Based on the nondestructive test data of operating railway tunnels in China, this paper summarizes the basic characteristics of the complex contact behavior between the rock mass and lining structure. The contact modes are classified into dense contact, local non-contact, and loose contact. Subsequently, the corresponding mechanical model for each contact mode is developed according to its mechanical characteristics using the complex variable method. In the proposed mechanical model, a special algorithm is introduced to detect whether the local non-contact zone is re-contacted. Besides, a novel conformal mapping method is also proposed to accurately calculate the mechanical response of the concrete lining. Finally, the accuracy of the proposed method is verified by comparing it with the finite element method(FEM). Several parameter investigations are conducted to analyze the effects of different contact modes on the rock-lining interaction. The results show that:(i) the height of the local noncontact area does not have a significant effect on the contact stress distribution if no re-contact occurs;(ii) backfill grouting can reduce the local stress concentration caused by poor contact modes;and(iii) reducing the friction coefficient of the interface can lead to a more uniform distribution of internal forces in the concrete lining. 展开更多

Surface irregularities,such as hills and ridges,can significantly amplify ground motion caused by earthquakes.Therefore,in this study,we propose an analytical solution model to investigate the interaction between an asymmetric triangular hill on Earth and SH waves.Firstly,based on the development of wave functions and regional matching techniques,we introduce a semi-circular artificial auxiliary boundary,dividing the solution model into a semi-infinite body containing a semi-circular depression and an asymmetric fan-shaped region.Secondly,we derive the domain function form applicable to solving asymmetric problems.Utilizing the theory of complex variables,we establish a well-posed matrix for solving domain functions within the same coordinate system.Numerical results demonstrate that the scattering of SH waves by a protuberance is jointly influenced by the geometric parameters of the hill and the angle of incidence.Additionally,the frequency of the incident wave also has a certain degree of impact on the displacement amplitude.This study elucidates the scattering mechanism of SH waves by complex boundaries,providing a theoretical reference for building site selection and seismic design.In practical problems,the asymmetric assumption is more applicable than the symmetry assumption. 展开更多

Determination of support mechanical mechanism of pre-stressed expandable props to stope roof in room-and-pillar mining

This study is to determine the support mechanism of pre-stressed expandable props for the stope roof in room- and-pillar mining, which is crucial for maintaining stability and preventing roof collapse in mines. Utilizing an engineering case from a gold mine in Dandong, China, a laboratory-based similar test is conducted to extract the actual roof characteristic curve. This test continues until the mining stope collapses due to a U-shaped failure. Concurrently, a semi-theoretical method for obtaining the roof characteristic curve is proposed and verified against the actual curve. The semi-theoretical method calculated that the support force and vertical displacement at the demarcation point between the elastic and plastic zones of the roof characteristic curve are 5.0 MPa and 8.20 mm, respectively, corroborating well with the laboratory-based similar test results of 0.22 MPa and 0.730 mm. The weakening factor for the plastic zone in the roof characteristic curve was semi-theoretically estimated to be 0.75. The intersection between the actual roof characteristic curve and the support characteristic curves of expandable props, natural pillars, and concrete props indicates that the expandable prop is the most effective “yielding support” for the stope roof in room-and-pillar mining. That is, the deformation and failure of the stope roof can be effectively controlled with proper release of roof stress. This study provides practical insights for optimizing support strategies in room-and-pillar mining, enhancing the safety and efficiency of mining operations. 展开更多

Since FGM parameters vary along three space coordinates, the parameters can be integrated in mechanical equations. Therefore with the parameters of a given FGM plate, problems of FGM plate under various conditions can be solved. The approach uses 1D discretization to obtain 3D solutions, which is proven to be an effective numerical method for the mechanical analyses of FGM structures. The stress state around circular openings,such as boreholes,shafts,and tunnels,is usually needed to be evaluated.Solutions for stresses,strains and ultimate bearing capacities of pressurized hollow cylinder are common cases.Stress analytical method for plane problem of a double-layered thick-walled cylinder subjected to a type of non-uniform pressure on the outer surface and uniform radial pressure on the inner surface is given.The power series method of complex function is used.The stress analytical solution is obtained with the assumption that two layers of a cylinder are fully contacted.The distributions of normal and tangential contact stress along the interface,tangential stress on the inner boundary and stresses in the radial direction at θ=0°,45° and 90°,are obtained.An example indicates that,when the elastic modulus of the inner layer of a double-layered thick-walled cylinder is smaller than that of the outer layer,the tangential stress is smaller than that in the corresponding point for a traditional cylinder composed of homogeneous materials.In that way,stress concentration at the inner surface can be alleviated and the stress distribution is more uniform.This is a capable way to enhance the elastic ultimate bearing capacity of thick-walled cylinder. 展开更多

Green’s function for the T-stress near a crack tip is addressed with an analytic function method for a semi-infinite crack lying in an elastical, isotropic, and infinite plate. The cracked plate is loaded by a single inclined concentrated force at an interior point. The complex potentials are obtained based on a superposition principle, which provide the solutions to the plane problems of elasticity. The regular parts of the potentials are extracted in an asymptotic analysis. Based on the regular parts, Green’s function for the T-stress is obtained in a straightforward manner. Furthermore, Green’s functions are derived for a pair of symmetrically and anti-symmetrically concentrated forces by the superimposing method. Then, Green’s function is used to predict the domain-switch-induced T-stress in a ferroelectric double cantilever beam (DCB) test. The T-stress induced by the electromechanical loading is used to judge the stable and unstable crack growth behaviors observed in the test. The prediction results generally agree with the experimental data. 展开更多

考虑中导洞施工效应的双连拱隧道应力与位移复变函数解

目前针对双连拱隧道施工影响的理论分析中较少考虑中导洞带来的施工效应,而含中导洞的双连拱隧道是较为常见的一种设计类型。实际施工中,中导洞先行施工,存在中导洞与左洞1、右洞2共用衬砌边界以及中隔墙的回筑工序。基于复变函数理论解... 目前针对双连拱隧道施工影响的理论分析中较少考虑中导洞带来的施工效应,而含中导洞的双连拱隧道是较为常见的一种设计类型。实际施工中,中导洞先行施工,存在中导洞与左洞1、右洞2共用衬砌边界以及中隔墙的回筑工序。基于复变函数理论解和Schwarz交替法,提出了考虑中导洞施工效应的双连拱隧道衬砌与围岩应力和变形的计算方法。针对中导洞与左右相邻洞室具有共用衬砌边界的特点,利用柯西积分法进行求解时,将各洞衬砌与围岩接触的边界积分条件转化为仅存在单洞时的完整边界积分与共用边界积分之差,与采用Schwarz交替法求解三洞相互作用过程中某一洞室开挖对邻洞产生“附加面力”的过程一致。基于苏州七子山连拱隧道工程,将解析结果与监测数据、数值模拟结果进行对比,证明了复变函数方法的可行性。此外,针对围岩泊松比、围岩弹性模量、中导洞高宽比、连拱整体对称性为关键因素,对围岩位移和衬砌临空面位移开展敏感性分析。结果表明:围岩弹性模量变化对洞1及洞2衬砌位移影响趋势一致。在相同角度下,围岩弹性模量越大,衬砌总位移越小,洞1、洞2衬砌位移均呈现“W”型,位移递增趋势拐点均位于左右拱脚处;中导洞高宽比越大,中导洞截面越趋向“高窄”型,中导洞围岩与衬砌最大主应力均出现增大趋势;当中导洞尺寸不变时,将另一洞室截面尺寸增大及减小,变为对称施工条件时,原洞室衬砌位移也出现增大及减小趋势,且共用衬砌区域增大趋势更明显。 展开更多

矩形巷道围岩应力分布及塑性区演化规律分析

巷道围岩应力分布与塑性区范围是巷道支护参数设计时的重要参考指标,基于复变理论获得矩形巷道围岩应力解析解和塑性区隐性方程,运用控制变量法研究不同应力场下巷道围岩应力分布特征及塑性区演化规律,通过与等效圆法思想对比分析巷道... 巷道围岩应力分布与塑性区范围是巷道支护参数设计时的重要参考指标,基于复变理论获得矩形巷道围岩应力解析解和塑性区隐性方程,运用控制变量法研究不同应力场下巷道围岩应力分布特征及塑性区演化规律,通过与等效圆法思想对比分析巷道局部不规则位置对塑性区分布的影响,并借助数值模拟验证理论分析的可靠性。研究结果表明:矩形巷道周边应力分布存在显著差异,应力环境的改变会导致巷道顶底板与两帮应力呈负相关变化,垂直于巷道轴向的围岩切向应力与径向应力均呈梯度变化,且在巷道围岩浅部区域两者变化幅度较大,随着远离巷道中心距离的增加,变化幅度逐渐放缓并最终恢复至原岩应力状态;巷道围岩塑性区扩展形态的不规则性随侧压系数的减小而逐渐增强,其形态由类椭圆形向类蝶形过渡再向蝶形演化,且理论分析与数值计算得到的围岩塑性区形态具有较高吻合度;复变理论分析与等效圆法分析所得塑性区尺寸及形态存在一定偏差,其中复变理论分析所得塑性区扩展形态与数值模拟更为吻合,这是由于等效圆法在理论分析时对断面形状进行了简化,难以准确反映巷道局部不规则位置的真实应力环境,表明局部不规则位置对围岩塑性区扩展具有显著影响。 展开更多

为了研究均匀拉伸开孔加筋无限板的应力计算方法,本文提出半解析计算方法。以复变函数为数学工具,推导开孔无限光板在面内受集中力作用下的应力函数,由此引入复变函数表达的应力函数的影响函数和位移影响函数。板筋之间的拉压力看作是... 为了研究均匀拉伸开孔加筋无限板的应力计算方法,本文提出半解析计算方法。以复变函数为数学工具,推导开孔无限光板在面内受集中力作用下的应力函数,由此引入复变函数表达的应力函数的影响函数和位移影响函数。板筋之间的拉压力看作是沿加强筋长度连续分布的无数个集中力,通过板筋之间的位移协调条件,即板筋接触面上的质点的位移相同,列出位移协调方程,这一方程是奇异积分方程。将所有连续分布的集中力离散成有限个集中力,运用数值解法求解这一方程,则可以求出所有板筋间的集中力。运用数值方法,推导了开孔单筋无限板、开孔双筋无限板和开孔三筋无限板的板筋作用力计算方程。求出板筋间作用力后,加筋板中板的应力函数则为应力函数的影响函数与各个集中力乘积后的累加求和再加上相应位置的开孔光板应力函数。求出板的应力函数后,板的应力则可以求出;求出板筋作用力后,筋的应力也可以求出。通过算例验证,半解析算法的结果与有限元计算结果吻合一致。 展开更多

许多工程中都存在含孔洞的结构,外荷载作用下孔边不可避免地产生应力集中,为了保证结构的安全和稳定,准确了解开孔结构的应力分布情况具有重要的工程实践价值。目前对单孔和特定形状双孔问题的研究较多,可以使用一些方法获得解析解,而... 许多工程中都存在含孔洞的结构,外荷载作用下孔边不可避免地产生应力集中,为了保证结构的安全和稳定,准确了解开孔结构的应力分布情况具有重要的工程实践价值。目前对单孔和特定形状双孔问题的研究较多,可以使用一些方法获得解析解,而对任意形状双孔问题的研究较少。复变函数方法对于任意双孔问题是适用的,关键要找到对应的映射函数。该文提出了可将任意无限双连通域保角变换成同心圆环域的映射函数一般形式,建立了一种优化求解具体映射函数的方法。针对无限平面中的任意双孔问题,基于弹性复变函数理论建立了应力边界条件,借助该映射函数将问题变换至易求解的同心圆环域,双解析函数则变换成洛朗级数,最后使用幂级数法将洛朗级数解出获得了问题的应力解析解。获得的应力解析解和ANSYS数值解进行了对比。使用该方法研究了双隧洞问题在不同荷载和不同间距时洞边应力分布的影响规律。 展开更多

浅埋超大跨硬质岩隧道的稳定性及失稳机理一直是工程界关注的重点。以胶州湾第二海底隧道正线与匝道并线超大跨段为工程依托,针对上土下岩复合地层中超大跨隧道拱顶上覆薄层岩板的开挖稳定性问题,将其简化为半无限空间内的平面开孔力学... 浅埋超大跨硬质岩隧道的稳定性及失稳机理一直是工程界关注的重点。以胶州湾第二海底隧道正线与匝道并线超大跨段为工程依托,针对上土下岩复合地层中超大跨隧道拱顶上覆薄层岩板的开挖稳定性问题,将其简化为半无限空间内的平面开孔力学模型,同时考虑岩土交界面的外部荷载及初始地应力进行了弹性解析计算分析;利用共形映射变换及复变函数求解方法得到了岩体的应力及位移解,并与有限元解进行对比,验证了该解析模型及求解方法的正确性。在此基础上,基于摩尔-库仑屈服准则,分析围岩的剪切破坏状态,最终得到了围岩状态随覆岩厚度的变化规律。研究结果表明:随着拱顶覆岩厚度的减小,当覆岩厚度大于2 m时,围岩的变形变化较为平稳,应力主要向边墙传递,并在墙角位置产生集中,隧道开挖后有显著的拱效应,围岩能够自稳;当覆岩厚度进一步减小,围岩变形程度加剧,应力逐渐向拱部集中,剪切破坏区率先出现在岩土交界面的隧道中轴线两侧,当拱顶覆岩厚度持续减小至0.8 m时,尽管洞周仍未出现剪切破坏区,但由于岩土交界面和隧道拱部的突变式下沉,岩土交界面产生了明显的受拉破坏区域,岩体已失稳,难以直接进行开挖支护施工。 展开更多
