However, the scaling process of elastic rings introduces complexities in multi-parameter geometric distortions, leading to a diminution in the predictive accuracy of the distorted similitude. To address this challenge, this study formulates a novel set of scaling laws, tailored to account for the intricate geometric distortions associated with elastic rings. The proposed scaling laws are formulated based on the intrinsic deformation characteristics of elastic rings, rather than the traditional systemic governing equations. Numerical and experimental cases are conducted to assess the efficacy and precision of the proposed scaling laws, and the obtained results are compared with those achieved by traditional methods. The outcomes demonstrate that the scaling laws put forth by this study significantly enhance the predictive capabilities for deformations of elastic rings.展开更多

文摘A large-scale view of the magnetospheric cusp is expected to be obtained by the Soft X-ray Imager(SXI)onboard the Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(SMILE).However,it is challenging to trace the three-dimensional cusp boundary from a two-dimensional X-ray image because the detected X-ray signals will be integrated along the line of sight. In this work,a global magnetohydrodynamic code was used to simulate the X-ray images and photon count images, assuming an interplanetary magnetic field with a pure Bz component. The assumption of an elliptic cusp boundary at a given altitude was used to trace the equatorward and poleward boundaries of the cusp from a simulated X-ray image. The average discrepancy was less than 0.1 RE.To reduce the influence of instrument effects and cosmic X-ray backgrounds, image denoising was considered before applying the method above to SXI photon count images. The cusp boundaries were reasonably reconstructed from the noisy X-ray image.

文摘In this paper,we consider the maximal positive definite solution of the nonlinear matrix equation.By using the idea of Algorithm 2.1 in ZHANG(2013),a new inversion-free method with a stepsize parameter is proposed to obtain the maximal positive definite solution of nonlinear matrix equation X+A^(*)X|^(-α)A=Q with the case 0<α≤1.Based on this method,a new iterative algorithm is developed, and its convergence proof is given. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

文摘This study presents an effective hybrid simulation approach for simulating broadband ground motion in complex near-fault locations. The approach utilizes a deterministic approach based on the spectral element method(SEM),which is used to simulate low-frequency ground motion(f<1 Hz)by incorporating an innovative efficient discontinuous Galerkin(DG)method for grid division to accurately model basin sedimentary layers at reduced costs. It also introduces a comprehensive hybrid source model for high-frequency random scattering and a nonlinear analysis module for basin sedimentary layers.Deterministic outcomes are combined with modified three-dimensional stochastic finite fault method(3D-EXSIM)simulations of high-frequency ground motion(f>1 Hz).A fourth-order Butterworth filter with zero phase shift is employed for time-domain filtering of low-and high-frequency time series at a crossover frequency of 1 Hz,merging the low and high-frequency ground motions into a broadband time series.Taking an Ms 6.8 Luding earthquake,as an example, this hybrid method was used for a rapid and efficient simulation analysis of broadband ground motion in the region. The accuracy and efficiency of this hybrid method were verified through comparisons with actually observed station data and empirical attenuation curves.Deterministic method simulation results revealed the effects of mountainous topography, basin effects, nonlinear effects within the basin’s sedimentary layers, and a coupling interaction between the basin and the mountains. The findings are consistent with similar studies, showing that near-fault sedimentary basins significantly focus and amplify strong ground motion, and the soil’s nonlinear behavior in the basin influences ground motion to varying extents at different distances from the fault. The mountainous topography impacts the basin’s response to ground motion, leading to barrier effects. This research provides a scientific foundation for seismic zoning, urban planning, and seismic design in nearfault mountain basin regions.

文摘This study systematically conducted preparation optimization and performance investigations on Co-modified Ce/TiO_(2) catalysts, with a focus on examining how preparation methods and Co loading regulate the catalyst’s low-temperature denitrification activity. After identifying optimal preparation parameters via condition screening, multiple characterization techniques-including BET,XRD,XPS,H_(2)-TPR and in situ DRIFTS-were employed to deeply analyze the catalyst’s physicochemical properties and reaction mechanism. Results demonstrated that compared to the impregnation and co-precipitation methods, the Ce-Co_(0.025)/TiO_(2)-SG catalyst(prepared by the sol-gel method with a Co/Ti mass ratio of 0.025)exhibited significantly superior denitrification activity:NO conversion remained stably above 95%in the 225−350℃ temperature range, and it displayed high N_(2) selectivity.Characterization analysis revealed that abundant surface oxygen vacancies,a high proportion of Ce^(3+) species, and prominent acidic sites collectively contributed to enhancing its low-temperature denitrification performance. This work provides reference value for the development of highly efficient low-temperature denitrification catalysts.

文摘In clinical diagnosis, conventional X-ray absorption-contrast computed tomography(XACT)technology cannot effectively differentiate diseased tissues from the healthy ones.X-ray phase-contrast CT(XPCT)and dual-energy CT(DECT),emerging X-ray imaging technologies with superior diagnostic capabilities, address this issue through different principles. While both XPCT and DECT have advantages and disadvantages in medical applications, their systematic comparison is lacking.Using GEANT4 and MATLAB,in this study,we established an X-ray phase-contrast imaging(XPCI)model based on single-mask and single-shot edge illumination for fast XPCT imaging, comparing it with DECT on soft-tissue phantom.XACT served as a reference for comparison. The study introduces an evaluation system using statistical measures including absolute error, mean absolute error, structure similarity index measure, peak signal-to-noise ratio, and contrast-to-noise ratio. Results show XPCT images are superior to DECT.The XPCI model can be improved on existing medical CT for widespread medical application.

文摘Van der Waals(vdW)heterostructures have attracted much attention due to their distinctive optical, electrical, and thermal properties, demonstrating promising potential in areas such as photocatalysis, ultrafast photonics, and free electron radiation devices.Particularly, they are promising platforms for studying thermionic emission. It is illustrated that using vdW heterostructure-based thermionic emission can enhance heat transfer in vacuum devices. As a proof of concept, the approach is demonstrated to offer a promising solution for the long-standing overheating issue in X-ray tubes.Specifically,it is shown that the saturated target temperature of a 2000 W X-ray tube can be reduced from around 1200℃ to 490℃.Additionally,it is also demonstrated that by reducing the height of the Schottky barrier formed in the vdW heterostructures, the thermionic cooling performance can be enhanced. The findings pave the way for the development of high-power X-ray tubes.

文摘The exploration of solvent-driven reversible structural transformation in clusters is crucial for advanced stimulus-responsive optical applications and understanding of structure-property relationships.Herein,we report a solvent-driven reversible trans-formation between two copper(I)clusters:[Cu(totp)(CH_(3)CN)_(3)][Cu_(2)I_(3)(totp)(DPPPy)]·CH_(3)CN 1 and Cu_(4)I_(4)(DPPPy)_(2)·0.5CH_(2)Cl_(2)2(totp=tri-o-tolylphosphine,DPPPy=2-[diphenylphosphino]pyridine).X-ray radioluminescence and encryption applications were studied based on structure-dependent photophysical properties difference. The noncovalent interaction-mediated space charge transition between isolated ion units of 1 enables more efficient thermally activated delayed fluorescence by reverse intersystem crossing, accounting for structure-dependent luminescence.Notably, compared to 2,1 exhibits a higher scintillation light yield of 14832 photons MeV^(-1),exceeding that of the commercial scintillator Bi_(4)Ge_(3)O_(12)(8000 photons MeV^(-1)),and a low X-ray detection limit of 22.49 nGy s^(-1),far below the typical diagnostic dose(5.5μGy s^(-1)).Furthermore,scintillating film fabricated by 1 achieves X-ray imaging with a high spatial resolution of 16 lp/mm.The reversible structural interconversion enables solvent-responsive luminescent switches, and thus, the dynamic encryption system capable of multistage decryption was developed. This work not only offers new insight into solvent-regulated clusters transformations but also provides a promising strategy for developing high-performance copper(I)clusters-based scintillators and stimulus-responsive optical devices.

文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to establish a quantitative assessment method for the textural quality of chieh-qua fruit.[Methods]Using two modes of a texture analyzer, namely TPA(texture profile analysis)and puncture, the index data of the fruit were obtained by setting different trigger forces, deformation levels, test speeds,as well as puncture speeds and puncture depths. The data included TPA hardness, adhesiveness, springiness, cohesiveness, gumminess, chewiness, resilience,as well as skin hardness, skin toughness, flesh hardness, fracturability, and compactness.[Results]Different deformation levels had a significant impact on all parameters.Hardness, adhesiveness, gumminess and chewiness showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with the deformation level increasing. When the deformation level was 30%,the adhesiveness, gumminess and chewiness reached their maximum values. When the deformation level was 50%,TPA hardness reached its maximum. When the compression speed was 3 mm/s,the measured values of TPA hardness, adhesiveness, chewiness, and resilience were at their maximums. The skin hardness varied significantly under different trigger forces. When the trigger force was 15 g,the skin hardness reached a maximum value of 944.63 g,and the skin toughness, flesh hardness, fracturability, and compactness also reach their maximum values respectively. When the puncture depth was 12 mm,the flesh hardness and skin toughness reached their maximums of 682.51 g and 1.82 mm,respectively. In the TPA mode, the flesh hardness of chieh-qua showed an extremely significant negative correlation with springiness, cohesiveness, and resilience(P<0.01).The fruit fracturability detected by puncture had an extremely significant positive correlation with compactness(P<0.01).[Conclusions]The evaluation method for measuring chieh-qua texture by combining TPA and the puncture mode could accurately and quantitatively reflect the differences in the flesh texture quality of chieh-qua.The optimal parameters for texture measurement of chieh-qua fruit were determined as a 15 g trigger force with 50%deformation and a 3 mm/s compression speed in TPA mode, and a 15 g trigger force with a 12 mm puncture depth in puncture mode.Puncture speed was found to have no significant effect on the texture indices of chieh-qua.

文摘The testing of large structures is limited by high costs and long cycles, making scaling methods an attractive solution. The outcomes demonstrate that the scaling laws put forth by this study significantly enhance the predictive capabilities for deformations of elastic rings.

文摘Formamidinium lead iodide(FAPbI_(3))perovskite exhibits an impressive X-ray absorption coefficient and a large carrier mobility-lifetime product(μτ),making it as a highly promising candidate for X-ray detection application. However, the presence of larger FA^(+)cation induces to an expansion of the Pb-I octahedral framework, which unfortunately affects both the stability and charge carrier mobility of the corresponding devices. To address this challenge,we develop a novel low-dimensional(HtrzT)PbI_(3) perovskite featuring a conjugated organic cation(1H-1,2,4-Triazole-3-thiol,HtrzT^(+))which matches well with theα-FAPbI_(3) lattices in two-dimensional plane.Benefiting from the matched lattice between(HtrzT)PbI_(3) andα-FAPbI_(3),the anchored lattice enhances the Pb-I bond strength and effectively mitigates the inherent tensile strain of theα-FAPbI_(3) crystal lattice. The X-ray detector based on(HtrzT)PbI_(3)(1.0)/FAPbI_(3) device achieves a remarkable sensitivity up to 1.83×10^(5)μC Gy_(air)^(−1) cm^(−2),along with a low detection limit of 27.6 nGy_(air) s^(−1),attributed to the release of residual stress, and the enhancement in carrier mobility-lifetime product.Furthermore, the detector exhibits outstanding stability under X-ray irradiation with tolerating doses equivalent to nearly 1.17×10^(6) chest imaging doses.

文摘Soft X-ray detectors play a vital role in materials science,high-energy physics and medical imaging.Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6),a lead-free double perovskite, has gained attention for its excellent optoelectronic properties, stability, and nontoxicity. However, its fast crystallization and requirement for high-temperature annealing(>250℃)often lead to inferior film quality, limiting its application in flexible devices. This study introduces an alloying strategy that significantly improves the quality of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)thin films annealed at a reduced temperature of 150℃.Devices based on the alloyed thin films exhibit an ultra-low dark current of 0.32 nA·cm^(-2)and a quantum efficiency of 725%.Furthermore,the first successful integration of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)with a thinfilm transistor backplane demonstrates its superior imaging performance, indicating that Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)is a promising material for next-generation soft X-ray sensors.
