The work comparing the Yamada-Ota and Xue models for nanoparticle flow across a stretching surface has benefits in nanotechnology,medicinal treatments,environmental engineering,renewable energy,and heat exchangers.Mos...The work comparing the Yamada-Ota and Xue models for nanoparticle flow across a stretching surface has benefits in nanotechnology,medicinal treatments,environmental engineering,renewable energy,and heat exchangers.Most published nanofluid flow models assumed constant thermal conductivity and viscosity.With such great physiognomies in mind,the novelty of this work focuses on comparing the performance of the nanofluid models,Xue,and Yamada-Ota models on a stretched sheet with variable thickness under the influence of a magnetic field and quadratic thermal radiation.The altered boundary layer equations for momentum and temperature,subject to adequate boundary conditions,are numerically solved using an optimized,efficient,and extensive bvp-4c approach.The effects of non-dimensional constraints such as magnetic field,power index of velocity,wall thickness parameter,and quadratic radiation parameter on momentum and temperature profile in the boundary layer area are analyzed thoroughly and outcomes were illustrated graphically.Additionally,the consequences of certain distinctive parameters over engineering factors are also examined and results were presented in tabular form.From the outcomes,it is seen that fluid velocity slows down in the presence of a magnetic field but the opposite nature is observed in the case of temperature profile.With a higher index of velocity,the velocity profile decreases and the temperature field elevates.It has been found that the presence of quadratic convection improves the temperature field.The outcomes of the two models are compared.The Yamada-Ota model performed far better than the Xue model in the heat transfer analysis.展开更多
Based on BERTopic Model,the paper combines qualitative and quantitative methods to explore the reception of Can Xue’s translated works by analyzing readers’book reviews posted on Goodreads and Lovereading.We first c...Based on BERTopic Model,the paper combines qualitative and quantitative methods to explore the reception of Can Xue’s translated works by analyzing readers’book reviews posted on Goodreads and Lovereading.We first collected book reviews from these two well-known websites by Python.Through topic analysis of these reviews,we identified recurring topics,including details of her translated works and appreciation of their translation quality.Then,employing sentiment and content analysis methods,the paper explored the emotional attitudes and the specific thoughts of readers toward Can Xue and her translated works.The fingdings revealed that,among the 408 reviews,though the reception of Can Xue’s translated works was relatively positive,the current level of attention and recognition remains insufficient.However,based on the research results,the paper can derive valuable insights into the translation and dissemination processes such as adjusting translation and dissemination strategies,so that the global reach of Chinese literature and culture can be better facilitated.展开更多
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effects of Tong-Qiao-Huo-Xue decoction(TQHXD)on the bloodbrain barrier(BBB)permeability and the expressions of related proteins on the rats;and to analyse the constituents in the cerebrospina...OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effects of Tong-Qiao-Huo-Xue decoction(TQHXD)on the bloodbrain barrier(BBB)permeability and the expressions of related proteins on the rats;and to analyse the constituents in the cerebrospinal fluid on the rats with cerebral ischemic injury.METHODS Cerebral ischemia rats were induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO).Adult male sprague-dawley(SD)rats were randomly divided into seven groups:sham-group;model group;nimodipine(NMP)-treated group and nao mai tai(NMT)-treated group were set as positive drug control groups;TQHXD-treated group(3,6 and 12g·kg-1body weight);The neurological function of rats was estimated by neurological defect scoring after the 1,7and 15 dafter administration.Histological structure of the brain in rats were observed by hematoxylin and eosin(H&E)staining.Ultramicrostructural features of hippocampus neurons and the opening of tight junction(TJ)of BBB in rats were observed by transmission electron microscope(TEM).Western blotting was performed to detect the expression of ZO-1,occludin,claudin-5,AQP-4 and MMP-9 in BBB after cerebral ischemia injury.Component analysis experiments:adult male SD rats were randomly divided into four groups:Distilled water was administered intragastrically sham-operated rats;Distilled water was administered intragastrically model rats by MCAO;TQHXD was administered intragatrically to rats in sham-operated group;TQHXD was administered intragestrically to rats in model group by MCAO.GC and HPLC was used to detect three compounds,namely,muscone,ligustilide and hydroxysafflor yellow A,in rats cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)after oral administration of TQHXD.Finally,samples of cerebrospinal fluid of rats in each group were compared with single medicine so as to explicit the three compounds come from which herb.RESULTS TQHXD significantly reduced the neurological defect scores.Histological examination indicated that dense neuropil and largely surviving neurons had been seen in TQHXD-treated rats.TEM observation revealed that TQHXD could significantly inhibit the damage of hippocampal neurons and reduce the opening of TJ.The decreased protein expression levels of claudin-5,occludin,ZO-1 and the increased protein expression levels of AQP-4 and MMP-9in cerebral ischemia tissue were significantly prevented by treatment of TQHXD.Analysis of experimental results showed that muscone,ligustilide and hydroxysafflor yellow A could penetrate the BBB into the CSF,and the content of the model group was lower than that of sham group after intragastric administration of TQHXD.CONCLUSION These results demonstrated that TQHXD may act as a potential neuroprotective agent against BBB damage for cerebral ischemia through protecting of hippocampus neurons,reducing the opening of TJ and decreasing the permeability of BBB by up-regulating ZO-1,occludin,claudin-5 expressions,down-regulating AQP-4 and MMP-9 expressions.The effect of TQHXD on the decrease of the opening of TJ also reduced the content of muscone,ligustilide and hydroxysafflor yellow A in cerebrospinal fluid.展开更多
Objective:Estradiol (E2) plays an important role in the development of breast cancer.In postmenopausal women,the estrogen can be synthesized via aromatase (CYP19) pathway and steroid-sulfatase (STS) pathway in ...Objective:Estradiol (E2) plays an important role in the development of breast cancer.In postmenopausal women,the estrogen can be synthesized via aromatase (CYP19) pathway and steroid-sulfatase (STS) pathway in peripheral tissues,when the production in ovary has ceased.The objective of our study was to explore the effects of Shu-Gan-Liang-Xue Decoction (SGLXD) on the expressions of CYP19 and STS in estrogen receptor positive breast cancer MCF-7 and T47D cells.Methods:The effects of SGLXD on the cell viability of MCF-7 and T47D were analyzed by MTT assay.By quantitative real-time RT-PCR and Western blot,we evaluated the mRNA and protein expressions of CYP19 and STS in MCF-7 and T47D cells after SGLXD treatment.Results:By MTT assay,the cell viability rates of MCF-7 and T47D were significantly inhibited by SGLXD in a dose-dependent manner,the IC50 values were 40.07 mg/ml for MCF-7 cells and 25.62 mg/ml for T47D cells,respectively.As evidenced by real-time PCR and Western blot,the high concentrations of SGLXD significantly down-regulated the expressions of CYP19 and STS both in the transcript level and the protein level.Conclusion:The results suggest that SGLXD is a potential dual aromatase-sulfatase inhibitor by simultaneously down-regulating the expressions of CYP19 and STS in MCF-7 and T47D cells.展开更多

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Qing Gan Huo Xue Prescription(QGHXP)in the treatment of patients with alcoholic liver cirrhosis(ALC)of damp and heat stasis syndrome.Methods:A total of 69 patients with ALC were r...Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Qing Gan Huo Xue Prescription(QGHXP)in the treatment of patients with alcoholic liver cirrhosis(ALC)of damp and heat stasis syndrome.Methods:A total of 69 patients with ALC were randomly divided into TCM group(n=35)and control group(n=34).The TCM group was given QGHXP 1 pack TID orally.Control group received polyene phosphatidylcholine capsule 456 mg TID for 24 weeks.The observation measurements are symptom efficacy rate,serum level of liver enzyme,and non-invasive liver cirrhosis evaluation,including liver stiffness measurement(LSM)examininged by FibroTouch,APRI score,FIB-4 index and Maddrey discriminant function.Results:The symptom efficacy rate of the experimental group and the control group was 85.70%and 61.80%(P=0.024).Liver enzyme levels(serum ALP,γ-GT,AST and ALT)of TCM group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).LSM of TCM group was reduced after treatment,and was significant lower than control group(14.19±1.49)vs.(15.06±1.24)(P<0.05).The APRI scores,FIB-4 index and Maddrey discriminant functions of TCM group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:QGHXP is an effective alternative for the treatment of damp and heat stasis syndrome of ALC in improving liver function and clinical symptoms.展开更多

Based on Nida's "functional equivalence" theory as the theoretical basis of the study, two different English versions of five-character jueju"Jiang Xue were chosen as the research objects, and studied from two perspectives, namely romantic charm including artistic images and conceptions and artistic form including language employed and rhythms to examine whether the two English versions have reproduced the source poem as it was. It was pointed out in the paper that achieving the functional equivalence between the source language poem and the translated version in terms of artistic images, language style and rhythm allows the possibility of the target language reader comprehending the translated version to the point that they can conceive of how the source language reader must have understood and appreciated the source poem.展开更多

Objective To investigate the prevention effects and the physicochemical mechanisms of action of Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang on delayed cerebral vasospasm(DCD) after subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).Methods Macaca cynomolgus we...Objective To investigate the prevention effects and the physicochemical mechanisms of action of Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang on delayed cerebral vasospasm(DCD) after subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).Methods Macaca cynomolgus were divided into two groups and underwent craniectomy,a semipermeable microdialysis catheter was placed adjacent to right middle cerebral artery (MCA).Therapeutic group were exposed to Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang and control group to placebo via oral .Results The diameter of proximal MCA in therapeutic group changed slightly on 7th day after operation(P >0.05),whereas it decreased prominently(P< 0.05) in control group with severe vasospasm.OxyHb concentration:There’s no significant difference between the two groups on 2nd ~5th day(P >0.05),the concentration of therapeutic group(was zero after 8 days) was lower than that of control group (became zero after 12 days) on 6th ~8th day(P< 0.05).The peak value of therapeutic group (on 5th day) was lower than that of control group (on 7th day)(P< 0.05).Conclusion Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang can prevent DCV after SAH effectively and decreasing OxyHb concentration around vessels after SAH maybe the mechanism.展开更多

目的观察苍龟探穴针刺法与肩胛带稳定性训练治疗肩袖损伤的临床疗效及对肩外旋角的影响。方法将100例肩袖损伤患者随机分为单一组和联合组,每组50例。单一组采用肩胛带稳定性训练干预方案,联合组在单一组的基础上采用苍龟探穴针刺法。...目的观察苍龟探穴针刺法与肩胛带稳定性训练治疗肩袖损伤的临床疗效及对肩外旋角的影响。方法将100例肩袖损伤患者随机分为单一组和联合组,每组50例。单一组采用肩胛带稳定性训练干预方案,联合组在单一组的基础上采用苍龟探穴针刺法。观察两组治疗前后美国肩肘外科协会(American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons,ASES)评分、疼痛视觉模拟量表(visual analog scale,VAS)评分、肩周激痛点(myofascial trigger point,MTrP)数量、肩关节活动度及健康调查简表(MOS 36-item short-form health survey,SF-36)评分的变化,并比较两组临床疗效。结果联合组的总有效率为92.0%,高于单一组的70.0%(P<0.05)。两组治疗后ASES评分均升高(P<0.05),且联合组高于单一组(P<0.05)。两组治疗后VAS评分均降低(P<0.05),且联合组低于单一组(P<0.05)。两组治疗后MTrPs数量均减少(P<0.05),且联合组少于单一组(P<0.05)。两组治疗后肩关节活动度均增大(P<0.05),且联合组大于单一组(P<0.05)。两组治疗后SF-36评分均升高(P<0.05),且联合组高于单一组(P<0.05)。结论针刺联合肩胛带稳定性训练可有效缓解肩袖损伤患者肩部疼痛,促进肩关节功能恢复。展开更多

文摘Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Qing Gan Huo Xue Prescription(QGHXP)in the treatment of patients with alcoholic liver cirrhosis(ALC)of damp and heat stasis syndrome.Methods:A total of 69 patients with ALC were randomly divided into TCM group(n=35)and control group(n=34).The TCM group was given QGHXP 1 pack TID orally.Control group received polyene phosphatidylcholine capsule 456 mg TID for 24 weeks.The observation measurements are symptom efficacy rate,serum level of liver enzyme,and non-invasive liver cirrhosis evaluation,including liver stiffness measurement(LSM)examininged by FibroTouch,APRI score,FIB-4 index and Maddrey discriminant function.Results:The symptom efficacy rate of the experimental group and the control group was 85.70%and 61.80%(P=0.024).Liver enzyme levels(serum ALP,γ-GT,AST and ALT)of TCM group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).LSM of TCM group was reduced after treatment,and was significant lower than control group(14.19±1.49)vs.(15.06±1.24)(P<0.05).The APRI scores,FIB-4 index and Maddrey discriminant functions of TCM group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:QGHXP is an effective alternative for the treatment of damp and heat stasis syndrome of ALC in improving liver function and clinical symptoms.

文摘Chinese ancient poetry is artistically beautified with extraordinarily subtle artistic images, conceptions and rhythms.How well the translator knows and understands the linguistic and cultural differences between Chinese and English and the source poem in terms of its author, writing background and intended artistic conceptions, and what translating strategies the translator adopts will have a great impact on the translated version. Based on Nida's "functional equivalence" theory as the theoretical basis of the study, two different English versions of five-character jueju"Jiang Xue were chosen as the research objects, and studied from two perspectives, namely romantic charm including artistic images and conceptions and artistic form including language employed and rhythms to examine whether the two English versions have reproduced the source poem as it was. It was pointed out in the paper that achieving the functional equivalence between the source language poem and the translated version in terms of artistic images, language style and rhythm allows the possibility of the target language reader comprehending the translated version to the point that they can conceive of how the source language reader must have understood and appreciated the source poem.

文摘Primary liver cancer is the most common malignant tumor of the liver.Surgery,intervention,radiotherapy,and chemotherapy are the main treatment methods in the early stage,and the basic principles of post-treatment are palliative treatment and symptomatic treatment.Xue Jing-Dong,a famous Chinese doctor,started from the etiology and pathogenesis of liver cancer,used the methods of promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis,nourishing blood and replenishing liver,and applied Taohong Siwu Decoction based on long-term clinical experience to cure 1 case of primary liver cancer stage Ⅲa in two years.The patient’s survival period can be prolonged and the quality of life can be improved.The author begins with the diagnosis of stage Ⅲa liver cancer,western medicine treatment methods,and previous treatment experience of traditional Chinese medicine,and briefly describes the diagnosis and treatment of this patient.
文摘Objective To investigate the prevention effects and the physicochemical mechanisms of action of Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang on delayed cerebral vasospasm(DCD) after subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).Methods Macaca cynomolgus were divided into two groups and underwent craniectomy,a semipermeable microdialysis catheter was placed adjacent to right middle cerebral artery (MCA).Therapeutic group were exposed to Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang and control group to placebo via oral .Results The diameter of proximal MCA in therapeutic group changed slightly on 7th day after operation(P >0.05),whereas it decreased prominently(P< 0.05) in control group with severe vasospasm.OxyHb concentration:There’s no significant difference between the two groups on 2nd ~5th day(P >0.05),the concentration of therapeutic group(was zero after 8 days) was lower than that of control group (became zero after 12 days) on 6th ~8th day(P< 0.05).The peak value of therapeutic group (on 5th day) was lower than that of control group (on 7th day)(P< 0.05).Conclusion Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang can prevent DCV after SAH effectively and decreasing OxyHb concentration around vessels after SAH maybe the mechanism.

文摘The creation of a national unified textbook on acupuncture was a critical effort by China to standardize traditional Chinese medicine.In the early People’s Republic of China,the development of acupuncture textbooks followed a complex trajectory.It began with Zhu Lian’s(朱琏)Xin Zhen Jiu Xue(《新针灸学》New Acupuncture and Moxibustion),extending the Yan’an(延安)tradition,and moved to Zhen Jiu Xue(《针灸学》Acupuncture and Moxibustion,1957),a localized effort from the Jiangsu Provincial Chinese Medicine School.This culminated in the national Zhen Jiu Xue Jiang Yi(《针灸学讲义》Lectures on Acupuncture and Moxibustion).This process reflects a shift from regional teaching to a standardized national model,as well as a pedagogical transformation from a scientific approach to a return to classical sources.The textbook centers on Bian Zheng Lun Zhi(辨证论治treatment based on pattern differentiation),blending systematic,scientific,and practical elements,and represents the era’s fusion of Chinese and Western medicine,helping to shape a modern acupuncture framework.
文摘目的观察苍龟探穴针刺法与肩胛带稳定性训练治疗肩袖损伤的临床疗效及对肩外旋角的影响。方法将100例肩袖损伤患者随机分为单一组和联合组,每组50例。单一组采用肩胛带稳定性训练干预方案,联合组在单一组的基础上采用苍龟探穴针刺法。观察两组治疗前后美国肩肘外科协会(American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons,ASES)评分、疼痛视觉模拟量表(visual analog scale,VAS)评分、肩周激痛点(myofascial trigger point,MTrP)数量、肩关节活动度及健康调查简表(MOS 36-item short-form health survey,SF-36)评分的变化,并比较两组临床疗效。结果联合组的总有效率为92.0%,高于单一组的70.0%(P<0.05)。两组治疗后ASES评分均升高(P<0.05),且联合组高于单一组(P<0.05)。两组治疗后VAS评分均降低(P<0.05),且联合组低于单一组(P<0.05)。两组治疗后MTrPs数量均减少(P<0.05),且联合组少于单一组(P<0.05)。两组治疗后肩关节活动度均增大(P<0.05),且联合组大于单一组(P<0.05)。两组治疗后SF-36评分均升高(P<0.05),且联合组高于单一组(P<0.05)。结论针刺联合肩胛带稳定性训练可有效缓解肩袖损伤患者肩部疼痛,促进肩关节功能恢复。
