文摘Gene Engineering Principles is a fundamental professional course for majors such as bioengineering and biotechnology.It integrates theoretical knowledge with experimental practice and engineering applications.It is characterized by its comprehensive and highly practical nature.Aligning with the new-era higher education philosophy of‘competency-oriented,value-driven’teaching,this study presented a systematic exploration and practice based on undergraduate cohorts from 2018 to 2020 in Chengdu University.The reform focused on teaching methodology,formative assessment,and the integration of ideological and political education.Key strategies included the introduction of classical experimental cases,emphasis on pre-class preparation,enhancement of classroom interaction,focus on engineering-oriented applications,optimization of assessment mechanisms,and the incorporation of national strategic needs into the curriculum.These measures effectively stimulated students’learning motivation and research potential,thereby improving the overall teaching quality and educational effectiveness of the course.The results of the teaching reform demonstrate significant improvements in students’ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical engineering problems,scientific thinking,experimental research skills,scientific reasoning,and professional identity.Reformed classes outperformed control groups across various instructional metrics,achieving notable educational outcomes.

文摘Crop Breeding is a compulsory course for agriculture-related majors and serves as an important platform for cultivating talents in agriculture,rural areas and farmers.Curriculum ideological and political education in the course of Crop Breeding can not only impart professional knowledge to students,but also shape their correct outlook on life,world and values.Based on elaborating the necessity of integrating curriculum ideological and political education into the Crop Breeding course,this paper deeply explored ideological and political elements and achieved their organic integration with professional knowledge.Throughout the teaching process,the educational effect of combining professional knowledge instruction with ideological and political education has been achieved,thereby creating new pathways for ideological and political development in the Crop Breeding course.While enabling students to learn and master basic theories,developmental trends,and cutting-edge knowledge of the discipline,this approach enhances students sense of identity and belonging to the profession,cultivates their dedication to agriculture,rural areas,and farmers,and strengthens their sense of responsibility and historical mission in revitalizing agriculture.Therefore,it can foster high-quality agricultural talents for China s rural revitalization strategy.

文摘As China’s higher education transitions from extensive expansion to intensive development,the‘New Liberal Arts’concept has emerged as a pivotal strategic direction for transforming humanities disciplines.This approach emphasizes interdisciplinary integration,parallel development of theory and practice,and optimizing talent cultivation models guided by societal demands.The diversified economic structure and high-quality development trajectory of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area present new demands for talent cultivation,curriculum design,and pedagogical reform within university Human Resource Management(HRM)programs.Taking Guangzhou Huashang College as the research subject,this paper analyses the core competencies required for HRM programs under the New Liberal Arts framework through policy document analysis,literature review,and field research.It identifies shortcomings in the current curriculum system regarding knowledge structure,practical pathways,and cross-disciplinary integration.Guided by Outcome-Based Education(OBE)and Competency-Based Education(CBE)frameworks,a new curriculum architecture was designed comprising four pillars:general education and humanities literacy,professional core competencies,cross-disciplinary integration,and practical innovation.Practical explorations were undertaken in areas such as university-enterprise collaboration and industry-education integration.Preliminary outcomes demonstrate that the new scheme comprehensively enhances students’data comprehension,strategic awareness,and humanistic sensitivity,providing a reference paradigm for the high-quality development of HRM programs within the new liberal arts context.

文摘Curriculum ideological and political education is an important direction of higher education reform in the new era,aiming to realize the organic integration of professional knowledge imparting and ideological and political education.Taking preliminary landscape design course as an example,this paper expounded in detail the implementation of teaching reform from three aspects:the formulation of teaching objectives,the integration of teaching contents and the innovation of teaching methods.This paper systematically summarized the implementation effect of ideological and political education reform,and reflected on the excavation of ideological and political elements,integration degree,innovation of teaching methods,teachers’ideological and political ability and practical teaching.The exploration on curriculum ideological and political teaching provides useful reference and thinking for similar courses,and promotes the sustainable development of curriculum ideological and political education.

文摘The rapid development of economy and tourism industry in Liaoning Province calls for more interpreting talents at primary and intermediate level for foreign exchange activities, escort tourism and business negotiation. Due to the different demand from interpreting market, the cultivation of interpreters also need to be diversified. As a new emerging force, private application-oriented universities have set the goal as "To foster pragmatic and practical talents". But the available teaching materials and textbook can't satisfy the need for private application-oriented universities. Therefore, it is imperative to explore suitable teaching material based on the features and cultivation goals of private application-oriented universities, so that to better accomplish the teaching objective.

In the light of our socialist market-oriented economy characteristics, the discussion proceeds, in theory and practice, by putting forward a relatively profound approach according to the trend in the demands for business English talents and to the operational patterns of business English discipline, with some suggestions about the training modes of interdisciplinary and application-oriented talents and the construction of curriculum.
文摘The constructivism in the field of education exerts the main effects : to put forward a new concept of knowledge and learning theory, to explain the nature and occurring mechanism of learning again, and to advocate new course construction. In the process of the new curriculum reform in China, constructivism has become one of the main theories of guiding education and teaching reform, and has played a good role in promoting the reform of traditional education and teaching. As for secondary vocational education which is confused in curriculum development, constructivism can also provide new ideas for it. How to combine constructivism with secondary vocational curriculum development, and how to apply the constructivist curriculum concept to the development of secondary vocational curriculum is the core of this research.
