To further improve aircraft efficiency under actual flight operations, there is a need to consider multiple flight conditions (multipoint) in aircraft conceptual design and optimization. A new strategy for multipoint optimizations in aircraft conceptual design is proposed in this paper. A wide-body aircraft is taken as an example for both single-point and multipoint optimizations with the objective of maximizing the specific hourly productivity. Boeing 787-8 flight data was used in the multipoint opti- mization to reflect the true objective function. The results show that the optimal design from the multipoint optimization has a 7.72% total specific hourly productivity increase of entire flight missions compared with that of the baseline aircraft, while the increase in the total specific hourly productivity from the single-point optimal design is only 5.73%. The differences between the results of single-point and multipoint optimizations indicate that there is a good option to further improve aircraft efficiency by considering actual flight conditions in aircraft conceptual design and optimization.展开更多

Traditional injection control method such as open-loop calibration causes instability of fuel supply which brings the risk of power loss of UAV. Considering that the closed-loop control of AFR can ensure a stable fuel feeding, this paper proposes an AFR control based fuel supply strategy in order to improve the efficiency of fuel-powered UAV while obtaining the required engine speed. According to the optimum fuel injection results, we implement fuzzy-PID method to control the set AFR in different situations. Through simulation and experiment studies, the results indicate that, to begin with, the calibrated mathematical model of the aircraft engine is effective. Next, this fuel supply strategy based on AFR control can normally realize the engine speed regulation, and the applied control algorithm can eliminate the overshoot of AFR throughout all the working progress. What is more, the fuel supply strategy can averagely shorten the response time of the engine speed by about two seconds. In addition, compared with the open-loop calibration, in this work the power efficiency is improved by 9% to 33%. Last but not the least, the endurance can be improved by 30 min with a normal engine speed. This paper can be a reference for the optimization of UAV aircraft engine.展开更多

文摘Additive manufacturing(AM),particularly fused deposition modeling(FDM),has emerged as a transformative technology in modern manufacturing processes. The dimensional accuracy of FDM-printed parts is crucial for ensuring their functional integrity and performance. To achieve sustainable manufacturing in FDM,it is necessary to optimize the print quality and time efficiency concurrently. However, owing to the complex interactions of printing parameters, achieving a balanced optimization of both remains challenging. This study examines four key factors affecting dimensional accuracy and print time:printing speed, layer thickness, nozzle temperature, and bed temperature.Fifty parameter sets were generated using enhanced Latin hypercube sampling.A whale optimization algorithm(WOA)-enhanced support vector regression(SVR)model was developed to predict dimen-sional errors and print time effectively, with non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅲ(NSGA-Ⅲ)utilized for multi-objective optimization. The technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution(TOPSIS)was applied to select a balanced solution from the Pareto front. In experimental validation, the parts printed using the optimized parameters exhibited excellent dimensional accuracy and printing efficiency. This study comprehensively considered optimizing the printing time and size to meet quality requirements while achieving higher printing efficiency and aiding in the realization of sustainable manufacturing in the field of AM.In addition, the printing of a specific prosthetic component was used as a case study, highlighting the high demands on both dimensional precision and printing efficiency. The optimized process parameters required significantly less printing time, while satisfying the dimensional accuracy requirements. This study provides valuable insights for achieving sustainable AM using FDM.

文摘In this paper,we examine an illegal wireless communication network consisting of an illegal user receiving illegal signals from an illegal station and propose an active reconfigurable intelligent surface(ARIS)-assisted multi-antenna jamming(MAJ)scheme denoted by ARIS-MAJ to interfere with the illegal signal transmission. In order to strike a balance between the jamming performance and the energy consumption,we consider a so-called jamming energy efficiency(JEE)which is defined as the ratio of achievable rate reduced by the jamming system to the corresponding power consumption. We formulate an optimization problem to maximize the JEE for the proposed ARIS-MAJ scheme by jointly optimizing the jammer’s beamforming vector and ARIS’s reflecting coefficients under the constraint that the jamming power received at the illegal user is lower than the illegal user’s detection threshold. To address the non-convex optimization problem,we propose the Dinkelbach-based alternating optimization(AO)algorithm by applying the semidefinite relaxation(SDR)algorithm with Gaussian randomization method.Numerical results validate that the proposed ARIS-MAJ scheme outperforms the passive reconfigurable intelligent surface(PRIS)-assisted multi-antenna jamming(PRIS-MAJ)scheme and the conventional multiantenna jamming scheme without RIS(NRIS-MAJ)in terms of the JEE.
文摘Cloud computing has become an essential technology for the management and processing of large datasets, offering scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance. However, optimizing data replication across multiple data centers poses a significant challenge, especially when balancing opposing goals such as latency, storage costs, energy consumption, and network efficiency. This study introduces a novel Dynamic Optimization Algorithm called Dynamic Multi-Objective Gannet Optimization(DMGO),designed to enhance data replication efficiency in cloud environments.Unlike traditional static replication systems,DMGO adapts dynamically to variations in network conditions, system demand, and resource availability. The approach utilizes multi-objective optimization approaches to efficiently balance data access latency, storage efficiency, and operational costs.DMGO consistently evaluates data center performance and adjusts replication algorithms in real time to guarantee optimal system efficiency.Experimental evaluations conducted in a simulated cloud environment demonstrate that DMGO significantly outperforms conventional static algorithms, achieving faster data access, lower storage overhead, reduced energy consumption, and improved scalability. The proposed methodology offers a robust and adaptable solution for modern cloud systems, ensuring efficient resource consumption while maintaining high performance.

文摘Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs),as a crucial component of the Internet of Things(IoT),are widely used in environmental monitoring, industrial control, and security surveillance. However,WSNs still face challenges such as inaccurate node clustering, low energy efficiency, and shortened network lifespan in practical deployments, which significantly limit their large-scale application. To address these issues, this paper proposes an Adaptive Chaotic Ant Colony Optimization algorithm(AC-ACO),aiming to optimize the energy utilization and system lifespan of WSNs.AC-ACO combines the path-planning capability of Ant Colony Optimization(ACO)with the dynamic characteristics of chaotic mapping and introduces an adaptive mechanism to enhance the algorithm’s flexibility and adaptability.By dynamically adjusting the pheromone evaporation factor and heuristic weights, efficient node clustering is achieved.Additionally,a chaotic mapping initialization strategy is employed to enhance population diversity and avoid premature convergence. To validate the algorithm’s performance, this paper compares AC-ACO with clustering methods such as Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy(LEACH),ACO,Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO),and Genetic Algorithm(GA).Simulation results demonstrate that AC-ACO outperforms the compared algorithms in key metrics such as energy consumption optimization, network lifetime extension, and communication delay reduction, providing an efficient solution for improving energy efficiency and ensuring long-term stable operation of wireless sensor networks.

文摘Increasing attention has been paid to the efficiency improvement of the induction traction system of high-speed trains due to the high demand for energy saving. In emergency self-propelled mode, however, the dc-link voltage and the traction power of the motor are significantly reduced, resulting in decreased traction efficiency due to the low load and low speed operations. Aiming to tackle this problem, a novel efficiency improved control method is introduced to the emergency mode of high-speed train traction system in this paper. In the proposed method, a total loss model of induction motor considering the behaviors of both iron and copper loss is established. An improved iterative algorithm with decreased computational burden is then introduced, resulting in a fast solving of the optimal flux reference for loss minimization at each control period. In addition, considering the parameter variation problem due to the low load and low speed operations, a parameter estimation method is integrated to improve the controller's robustness. The effectiveness of the proposed method on efficiency improvement at low voltage and low load conditions is demonstrated by simulated and experimental results.

文摘This study delves into the intricate relationship between iron(Fe)content in kaolinite and its impact on the adsorption behavior of sodium oleate. The effects of different iron concentrations on adsorption energy, hydrogen bond kinetics and adsorption efficiency were studied through simulation and experimental verification. The results show that the presence of iron in the kaolinite structure significantly improves the adsorption capacity of sodium oleate.Kaolinite samples with high iron content have better adsorption properties, lower adsorption energy levels and shorter and stronger hydrogen bonds than pure kaolinite. The optimal concentration of oleic acid ions for achieving maximum adsorption efficiency was identified as 1.2 mmol/L across different kaolinite samples. At this concentration, the adsorption rates and capacities reach their peak, with Fe-enriched kaolinite samples exhibiting notably higher flotation recovery rates. This optimal concentration represents a balance between sufficient oleic acid ion availability for surface interactions and the prevention of self-aggregation phenomena that could hinder adsorption. This study offers promising avenues for optimizing the flotation process in mineral processing applications.

文摘Aircraft conceptual design optimizations that maximize the performance at a design condition (single-point) may result in designs with unsatisfying off-design performance. The differences between the results of single-point and multipoint optimizations indicate that there is a good option to further improve aircraft efficiency by considering actual flight conditions in aircraft conceptual design and optimization.

文摘Accurate fuel injection control of aircraft engine can optimize the energy efficiency of UAV power system while meeting the propeller speed requirement. This paper can be a reference for the optimization of UAV aircraft engine.
