Bulk metallic glass rings have the potential applications as annular gasket and active solder in special fields. The bulk metallic glass ring of ZГ41.2Ti13.8Cu12.5Ni10.0Be22.5 with the outer diameter, the inner diameter, and the thickness of 38, 36, and 5 mm, respectively, was prepared by using a special shaped quartz tube water quenching method. The mechanical properties along the whole cross section were investigated by a nanoindentation method, and no evident variation of the Young's modulus and hardness was found, further indicating the single amorphous structure. Amorphous ring and tube-shape parts with different dimensions can be produced by this method. 展开更多

The sample was prepared by heating the we-decomposed precursor mixtures sealed in vacuum quartz-tube, followed by water quenching at the sintering temperature. The results indicate that using the "fast quenching" treatment can succeed in controlling overgrowth of the grain size of final product and improving its utilization ratio of active material. The sample synthesized by this technique has the high reversible discharge specific capacity and good cyclic electrochemical performance. 展开更多

High-purity aluminum titanate was synthesized via a water quenching method with waste-residue in the aluminum factory and industrial TiO2 as the main raw materials, which belongs to the comprehensive utilization of solid wastes. Compared with the conventional method, it can reduce synthesis temperature, effectively inhibit decomposition and raise the content of AT; the addition of tiny silicon powder can improve the sintering and optimize the properties of AT. The crystalline phase structure and microstructure of each sample were characterized with XRD and SEM methods; the content of each crystalline phase in each sample was confirmed with Rietveld Quantification method; the properties of each sample were also tested. The experimental results showed that No. 4 is the optimum specimen, with the corresponding mass ratio of Al2O3/TiO2 to be 1.27 and the content of AT of 97.2 wt%. The addition of optimum tiny silicon powder is confirmed to be 8wt%; its corresponding bulk density is 2.63 g/cm^3, bending strength is 46.34 MPa, and the retention of one thermal vibration bending strength is 71.5%. 展开更多

A technique of combination of vacuum firing and water quenching was applied to the synthesis of LiFePO4 powder. The sample was prepared by heating the pre-decomposed precursor mixtures sealed in vacuum quartz-tube, followed by water quenching at the sintering temperature. The synthetic conditions were optimized by orthogonal experiment. The results indicate that the fast quenching treatment can avoid the overgrowth of single crystal and improve its availability ratio of active material. The sintering temperature has the greatest effect on the electrochemical performance of sample. Next is the molar ratio of Li to Fe and the sintering time, respectively. The samples prepared in the optimized technical condition has the highest reversible discharge specific capacity of 149.8 mA·h/g. 展开更多

Cold-rolled advanced high-strength steel sheets have become the material of choice for the automotive industry because of their unique attributes of high strength and balanced mechanical properties.High-hydrogen gas jet cooling and water quenching are the most commonly used ultrafast cooling technologies for producing martensite-containing high-strength steel sheets.The water quenching technology ensures the fastest industrial cooling rate of 1 000 K/s;therefore,it has the highest potential with respect to saving alloys.In this study,the water quenching of a C-Mn-containing steel sheet is simulated during continuous annealing to investigate the effect of water quenching and tempering parameters on its mechanical properties.The results reveal that at low quenching temperatures,the strength of the steel sheet decreases as the soaking temperature increases.However,at high quenching temperatures,a high soaking temperature corresponds to increased strength after quenching,regardless of whether the material was austenitized in the single austenite zone or the inter-critical zone.Therefore,a high quenching temperature always results in a high strength and a high yield ratio after quenching.Low-temperature overaging(tempering) considerably influences the yield strength and yield ratio,and the extent of this influence is correlated with the soaking temperature. 展开更多

The preparation of granulated adsorption material of water-quenched slag/rectorite composite and the treatment of Cu ( Ⅱ )-containing copper smelter wastewater with the adsorption material were studied. The experimental results showed that under the conditions with the mass ratio of water-quenched slag to rectorite of 1:1, 10% additive of industrial starch (IS), and 50% water, and a calcination temperature of 400 ℃, the granulated adsorption material prepared had a density of 1.06 kg/m^3, a porosity of 62.29%, water absorption rate of 58.82%, and compressive strength of 2.22 MPa. The efficiency of wastewater treatment was the best, whereas the rate of spallation loss was low. Under the conditions of natural pH, with the addition of the granulated adsorption material of 0.05 g/mL, a reaction time of 40 minutes, and temperature of 25 ℃, the efficiency of the granulated adsorption material for the removal of Cu ( Ⅱ ) ions from the copper smelter wastewater attained 98.2%, and the quality indexes of the wastewater after treatment conformed with the first level of integrated wastewater discharge standard (GB8978-1996). The reclamation of the used granulated adsorption material was carried out by de-sorption of the Cu ( Ⅱ) ions from the surface with 1 mol/L sodium chloride solution. The de-sorption rate was 96.4%, and the adsorption material can be reused many times to treat copper smelter wastewater. 展开更多

A novel luminescent coordination compound Eu(TTA)3(DEDAF)(1, TTA = 1,1,1-trifluoro-3-(2-thenoyl)acetone, DEDAF = 9,9-diethyl-4,5-diazafluoren) has been synthesized and fully characterized by infrared spectrum, elemental analysis, UV-vis spectrum, etc. X-ray single-crystal diffraction analysis reveals that compound 1 shows a mononuclear structure with the europium atom in coordinating to one DAF and three TTA ligands. The mononuclear structure units are assembled into a 3-D polymer by hydrogen bonds and π-π interactions. Photoluminescent property of 1 was investigated in detail at room temperature. Complex 1 emits strong red luminescence. However, it could be quenched even by small amount of water. The fluorescence intensity at 614 nm decreases linearly with the water content increasing(vol% in acetonitrile) in the range of 0.025~0.2% under 278 nm excitation. In this paper, a running cost is cheap from the thing used for harmless peening treatment to the environment, health which an influence is rare in toward processing material like heat being only water fundamentally, and economical, and the characteristics is hard to get are given. There is some research about the residual stress improvement by water-jet peening during the high-speed water. In this study, a big bubble cloud ceremony water-jet peening which dissolves the problem of the form of the applicable thing by exposing the whole of the applicable thing in the big bubble cloud as the way of dealing with peening efficiently in a short time is proposed by this research. Moreover, the uniform compression residual stress is added around the surface of the processing side, and connected with the remarkable improvement of the fatigue strength of the part. Furthermore, and safety processing is very possible, and it thinks about the thing which has possible high practical use, and writers to get rid of the problems of the way of processing it with peening until now. Water-jet peening was given by this research during high-speed water with big bubble cloud-type water toward tooth gear manufactured by SCr420H3 V2 to open the effect of water-jet peening during the high-speed water. The interfacial heat transfer coefficient between hot profile surface and cooling water was determined by using inverse heat conduction model combined with end quenching experiment. Then, a Deform-3 D thermo-mechanical coupling model for simulating the on-line water quenching of extruded profile with unequal and large thicknesses was developed. The temperature field, residual stress field and distortion of profile during quenching were investigated systematically. The results show that heat transfer coefficient increases as water flow rate increases. The peak heat transfer coefficient with higher water flow rates appears at lower interface temperatures. The temperature distribution across the cross-section of profile during quenching is severe nonuniform and the maximum temperature difference is 300 ℃ at quenching time of 3.49 s. The temperature difference through the thickness of different parts of profile first increases sharply to a maximum value, and then gradually decreases. The temperature gradient increases obviously with the increase of thickness of parts. After quenching, there exist large residual stresses on the inner side of joints of profile and the two ends of part with thickness of 10 mm. The profile presents a twisting-type distortion across the cross-section under non-uniform cooling and the maximum twisting angle during quenching is 2.78°. 展开更多

Water quenching blast furnace slag (WQBFS) is widely produced in the blast furnace iron making process. It is mainly composed of CoO, MgO, A1203, and SiO2 with low contents of other metal elements such as Fe, Mn, Ti, K and No. In this study, WQBFS was treated with grinding, hydrochloric acid acidification, filtration, filtrate extraction by alkali liquor and a hydration reaction. Then BFS micropowder (BFSMP), BFS acidified solid (BFSAS) and BFS acid-alkali precipitate (BFSAP) were obtained, which were characterized by X-ray diffrac- tion, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray fluorescence and Brunauer-Emmet-Teller (BET) specific surface area. The decoloration efficiency for Methyl Orange (MO) was used to evaluate the adsorptive ability of the three absorbents. The effects of adsorptive reaction conditions (pH and temperature of solution, reaction time, sorbent dosage and initial concentration) on MO removal were also investigated in detail. The results indicated that BFSAP performed better in MO removal than the other two absorbents. When the pH value of MO solutions was in the range 3.0-13.0, the degradation efficiency of a solution with initial MO concentration of 25 mg/L reached 99.97% for a reaction time of 25 rain at 25℃. The maximum adsorption capacity of BFSAP for MO was 167 mg/g. Based on optimized experiments, the results conformed with the Langrnuir adsorption isotherm and pseudo-second-order kinetics. Among inorganic anions, SO2- and PO4- had significant inhibitory effects on MO removal in BFSAP treatment due to ion-exchange adsorption. 展开更多

For plate quenching on a roller quenching machine, heat transfer process is investigated. According to the practical online experiment of plate center temperature, average heat transfer coefficient under different conditions and temperature fields are analyzed by numerical simulation. The results show that, at the water temperature of 15 ℃, the instantaneous maximum quenching cooling rate is 17.6 ℃/s for the plate of 50 mm in thickness in roller quenching process. In the temperature range of 400-850 ℃, the maximum is 12.1 ℃/s. With the plate surface temperature decreasing, surface heat transfer coefficient increases at first, and reaches the maximum value of about 15 000 W/(m^2·K), and then decreases. The calculated heat transfer coefficients are applied to analyze plate temperature field of different thicknesses, and the difference between the calculated and measured temperature is less than 5%. 展开更多

为解决水泥基采空区灌注充填材料成本高、污染大的问题,选取固废水淬渣、粉煤灰为主体材料,以及脱硫石膏、石灰为激发剂制备出水淬渣基灌注充填材料。通过正交试验,系统分析了不同水灰比、水淬渣与粉煤灰质量比、脱硫石膏掺量和石灰掺... 为解决水泥基采空区灌注充填材料成本高、污染大的问题,选取固废水淬渣、粉煤灰为主体材料,以及脱硫石膏、石灰为激发剂制备出水淬渣基灌注充填材料。通过正交试验,系统分析了不同水灰比、水淬渣与粉煤灰质量比、脱硫石膏掺量和石灰掺量对浆液的析水率、结石率、流动度、黏度及结石体单轴抗压强度的影响,通过XRD和SEM测试探究了其微观机理,并进行了现场应用验证。结果表明:随着水淬渣目数增大,浆液结石体抗压强度逐渐增强;水灰比是决定浆液性能的关键因素,水淬渣与粉煤灰质量比对结石体抗压强度影响显著;综合分析得到水淬渣基灌注充填材料最佳配比为水灰比0.6、水淬渣与粉煤灰质量比7∶3、脱硫石膏掺量2%、石灰掺量4%;结石体内部主要矿物成分为石英、方解石和莫来石,且反应过程中生成水化硅酸钙、水化硅铝酸盐凝胶、钙矾石等水化产物。通过工程实践应用反映出,水淬渣基灌注充填材料具备良好的适应性和综合性能,满足相关设计规范要求,具有一定的经济及环境效益。 展开更多

熔融还原过程中水淬残渣物相组成变化规律是钢渣熔融还原基础问题之一。研究了不同CaO掺量对煤矸石中残碳为碳源还原钢渣的还原率、回收率以及残渣的组成和微观结构变化。结果表明:体系碱度系数K为1.33时(外掺10%(质量分数)左右的CaO),... 熔融还原过程中水淬残渣物相组成变化规律是钢渣熔融还原基础问题之一。研究了不同CaO掺量对煤矸石中残碳为碳源还原钢渣的还原率、回收率以及残渣的组成和微观结构变化。结果表明:体系碱度系数K为1.33时(外掺10%(质量分数)左右的CaO),铁的还原率和回收率最高,均可达97%。随着K值增加,还原率和回收率均降低。1500℃熔融还原的残渣,随着K值增加残渣中的β-C_(2)S和C_(3)S等物相含量逐渐增加。在碱度系数大于1.6时体系中出现方镁石,且方镁石主要出现于C_(3)S形成的区域。C_(3)S的大量形成导致基体中Al_(2)O_(3)浓度相对增加,从而形成了C_(3)A。 展开更多

为了解决甲醇制烯烃(MTO)急冷水中高浓度细微催化剂造成生产装置堵塞难题,结合深层过滤与旋流强化脱附技术,开发了沸腾床过滤装置并成功运用于MTO水洗系统。相比于中国科学院大连化学物理研究所开发的MTO(DMTO)装置,中石化(上海)石油化... 为了解决甲醇制烯烃(MTO)急冷水中高浓度细微催化剂造成生产装置堵塞难题,结合深层过滤与旋流强化脱附技术,开发了沸腾床过滤装置并成功运用于MTO水洗系统。相比于中国科学院大连化学物理研究所开发的MTO(DMTO)装置,中石化(上海)石油化工研究院有限公司开发的MTO(SMTO)装置急冷水的悬浮物浓度更高,催化剂粒径更小同时分散性更好,虽不易发生堵塞但分离难度更大。对于DMTO装置急冷水,在进水悬浮物质量浓度为400~800 mg/L时,一级过滤出水降低至16~102 mg/L,二级过滤出水降低至7~16 mg/L。对于SMTO装置急冷水,在进水悬浮物质量浓度为4500~9500 mg/L时,一级过滤出水降低至100~862 mg/L,二级过滤出水降低至13~160 mg/L。沸腾床过滤设备采用外排急冷水进行过滤介质再生,无需额外消耗新鲜水,优异的悬浮物分离效果极大提高了急冷水回用率,降低了换热设备清洗频次和生产运维成本,为MTO工艺的高效运行提供了有力支持。 展开更多
