Methods: a total of 150 children with suppurative tonsillitis in the department of pediatrics of Dingxi People's Hospital from July 2020 to July 2021 were selected and randomly divided into control group and treatment group, with 75 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional western medicine anti-infection treatment and ibuprofen antipyretic treatment, and the treatment group was given acupoint sticking combined with acupoint pricking and bloodletting on the basis of the control group. After treatment, the improvement of body temperature and the total effective rate of treatment were observed. Results: the total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group, and the range of temperature improvement was higher than that in the control group, P < 0.05. Conclusion: acupoint application combined with acupoint pricking and bloodletting has a definite clinical effect on high fever caused by suppurative tonsillitis in children, which can effectively improve the condition and reduce the body temperature, and is worth popularizing.展开更多
