Its structure, thermal stability ...A new electroluminescent material, salicylaldehyde anil zinc (SAZ) was synthesized, which can form high quality, thermal stability, nano-scale amorphous films by vacuum evaporation. Its structure, thermal stability were characterized by infrared (IR) spectra, differential thermal analysis-thermogravimetry (DTA-TG) analysis, respectively. The optical properties of SAZ were investigated by UV absorption spectra, Photoluminescence (PL) excitation and emission spectra. The highest occupied molecular orbits (HOMO), lowest unoccupied molecular orbits (LUMO) and optical band gap were evaluated by cyclic voltammetry curve and optical absorption band edge. The electroluminescent devices using SAZ as the emissive layer emit green light with a peak wavelength at 509 nm and a brightness of about 3.1 cd/m^2.展开更多

The proces...Chemometric methods are applied for the purpose of extracting relevant information from transient absorption spectroscopy data probing the photochromism of molecules from the family of salicylidene aniline. The process consists of an ultrafast excited state intramolecular proton transfer occurring from an enol form which is then followed by a cis-trans isomerization to finally reach a trans-keto photo-product. This work focuses on the potential of combining multivariate curve resolution for modeling pure profiles and two dimensional correlation spectroscopy data analysis for providing information on the dynamics of spectral features. The results obtained for one derivative of salicylidene aniline provide information regarding the number of species created after the proton transfer and characterization of their absorption spectra and their kinetics in the picosecond time scale. The spectral resolution of two cis-keto* forms is proposed for the first time. It is also found that both cis-keto* species are involved in the formation of the trans-keto photo-product. The main precursor of the trans-keto photo-product is the cis-keto* form which has the shortest characteristic time.展开更多

Two kinds of organic-inorganic comp osite luminescent material were pre pared through sol-gel route,by dopi ng o-amino-benzoic acid(ABA)or N-phenylanthranilic acid(N-PA)into SiO 2 xerogels.Fluorescence properties and ...Two kinds of organic-inorganic comp osite luminescent material were pre pared through sol-gel route,by dopi ng o-amino-benzoic acid(ABA)or N-phenylanthranilic acid(N-PA)into SiO 2 xerogels.Fluorescence properties and thermal properties of ABA and N-PA in SiO 2 xerogels were studied.The relation ship between the fluorescence properties and the preparative cond ition was also studied.The results s howed that the ABA was easy to form dim er of non-luminescence among the molec ules.The quenching concentration o f the ABA was obviously increased owi ng to the shield of silica network.The f luorescence intensity of the composite material prepared at the acid con dition was decreased,and a red shift for the fluorescence peak appeared.With th e increasing of the pH value,the flu-orescence peak blue shifted and the i ntensity was increased.However,th e fluorescent intensity of N-PA /SiO 2 was increasing due to the concentration of N-PA was increased.The thermal stability of ABA and N-PA in the composite material was also improved.But,when the temperature continued to incre ase,the collapse of the silica netwo rk made the organic molecules escape fr om the pore of the silica network,the decomposition of escaping molecule s decreased the intensity of emission spectrum.展开更多
