CGAN based anti-interference recognition method for weld seam images

Common strong noise interferences like metal splashes,smoke,and arc light during welding can seriously pollute the laser stripe images,causing the tracking model to drift and leading to tracking failure.At present,there are already many mature methods for identifying and extracting feature points of linear laser stripes.When the laser stripe forms a curved shape on the surface of the workpiece,these linear methods will no longer be applicable.To eliminate interference sources,enhance the robustness of the weld tracking model,and effectively extract the feature points of curved laser stripes under strong noise conditions.This paper proposes a Conditional Generative Adversarial Network(CGAN)based anti-interference recognition method for welding images.The generator adopts an improved U-Net++structure,adds a Multi-scale Channel Attention module(MS-CAM),introduces Deep Supervision,and proposes a Multi-output Fusion strategy(MOFS)in the output result to en-hance the image inpainting effect;the discriminator uses PatchGAN.The center of the laser stripe is obtained using the grayscale center of mass method and then combined with polynomial fitting to extract the feature points of the weld seam.The experimental results show that the PSNR of the inpainting image is 26.24 dB,the SSIM is 0.98,and the LPIPS is 0.032.The centerline of the inpainting image and the centerline of the noise-free image laser stripe are fitted with a curve.The error of centerline feature points is no more than 5%,confirming the superiority and feasibility of the method. 展开更多

High-speed,precise 3D sensing is essential for autonomous driving,robotics,and remote sensing,with light detection and ranging(LiDAR)as the leading technology.Nevertheless,single-channel LiDAR is bottlenecked by the light’s round-trip delay,limiting its point acquisition rate(PAR).While parallel detection can overcome this,current solutions either require multiple detectors—adding complexity—or are hampered by electronic encoder speeds,restricting scalability and resolution.Here,we propose a parallel anti-interference LiDAR architecture based on code-division multiple access(CDMA)with all-optical encoding.A broadband source is split by wavelength-division multiplexing(WDM)into two spectral channels,each encoded with an orthogonal sequence via fiber splitters.A single-pixel photodetector captures mixed echoes,and matched filtering separates the channels for precise time-offlight(TOF)extraction—achieving parallel detection with minimal hardware.Experimentally,operating at a 25.6 ns emission period,the system attains a dual-channel PAR of 78 MHz(ambiguity distance of 3.84 m)with~2 mm ranging precision(standard deviation)under motion.Furthermore,even at an extremely low signal-to-interference ratio(SIR)of−13 dB,the scheme retains over 50%valid demodulated points,validating its superior interference resilience.This low-complexity,highly integrable architecture establishes a critical foundation for ultrafast,highprecision,anti-interference 3D imaging in autonomous vehicles,drones,and robotics. 展开更多

With the advancement of electronic countermeasures,airborne synthetic aperture radar(SAR)systems are facing increasing challenges in maintaining effective performance in hostile environments.In particular,high-power interference can severely degrade SAR imaging and signal processing,often rendering target detection impossible.This highlights the urgent need for robust anti-interference solutions in both the signal processing and image processing domains.While current methods address interference across various domains,techniques such as waveform modification and spatial filtering typically increase the system costs and complexity.To overcome these limitations,we propose a novel approach that leverages the multi-domain characteristics of interference to efficiently suppress narrowband interference and repeater modulation interference.Specifically,narrowband interference is mitigated using notch filtering,a signal processing technique that effectively filters out unwanted frequencies,while repeater modulation interference is addressed through strong signal amplitude normalization,which enhances both the signal and image processing quality.These methods were validated through tests on real SAR data,demonstrating significant improvements in the imaging performance and system robustness.Our approach offers valuable insights for advancing anti-interference technologies in SAR systems and provides a cost-effective solution to enhance their resilience in complex electronic warfare environments. 展开更多

Amid accelerating global land degradation,establishing high-efficiency ecological restoration principles and frameworks is crucial.Here,we explore the application of threshold effects in the ecological restoration process based on field experiments and globally available experimental data from 173 sites.Combining data integration analysis and meta-analysis,we collectively verified the universality of threshold effects in grasslands.The global grasslands’average nitrogen application threshold is 3.78 g·m^(-2)·yr^(−1),while the threshold value of degraded grassland(3.65 g·m^(-2)·yr^(−1))is lower than that of nondegraded grassland(5.90 g·m^(-2)·yr^(−1)).The low nitrogen-driven thresholds are affected by degradation status,climate(precipitation and temperature),and other site conditions,but not fertilization forms.Independent experiments further demonstrated that an increase in soil moisture content can lead to the disappearance of nitrogen threshold effects,revealing that ecological threshold effects are influenced by ecosystem stress factors.Following the significant increase in plant biomass triggered by the nitrogen threshold,the ecosystem undergoes systemic improvement.Soil organic carbon,urease activity,soil microbial diversity,and other soil properties are significantly enhanced.Soil nitrogen cycle-related microbial communities and soil physicochemical attributes are significantly activated.The results indicate that a threshold response pattern may develop before nitrogen saturation is reached,and low nitrogen input can boost productivity and improve the plant-soil-microbe system.Our findings reveal a nonprogressive path of restoration in degraded ecosystems,and thus,restoration based on threshold effects can offer an efficient and safe solution to combat ecological degradation. 展开更多

When signal-to-interference ratio is low, the energy of strong interference leaked from the side lobe of beam pattern will infect the detection of weak target. Therefore, the beam pattern needs to be optimized. The existing Dolph-Chebyshev weighting method can get the lowest side lobe level under given main lobe width, but for the other non-uniform circular array and nonlinear array, the low side lobe pattern needs to be designed specially. The second order cone programming optimization (SOCP) algorithm proposed in the paper transforms the optimization of the beam pattern into a standard convex optimization problem. Thus there is a paradigm to follow for any array formation, which not only achieves the purpose of Dolph-Chebyshev weighting, but also solves the problem of the increased side lobe when the signal is at end fire direction The simulation proves that the SOCP algorithm can detect the weak target better than the conventional beam forming. 展开更多

An RF transceiver composed of a zero-IF receiver and a direct up-conversion transmitter for cognitive radio applications is presented. The adjustable channel filter array in the receiver is used to suppress adjacent channel interference in televisions signal coexistence environments. The low noise amplifier (LNA) with wide dynamic range and high linearity is employed to enhance the anti-interference competence of the zero-IF receiver. Meanwhile, the high linearity power amplifier (PA) .is used to promote the adjacent channel power ratio (ACPR) characteristic of the direct up-conversion transmitter. The measured error vector magnitude (EVM) results show that the anti-interference competence of the zero-IF receiver is dramatically enhanced by employing a channel filter array. The measured ACPR of the direct up-conversion transmitter is -47. 98 dBc on the channel centered at 714 MHz when the output power is 27 dBm. 展开更多

Shallow conductive heterogeneity can lead to static shifts ain the apparent resistivity sounding curve of controlled-source audio-frequency magnetotellurics(CSAMT).The static effect will shift the apparent resistivity curves along with axial log-log coordinates.Such an effect,if not properly processed,can distort the resistivity of rock formation and the depth of interfaces,and even make the geological structures unrecognizable.In this paper,we discuss the reasons and characteristics of the static shift and summarize the previous studies regarding static shift correction.Then,we propose the Guided Image Filtering algorithm to suppress static shifts in CSAMT.In detail,we use the multi-window superposition method to superimpose 1D signals into a 2D matrix image,which is subsequently processed with Guided Image Filtering.In the synthetic model study and field examples,the Guided Image Filtering algorithm has effectively corrected and suppressed static shifts,and finally improved the precision of data interpretation. 展开更多

To suppress the interference in the ultra-wideband (AI-UWB) system is a challenging problem. An anti-interference multiband orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing ultra-wideband (AI-UWB) system, based on spreading and interleaving is addressed. It will exploit the frequency diversity across the subcarriers and provide the robustness to narrow-band interference, by spreading the coded bit streams within each sub-band and interleaving across all sub-bands. Simulating results show that the spreading and interleaving provide about 5 dB to 10 dB advantages over the conventional multiband orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing ultra-wideband system in signal-to-interference ratio. Spreading and interleaving is an effective cure for enhancing the robustness to narrowband interference. 展开更多

Accurate detection of important biomarkers with ultra-low levels in complex biological matrix is one of the frontier scientific issues because of possible signal interference of potential reductive agents and protein molecules.Herein,a self-powered anti-interference photoelectrochemical(PEC)immunosensor was explored for sensitive and specific detection of model target of cardiac troponinⅠ(cTnI).Specifically,a novel ternary heterojunction served as the photocathode to offer a remarkable current output and a zwitterionic peptide was introduced to build a robust antifouling biointerface.CuInS(CIS)film with porous network nanostructure was first prepared and then modified in order with ZnInS(ZIS)nanocrystals and Au nanoparticles to fabricate the Au/ZIS/CIS heterojunction photocathode.After capture cTnI antibody(Ab)was immobilized,the zwitterionic peptide KAEAKAEAPPPPC was then anchored to compete the immunosensor.The elaborated PEC immunosensor exhibited high sensitivity for target cTnI antigen(Ag)detection,with good anti-interference against reductive agents and nonspecific proteins.This integration strategy of heterojunction photocathode with zwitterionic peptide provides a new sight to develop advanced PEC immunosensors applying in practical biosamples. 展开更多

The ability to predict the anti-interference communications performance of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)data links is critical for intelligent route planning of UAVs in real combat scenarios.Previous research in this area has encountered several limitations:Classifiers exhibit low training efficiency,their precision is notably reduced when dealing with imbalanced samples,and they cannot be applied to the condition where the UAV’s flight altitude and the antenna bearing vary.This paper proposes the sequential Latin hypercube sampling(SLHS)-support vector machine(SVM)-AdaBoost algorithm,which enhances the training efficiency of the base classifier and circumvents local optima during the search process through SLHS optimization.Additionally,it mitigates the bottleneck of sample imbalance by adjusting the sample weight distribution using the AdaBoost algorithm.Through comparison,the modeling efficiency,prediction accuracy on the test set,and macro-averaged values of precision,recall,and F1-score for SLHS-SVM-AdaBoost are improved by 22.7%,5.7%,36.0%,25.0%,and 34.2%,respectively,compared with Grid-SVM.Additionally,these values are improved by 22.2%,2.1%,11.3%,2.8%,and 7.4%,respectively,compared with particle swarm optimization(PSO)-SVM-AdaBoost.Combining Latin hypercube sampling with the SLHS-SVM-AdaBoost algorithm,the classification prediction model of anti-interference performance of UAV data links,which took factors like three-dimensional position of UAV and antenna bearing into consideration,is established and used to assess the safety of the classical flying path and optimize the flying route.It was found that the risk of loss of communications could not be completely avoided by adjusting the flying altitude based on the classical path,whereas intelligent path planning based on the classification prediction model of anti-interference performance can realize complete avoidance of being interfered meanwhile reducing the route length by at least 2.3%,thus benefiting both safety and operation efficiency. 展开更多

The performance of a strapdown inertial navigation system(SINS)largely depends on the accuracy and rapidness of the initial alignment.A novel anti-interference self-alignment algorithm by attitude optimization estimation for SINS on a rocking base is presented in this paper.The algorithm transforms the initial alignment into the initial attitude determination problem by using infinite vector observations to remove the angular motions,the SINS alignment is heuristically established as an optimiza-tion problem of finding the minimum eigenvector.In order to further improve the alignment precision,an adaptive recursive weighted least squares(ARWLS)curve fitting algorithm is used to fit the translational motion interference-contaminated reference vectors according to their time domain characteristics.Simulation studies and experimental results favorably demonstrate its rapidness,accuracy and robustness. 展开更多

Automatic gauge control(AGC in the article)is the key technology of product thickness accuracy and flatness quality in modern cold rolling mill.Most traditional AGC control algorithms need stable external system conditions and hard to stabilize under complex interference that meets coverage requirements.This paper presents a new anti-interference strategy for AGC control of 20-Hi cold reversing mill.The proposed algorithm introduces a united dynamic weights algorithm of feed forward-mass flow to avoid the complex interference problem in AGC control,the relevant control strategy is provided to eliminate the adverse effects.At the same time,the D-value between feed forward-mass flow pre-computation and thickness measurement deviation is dynamic compared,the final gap position regulation is calculated by developing a set of united dynamic weights between feed forward control and mass flow control.Finally,the output of controllers is sent to actuator though a constant rate smoothing.The proposed strategy is compared with conventional AGC control on Experimental platform and project application,the results show that the proposed strategy is more stable than comparison method and majority of system uncertainty produced by mentioned interference is significantly eliminated. 展开更多

Memristors have a synapse-like two-terminal structure and electrical properties,which are widely used in the construc-tion of artificial synapses.However,compared to inorganic materials,organic materials are rarely used for artificial spiking synapses due to their relatively poor memrisitve performance.Here,for the first time,we present an organic memristor based on an electropolymerized dopamine-based memristive layer.This polydopamine-based memristor demonstrates the improve-ments in key performance,including a low threshold voltage of 0.3 V,a thin thickness of 16 nm,and a high parasitic capaci-tance of about 1μF·mm^(-2).By leveraging these properties in combination with its stable threshold switching behavior,we con-struct a capacitor-free and low-power artificial spiking neuron capable of outputting the oscillation voltage,whose spiking fre-quency increases with the increase of current stimulation analogous to a biological neuron.The experimental results indicate that our artificial spiking neuron holds potential for applications in neuromorphic computing and systems. 展开更多

With the increasing popularity of blockchain applications, the security of data sources on the blockchain is gradually receiving attention. Providing reliable data for the blockchain safely and efficiently has become a research hotspot, and the security of the oracle responsible for providing reliable data has attracted much attention. The most widely used centralized oracles in blockchain, such as Provable and Town Crier, all rely on a single oracle to obtain data, which suffers from a single point of failure and limits the large-scale development of blockchain. To this end, the distributed oracle scheme is put forward, but the existing distributed oracle schemes such as Chainlink and Augur generally have low execution efficiency and high communication overhead, which leads to their poor applicability. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes a trusted distributed oracle scheme based on a share recovery threshold signature. First, a data verification method of distributed oracles is designed based on threshold signature. By aggregating the signatures of oracles, data from different data sources can be mutually verified, leading to a more efficient data verification and aggregation process. Then, a credibility-based cluster head election algorithm is designed, which reduces the communication overhead by clarifying the function distribution and building a hierarchical structure. Considering the good performance of the BLS threshold signature in large-scale applications, this paper combines it with distributed oracle technology and proposes a BLS threshold signature algorithm that supports share recovery in distributed oracles. The share recovery mechanism enables the proposed scheme to solve the key loss issue, and the setting of the threshold value enables the proposed scheme to complete signature aggregation with only a threshold number of oracles, making the scheme more robust. Finally, experimental results indicate that, by using the threshold signature technology and the cluster head election algorithm, our scheme effectively improves the execution efficiency of oracles and solves the problem of a single point of failure, leading to higher scalability and robustness. 展开更多

Methods: Fifteen children (mean age 6.8 years) with bilateral SNHL underwent behavioral pure-tone audiometry and CAEP testing at 0.5, 1, 2, and 4 kHz. CAEP thresholds were determined using tone bursts, and correlations between CAEP and pure-tone thresholds were analyzed using Pearson correlation and t-tests. Results: A strong positive correlation was observed between P1 thresholds and behavioral thresholds across all test frequencies: 0.5 kHz (r = 0.765, p Conclusion: The strong correlation between P1 and behavioral thresholds demonstrates the reliability of CAEP testing for estimating auditory thresholds in children. The societal risk related to rainfalltriggered rapid debris flows is commonly managed in urbanized areas by means of early warning systems based on monitoring of hydrological parameters(such as rainfall or soil moisture) and thresholds values.In Alpine catchments,this type of landslides is recurrent and represent one of the major geohazards.Debris flows are typically initiated by high-intensity rainstorms,prolonged rainfall with moderate intensity or snow melting.They frequently happen in situations of temporary infiltration into soils that are initially unsaturated.During significant rainfall events,the rise in pore water pressure can become crucial for the stability of slopes in particular areas.This phenomenon relies on hydraulic and geotechnical characteristics,along with the thickness of the involved soils.This procedure can result in a local drop in shear strength,as both apparent cohesion and effective stress decline,while driving forces rise because of the increase in unit weight.Accordingly,this study estimates Intensity-Duration(I-D) rainfall thresholds at the site-specific and distributed scales by combining empirical and physics-based approaches and modeling of soil coverings involved in soil slips or debris slides inducing debris flows.The approach was tested for mountain slopes of the Valtellina valley(Lombardia region,northern Italy),which suffered several catastrophic landslide events in the last decades.The empirical approach was adopted to reconstruct physics-based slope models of representative source areas of past debris flows events.To such a scope,nonpunctual but distributed data of hydro-mechanical soil properties and thicknesses were considered.Thus,to reconstruct the unsaturated/saturated critical conditions leading the slope instability,a combined hydrological modeling and infinite-slope stability analysis was adopted.This combined hydromechanical numerical model was used to attempt to determine a three-dimensional Intensity-Duration threshold for landslide initiation considering plausible rainfall for the Valtellina valley.Due to the lack of reliable records of past landslide hindering a thorough empirical analysis,the presented approach can be considered as a feasible approach for establishing a warning standard in urbanized areas at risk of shallow landslides triggered by rainfall.Moreover,findings highlight the importance of having access to spatially distributed soil characteristics to define and enhance input data for physics-based modelling.Finally,the proposed approach can aid an early warning system for the onset of shallow landslides by utilizing real-time rainfall monitoring or now-casting through a meteorological radar technique. 展开更多
