In the context of the rapid iteration of information technology,the Internet of Things(IoT)has established itself as a pivotal hub connecting the digital world and the physical world.Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs),deeply embedded in the perception layer architecture of the IoT,play a crucial role as“tactile nerve endings.”A vast number of micro sensor nodes are widely distributed in monitoring areas according to preset deployment strategies,continuously and accurately perceiving and collecting real-time data on environmental parameters such as temperature,humidity,light intensity,air pressure,and pollutant concentration.These data are transmitted to the IoT cloud platform through stable and reliable communication links,forming a massive and detailed basic data resource pool.By using cutting-edge big data processing algorithms,machine learning models,and artificial intelligence analysis tools,in-depth mining and intelligent analysis of these multi-source heterogeneous data are conducted to generate high-value-added decision-making bases.This precisely empowers multiple fields,including agriculture,medical and health care,smart home,environmental science,and industrial manufacturing,driving intelligent transformation and catalyzing society to move towards a new stage of high-quality development.This paper comprehensively analyzes the technical cores of the IoT and WSNs,systematically sorts out the advanced key technologies of WSNs and the evolution of their strategic significance in the IoT system,deeply explores the innovative application scenarios and practical effects of the two in specific vertical fields,and looks forward to the technological evolution trends.It provides a detailed and highly practical guiding reference for researchers,technical engineers,and industrial decision-makers. 展开更多

Soil improvement is one of the most important issues in geotechnical engineering practice.The wide application of traditional improvement techniques(cement/chemical materials)are limited due to damage ecological en-vironment and intensify carbon emissions.However,the use of microbially induced calcium carbonate pre-cipitation(MICP)to obtain bio-cement is a novel technique with the potential to induce soil stability,providing a low-carbon,environment-friendly,and sustainable integrated solution for some geotechnical engineering pro-blems in the environment.This paper presents a comprehensive review of the latest progress in soil improvement based on the MICP strategy.It systematically summarizes and overviews the mineralization mechanism,influ-encing factors,improved methods,engineering characteristics,and current field application status of the MICP.Additionally,it also explores the limitations and correspondingly proposes prospective applications via the MICP approach for soil improvement.This review indicates that the utilization of different environmental calcium-based wastes in MICP and combination of materials and MICP are conducive to meeting engineering and market demand.Furthermore,we recommend and encourage global collaborative study and practice with a view to commercializing MICP technique in the future.The current review purports to provide insights for engineers and interdisciplinary researchers,and guidance for future engineering applications. 展开更多

Fracability evaluation is critical for efficiently extracting deep shale gas using hydraulic fracturing to avoid blind drilling and fracking.However,existing fracability indices often fail to systematically consider the mechanical behavior of rocks at high temperatures and high pressures(HTHP),coupled with geostress distributions and heterogeneous reservoir characteristics.This critical omission limits their effectiveness in accurately identifying the optimal fracability sweet spots within deep reservoirs.In this work,a fracability evaluation model was proposed based on the combined weighting method,integrating the improved brittleness index,rock strength,geostresses and natural weakness characteristics.A fracability grading evaluation was carried out to determine the potential fracture characteristics corresponding to shales with different fracability levels.Additionally,the fracability index was used for field validation and applications.Results show that rock brittleness and fracability are not equivalent for deep reservoirs.The fracability index is closely related to the pay zones and actual gas production,with a correlation as high as 84%,implying that the proposed method has practical significance in both experimental and field applications.The above findings can provide theoretical guidance for the selection of fracturing candidates and the optimal design of fracturing in deep resource development. 展开更多

Bearing characteristics of anchor box beam support system in deep thick roof coal roadway and its application

Considering the characteristics of deep thick top coal roadway,in which the high ground stress,coal seam with low strength,and a large range of surrounding rock fragmentation,the pressure relief anchor box beam support system with high strength is developed.The high-strength bearing characteristics and coupling yielding support mechanism of this support system are studied by the mechanical tests of composite members and the combined support system.The test results show that under the coupling effect of support members,the peak stress of the box-shaped support beam in the anchor box beam is reduced by 21.9%,and the average deformation is increased by 135.0%.The ultimate bending bearing capacity of the box-shaped support beam is 3.5 times that of traditional channel beam.The effective compressive stress zone applied by the high prestressed cable is expanded by 26.4%.On this basis,the field support comparison test by the anchor channel beam,the anchor I-shaped beam and the anchor box beam are carried out.Compared with those of the previous two,the surrounding rock convergence of the latter is decreased by 41.2%and 22.2%,respectively.The field test verifies the effectiveness of the anchor box beam support system. 展开更多

In deep underground engineering,rock burst and other dynamic disasters are prone to occur due to stress concentration and energy accumulation in surrounding rock.The control of dynamic disasters requires bolts and cables with high strength,high elongation,and high energy-absorbing capacity.Therefore,a constant resistance energy-absorbing(CREA)material is developed.In this study,the dynamic characteristics of the new material are obtained via the drop hammer tests and the Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar(SHPB)tests of the new material and two common bolt(CB)materials widely used in the field.The test results of drop hammer test and SHPB test show that the percentage elongation of CREA material is more than 2.64 and 3.22 times those of the CB material,and the total impact energy acting on CREA material is more than 18.50 and 21.84 times,respectively,indicating that the new material has high elongation and high energy-absorbing capacity.Subsequently,the CREA bolts and cables using the new material are developed,which are applied in roadways with high stress and strong dynamic disturbance.The field monitoring results show that CREA bolts and cables can effectively control the surrounding rock deformation and ensure engineering safety. 展开更多

The technology of drilling tests makes it possible to obtain the strength parameter of rock accurately in situ. In this paper, a new rock cutting analysis model that considers the influence of the rock crushing zone(RCZ) is built. The formula for an ultimate cutting force is established based on the limit equilibrium principle. The relationship between digital drilling parameters(DDP) and the c-φ parameter(DDP-cφ formula, where c refers to the cohesion and φ refers to the internal friction angle) is derived, and the response of drilling parameters and cutting ratio to the strength parameters is analyzed. The drillingbased measuring method for the c-φ parameter of rock is constructed. The laboratory verification test is then completed, and the difference in results between the drilling test and the compression test is less than 6%. On this basis, in-situ rock drilling tests in a traffic tunnel and a coal mine roadway are carried out, and the strength parameters of the surrounding rock are effectively tested. The average difference ratio of the results is less than 11%, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method for obtaining the strength parameters based on digital drilling. This study provides methodological support for field testing of rock strength parameters. 展开更多

Computed M2 current is compared with observations available and found to be in good agreement.Main features of the calculating method in this study are: (1) Vertical variation of the tidal current is taken as a funetion of the depth-mean velocity: (2) the method is applicable to a variety of the vertical eddy viscosities; (3) it has a fine vertical resolution, especially near the sea bootom. The Lower Cambrian Longwangmiao dolomite gas reservoirs in the Sichuan Basin are characterized by well-developed natural micro-fractures and dissolved pores and cavities.Due to the strong heterogeneity of reservoirs and the serious damage of drilling and completion fluids,acid placement is difficult,and especially the acidizing stimulation of long-interval highly deviated wells or horizontal wells is more difficult.In this paper,the diverting mechanism and rheological behavior of viscoelastic surfactant(VES)based diverting acid was firstly investigated,and the diverting acid with good diversion performance and low secondary damage was selected as the main acid.Then,based on the experimental results of its rheological behaviors,an empirical model of effective viscosity was fitted and a two-scale wormhole propagation model was coupled.And accordingly,a mathematical model for the acidizing of self-diverting acid was established to simulate the pH value,Ca^(2+)concentration,effective viscosity and wormhole shape under the effect of diverting acid in long-interval highly deviated wells that are non-uniformly damaged.Finally,gelled acid and 5%VES diverting acid were compared in terms of their etched wormhole shapes,flow rate dis-tribution and acid imbibition profiles.It is shown that the diverting acid can obviously improve the acid imbibition profile of strong-heterogeneity reservoirs to intensify low-permeability reservoir stimulation.In view of the strong heterogeneity of Longwangmiao dolomite reservoirs and the complexities of drilling and completion fluid damage in the Sichuan Basin,a placement technology was developed for variable VES concentration diverting acid in horizontal wells and long-interval highly deviated wells completed with slotted liners.This acid placement technology has been practically applied in 8 wells and their cumulative gas production rate tested at the wellhead is 1233.46×10^(4)m^(3)/d.The average production stimulation ratio per well is up to 1.95.It provides a support for the efficient development of the Longwangmiao giant gas reservoir. 展开更多

A novel micro-emulsion was prepared by mixing an oil-soluble viscosity reducer,which was screened to aim at improving the heavy oil properties of Shengli oilfield with water-soluble surfactant and co-surfactant.The static viscosity reduction and oil washing performance of the micro-emulsion were investigated,and the field application of the microemulsion used as heavy oil displacement agent was also reported.Results showed that the micro-emulsion exhibited excellent viscosity reduction performance for the studied heavy oil samples.When heavy oil was mixed with 0.5%of the micro-emulsion,a stable oil-in-water heavy oil emulsion could be formed.After the content of the micro-emulsion was increased to 3.0%,the oil removing rate reached up to 80%.Field application of the micro-emulsion to the Pai-601-Ping-115 well and the Pai-601-Ping-123 well was shown to be effective by increasing the periodic oil production up to 203 tons. 展开更多

The permeability is a key factor to determine the efficiency of coalbed methane(CBM)production.The borehole enlargement technology using hydraulic and mechanical measures to cut coal is an effective method to increase the coal seam permeability and improve the efficiency of gas drainage.Reasonable design of the layout of boreholes is the prerequisite for efficient and economical gas drainage.In this paper,based on the strain-softening model,the stress and permeability model of the coal seam around the enlarged borehole was built,and based on the dual-medium model,the gas migration model in the coal seam was established.Then the borehole enlargement gas drainage engineering of E9/10 coal seam in Pingdingshan No.8 coal mine was simulated by using COMSOL Multiphysics software.The distribution of stress and permeability in the coal seam around a borehole was analyzed,and the reasonable borehole radius of 0.25 m and reasonable borehole spacing of 6 m were determined.Finally,in Pingdingshan No.8 coal mine,field application was carried out in E9/10 coal seam-21070 working face from the high-level gas drainage roadway.The results show that the actual average coal slag discharge rate is 77.82%,which achieved borehole enlargement.The natural gas flow rate from an enlarged borehole is 2.3–7.3 times that of a normal borehole,and the influence range of enlarged boreholes is more than 6 m.The average gas drainage concentration of a group of enlarged boreholes is about 42%,and the average gas drainage amount is about 0.53 m3/min.After two months of gas extraction,the outburst risk in this area was eliminated,which provides a guarantee for safe coal mining. 展开更多

This study aims to further enhance the oil recovery of reservoirs in the Zhong-2 Block of the Gudao Oilfield by identifying the most effective microbial-flooding activator systems and applying them in the field.We began by analyzing the structure of the reservoirs'endogenous microbial communities to understand the potential impact of microbial flooding.This was followed by determining commonly used activator systems based on their abilities to stimulate oil-displacement functional bacteria.Through laboratory experiments on oil displacement efficiency and sweep characteristics,we determined the optimal activator injection method(injection ratio)and the requisite bacterial concentration for maximal microbial-flooding efficacy.Finally,we selected the optimal activator systems and applied them to field tests.Our findings suggest the target block is highly receptive to microbial-flooding.In terms of performance,the activator systems ranked as No.3>No.4>No.1>No.2.Interestingly,a deep activator system,when compared to the top-performing No.3 system,exhibited a higher bacterial concentration peak and longer peaking duration.Optimal oil displacement effects were observed at a 1:4 vol ratio between the No.3 activator and deep activator systems,with bacterial concentrations of up to 106 cells/mL or above.Field tests with the selected activator systems,following a specific injection protocol,demonstrated a notable increase in oil production and a reduction in water cut. 展开更多

On the basis of profoundly understanding of the reservoir's physical properties and sensitivity, along with comprehensive analysis of the cause for jams in oil wells, a series of experiments are carried out in order to in- vestigate the dissolution reaction among samples and deplugging inhibitor, sample dissolving speed, formation fluid compatibility, reduction of secondary pollution, etc. Considered reservoir condition in nearby wells the op- timized compositional deplugging liquid formula is selected for this reservoir. It is featured by reducing the de- plugging reaction speed, extending solution for processing radius, preventing secondary damage in dissolution processing, and removing plug pollution effectively. To implement this high efficiency low corrosion deplugging measure based on reservoir condition in the borehole and nearby wells, a relatively better result of deplugging and production increasing is achieved, which enriches the measures to increase production in Xinmu oilfield, and this method can be applied to other similar oiffields for the purpose of maintaining the crude oil production and providing assistant for increasing the production significantly. 展开更多

Stimulation technologies for Longwangmiao Fm gas reservoirs in the Sichuan Basin and their application results

The Longwangmiao Fm group gas reservoirs in the Moxi structure in central Sichuan Basin feature high temperature,high pressure and high H2S content.The thickness of such high permeable reservoirs with great homogeneity is a geologic basis for a high-productivity gas well,and good match of natural fractures and vugs is the key factor to high well productivity.Overbalance drilling is likely to cause the opening-up of natural fractures,which will lead to the leakage of drilling fluid and severe damage to the reservoir.Experimental evaluation results show that the damage rate of the drilling fluid to the rock sample is between 82.2%and 89.2%,which severely restricts the productivity of gas wells.Therefore,it is necessary to deepen the experimental evaluation technologies and methods to promote the design pertinence of technical parameters.The study shows:first,the optimized gelling acid and steering acid are effective in slowing down speed and removing blockage,forming acidizing wormholes and effectively eliminating the blockage effect caused by drilling liquid pollution;second,the self-developed fiber steering agent and soluble temporary blocking ball can divert the acid,increasing the processing pressure at the well bottom by 5-15 MPa,realizing the even stimulation of heterogeneous reservoirs;third,based on experimental evaluation such as the acid penetration and acid rock reaction,it is recommended that the pumping rate be 3.0-3.5 m^(3)/min in acidizing treatment and the acid intensity for blockage removal be 3.0-5.0 m^(3)/m;fourth,the established blockage removal and steering acidizing technology have been applied in more than 20 wells with a remarkable productivity-increase effect,which gives full play to the natural productivity of gas wells and decreases the acid application scale.All these technologies and measures effectively enhance the development quality and profit of the gas reservoir. 展开更多
