The widespread adoption of the internet has provided new platforms and possibilities for Chinese language instruction.Students can utilize online resources or mobile devices for learning outside the classroom,while teachers can shift the“intensive instruction”component of comprehensive Chinese courses to extracurricular settings.This approach enables increased practice time during class sessions,truly placing the learner at the center of the educational process.The flipped classroom model aligns with this philosophy and complements the disciplinary characteristics of comprehensive Chinese courses.In practice,implementing the O-PIRTAS universal flipped classroom model revealed its effectiveness in enhancing oral proficiency and overall competency.However,it is essential to concurrently address students’writing skills and cultivate their awareness of the flipped classroom approach. 展开更多

Application of Formative Evaluation Based on WeChat-Wenjuanxing in the Teaching of Traditional Chinese Medicine Surgery

Objective:To analyze the value of formative evaluation based on WeChat-Wenjuanxing during the teaching of traditional Chinese medicine surgery.Methods:Students from the 2023 and 2024 grades of the traditional Chinese medicine surgery specialty were selected as samples.The 2023 grade students received regular summative evaluation to assist teaching,while the 2024 grade students received formative evaluation based on the WeChat-Wenjuanxing platform to assist teaching.Results:The average final score and excellent rate of the 2024 grade students were higher than those of the 2023 grade students(P<0.05).The teaching satisfaction of the 2024 grade students was higher than that of the 2023 grade students(P<0.05).Feedback analysis showed that students had a high acceptance of the formative evaluation based on WeChat-Wenjuanxing to assist teaching.Conclusion:The application of formative evaluation based on WeChat-Wenjuanxing in the teaching of traditional Chinese medicine surgery significantly improves students’performance,achieves excellent teaching quality,and results in high student satisfaction with the teaching of traditional Chinese medicine surgery. 展开更多

Objective:To explore the application value of a new empowerment teaching method based on Kirkpatrick’s evaluation model in teaching Chinese medicine nursing in otorhinolaryngology.Methods:60 nurses who practiced in the otolaryngology department of our hospital from June 2022 to October 2024 were included in the study and equally divided into two groups using a convenient sampling method.30 nurses who chose traditional Chinese medicine skill teaching management were included in the control group,and 30 nurses who chose the new empowerment teaching method based on Kirkpatrick’s evaluation model were included in the observation group.Relevant indicators such as clinical teaching environment perception,theoretical knowledge scores of Chinese medicine nursing,and excellent rate of practical operation assessment were compared.Results:The nurses in the observation group had higher scores for clinical teaching environment perception than the control group(P<0.05).However,the midterm and final exam scores for theoretical knowledge of Chinese medicine nursing were higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the observation group had a higher excellent rate of practical operation assessment(93.33%>73.33%)and a higher Chinese medicine nursing ability score[(215.69±19.73)points>(184.87±15.66)points](P<0.05).Conclusion:Applying the new empowerment teaching method based on Kirkpatrick’s evaluation model to Chinese medicine nursing teaching in otolaryngology can help nurses understand the theoretical knowledge of Chinese medicine nursing and optimize the clinical teaching environment,thereby promoting their practical skills and Chinese medicine nursing abilities. 展开更多

Against the strategic backdrop of forging and strengthening the consciousness of the Chinese national community in the new era,universities in border areas,as crucial platforms for the integration of multi-ethnic cultures,shoulder the significant mission of enhancing ethnic unity and promoting outstanding traditional Chinese culture.As an important carrier of Chinese culture,ethnic music not only contains profound historical memories and emotional identities but also demonstrates a powerful cultural and educational function in the teaching of border universities.Based on the actual situation of universities in border areas,this paper analyzes the unique value of ethnic music in cultivating students’national identity,cultural identity,and emotional identity,and explores effective paths for it to empower the forging and strengthening of the consciousness of the Chinese national community in teaching practice.By combining policy orientations and teaching status quo,the paper points out the main dilemmas such as single curriculum content,insufficient integration of ideological and political education,and a lack of practical resources,and proposes countermeasures such as strengthening the integration of ideological and political education,optimizing the curriculum structure,and expanding practical platforms.Through the deepening and innovation of ethnic music education,border universities can effectively enhance students’cultural consciousness and cultural confidence,providing solid educational support for forging and strengthening the consciousness of the Chinese national community.This paper has positive significance for promoting the high-quality development of education in border universities and constructing a new-era ethnic unity and progress education system. 展开更多
