This study analyzed the difference between using a downward breaststroke kick and a horizontal breaststroke kick in a sample of world class elite swimmers.We compared average muscle activity of the gluteus maximus,quadriceps femoris(vastus medialis and rectus femoris),hamstring/long head of the biceps femoris,gastrocnemius medialis,rectus abdominal,and erector spinae when using the downward breaststroke kick technique.We find that when this sample of swimmers utilized the downward breaststroke kick,max speed and velocity per stroke increased,measured by 12,788 EMG samples,where the results are highly correlated to duration of the aerodynamic buoyant force in breaststroke kick technique.The increases in performance observed from measuring the world class elite swimmers is highly correlated to the duration of the kick aerodynamic buoyant force.Among this sample of elite swimmers,the longer a swimmer demonstrates a buoyant force breaststroke kick,the lower the time in a 100 breaststroke. 展开更多

Nowadays, the development of “smart cities” with a high level of quality of life is becoming a prior challenge to be addressed. In this paper, promoting the model shift in railway transportation using tram network towards more reliable, greener and in general more sustainable transportation modes in a potential world class university is proposed. “Smart mobility” in a smart city will significantly contribute to achieving the goal of a university becoming a world class university. In order to have a regular and reliable rail system on campus, we optimize the route among major stations on campus, using shortest path problem Dijkstra algorithm in conjunction with a computer software called LINDO to arrive at the optimal route. In particular, it is observed that the shortest path from the main entrance gate (Canaan land entrance gate) to the Electrical Engineering Department is of distance 0.805 km. 展开更多

This article brings a discussion about using the Cost Deployment methodology for technological innovation in the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) systems at Fiat Group Automobiles Production System (FAPS). It aims to show how this tool acts in the technical pillars of the WCM, and its proper use as an alternative to innovate in production processes, achieving a drastic reduction in wastes and cost optimization during specific activities in production systems. The Cost Deployment builds a distinctive transversal method of WCM which helps to promote and provide extremely effectiveness in the activation of more specific methods that have been tried successfully in the Japanese manufacturing improvements. It also allows to link the operational performances, usually measured with indicators such as efficiency, providing number of defects, hours of desaturation. The used methodology was based on a literature review about the proposed topic. It ends up finding that the Cost Deployment tool is one of the most sophisticated technological innovations existing for the production systems of the World Class Manufacturing. 展开更多

In this paper, transportation model is utilized to decide an ideal answer for the transportation issue in a run of the mill world class university utilizing Covenant University as a contextual analysis. Covenant University is a potential world class University. The quick development of Covenant University Campus over the most recent fourteen years affects its transportation framework. This paper particularly takes a gander at streamlining the time spent by the students moving from their lodgings to lecture rooms. Google guide was utilized to figure the separation and time between every cause and every goal. North-west corner technique, Least Cost strategy and Vogel’s estimation technique were utilized to decide the underlying fundamental plausible arrangement (initial feasible solution) and MODI strategy was utilized to locate the ideal arrangement (optimal solution). 一流学科建设对国际学术话语权的影响

高等教育和学术研究高质量发展是实现科技自立自强的重要途径。我国2017年推出“双一流”相关政策,旨在通过提升高校和学科发展质量,增强我国在全球科学研究中的学术话语权。基于世界一流学科建设政策这一准自然实验,采用双重差分模型... 高等教育和学术研究高质量发展是实现科技自立自强的重要途径。我国2017年推出“双一流”相关政策,旨在通过提升高校和学科发展质量,增强我国在全球科学研究中的学术话语权。基于世界一流学科建设政策这一准自然实验,采用双重差分模型研究该政策对学科国际学术话语权的影响,结果发现:一流学科建设政策有效增强了学科的国际学术话语权,并且这种作用具有长期稳定性。地区的异质性结果表明,一流学科建设政策对西部地区学科的国际学术话语权的提升最为显著,但对东部地区的影响相对较弱。此外,该政策对理工类学科的正向影响较为显著,而在人文社科领域的作用并不显著。这些为“双一流”政策的实施与调整提供了重要的经验证据。 展开更多

从存量、质量、增量三个维度出发,兼顾绝对性和相对性特征,构建世界一流大学集群指数评价指标体系,并基于31个高等教育大国在三大世界大学排行榜中的表现数据,采用熵权法进行指标权重测算。研究发现,以美国、英国为代表的传统高等教育... 从存量、质量、增量三个维度出发,兼顾绝对性和相对性特征,构建世界一流大学集群指数评价指标体系,并基于31个高等教育大国在三大世界大学排行榜中的表现数据,采用熵权法进行指标权重测算。研究发现,以美国、英国为代表的传统高等教育强国在世界一流大学建设格局中占据主导地位,但其领先优势正呈现逐步缩减的趋势;以中国为首的高等教育后发国家在世界一流大学建设格局中虽仍处于相对弱势地位,但正展现出强劲的上升势头与发展潜力;美国在绝对性指标上遥遥领先,英国在相对性指标上表现卓越,中国和澳大利亚分别在绝对增量和相对增量指标上表现突出;各国世界一流大学建设呈现领先型、追赶型、停滞型和滞后型四种类型。基于此,我国应稳步推进“双一流”建设高校扩容工作,适度扩大“双一流”建设范围;在保持高等教育整体发展的同时,集中优势力量打造一批具备全球竞争力的顶尖一流大学;推动高校集群式发展,构建多层次、开放协同的一流大学建设联盟。 展开更多

为完善港口综合评价体系,突破“唯吞吐量论”单一评价模式,对世界一流港口综合评价指标体系展开研究。首先,本研究采用“主题-目标-路径-服务”分析框架对世界一流港口内涵特征进行剖析,提出以加权吞吐量、船舶服务效率、连通度、经济... 为完善港口综合评价体系,突破“唯吞吐量论”单一评价模式,对世界一流港口综合评价指标体系展开研究。首先,本研究采用“主题-目标-路径-服务”分析框架对世界一流港口内涵特征进行剖析,提出以加权吞吐量、船舶服务效率、连通度、经济贡献、绿色安全水平等为核心的综合评价指标体系。然后,采用层次分析法确定各项指标权重,构建世界一流港口的模糊综合评价模型,并从全球选取34个样本港口进行综合评价,结果显示:新加坡港、上海港综合得分排名前两位,处于世界领先方阵;鹿特丹港、宁波舟山港、釜山港、青岛港等九个港口综合得分都超过80分,位居世界前列方阵。最后,从建立评价标准、加强船舶自动识别系统(AIS)应用等方面提出开展世界一流港口综合评价工作的建议。 展开更多

一国拥有世界一流大学的数量与质量,是该国高等教育国际话语权强弱的显著标志。无论是传统高等教育发达国家,还是新兴高等教育后发国家,都纷纷谋划和建设世界一流大学,建设世界一流大学俨然已成国际潮流。在此情形之下,研判与把握世界... 一国拥有世界一流大学的数量与质量,是该国高等教育国际话语权强弱的显著标志。无论是传统高等教育发达国家,还是新兴高等教育后发国家,都纷纷谋划和建设世界一流大学,建设世界一流大学俨然已成国际潮流。在此情形之下,研判与把握世界一流大学建设的国际格局,既是总结与分析世界一流大学建设经验与实践成效的迫切需要,也是加快推进中国特色世界一流大学建设的时代要求。本研究以2003-2023年ARWU的排名数据为基本依据,采用简单赋值法和中位数处理法,并引入赫芬达尔-赫希曼指数,对世界一流大学建设的国际格局进行刻画与描绘。研究发现:2003年以来,ARWU排行榜前500名大学的国际分布总体趋向分散;中国建设世界一流大学的成效显著,上升势头迅猛;与美国相比中国依然存在较大差距,尤其缺乏世界顶尖大学,而且中国建设世界一流大学的战略梯队尚未形成。在新时代背景下,加快推进中国特色世界一流大学建设,要坚守世界一流大学建设的初心使命、增强世界一流大学建设的战略定力、筑牢世界一流大学建设的自信根基以及激发世界一流大学建设的基层活力。 展开更多
