The production model of“multi-specification and low-quantity”is becoming the main trend of manufacturing industry.As a key activity in the manufacturing chain,traditional computer aided process planning(CAPP)system fails to adapt to the production model of customization.Therefore,a novel method for variant design of process planning was proposed to develop CAPP system based on Tabular Layouts of Article Characteristics(Sach-Merk Leisten in German and SML for short). With the support of standard database of master process planning documents which are developed by parameterization technique, and instance process planning for special product(instance product)can be generated automatically by the sub-system of variant de- sign of process planning.Finally,a CAPP system was developed for process design of rotor of steam turbine to validate the feasibil- ity and applicability of the method. 展开更多

Based on the 2K-V type of product structure tree, the mapping of the structure tree to the hierarchical skeleton feature tree is completed and the modeling of the~ product's 3D cascade skeleton is built with Pro/E skeleton Technology. The skeleton model is the basis of assembly, then to build the framework of the model's cascade constraints and to realize the whole model driven by the top skeleton parameters. The development of technologies such as big data and cyber-physical systems (CPSs) has increased the demand for product design. Product digital design involves completing the product design process using advanced digital technologies such as geometry modeling, kinematic and dynamic simulation, multi- disciplinary coupling, virtual assembly, virtual reality (VR), multi-objective optimization (MOO), and human-computer interaction. The key technologies of intelligent design for customized products include: a description and analysis of customer requirements (CRs), product family design (PFD) for the customer base, configuration and modular design for customized products, variant design for customized products, and a knowledge push for product intelligent design. The development trends in intelligent design for customized products include big-data-driven intelligent design technology for customized products and customized design tools and applications. The proposed method is verified by the design of precision computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools. 展开更多

The current research of configurable product design mainly focuses on how to convert a predefined set of components into a valid set of product structures. With the scale and complexity of configurable products increasing, the interdependencies between customer demands and product structures grow up as well. The result is that existing product structures fails to satisfy the individual customer requirements and hence product variants are needed. This paper is aimed to build a bridge between customer demands and product structures in order to make demand-driven fast response design feasible. First of all, multi-hierarchical models of configurable product design are established with customer demand model, technical requirement model and product structure model. Then, the transition of multi-hierarchical models among customer demand model, technical requirement model and product structure model is solved with fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) and the algorithm of multi-level matching. Finally, optimal structure according to the customer demands is obtained with the calculation of Euclidean distance and similarity of some cases. In practice, the configuration design of a clamping unit of injection molding machine successfully performs an optimal search strategy for the product variants with reasonable satisfaction to individual customer demands. The proposed method can automatically generate a configuration design with better alternatives for each product structures, and shorten the time of finding the configuration of a product. 展开更多

The foundations of MC production are standardization, seriation and normality of production, guiding thought of Concurrent Engineering (CE), ap plication of CAD/CAM technology and etc. And design methods of MC products are d esign for product family, modular design, parameterization CAD, variant design, design for manufacturing (DFM) and design by customers. Design for product famil y is a method that first to design a basic form of the product, and then to with draw variant parameters to become a variable product model, makes a family or a series of product design at the same time. Modular design is that based on produ ct function analysis of different function or the same function but different sp ecification within a certain scope, divides and designs out a series of function modular, and through selection and combination of the modular can make up diffe rent products. Parameterization CAD is a CAD method that has function of dimensi on drive. Variant design is a method that under circumstance of keeping principl e constant and construction similar or likeness, properly adjusts part of constr uction and design parameters to adapt design demands. DFM demands the designer t o consider problems that will appear in manufacture in the stage of design, and to avoid them through optimal design. And design by customers is guiding custome rs to design within the scope of production capacity of enterprise and optional items that enterprise has designed to satisfy their requirements of form, functi on and price. Among them modular design, parameterization CAD and variant design are key technology of design methods of MC products. Parametric Collaborative Design of Network-based Mechanical Products

Aiming at the problems of low-level information sharing, slow transmission and repetitive work in the designing process of product series, the internet-oriented parametric collaborative design method is proposed, in which the problems of sharing conflict and network heterogeneous in the distributed collaborative design are analyzed, and the construction method of collaborative design platforms based on PDMWorks Workgroup is put forward. Through studying the mechanism of roles distribution and function allocation and data concurrency control, the communication mechanism of internet-oriented collaborative design is formulated. On the basis of structure features of overhead travelling crane, through combining parametric variant design with collaborative design, internet-oriented parametric collaborative design system of overhead travelling crane is developed and verified through main girder design. In the paper, the internet-oriented parametric collaborative design method is proposed, aiming to solve the problems of low-level information sharing, slow transmission and repetitive work in the designing process of product series. The problems of sharing conflict and network heterogeneous in the distributed collaborative design are analyzed. The construction method of collaborative design platforms based on PDMWorks Workgroup is put forward. 为更好地支持产品多样化设计,提出了一种基于功构变换的产品模块可拓变型设计方法。针对产品模块变型设计需求,采用功能-行为-结构的迭代映射方法,建立存在模块的功构分解模型。通过数学模型中功构的可拓变换与分解,建立期望模块的功构... 为更好地支持产品多样化设计,提出了一种基于功构变换的产品模块可拓变型设计方法。针对产品模块变型设计需求,采用功能-行为-结构的迭代映射方法,建立存在模块的功构分解模型。通过数学模型中功构的可拓变换与分解,建立期望模块的功构分解模型,并采用功能流和功能模型IDEF0相结合的功能建模方法,建立期望模块的功能模型;基于功能模型的约束,通过结构单元的删除和聚合,进行模块功构要素可拓变换的传导变换分析,展开期望模块功构综合与结构设计,从而实现模块的变型设计。将该方法应用于堆垛机推拉机构的变型设计,双倍程推拉机构变型为三倍程推拉机构,验证了该方法的可行性和有效性。 展开更多
