An innovative nonlinear bionic X-shaped vibration isolator enhanced by quasi-zero stiffness characteristics:theory and experimental investigation

Bionic X-shaped vibration isolators have been widely employed in aerospace and other industrial fields,but the stiffness properties of classic X-shaped structures limit the vibration isolation ability for low frequencies.An innovative bionic quasi-zero stiffness(QZS)vibration isolator(BQZSVI),which can broaden the QZS range of a classic X-shaped isolator and can bring it closer to the equilibrium position,is proposed.The BQZSVI consists of an X-shaped structure as the bone fabric of lower limbs and a nonlinear magnetic loop device simulating the leg muscle.Based on static calculation,the stiffness characteristic of the structure is confirmed.The governing equations of motion of the BQZSVI structure are established in the framework of the Lagrange equation,and the harmonic balance method(HBM)is adopted to obtain the transmissibility responses.The results show that the BQZSVI can provide a more accessible and broader range of QZS.In the dynamic manifestation,the introduction of the BQZSVI can reduce the amplitude of a classic X-shaped vibration isolator by 65.7%,and bring down the initial vibration isolation frequency from 7.43 Hz to 2.39 Hz.In addition,a BQZSVI prototype is designed and fabricated,and the exactitude of the theoretical analysis method is proven by means of experiments. 展开更多

A novel X-shaped variable stiffness vibration isolator(X-VSVI)is proposed.The Runge-Kutta method,harmonic balance method,and wavelet transform spectra are introduced to evaluate the performance of the X-VSVI under various excitations.The layer number,the installation angle of the X-shaped structure,the stiffness,and the active control parameters are systematically analyzed.In addition,a prototype of the X-VSVI is manufactured,and vibration tests are carried out.The results show that the proposed X-VSVI has a superior adaptability to that of a traditional X-shaped mechanism,and shows excellent vibration isolation performance in response to different amplitudes and forms of excitations.Moreover,the vibration isolation efficiency of the device can be improved by appropriate adjustment of parameters. 展开更多

Existing quasi-zero stiffness(QZS)isolators are reviewed.In terms of their advantages,a novel X-shape QZS isolator combined with the cam-roller-spring mechanism(CRSM)is proposed.Different from the existing X-shape isolators,oblique springs are used to enhance the negative stiffness of the system.Meanwhile,the CRSM is used to eliminate the gravity of the loading mass,while the X-shape structure leaves its static position.The existing QZS isolators are demonstrated and classified according to their nonlinearity mechanisms and classical shapes.It is shown that the oblique spring can realize negative stiffness based on the simplest mechanism.The X-shape has a strong capacity of loading mass,while the CRSM can achieve a designed restoring force at any position.The proposed isolator combines all these advantages together.Based on the harmonic balance method(HBM)and the simulation,the displacement transmissibilities of the proposed isolator,the X-shape isolators just with oblique springs,and the X-shape isolators in the traditional form are studied.The results show that the proposed isolator has the lowest beginning isolation frequency and the smallest maximum displacement transmissibility.However,it still has some disadvantages similar to the existing QZS isolators.This means that its parameters should be designed carefully so as to avoid becoming a bistable system,in which there are two potential wells in the potential energy curve and thus the isolation performance will be worsened. 展开更多

To investigate the seismic behavior of specially shaped column joints with X-shaped reinforcement,two groups of specimens with or without X-shaped reinforcement in joint core region were tested under constant axial compression load and low reversed cyclic loading,which imitated low to moderate earthquake force.The seismic behavior of specially shaped column joints with X-shaped reinforcement in terms of bearing capacity,displacement,ductility,hysteretic curve,stiffness degradation and energy dissipation was studied and compared to that without Xshaped reinforcement in joint core region.With the damage estimation model,the accumulated damage was analyzed.The shearing capacity formula of specially shaped column joints reinforced by X-shaped reinforcement was proposed with a simple form.The test results show that X-shaped reinforcement is an effective measure for improving the seismic behavior of specially shaped column joints including deformation behavior,ductility and hysteretic characteristic.All specimens were damaged with gradual stiffness degeneration.In addition,X-shaped reinforcement in the joint core region is an effective way to lighten the degree of cumulated damage.The good seismic performance obtained from the specially shaped column joint with X-shaped reinforcement can be used in engineering applications.The test value is higher than the calculated value,which indicates that the formula is safe for the design of specially shaped column joints. 展开更多

The transitions and morphology of a series of main-chain liquid crystalline polymer with X-shaped mesogens were studied by means of DSC,SALS and polarizing microscopy techniques. Aneven-odd effect was observed for samples with different size of the substituents on the mesogenends. The isotropization process was similar to that of main-chain polymers with rod-likemesogens. No crystallization was detected for specimens cooling down from their isotropic meltstate. However two of the samples may crystallize in cooling process directly from the liquidcrystalline state. 展开更多

A novel series of main chain liquid crystalline copolyesters with X-shaped two-dimensional mesogenic unit and crown ether cycle of cis-4,4'-bis(4-hydroxyphenylazo) dibenzo-18-crown-6 was prepared via solution condensation polymerization from 4,4'-(a;arhexanedioyloxy) dibenzoyl dichloride (MI), 2,5-bis(p-octyloxybenzoyloxy) hydro-quinone (M2) and cis-4,4'-bis(4-hydroxyphenylazo) dibenzo-18-crown-6 (M3). Monomer MI was synthesized by esterification and substitution of adipoyl chloride with p-hydroxybenzoic acid, monomer M2 was synthesized by esterfication and reduction reaction of 2,5-dihydroxybenzoquinone and p-octanoxybenzoyl chloride and monomer M3 was synthesized by diazotization and coupling reaction of cis-diaminodibenzo-18-crown-6 with phenol. The molecular weights of copolyesters are not high, and the intrinsic viscosity [η] of copolyesters ranges from 0.25-0.35. The monomers' structures were identified by using elemental analysis, IR, UV, ^1H-NMR, MS, etc. All the copolyesters are yellowish powders and insoluble in THF and CHC13 at room temperature except cPg. The properties of copolyesters were investigated by using GPC, [η] , DSC, TG, WAXD and POM. It was found that all the copolyesters entered into liquid crystal phase when they were heated to above their melting temperature (Tin). The typical smectic and nematic phase texture can be observed on POM. Their mesophase transition temperature and thermal stability change regularly with varying the content of cis-4,4'-bis(4-hydroxyphenylazo) dibenzo-18-crown-6 unit in the copolyesters. 展开更多

A series of main chain liquid crystal aromatic copolyesters with X-shaped and rod-shaped mesogenic units were synthesized via solution condensation polymerizations of 4,4'-(alpha,omega-octanedioyloxy)-dibenzoyl dichlorides with 2,5-bis(p-octanoxy benzoyloxy)-hydroquinone and diphenol. All of the copolyesters showed thermotropic liquid crystalline behaviors through observations using DSC, polarized microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The melting point (T-m) and the isotropization temperature (T-i) change regularly with varying the content of diphenol unit in the copolymers. 展开更多

Effects of X-shaped Energy Dissipating Steel Dampers on the seismic response of high-speed railway track-bridge systems considering costs

The high-speed railway track-bridge system(HSRTBS)is susceptible to damage under the effects of earthquakes,thus threatening the safety of running trains.To improve the seismic performance of HSRTBS and reduce damage to the system,a replaceable X-shaped Energy Dissipating Steel Damper(X-EDSD)is proposed,which contains the energy-dissipating component(EDC)to dissipate the earthquake energy.Cyclic tests were performed to obtain the hysteretic performance of the EDC and X-EDSD,and a test-validated numerical model was developed to conduct parametric analyses.The X-EDSD was simplified as a nonlinear spring element with hysteretic parameters and modeled into the numerical model of the HSRTBS for seismic dynamic analyses.The peak displacements of girder and rail decreased by approximately 48.1%and 47.7%,respectively.The peak deflections of the fasteners,cement asphalt mortar layer and sliding layer were reduced by 70.4%,70.8%,and 86.1%,respectively.A comprehensive consideration of the system response control-economic cost ratio coefficient R_(pe)is proposed,and the optimal thickness of 14.94 mm is obtained by applying cubic term coefficient fitting according to 5 groups of steel plate thickness data for the specific case study in this paper.The method can be used for cost-informed X-EDSD-selection for seismic mitigation of HSRTBS. 展开更多

大古(DG)水电站建成运行后下游尾水较高而戽池尾坎高度较低,戽池检修时需修建的挡水围堰成本较高且是临时工程。提高戽池尾坎高度兼做检修挡水围堰是方便戽池检修及降低检修成本的有效解决途径。为分析戽式消力池尾坎加高方案的可行性,... 大古(DG)水电站建成运行后下游尾水较高而戽池尾坎高度较低,戽池检修时需修建的挡水围堰成本较高且是临时工程。提高戽池尾坎高度兼做检修挡水围堰是方便戽池检修及降低检修成本的有效解决途径。为分析戽式消力池尾坎加高方案的可行性,通过1∶60的水工模型对DG水电站戽池尾坎加高优化方案的水力特性进行系统研究。研究内容包括对不同戽池尾坎加高体型及高度,戽池内的水流流态、水面线、动水压强分布、流速分布等。试验结果表明:两种尾坎加高体型在相同尾坎加高高程条件下,沿原1∶2坡度加高尾坎方案戽池尾坎处水位壅高幅度相对较低,坎后水面跌落幅度更小,水流条件明显优于尾坎直立加高方案。综合考虑工程造价和兼顾下游电站建成后尾坎既能满足戽池检修挡水的需要又对现有电站的安全运行不造成明显影响等因素影响,确定沿原1∶2坡度将尾坎高程由3360.0m加高尾坎至3369.0 m高程方案是可行的。 展开更多

基于X形扩散滤波的逆时偏移低频噪声压制方法

逆时偏移成像方法因其不受成像角度的限制,可以对复杂构造进行成像而备受青睐。但逆时偏移方法却存在着固有的低频噪声,严重影响了偏移成像的效果,如何压制逆时偏移的低频噪声以获得高质量的偏移成像结果显得尤为重要。其中拉普拉斯滤... 逆时偏移成像方法因其不受成像角度的限制,可以对复杂构造进行成像而备受青睐。但逆时偏移方法却存在着固有的低频噪声,严重影响了偏移成像的效果,如何压制逆时偏移的低频噪声以获得高质量的偏移成像结果显得尤为重要。其中拉普拉斯滤波法是目前最常用的低频噪声压制方法,但它依旧保留着一部分低频噪声,且改变了地震数据的振幅信息。为此,从常规逆时偏移方法出发,对逆时偏移的低频噪声产生的机理进行详细分析,提出了基于X形扩散滤波的低频噪声压制方法。该方法为一种全局非线性迭代滤波方法,将热力学领域的扩散函数引入逆时偏移噪声压制中,将含有低频噪声的逆时偏移数据体作为输入;然后引入针对复杂倾斜构造的X形补充去噪算子,通过调节扩散系数和迭代次数,并设置扩散的阻尼函数以灵活地调控扩散的程度,在相对保幅的条件下将有效信号与低频噪声分开。通过对简单模型和复杂模型的数值测算,验证了基于X形扩散滤波方法能快速、准确地压制逆时偏移中的低频噪声,获得高质量的偏移成像结果。 展开更多

微凸结构对X形通道流动换热特性的影响

换热管作为一种能量传输装置能提升热交换减少热损失,其中多管交叉连通的换热管在工业应用中较为常见。为了提升X形换热管的综合换热性能,采用二维仿真模型,利用Fluent软件进行数值仿真,通过在直换热管道中内置等腰梯形、矩形、前直角... 换热管作为一种能量传输装置能提升热交换减少热损失,其中多管交叉连通的换热管在工业应用中较为常见。为了提升X形换热管的综合换热性能,采用二维仿真模型,利用Fluent软件进行数值仿真,通过在直换热管道中内置等腰梯形、矩形、前直角梯形、后直角梯形以及三角形5种微凸结构研究其换热增强特性,研究发现,后直角梯形微凸结构在高径比P为0.1时,管道强化换热能力最强,直管综合换热性能评价标准最高达到1.24。在此基础上以恒定壁温353 K、入口流速为0.3~0.7 m/s的工况,研究了后直角梯形微凸结构在高径比P为0.1时,微凸间距对X形通道的换热性能影响,为预测管道夹角对换热性能的影响,对5种可能形成的夹角角度也进行了研究。研究结果表明:X形通道的换热能力与入口流速不呈正相关,在入口流速为0.5 m/s时达到最大;X形通道的换热增强能力与微凸结构布置形式有关,当微凸结构面积占计算域二维通道面积比例约为1/22时,有较强换热能力;管道夹角与入口流速综合影响其换热能力,小管道夹角在低流速状态下换热能力增强效果明显,大管道夹角在高流速状态下略有增强。当换热管夹角为115°,入口流速为0.5 m/s,间距d 1为6 mm,间距d 2为2 mm时,将产生明显的增强换热效果,综合换热性能评价标准最大达到1.84。研究结果可为多入口多出口换热管如何提升换热能力提供一定参考。 展开更多

Constructal entransy dissipation rate minimization for X-shaped vascular networks 被引量:11

Combining with entransy theory, constructal designs of the X-shaped vascular networks(XSVNs) are implemented with fixed total tube volumes of the XSVNs. The entransy dissipation rates(EDRs) of the XSVNs are minimized, and the optimal constructs of the XSVNs are derived. Comparison of the optimal constructs of the XSVNs with two optimization objectives(EDR minimization and entropy generation rate(EGR) minimization) is conducted. It is found that when the dimensionless mass flow rate(DMFR) is small, the optimal diameter ratio of the elemental XSVN derived by EDR minimization is different from that derived by EGR minimization. For the multilevel XSVN, when the DMFR is 100, compared the XSVN with the corresponding H-shaped vascular network(HSVN), the dimensionless EDRs of the elemental, second and fourth order XSVNs are reduced by 26.39%, 15.34% and 9.81%, respectively. Compared with the entransy dissipation number(EDN) of the second order XSVN before angle optimization, the EDN after optimization is reduced by 26.15%, which illustrates that it is significant to conduct angle optimization of the XSVN. Entransy theory is applied into the constructal design of the vasculature with heat transfer and fluid flow in this paper, which provides new directions for the vasculature designs. 展开更多

The energy dissipation of X-shaped flaring gate piers ahead of a stepped spillway was adopted in the Suofengying Hydroplant. Under the circumstance that the first step is higher than others, at the step surface an aerated cavity occured behind piers. The interaction of the weir head, the elevation difference between crest and chamber outlet, the first step height, the slopes of weir end and step, and the size of cavity, was investigated, the expression was derived to characterize their relationship, and the corresponding curves were plotted. The comparison of the calculated and simulated results with the measured data was performed. When the slopes of step and weir end are equivalent, the relative height difference between the first and second steps becomes the main factor influencing the aerated cavity. These findings may be useful in practical applications. 展开更多

新型快速架设X型铝合金装配桥梁实现了化整为零和拼零为整,该梁体由横向间距1 m的两道X型梁片拼接而成,X型梁片分为阴阳两种类型,阳梁片插入阴梁片再横向插入销棒进行联结,销棒直接联通横向两道梁片兼有横向支撑的作用。X型梁片顶部设... 新型快速架设X型铝合金装配桥梁实现了化整为零和拼零为整,该梁体由横向间距1 m的两道X型梁片拼接而成,X型梁片分为阴阳两种类型,阳梁片插入阴梁片再横向插入销棒进行联结,销棒直接联通横向两道梁片兼有横向支撑的作用。X型梁片顶部设有密肋桥面板,横向两个梁片之间设有X型支撑。经过数值计算证明,采用快速拼接的铝合金桥梁,其每个构件的最大质量仅为135 kg,而且施工过程中的灵活性也很高,承受的活荷载挠度仅为跨径的1/300,这样的构造不仅保证了强度与刚度的要求,而且屈曲稳定分析也证明了其具备良好的总体稳定性;此外,基频率达到4.13 Hz,说明其构造的动态特征符合预期。 展开更多

随着5G通信技术的商用和卫星通信的快速发展及技术创新,设计了一种使用“X”型隔离结构的三频二元多输入多输出(MIMO)天线。天线由两个倒置且平行放置的单元辐射贴片组成,并通过在其正面、背面加载隔离枝节来提高天线的隔离度,同时在天... 随着5G通信技术的商用和卫星通信的快速发展及技术创新,设计了一种使用“X”型隔离结构的三频二元多输入多输出(MIMO)天线。天线由两个倒置且平行放置的单元辐射贴片组成,并通过在其正面、背面加载隔离枝节来提高天线的隔离度,同时在天线背面采用开槽技术来改善天线的带宽。天线整体尺寸仅有37 mm×25 mm×0.8 mm,实测工作频段为4.3~5.8 GHz、8.02~9.3 GHz和12.2~14.8 GHz,在工作范围内端口隔离度均优于23 dB,全频段包络相关系数(ECC)<0.03,分集增益(DG)>9.99 dB,分集性能良好,满足MIMO天线传输性能的要求。研究表明,该天线适用于5G和卫星通信系统。 展开更多

非均相类芬顿催化氧化是一种很有前途的有机污染物去除方法。本文采用简单乙二醇辅助的方式制备了棒状多孔CoN_(x)@TiO_(x)催化剂。通过XRD、SEM、TEM、HRTEM、XPS对催化剂进行了表征,进一步研究了催化剂活化过氧单硫酸盐(PMS)降解左氧... 非均相类芬顿催化氧化是一种很有前途的有机污染物去除方法。本文采用简单乙二醇辅助的方式制备了棒状多孔CoN_(x)@TiO_(x)催化剂。通过XRD、SEM、TEM、HRTEM、XPS对催化剂进行了表征,进一步研究了催化剂活化过氧单硫酸盐(PMS)降解左氧氟沙星(Levo)性能,并详细研究了催化机制。结果表明,CoN_(x)@TiO_(x)在10.5 min内对Levo(20 mg/L)的降解率可达90%左右。进一步探讨了PMS用量、催化剂用量、Levo浓度、水质、污染物及阴离子种类、pH值等环境参数对Levo降解的影响。同时循环实验结果表明,在循环设备运行大约16 h内,Levo的降解率仍保持在85%左右,实现了对Levo的持续高效处理。这主要是由于前驱体在高温氮化过程中形成了碳膜,包裹在CoN_(x)@TiO_(x)表面,使催化剂具有优异的稳定性和循环性。电化学测试和自由基淬灭实验表明,空穴和^(1)O_(2)在CoN_(x)@TiO_(x)/PMS体系降解Levo过程中起主要作用。 展开更多
