Effect of adjuvant therapy of Weisu Granule on Cyclooxygenase-2,E-cadherin, procalcitonin and gastrin in patients with chronic gastritis

Objective: To observe the effects of Weisu Granule combined with triple therapy (esomeprazole, tinidazole and amoxicillin) on gastric mucosal cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and cadherin E (E-cadherin), serum procalcitonin (PCT) and gastrin in patients with chronic gastritis. Methods: A total of 90 patients with chronic gastritis were randomly divided into control group and observation group (n=45) according to the lottery method. Both groups were treated with conventional therapy. On this basis, the control group was treated with triple therapy. The observation group was treated with triple therapy combined with Wei Su granule. The levels of COX-2, E-cadherin, procalcitonin and gastrin in peripheral blood were measured before and after treatment in all subjects. Result: There was no significant difference in the levels of gastric mucosal COX-2 and E-cadherin between the two groups before treatment. After treatment, the levels of COX-2 and E-cadherin in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment. And the observation group was lower than the control group after treatment. There was no significant difference in serum PCT and gastrin levels between the two groups before treatment. After treatment, the levels of PCT and gastrin in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment. And the observation group was lower than the control group after treatment. Conclusion: Wei Su granule combined with triple therapy in the treatment of chronic gastritis, can effectively reduce the levels of COX-2, E-cadherin, PCT and gastrin, relieve the gastric mucosal injury and symptoms, which is a clinically effective treatment. 展开更多

When beetle Aulacophora femoralis chinensis Weise fed on cucumber seedlings, it first chewed a circular trench on their leaves and then nibbled the leaf tissues iso-lated by the trench, but when it was fed with the detached fresh cotyledons of cucumber, such an interesting trenching behavior did not occur, which indicated that the feeding be-havior of the beetle was obviously correlated with the chemical response of the cucumber to the herbivory. Within 60 min after feeding, the level of cucurbitacin C in fed coty-ledons of the cucumber seedling increased 10 fold or more. Cucurbitacin I was also detected 15 min after feeding, which reached 75 mg/g within 60 min. The high levels of cucurbi-tacins C and Ⅰ in fed cotyledons could be maintained for at least 24 h. A. femoralis chinensis was strongly stimulated to take food by cucurbitacin C at a concentration between 10 and 250 mg/g, and the feeding deterrent activity was observed at >250 mg/g, while the feeding deterrent threshold of A. femoralis chinensis to cucurbitacin I was 50 mg/g. The mix-ture of cucurbitacins C and Ⅰ had a much stronger feeding deterrent activity than single cucurbitacin I. The results suggested that cucumber could elicit chemical response to the beetle herbivory, its leaf being induced to produce more kinds of cucurbitacins and make them reach the levels of feeding deterrent activity on the beetle, while the trenching behavior of A. femoralis chinensis was its strategy to answer the chemical response of cucumber. The trenching behavior of the beetle not only stopped the cucurbitacins biosynthesis in cucumber leaf tissues, but also blocked the translocation of cucurbitacins to the feeding sites. The trenching behavior of the beetle and the chemical response of host cucumber were the mutual adaptive strategies for protecting the host plant and the beetle themselves. 展开更多

Characteristics and Formation Analysis of Earth Fissure in Anren Area in Wei River Basin,China

Since the 1950's,212 earth fissures have been discovered in the Wei River Basin.During a field survey in 2016,an additional 48 earth fissures were discovered in Anren area,northeast of the Wei River Basin.The characteristics and formation mechanisms of these fissures were studied through field investigations,measurements,trench excavation,and drilling.On-site investigations indicated that these earth fissures were distributed along a fault-controlled geomorphic boundary.Fissures trended at 60°-80°NE and were divided into five groups.Trenches revealed multiple secondary fissures,exposing severe soil ruptures in the shallow earth surfaces.Drilling profiles revealed that earth fissures dislocated several strata,and resembled synsedimentary faults.Seismic reflection profiles revealed buried faults beneath the earth fissures.The Anren area fissures formed in the following three stages:regional extension that initially generated multiple buried faults;seismic activity rupturing multiple strata,resulting in multiple buried fractures;and finally,erosion processes that propagated the buried fractures to the surface,forming the current earth fissures. 展开更多

通过对长吻(Leiocasislongirostris)、南方大口鲶(Silurusmeridionalis)胃、肠道所作大体解剖观察对比、粘膜扫描电镜观察、蛋白酶和淀粉酶活力测定等的研究结果表明,南方大口鲶的胃壁... 通过对长吻(Leiocasislongirostris)、南方大口鲶(Silurusmeridionalis)胃、肠道所作大体解剖观察对比、粘膜扫描电镜观察、蛋白酶和淀粉酶活力测定等的研究结果表明,南方大口鲶的胃壁和胃粘膜皱褶非常发达,其伸缩能力远强于长吻。但长吻的胃、肠粘膜的分泌功能较南方大口鲶强,其蛋白酶和淀粉酶活力强于相近体重的南方大口鲶。南方大口鲶的发达的胃壁作用可能在于有较强的伸张能力以便一次性地食贮较多或较大个体食物,并在胃内进行初步消化。总体评价,长吻一次性的摄食能力不如南方大口鲶,但对同种食物的消化能力强于相近或相同体重的南方大口鲶。南方大口鲶胃、肠道消化生理特点适于一次捕食较大个体食物,具间歇性摄食的消化生理特点。而长吻则适于以较高摄食频率和对食物较强的消化利用率以适应营养的需要。 展开更多
