Songji Ancient Town in Yongchuan District,Chongqing,is a famous historical and cultural town in China and a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. In recent years, combining its unique historical and cultural heritage, the scenic area has developed research travel products themed on intangible cultural heritage and red tourism, attracting students from across the country to experience it.On the other hand,in the context of the deepening of the“double reduction”policy and the concept of a“high-quality education system,”the educational connotation of Songji Ancient Town’s research products is constantly enriching.Based on this, this article will combine the RMP theory to explore strategies for improving satisfaction with Yongchuan District’s“Songji Ancient Town Research Products”under a high-quality education system,to promote the development of the scenic area’s research experience projects and overall tourism service levels. 展开更多

The analysis of ancient genomics provides opportunities to explore human population history across both temporal and geographic dimensions(Haak et al.,2015;Wang et al.,2021,2024)to enhance the accessibility and utility of these ancient genomic datasets,a range of databases and advanced statistical models have been developed, including the Allen Ancient DNA Resource(AADR)(Mallick et al.,2024)and AdmixTools(Patterson et al.,2012).While upstream processes such as sequencing and raw data processing have been streamlined by resources like the AADR,the downstream analysis of these datasets-encompassing population genetics inference and spatiotemporal interpretation-remains a significant challenge. The AADR provides a unified collection of published ancient DNA(aDNA)data, yet its file-based format and reliance on command-line tools, such as those in Admix-Tools(Patterson et al.,2012),require advanced computational expertise for effective exploration and analysis. These requirements can present significant challenges forresearchers lackingadvanced computational expertise, limiting the accessibility and broader application of these valuable genomic resources. 展开更多

After the middle of the Ming Dynasty, along with the rapid social changes, the ideological trend of practical studies guided by the reflection and criticism of the Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism of“putting books on the shelf and not reading, exploring and studying without foundation”profoundly, widely, and comprehensively, affected every aspect of literary life.Influenced by this, selecting ancient proses in the Tianqi and Chongzhen periods developed new characteristics in three aspects:the purpose of selecting, the preferences of selecting, and the path of evaluating. As far as the purpose of selection is concerned, there is a new trend that the ancient writers of Tianqi and Chongzhen take the enlightenment and the world as the purpose of selection, and are no longer confined to the stereotypes of selecting articles for articles and selecting articles for their emotions.A large number of articles reflecting the economy and people’s livelihood, military affairs, and politics have been included in the anthology horizon of the anthology, thus expanding the selection types of ancient Chinese anthology. From the point of view of comments, the comments of Tianqi and Chongzhen ancient prose appear to be“especially today”.The merit of the ancient prose of management and government and the application of the world can replace the layout of the text, words, and rhetoric, and become the value of the selection of home evaluation. 展开更多

Ancient landslides with platform geomorphology occasionally reactivate, posing serious geohazards. On September 9,2021,persistent heavy rainfall triggered the reactivation of the Dahekou ancient landslide within a gently sloping geomorphology at the core of Zhangjiantan syncline in China's western Qinling-Daba Mountains. This event caused one death, damaged 80 houses, and blocked the Yushui River. This study reconstructs the sliding process of the Dahekou landslide and deciphers the complex landslide initiation mechanisms through field surveys, unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)imagery analysis, drilling, electrical resistivity tomography(ERT)and small baseline subset–interferometric synthetic aperture radar(SBAS–InSAR)monitoring. We divide the sliding process of the Dahekou landslide into three stages. Two new landslides(#1 and#2)occurred at 18:30 on September 9,2021.Subsequently,the ancient landslide(#3)slid in the 230°direction at approximately 20:30 on September 9,2021,then changed the direction to 170°–240°at 22:30 on the same day,and moved in the direction of 300°at 10:00 the next day. Finally, the reactivated ancient landslide(#3)formed two partially sliding masses, with volumes of approximately 158×10^(4)m^(3)and 160×10~4 m^(3),along the directions of 170°–240°and 300°,respectively,damaging 80 houses and blocking the Yushui River.Field surveys suggest that new landslides#1 and#2 are rock landslides and soil landslides, respectively, with volumes of approximately 230×10^(4)m^(3)and 7.49×10~4 m^(3).Compared with the InSAR data, the new landslide#1 thrust the ancient landslide#3,with an uplift velocity rate of 22.68 mm/a at the rear edge, from September 2020–September 2021.An analysis of drill hole data reveals that the bedding in the landslide area has complex geological conditions, comprising mudstone prone to slipping with different degrees of weathering.Notably, the core of the Zhangjiatan syncline sits on the sliding bedding of the ancient landslide, contributing to a change in the sliding direction. This comprehensive study reveals that the landslide#1 loading and thrusting, the persistent and heavy rainfall, and the complex geological conditions influenced the reactivated ancient landslide.Considering the intricacies of landslide failure mechanisms,we advocate for giving more attention in the future to the zone of potentially slip-prone strata located at the edge of ancient landslides. 展开更多

Shandong province, located in the Lower Yellow River,is one of the birthplaces of ancient Chinese civilization. However, the comprehensive genetic histories of this region have remained largely unknown until now due to a lack of ancient human genomes. Here,we present 21 ancient genomes from Shandong dating from the Warring States period to the Northern Dynasties.Unlike the early Neolithic samples from Shandong, the historical samples are most closely related to post-Late Neolithic populations of the Middle Yellow River Basin, suggesting a population turnover in Shandong from the Neolithic Age to the Historical era.In addition,we detect a close genetic affinity between the historical samples in Shandong and present-day Han Chinese, showing long-term genetic stability in Han Chinese,at least since the Warring States period. 展开更多

The translation of ancient Chinese cultural artifacts terminology in museums plays a pivotal role in facilitating cross-cultural communication and preserving cultural heritage in the context of globalization.Through field research in over ten Chinese museums and analysis of more than 800 terms, this paper explores the most effective translation methods for such terminology, focusing on transliteration and literal translation under the strategy of foreignization as well as liberal translation and imitation under the domesticating strategy.Standardized terminology not only prevents ambiguities but also bridges cultural gaps by preserving phonetic authenticity while contextualizing functionality.By refining translation practices, museums can better fulfill their mission as bridges between cultures, promoting global appreciation of China’s rich historical and artistic legacy. 展开更多

China's Northern and Southern Dynasties period(3rd–6th centuries AD)marked a significant era of ethnic integration in northern China. However, previous ancient DNA studies have primarily focused on northern ethnic groups, with limited research on the genetic formation of the hereditary elite family, especially considering their abundant archaeological record and clear material identity. In this study,we obtain the ancient genome of a hereditary elite family,Gao Bin(高宾,503 AD–572 AD),at 0.6473-fold coverage with 475,132 single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)on the 1240k panel. His mitochondrial haplogroup belongs to Z4 and Y-haplogroup to O1a1a2b-F2444∗.The genetic profile of Gao Bin is most similar to that of the northern Han Chinese. He can be modeled as deriving all his ancestry from Late Neolithic to Iron Age Yellow River farmers without influence from Northeast Asia,Korea,or the Mongolian Plateau. Our study sheds light on the genetic formation of hereditary elite families in the context of the Southern and Northern Dynasties ethnic integration. 展开更多
