scalable, interpretable, and clinically applicable FS methods in the evolving landscape of medical imaging.

文摘Renewable energy sources(RES)have strong uncertainties, which significantly increase the risks of power imbalance and load shedding in composite power systems. It is thus necessary to evaluate the operational reliability for guiding economic dispatch and reducing the risks.Current methods cannot meet the requirement for the operational timeliness of reliability evaluations due to the high computa-tional complexity of the optimal power flow(OPF)calculations of massive contingencies. This paper pro-poses a fully analytical approach to construct fast-to-run analytical functions of reliability indices and avoid reassessments when the load and RES change. The approach consists of uniform design(UD)-based contingency screening and a modified stochastic response surface method(mSRSM).The contin-gency screening method is used to select critical contingencies while considering the uncertainties. The mSRSM is used to construct the analytical functions of the load shedding to the load and RES gener-ation for the selected contingencies. An analytical function of a smooth virtual variable that maps to the load shedding is established in such a way that, when the load and RES vary, the reliability can be assessed within a very short time rather than using laborious OPF calculations.Case studies illustrate the excellent performance of the proposed method for real-time reliability evaluation.

文摘This paper studies the problem of designing a modelbased decentralized dynamic periodic event-triggering mechanism(DDPETM)for networked control systems(NCSs)subject to packet losses and external disturbances.Firstly, the entire NCSs,comprising the triggering mechanism, packet losses and output-based controller, are unified into a hybrid dynamical framework.Secondly,by introducing dynamic triggering variables, the DDPETM is designed to conserve network resources while guaranteeing desired performance properties and tolerating the maximum allowable number of successive packet losses.Thirdly, some stability conditions are derived using the Lyapunov approach.Differing from the zero-order-hold(ZOH)case,the model-based control sufficiently exploits the model information at the controller side.Between two updates, the controller predicts the plant state based on the models and received feedback information. With the model-based control, less transmission may be expected than with ZOH.Finally, numerical examples and comparative experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

文摘A high-order fully actuated(HOFA)control method is developed for underactuated mechanical systems(UMSs)with model uncertainties and external disturbances.First,a model transformation is made from the original to a pseudo strict-feedback form, and an HOFA model is established by using the method of variable elimination. Then,a group of high-order extended state observers(ESOs)are designed to deal with model uncertainties and external disturbances. The HOFA model is further classified and decomposed to achieve output constraints within a finite time range, and a barrier function is designed by combining with a shift function.Additionally,an ESO-based HOFA tracking control strategy for UMS is proposed. Finally,a manipulator model is used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

文摘A study was conducted to evaluate the soil nutrient status of poplar plantation by Soil Nutrient Systematic Approach (SNSA) in Jianghan Plain, Hubei Province, China. Results from laboratory analysis and field experiment were uniform per-fectly, which proved that SNSA was reliable in evaluating soil nutrient status of poplar plantation.
文摘In an actual control system, it is often difficult to find out where the faults are if only based on the outside fault phenomena, acquired frequently from a fault system. The important parameters can be on line sampled and analyzed, and when faults occur, faults can be found, the alarm is given and the controller output is regulated.

文摘Stroke is a major cause of death and disability worldwide. It is characterized by a highly interconnected and multiphasic neuropathological cascade of events,in which an intense and protracted inflammatory response plays a crucial role in worsening brain injury.Neuroinflammation,a key player in the pathophysiology of stroke, has a dual role.In the acute phase of stroke, neuroinflammation exacerbates brain injury, contributing to neuronal damage and blood–brain barrier disruption. This aspect of neuroinflammation is associated with poor neurological outcomes.Conversely,in the recovery phase following stroke, neuroinflammation facilitates brain repair processes, including neurogenesis, angiogenesis, and synaptic plasticity. The transition of neuroinflammation from a harmful to a reparative role is not well understood. Therefore, this review seeks to explore the mechanisms underlying this transition, with the goal of informing the development of therapeutic interventions that are both time-and context-specific.This review aims to elucidate the complex and dual role of neuroinflammation in stroke, highlighting the main actors, biomarkers of the disease, and potential therapeutic approaches.

文摘The capacity of the central nervous system for structural plasticity and regeneration is commonly believed to show a decreasing progression from“small and simple”brains to the larger, more complex brains of mammals. However, recent findings revealed that some forms of neural plasticity can show a reverse trend.Although plasticity is a well-preserved,transversal feature across the animal world,a variety of cell populations and mechanisms seem to have evolved to enable structural modifications to take place in widely different brains, likely as adaptations to selective pressures.Increasing evidence now indicates that a trade-off has occurred between regenerative(mostly stem cell–driven)plasticity and developmental(mostly juvenile)remodeling, with the latter primarily aimed not at brain repair but rather at“sculpting”the neural circuits based on experience. In particular,an evolutionary trade-off has occurred between neurogenic processes intended to support the possibility of recruiting new neurons throughout life and the different ways of obtaining new neurons, and between the different brain locations in which plasticity occurs. This review first briefly surveys the different types of plasticity and the complexity of their possible outcomes and then focuses on recent findings showing that the mammalian brain has a stem cell–independent integration of new neurons into pre-existing(mature)neural circuits. This process is still largely unknown but involves neuronal cells that have been blocked in arrested maturation since their embryonic origin(also termed“immature”or“dormant”neurons). These cells can then restart maturation throughout the animal's lifespan to become functional neurons in brain regions, such as the cerebral cortex and amygdala, that are relevant to high-order cognition and emotions.Unlike stem cell–driven postnatal/adult neurogenesis, which significantly decreases from small-brained,short-living species to large-brained ones, immature neurons are particularly abundant in large-brained,long-living mammals, including humans. The immature neural cell populations hosted in these complex brains are an interesting example of an“enlarged road”in the phylogenetic trend of plastic potential decreases commonly observed in the animal world. The topic of dormant neurons that covary with brain size and gyrencephaly represents a prospective turning point in the field of neuroplasticity, with important translational outcomes. These cells can represent a reservoir of undifferentiated neurons, potentially granting plasticity within the high-order circuits subserving the most sophisticated cognitive skills that are important in the growing brains of young, healthy individuals and are frequently affected by debilitating neurodevelopmental and degenerative disorders.
