Attention is paid both to the academic research of social work and to opportunities for developing a knowledge-producing social work practice. Both of these are seen as essential elements of a research-based profession. On the one hand, the academic research is necessary for development of social work as a research-based professional system, and on the other hand, a knowledge-producing practice, conducted by research-oriented practitioners, can only be realized within such a system. Historically, social work has been partly developed as a knowledge-applying instead of a knowledge-producing profession, although the central founding pioneers emphasized the importance of an own-knowledge basis and theory formation, as well as the idea of knowledge-producing practice based on a corresponding professional identity. The future of social work as a professional system in modern society may depend decisively on how it develops a research-based professional identity, not only in the sense of academic research but also through practitioners with research orientation. These are practitioners who would be capable of research-based working in terms of creative knowledge production, thus of developing social work as a credible research-based profession. This can be created only through education in which the development of necessary professional skills is linked to advanced academic meta-skills. There are good reasons to suspect that a three-year education is too short for this.展开更多

文摘Working memory is a core cognitive function that supports goal-directed behavior and complex thought. We developed a spatial working memory and attention test on paired symbols(SWAPS)which has been proved to be a useful and valid tool for spatial working memory and attention studies in the fields of cognitive psychology, education, and psychiatry. The repeated administration of working memory capacity tests is common in clinical and research settings.Studies suggest that repeated cognitive tests may improve the performance scores also known as retest effects. The systematic investigation of retest effects in SWAPS is critical for interpreting scientific results, but it is still not fully developed. To address this,we recruited 77 college students aged 18–21 years and used SWAPS comprising 72 trials with different memory loads, learning time, and delay span.We repeated the test once a week for five weeks to investigate the retest effects of SWAPS.There were significant retest effects in the first two tests:the accuracy of the SWAPS tests significantly increased, and then stabilized. These findings provide useful information for researchers to appropriately use or interpret the repeated working memory tests.Further experiments are still needed to clarify the factors that mediate the retest effects, and find out the cognitive mechanism that influences the retest effects.
文摘BACKGROUND Enhancing work engagement among physical education(PE)teachers is crucial for building a strong sports nation and fostering educational advancement. However,PE teachers frequently experience conflicts between work and family roles, significantly impacting their professional involvement. The concept of work-family facilitation, highlighting mutual facilitation between work and family domains, has considerable theoretical and practical significance but remains underexplored in this context. This study integrates ecosystem theory, spillover theory, social exchange theory, and two-factor theory to systematically explore the mechanism through which work-family facilitation influences work engagement.Specifically,it investigates the roles of psychological resilience and job satisfaction in this relationship, providing a novel theoretical perspective and empirical evidence.AIM To systematically explore the mechanism through which work-family facilitation influences work engagement among PE teachers.METHODS A cross-sectional questionnaire survey was conducted among 436 PE teachers.Structural equation modeling was used to examine relationships among variables and assess mediating effects.RESULTS Work-family facilitation positively correlated with psychological resilience, job satisfaction, and work engagement(r=0.323-0.705,P<0.001).Psychological resilience and job satisfaction fully mediated the relationship between work-family facilitation and work engagement, demonstrating a significant chain mediation effect.CONCLUSION This study confirms that promoting work-family facilitation enhances psychological resilience and job satisfaction, thereby significantly boosting work engagement among PE teachers. These findings underline the importance of targeted interventions to enhance work-family resources, psychological resilience, and job satisfaction, contributing to theoretical advancements and practical implications for educational management.
文摘Background:Shift-based occupations have been consistently linked to adverse psychological outcomes;however, limited research has examined how work schedule type and physical activity are jointly associated with mental health and job stress in public transportation employees,a population frequently exposed to irregular hours and safety-critical responsibilities. This study investigated the associations between work schedule type and physical activity with mental health indicators and job stress among Seoul Metro employees. Methods:A cross-sectional survey was administered to 298 full-time male employees of Seoul Metro.Participants were categorized by work schedule(shift vs.regular)and physical activity level(regular, irregular, none)following American College of Sports Medicine(ACSM)guidelines.Mental health(sleep disturbance, depression, anxiety, loneliness)was assessed using validated binary indicators, and job stress was measured with the Korean Occupational Stress Scale–Short Form(KOSS-SF).Group differences were analyzed using chi-square tests,t-tests,and one-way ANOVA with effect sizes, and binary logistic and multiple regression analyses were conducted to identify predictors. Results:Shift workers reported significantly higher sleep disturbance and anxiety compared to regular daytime workers(p<0.05).Employees who participated in regular physical activity had lower odds of sleep disturbance and depression(p<0.05)and showed lower job stress scores compared with inactive workers.Work schedule type and physical activity were independently associated with mental health and job stress among transit employees. Conclusion:These findings underscore the dual influence of work schedule and physical activity on the psychological and occupational well-being of public transit employees.Promoting regular physical activity may buffer occupational stress among employees engaged in shift-based work.Workplace interventions that support physical activity participation and improve shift planning may enhance employee well-being.

文摘As smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 continue to evolve, fault diagnosis of mechanical equipment has become crucial for ensuring production safety and optimizing equipment utilization. To address the challenge of cross-domain adaptation in intelligent diagnostic models under varying operational conditions, this paper introduces the CNN-1D-KAN model, which combines a 1D Convolutional Neural Network(1D-CNN)with a Kolmogorov–Arnold Network(KAN).The novelty of this approach lies in replacing the traditional 1D-CNN’s final fully connected layer with a KANLinear layer, leveraging KAN’s advanced nonlinear processing and function approximation capabilities while maintaining the simplicity of linear transformations.Experimental results on the CWRU dataset demonstrate that, under stable load conditions, the CNN-1D-KAN model achieves high accuracy, averaging 96.67%.Furthermore,the model exhibits strong transfer generalization and robustness across varying load conditions, sustaining an average accuracy of 90.21%.When compared to traditional neural networks(e.g.,1D-CNN and Multi-Layer Perceptron)and other domain adaptation models(e.g.,KAN Convolutions and KAN),the CNN-1D-KAN consistently outperforms in both accuracy and F1 scores across diverse load scenarios.Particularly in handling complex cross-domain data,it excels in diagnostic performance. This study provides an effective solution for cross-domain fault diagnosis in Industrial Internet systems, offering a theoretical foundation to enhance the reliability and stability of intelligent manufacturing processes, thus supporting the future advancement of industrial IoT applications.
文摘The theme of the foregoing is evolution in the management of telework. In addition, seeking the answer to the question: what is working and how to change the model of personnel management in telework? To find the answers to these questions, the author conducted a survey of managers of this type. In addition, research shows that management system has evolved significantly. And although still requirement changes, the activities are quite flexible, and adapted to the staff.

文摘The popularity of flexible working hours around the world has slowed down the historical trend of reducing working hours. It even shows signs of regression.Whether and how to guide the cur-rent society with flexible working hours to return to the historical track of reducing working hours, improve the quality of working hours, and promote a smooth transition from the era of traditional standard work-ing hours to the era of flexible working hours has become a question related to the legal regulation of working hours in the new era.In this regard, although Western countries have proposed new regulatory concepts and carried out legislative practices with distinctive charac-teristics,the limitations of legal regulation capabilities have prevented them from proposing a package of institutional solutions. The advan-tage of China in the ability of legal regulation of working hours has been gradually formed in the legislation on working hours unnder the leadership of the CPC in the past century. It enables China to break through the limitations of the West and propose a Chinese approach to answer the question of the legal regulation of working hours in the new era from three aspects:limiting the extension of working hours, improving the quality of flexible working hours, and optimizing the funnctions of the multi-funnctional regulatory system for working hours.
文摘The concept of research-based social work is introduced and discussed from the point of view of preconditions for its realization. There are good reasons to suspect that a three-year education is too short for this.

文摘Objectives:Teachers are facing unprecedented new challenges leading them to face an increasing number of tasks that are not part of their job,as well as having to cope with the additional skills acquisition that comes with non-traditional forms of teaching and learning, and increased work pressure leading to an increase in the rate of teachers leaving the profession. Therefore, this study aims to explore the mechanism of the career calling on job burnout through career adaptability and work engagement. Methods:This study conducted a cross-sectional survey of 465 primary and secondary school teachers(PSST)in China's Mainland from the perspective of work adjustment and used structural equation modeling(SEM)to examine the mediating roles of career adaptability and work engagement in the relationship between teachers’career calling and job burnout. Results:The results show that PSSTs are above average in career calling, career adaptability, and work engagement, while job burnout is below average.A significant positive or negative correlation exists between career calling, career adaptability, work engagement, and job burnout. The result of path analysis indicates that career adaptability and work engagement exert an indirect influence on the job burnout of PSST through three paths:namely, the independent intermediary role of career adaptability(EV=−0.144),the independent intermediary role of work engagement(EV=0.172)and the chain intermediary role of the two(EV=0.176).Conclusion:This study emphasizes the importance of career adaptability and work engagement in teacher development in regulating career calling and job burnout. Therefore,on the one hand,we think that if managers want to reduce teachers’job burnout, they need to pay more attention to teachers’career adaptability and work engagement, rather than relying solely on teachers’career calling. On the other hand,it is to remind teachers not to rely on their adjustment to adapt to the work, but also to need outside help as much as possible.
