In the central nervous system(CNS), the mTOR pathway regulates diverse aspects of neural development and function. Genetic mutations within the m TOR pathway lead to severe neurodevelopmental disorders, collectively known as “mTORopathies”(Crino, 2020). The development of skeletal muscle are complicated processes involving genes responsible for proper muscle morphology,contractility,cell proliferation,differentiation,interactions,migration,and death.The three-dimensi...The development of skeletal muscle are complicated processes involving genes responsible for proper muscle morphology,contractility,cell proliferation,differentiation,interactions,migration,and death.The three-dimensional chromatin architecture of skeletal muscle development has not been studied intensively although dynamic transcriptional regulation during differentiation of muscle cells is one of the most deeply studied processes.The RNA-seq was used to analyze the transcriptome pattern during chicken muscle development across 12 stages.Hi-C was used to build chromatin architectures during four representative stages.Ch IP-seq was conducted to identify enhancers and promoters in these four stages,which are occupied by histone H3K27ac and H3K4me3 peaks.Results show that large-scale genome architecture changes are mostly unidirectional,and coupled by complex on/off dynamic patterns of gene expression.Specifically,we observed 258.30 Mb of the genome undergoing A/B compartment switching.Notable alterations(316.57 Mb)of interaction frequencies within TADs were observed.Substantial aging-associated genes exhibited ascending connectivity with the compartment transition from repressive to active status during muscle development.Some muscle-related gene promoters that interacted with active enhancers during development,and some myopathy/aging-associated genes that were activated in aging muscle were founded.These results provide key insights into skeletal muscle development in vivo,and offer a valuable resource that allows in-depth functional characterization of candidate genes.展开更多

In the evolving global economy,China’s Outward Foreign Direct Investment(OFDI)holds increasing significance,specially within the context of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI).Despite earlier studies have acknowledged ...In the evolving global economy,China’s Outward Foreign Direct Investment(OFDI)holds increasing significance,specially within the context of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI).Despite earlier studies have acknowledged the role of governance quality in at-tracting Chinese OFDI,their explanatory capacity regarding human development has not received sufficient attention.This study ad-dresses this gap,investigating the relationship between Chinese OFDI and human development,emphasizing the governance quality’s moderating role.Using data from 122 BRI countries from 2004 to 2021,we employed the Panel Corrected Standard Error model through Prais-Winsten regression,complimented by robustness check via the Spatial Durbin Model.Our analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between Chinese OFDI and human development in BRI countries,indicating that Chinese investments act as cata-lysts for improved well-being.More importantly,governance quality plays a vital role in shaping this relationship,revealing that effect-ive governance enhanced the human development outcomes of OFDI.Post-hoc analysis of governance indicators,both as a composite index and individual dimensions,supported this finding.Regional heterogeneity analysis further showed that Chinese OFDI has stronger effects on Human Development Index(HDI)in Asia and Africa compared to Europe,Latin America,and Oceania.However,the moder-ating effect of governance quality seemed more prominent in Oceania and Latin America,indicating its role in fostering the benefits of Chinese investments in these regions.These findings hold implications for academia and policy,emphasizing the need for transparent,accountable,and effective governance to drive sustainable and inclusive human development within the BRI framework.展开更多
Atmospheric carbon dioxide(CO_(2))levels are escalating at an unprecedented rate,leading to the phenomenon of ocean acidification(OA).Parental exposure to acidification has the potential to enhance offspring resilienc...Atmospheric carbon dioxide(CO_(2))levels are escalating at an unprecedented rate,leading to the phenomenon of ocean acidification(OA).Parental exposure to acidification has the potential to enhance offspring resilience through cross-generation plasticity.In this study,we analyzed larval growth and transcriptomic profiles in the Pacific oyster,Crassostrea gigas,a species of significant ecological relevance,under both control and elevated CO_(2)conditions experienced by their parental generation.Our findings indicate that the oyster populations exposed to OA exhibited a higher incidence of abnormalities during the D-shaped larval stage,followed by accelerated growth at the eyed stage.Through a comparative transcriptomic investigation of eyed larvae(25 d after fertilization),we observed that parental exposure to OA substantially influenced the gene expression in the offspring.Genes associated with lipid catabolism and shell formation were notably upregulated in oysters with parental OA exposure,potentially playing a role in cross-generational conditioning and conferring resilience to OA stressors.These results underscore the profound impact of OA on oyster larval development via cross-generational mechanisms and shed light on the molecular underpinnings of cross-generation plasticity.展开更多
This study aims to promote the optimization and upgrading of the economic structure in rural areas of China by focusing on the coupling coordination mechanism between digital economy–agriculture integration and rural...This study aims to promote the optimization and upgrading of the economic structure in rural areas of China by focusing on the coupling coordination mechanism between digital economy–agriculture integration and rural revitalization.By examining panel data from 30 Chinese provinces,autonomous regions,and municipalities between 2011 and 2022,the research constructs a weight-based evaluation system that integrates subjective and objective methods and a coupling coordination model to reveal its dynamic evolution patterns.Key findings indicate that digital economy–agriculture integration and rural revitalization achieve cross-coupling through critical activities.The impact of digital-agriculture integration on advancing rural revitalization lags by 2–3 years.Although the coupling development degree between the two systems continues to improve,it remains at the stage of primary coordination.Regional disparities are significant,showing a gradient pattern of“high degree of coupling development in the east and low degree of coupling development in the west.”展开更多

Fault-tolerant systems are crucial for ensuring the reliability and availability of missioncritical applications in modern computing environments.The dynamic heterogeneous redundancy(DHR)architecture is a key componen...Fault-tolerant systems are crucial for ensuring the reliability and availability of missioncritical applications in modern computing environments.The dynamic heterogeneous redundancy(DHR)architecture is a key component in constructing fault-tolerant systems,particularly in areas such as national security,power networks,and banking private networks.DHR is transforming the cyberspace security industry chain by accommodating a broader range of applications and increasingly capturing the market.However,the development of applications for DHR architecture encounters challenges due to the complexities of handling heterogeneity,managing dynamism,and maintaining usability.To address these issues,we introduce MimicStudio,a comprehensive development framework with a standardized workflow.To our knowledge,MimicStudio is the first effective solution for DHR software development.We present a detailed implementation of MimicStudio with a heterogeneous microcontroller unit project,encompassing three CPUs with different instruction set architectures.The paper evaluates MimicStudio’s support for essential features,including zero-copy synchronization,parallelized build,multi-core collaborative debugging,and dynamic adjustment of the software system’s structure.Our results show that MimicStudio provides a flexible and efficient solution for supporting the dynamic,heterogeneous,and redundant features of fault-tolerant systems.展开更多

文摘In the evolving global economy,China’s Outward Foreign Direct Investment(OFDI)holds increasing significance,specially within the context of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI).Despite earlier studies have acknowledged the role of governance quality in at-tracting Chinese OFDI,their explanatory capacity regarding human development has not received sufficient attention.This study ad-dresses this gap,investigating the relationship between Chinese OFDI and human development,emphasizing the governance quality’s moderating role.Using data from 122 BRI countries from 2004 to 2021,we employed the Panel Corrected Standard Error model through Prais-Winsten regression,complimented by robustness check via the Spatial Durbin Model.Our analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between Chinese OFDI and human development in BRI countries,indicating that Chinese investments act as cata-lysts for improved well-being.More importantly,governance quality plays a vital role in shaping this relationship,revealing that effect-ive governance enhanced the human development outcomes of OFDI.Post-hoc analysis of governance indicators,both as a composite index and individual dimensions,supported this finding.Regional heterogeneity analysis further showed that Chinese OFDI has stronger effects on Human Development Index(HDI)in Asia and Africa compared to Europe,Latin America,and Oceania.However,the moder-ating effect of governance quality seemed more prominent in Oceania and Latin America,indicating its role in fostering the benefits of Chinese investments in these regions.These findings hold implications for academia and policy,emphasizing the need for transparent,accountable,and effective governance to drive sustainable and inclusive human development within the BRI framework.

文摘Atmospheric carbon dioxide(CO_(2))levels are escalating at an unprecedented rate,leading to the phenomenon of ocean acidification(OA).Parental exposure to acidification has the potential to enhance offspring resilience through cross-generation plasticity.In this study,we analyzed larval growth and transcriptomic profiles in the Pacific oyster,Crassostrea gigas,a species of significant ecological relevance,under both control and elevated CO_(2)conditions experienced by their parental generation.Our findings indicate that the oyster populations exposed to OA exhibited a higher incidence of abnormalities during the D-shaped larval stage,followed by accelerated growth at the eyed stage.Through a comparative transcriptomic investigation of eyed larvae(25 d after fertilization),we observed that parental exposure to OA substantially influenced the gene expression in the offspring.Genes associated with lipid catabolism and shell formation were notably upregulated in oysters with parental OA exposure,potentially playing a role in cross-generational conditioning and conferring resilience to OA stressors.These results underscore the profound impact of OA on oyster larval development via cross-generational mechanisms and shed light on the molecular underpinnings of cross-generation plasticity.

文摘This study aims to promote the optimization and upgrading of the economic structure in rural areas of China by focusing on the coupling coordination mechanism between digital economy–agriculture integration and rural revitalization.By examining panel data from 30 Chinese provinces,autonomous regions,and municipalities between 2011 and 2022,the research constructs a weight-based evaluation system that integrates subjective and objective methods and a coupling coordination model to reveal its dynamic evolution patterns.Key findings indicate that digital economy–agriculture integration and rural revitalization achieve cross-coupling through critical activities.The impact of digital-agriculture integration on advancing rural revitalization lags by 2–3 years.Although the coupling development degree between the two systems continues to improve,it remains at the stage of primary coordination.Regional disparities are significant,showing a gradient pattern of“high degree of coupling development in the east and low degree of coupling development in the west.”

文摘Fault-tolerant systems are crucial for ensuring the reliability and availability of missioncritical applications in modern computing environments.The dynamic heterogeneous redundancy(DHR)architecture is a key component in constructing fault-tolerant systems,particularly in areas such as national security,power networks,and banking private networks.DHR is transforming the cyberspace security industry chain by accommodating a broader range of applications and increasingly capturing the market.However,the development of applications for DHR architecture encounters challenges due to the complexities of handling heterogeneity,managing dynamism,and maintaining usability.To address these issues,we introduce MimicStudio,a comprehensive development framework with a standardized workflow.To our knowledge,MimicStudio is the first effective solution for DHR software development.We present a detailed implementation of MimicStudio with a heterogeneous microcontroller unit project,encompassing three CPUs with different instruction set architectures.The paper evaluates MimicStudio’s support for essential features,including zero-copy synchronization,parallelized build,multi-core collaborative debugging,and dynamic adjustment of the software system’s structure.Our results show that MimicStudio provides a flexible and efficient solution for supporting the dynamic,heterogeneous,and redundant features of fault-tolerant systems.

文摘This study examines the methods to plan the development of offshore oilfields over the years,which are used to support the decision-making on the development of offshore oilfields.About 100 papers are analysed and categorised into different groups of main early-stage decisions.The present study stands in contrast to the contributions of the operations research and system engineering review articles,on the one hand,and the petroleum engineering review articles,on the other.This is because it does not focus on one methodological approach,nor does it limit the literature analysis by offshore oilfield characteristics.Consequently,the present analysis may offer valuable insights,for instance,by identifying environmental planning decisions as a recent yet highly significant concern that is currently being imposed on decision-making process.Thus,it is evident that the incorporation of safety criteria within the technical-economic decision-making process for the design of production systems would be a crucial requirement at development phase.
