Objectives:Psychological resilience is a critical resource for vocational high school students navigating social biases and fostering mental well-being.This six-month longitudinal study investigated the developmental ...Objectives:Psychological resilience is a critical resource for vocational high school students navigating social biases and fostering mental well-being.This six-month longitudinal study investigated the developmental trajectories of discrimination perception,vocational identity,and psychological resilience in this population.It further examined the longitudinal mediating role of vocational identity in the relationship between discrimination perception and psychological resilience.Methods:A total of 526 students from five vocational high schools in Guangdong,China,were assessed via convenience sampling at two time points:baseline(T1,September 2023)and six-month follow-up(T2,March 2024).Measures of discrimination perception,psychological resilience,and vocational identity were administered.Data were analyzed using a cross-lagged panel model to test for bidirectional relationships.Results:Over the six-month period,students showed significant decreases in discrimination perception and vocational identity,but a significant increase in psychological resilience.The cross-lagged model revealed significant bidirectional relationships:discrimination perception and psychological resilience negatively predicted each other over time(β=−0.124,p<0.01;β=−0.200,p<0.001),while psychological resilience and vocational identity positively predicted each other(β=0.084,p<0.05;β=0.076,p<0.05).The mediation analysis revealed a dual-pathway mechanism.T1 discrimination perception exerted both a significant direct negative effect on T2 psychological resilience(β=−0.332,p<0.001)and a significant indirect positive effect via T1 vocational identity(indirect effect=0.020,95%CI[0.001,0.046]).This confirms a partial mediating role,indicating that vocational identity functions as a compensatory mechanism,transforming the experience of discrimination perception into a potential source of psychological resilience.Conclusions:For vocational high school students,perception of discrimination directly undermines psychological resilience,but also indirectly fosters it through the positive development of vocational identity.These findings highlight vocational identity as a pivotal mechanism in the complex relationship between social adversity and mental resilience.展开更多

This study focuses on 14 higher vocational colleges in Hainan Province.By collecting data from five dimensions-academic papers,research projects,patents,teacher teaching competitions,and teaching achievement awards-be...This study focuses on 14 higher vocational colleges in Hainan Province.By collecting data from five dimensions-academic papers,research projects,patents,teacher teaching competitions,and teaching achievement awards-between 2020 and 2023,this research analyses the current status of teaching and research at these 14 higher vocational colleges in Hainan.Also evaluated the teaching and research capabilities of these institutions via the entropy value method.The findings reveal that academic papers of high volume and quality are predominantly found in Hainan’s higher vocational colleges designated as“Double High”institutions,which possess distinct professional characteris-tics.With respect to research projects,Hainan’s higher vocational colleges con-duct scientific research grounded in provincial conditions,with a focus on the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port and key local industries.In terms of patents,Hainan’s higher vocational colleges place greater emphasis on the cultivation of utility model patents.With respect to teaching achievement awards,Hainan has a relatively high selection frequency,with a particular focus on participation from department heads and frontline teachers.In teacher teaching competitions,Hainan’s higher vocational colleges utilize their professional characteristics to develop competition projects centered around clusters of majors.On the basis of the results of the data analysis,recommendations are proposed for transforming research paradigms,building high-quality teaching and research teams,establishing a sustainable teaching and research evaluation system,and implementing categorized management for key and general institutions,providing a basis for enhancing teaching and research capabilities at Hainan’s higher vocational colleges.展开更多
This study examines the management of human resource training in vocational colleges under Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Environment,focusing on the transition to smart agriculture.A mixed-methods design was ...This study examines the management of human resource training in vocational colleges under Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Environment,focusing on the transition to smart agriculture.A mixed-methods design was employed,combining policy analysis,surveys at five colleges,and interviews with administrators and lecturers.Findings reveal that while elements of smart agriculture and digital transformation have entered training programs,integration remains fragmented.Curricula emphasize theory over practice,faculty have limited expertise in digital agriculture,and facilities lack modern technology.Weak industry collaboration further widens the gap between training and labor market demands.Using the integrated CIPO-Logic Model,the study identifies misalignments among context,inputs,processes,and outputs that reduce graduate employability and hinder sustainable farming practices.The results highlight the urgent need for comprehensive management reforms that update curricula,enhance faculty capacity,and foster school-industry partnerships.Strengthening these areas will help vocational colleges produce a workforce equipped for digital transformation and support Vietnam’s national agenda for smart,sustainable agriculture.The study provides evidence-based recommendations to guide policymakers,educational leaders,and practitioners in aligning vocational training with future agricultural development needs.展开更多

With the world has become the global village,communication between countries is becoming increasingly common.As an important tool for international communication,English has become increasingly important.However,for s...With the world has become the global village,communication between countries is becoming increasingly common.As an important tool for international communication,English has become increasingly important.However,for students in private vocational colleges,English listening anxiety is a common phenomenon,which not only affects the learning ability of students but also restricts the improvement of their comprehensive English ability.In this study,242 first-year students of a private vocational college in Hainan,were used as the study objects,and the level,causes and influencing factors of their English listening anxiety were deeply analyzed via a questionnaire survey.Strategies to alleviate students’English listening anxiety were discussed from the three aspects of teachers,students and schools.The conclusions of this study have certain theoretical and practical significance for improving the the teaching state for English listening to college students from private higher colleges.Meanwhile,It can also enhancing the learning effect of students to English.The comprehensive use of various strategies can effectively relieve students’English listening anxiety,improve their English listening level and learning enthusiasm,and make great contributions to the future career development for them.However,owing to limitations in terms of research time and conditions,this study has several limitations.Future studies can further expand the research scope,increase the diversity and quantity of research samples,and adopt a combination of multiple research methods to conduct a more in-depth discussion on this issue.展开更多

文摘In the context of the digital transformation of vocational education,a quality evaluation index system has been constructed.Based on a questionnaire survey conducted among higher vocational colleges and enterprises in Hainan Province,it has been found that the quality of vocational education generally depends on the talent training program and professional construction at the macro level.At the meso level,the teacher level and teaching environment are critical,while at the micro level,the evaluation of talent training quality cannot be underestimated.Strategies for quality improvement in vocational education are proposed from the perspectives of talent training programs,major construction,teacher development,teaching environment,and talent training quality,all under the lens of digital transformation.

文摘Public English carries significant moral education responsibilities as a core general education course in vocational schools.By organically integrating English teaching content with moral education,it achieves the unity of knowledge imparting and value guidance.The course should fully leverage its educational function by strengthening humanistic care and psychological counseling,guiding students to develop self-awareness,understand their responsibilities,and establish correct worldviews,outlooks on life,and values,ultimately fostering well-rounded development.

文摘This study focuses on 14 higher vocational colleges in Hainan Province.By collecting data from five dimensions-academic papers,research projects,patents,teacher teaching competitions,and teaching achievement awards-between 2020 and 2023,this research analyses the current status of teaching and research at these 14 higher vocational colleges in Hainan.Also evaluated the teaching and research capabilities of these institutions via the entropy value method.The findings reveal that academic papers of high volume and quality are predominantly found in Hainan’s higher vocational colleges designated as“Double High”institutions,which possess distinct professional characteris-tics.With respect to research projects,Hainan’s higher vocational colleges con-duct scientific research grounded in provincial conditions,with a focus on the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port and key local industries.In terms of patents,Hainan’s higher vocational colleges place greater emphasis on the cultivation of utility model patents.With respect to teaching achievement awards,Hainan has a relatively high selection frequency,with a particular focus on participation from department heads and frontline teachers.In teacher teaching competitions,Hainan’s higher vocational colleges utilize their professional characteristics to develop competition projects centered around clusters of majors.On the basis of the results of the data analysis,recommendations are proposed for transforming research paradigms,building high-quality teaching and research teams,establishing a sustainable teaching and research evaluation system,and implementing categorized management for key and general institutions,providing a basis for enhancing teaching and research capabilities at Hainan’s higher vocational colleges.

文摘This study examines the management of human resource training in vocational colleges under Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Environment,focusing on the transition to smart agriculture.A mixed-methods design was employed,combining policy analysis,surveys at five colleges,and interviews with administrators and lecturers.Findings reveal that while elements of smart agriculture and digital transformation have entered training programs,integration remains fragmented.Curricula emphasize theory over practice,faculty have limited expertise in digital agriculture,and facilities lack modern technology.Weak industry collaboration further widens the gap between training and labor market demands.Using the integrated CIPO-Logic Model,the study identifies misalignments among context,inputs,processes,and outputs that reduce graduate employability and hinder sustainable farming practices.The results highlight the urgent need for comprehensive management reforms that update curricula,enhance faculty capacity,and foster school-industry partnerships.Strengthening these areas will help vocational colleges produce a workforce equipped for digital transformation and support Vietnam’s national agenda for smart,sustainable agriculture.The study provides evidence-based recommendations to guide policymakers,educational leaders,and practitioners in aligning vocational training with future agricultural development needs.
文摘With the transformation of medical models and the advancement of medical technology,the new era has put forward higher requirements for nursing talents.Nursing staff should not only master solid professional skills and knowledge,but also possess innovative thinking and interdisciplinary cooperation capabilities.As an important place for cultivating nursing talents,higher vocational colleges should update the teaching content of experiment and training in a timely manner in combination with the needs of social changes.Based on this,this paper studies the experiment and training teaching of basic nursing in higher vocational nursing majors,analyzes the changes in the demand for nursing talents in the new era,expounds the existing problems in the current teaching,and puts forward corresponding implementation countermeasures,to cultivate high-quality nursing talents meeting the needs of the new era and provide reference for the teaching reform of higher vocational nursing majors.

文摘Against the backdrop of the deep integration of“AI+Education,”this study focuses on the translation teaching of Applied English in higher vocational colleges,aiming to address the practical challenges in current teaching,such as the lag in AI application,the insufficient role transformation of teachers,and the weak digital literacy of students.By constructing an innovative“teacher-student-AI”interactive teaching model and a three-level process-oriented evaluation system,the research explores the practical path of AI-assisted translation teaching in pre-translation,in-translation,and post-translation stages.Through literature research,action research,and case analysis,the study summarizes standardized teaching templates for different professional scenarios and verifies the effectiveness of the teaching model.The results show that this reform can significantly improve students’digital literacy and autonomous learning ability,providing a replicable experience for AI-assisted teaching in higher vocational education and promoting the transformation of translation teaching from“knowledge acquisition”to“competence enhancement.”
文摘With the world has become the global village,communication between countries is becoming increasingly common.As an important tool for international communication,English has become increasingly important.However,for students in private vocational colleges,English listening anxiety is a common phenomenon,which not only affects the learning ability of students but also restricts the improvement of their comprehensive English ability.In this study,242 first-year students of a private vocational college in Hainan,were used as the study objects,and the level,causes and influencing factors of their English listening anxiety were deeply analyzed via a questionnaire survey.Strategies to alleviate students’English listening anxiety were discussed from the three aspects of teachers,students and schools.The conclusions of this study have certain theoretical and practical significance for improving the the teaching state for English listening to college students from private higher colleges.Meanwhile,It can also enhancing the learning effect of students to English.The comprehensive use of various strategies can effectively relieve students’English listening anxiety,improve their English listening level and learning enthusiasm,and make great contributions to the future career development for them.However,owing to limitations in terms of research time and conditions,this study has several limitations.Future studies can further expand the research scope,increase the diversity and quantity of research samples,and adopt a combination of multiple research methods to conduct a more in-depth discussion on this issue.
文摘Against the backdrop of the rapid intelligent development of medical laboratory technology,vocational education is in urgent need of teaching innovation.This paper explores the integration and practice of information-based teaching methods in vocational education of medical laboratory technology,analyzes the current situation of traditional teaching and the demand for informatization,and elaborates on the practical paths from aspects such as resource construction,model innovation,and evaluation reform.Practice has verified that this integration has improved teaching quality and students’skills,but there are problems such as uneven resources and the need to improve teachers’and students’abilities.Countermeasures such as strengthening co-construction and sharing of resources and carrying out special training are proposed to provide reference for the development of professional education.
