As the frequency splitting occurs the frequency of the maximum power transfer is no longer with the natural resonance frequency which can make the system unstable and the transfer power more difficult to control. Therefore a decreasing-frequency method is proposed to avoid the system frequency splitting. And decreasing the system resonance frequency can make the system successfully withdraw the frequency splitting area at a short-distance range.Under the fixed load condition the transmission power of the system can be increased by 400% and the transmission efficiency is reduced by only 14% which greatly improves the transmission performance of the system.展开更多

文摘Aiming at the problems of large fluctuation of output active power and poor control performance in the process of frequency support of an energy-storage-type static-var-generator(ESVG),the adaptive adjustment control method for its active-loop parameters is used to realize thewind-farmfrequency support, which has become the current research hotspot.Taking the ESVG with a supercapacitor on the DC side as the research object, the influence trend of the change of virtual rotation inertia and virtual damping coefficient on its virtual angular velocity and power angle is analyzed. Then, the constraint relationship between the equivalent virtual inertia time constant of the supercapacitor and the virtual rotation inertia of the ESVG is clarified. Then, combined with the second-order response characteristics of the ESVG power control loop, the selection principles of the frequency modulation coefficient, the virtual rotation inertia, and the virtual damping coefficient are determined. An ESVG adjustment control method, considering the adaptive adjustment of the active loop parameters of the supercapacitor equivalent inertia,is proposed. While ensuring the frequency support capability of the ESVG,the fluctuation degree of its output active power and the virtual angular velocity are suppressed, and the proposed adjustment method also improves the stability of the ESVG control system and the frequency support capability for the wind farm. Finally, the simulation verifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis and the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.

文摘In high-renewable-energy power systems, the demand for fast-responding capabilities is growing. To address the limitations of conventional closed-loop frequency control, where the integral coefficient cannot dynamically adjust the frequency regulation command based on the state of charge(SoC)of energy storage units, this paper proposes a secondary frequency regulation control strategy based on variable integral coefficients for multiple energy storage units.First,a power-uniform controller is designed to ensure that thermal power units gradually take on more regulation power during the frequency regulation process.Next,a control framework based on variable integral coefficients is proposed within the secondary frequency regulation model, along with an objective function that simultaneously considers both Automatic Generation Control(AGC)command tracking performance and SoC recovery requirements of energy storage units. Finally,a gradient descent optimization method is used to dynamically adjust the gain of the energy storage integral controller, allowingmultiple energy storage units to respond in real-time to AGC instructions and SoC variations.Simulation results confirmthe effectiveness of the proposedmethod.Compared to traditional strategies, the proposed approach takes into account the SoCdiscrepancies amongmultiple energy storage units and the duration of system net power imbalances. It successfully implements secondary frequency regulation while achieving dynamic power allocation among the units.

文摘Offshore wind farms are becoming increasingly distant from onshore centralized control centers, and the communication delays between them inevitably introduce time delays in the measurement signal of the primary frequency control. This causes a deterioration in the performance of the primary frequency control and,in some cases, may even result in frequency instability within the power system. Therefore,a frequency response model that incorporates communication delays was established for power systems that integrate offshore wind power. The Padéapproximation was used to model the time delays, and a linearized frequency response model of the power system was derived to investigate the frequency stability under different time delays. The influences of the wind power proportion and frequency control parameters on the system frequency stability were explored. In addition,a Smith delay compensation control strategy was devised to mitigate the effects of communication delays on the system frequency dynamics. Finally,a power system incorporating offshore wind power was constructed using the MATLAB/Simulink platform. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed delay compensation control strategy.

文摘Finite-control-set model predictive control(FCSMPC)has advantages of multi-objective optimization and easy implementation. To reduce the computational burden and switching frequency, this article proposed a simplified MPC for dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor(DTPPMSM).The novelty of this method is the decomposition of prediction function and the switching optimization algorithm.Based on the decomposition of prediction function, the current increment vector is obtained, which is employed to select the optimal voltage vector and calculate the duty cycle. Then, the computation burden can be reduced and the current tracking performance can be maintained.Additionally, the switching optimization algorithm was proposed to optimize the voltage vector action sequence, which results in lower switching frequency.Hence, this control strategy can not only reduce the computation burden and switching frequency, but also maintain the steady-state and dynamic performance. The simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the feasibility of the proposed strategy.

文摘The application of virtual synchronous generator(VSG)control in flywheel energy storage systems(FESS)is an effective solution for addressing the challenges related to reduced inertia and inadequate power supply in microgrids.Considering the significant variations among individual units within a flywheel array and the poor frequency regulation performance under conventional control approaches, this paper proposes an adaptive VSG control strategy for a flywheel energy storage array(FESA).First,by leveraging the FESA model,a variable acceleration factor is integrated into the speed-balance control strategy to effectively achieve better state of charge(SOC)equalization across units.Furthermore, energy control with a dead zone is introduced to prevent SOC of the FESA from exceeding the limit. The dead zone parameter is designed based on the SOC warning intervals of the flywheel array to mitigate its impact on regular operation. In addition,VSG technology is applied for the grid-connected control of the FESA,and the damping characteristic of the VSG is decoupled from the primary frequency regulation through power differential feedback. This ensures optimal dynamic performance while reducing the need for frequent involvement in frequency regulation.Subsequently,a parameter design method is developed through a small-signal stability analysis.Consequently, considering the SOC of the FESA,an adaptive control strategy for the inertia damping and the P/ωdroop coefficient of the VSG control is proposed to optimize the grid support services of the FESA.Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control methods is demonstrated through electromagnetic transient simulations using MATLAB/Simulink.

文摘To ensure frequency stability in power systems with high wind penetration, the doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG)is often used with the frequency fast response control(FFRC)to participate in frequency response. However,a certain output power suppression amount(OPSA)is generated during frequency support, resulting in the frequency modulation(FM)capability of DFIG not being fully utilised, and the system’s unbalanced power will be increased during speed recovery, resulting in a second frequency drop(SFD)in the system.Firstly, the frequency response characteristics of the power system with DFIG containing FFRC are analysed. Then, based on the analysis of the generation mechanism of OPSA and SFD,a combined wind-storage FM control strategy is proposed to improve the system’s frequency response characteristics. This strategy reduces the effect of OPSA and improves the FM capability of DFIG by designing the fuzzy logic of the coefficients of FFRC according to the system frequency index in the frequency support stage.During the speed recovery stage, the energy storage(ES)active power reference value is calculated according to the change of DFIG rotor speed, and the ES output power is dynamically adjusted to reduce the SFD.Finally, taking the IEEE 39-bus test system as an example,real-time digital simulation verification was conducted based on the RTLAB OP5707 simulation platform. The simulation results showthat theproposedmethodcan improve theFMcapabilityofDFIG,reduce the SFDunder thepremise of guaranteeing the rapid rotor speed recovery, and avoid the overshooting phenomenon so that the systemfrequency can be quickly restored to a stable state.

文摘An alternating current(AC)microgrid is a system that integrates renewable power, power converters, controllers and loads.Hierarchical control can manage the frequency of the microgrid to prevent imbalance and collapse of the system. The existing frequency control methods use traditional proportion integration(PI)controllers, which cannot adjust PI parameters in real-time to respond to the status changes of the system.Hierarchical control driven by fuzzy logic allows real-time adjustment of the PI parameters and the method used a two-layer control structure. The primary control used droop control to adjust power distribution, and fuzzy logic was used in the voltage loop of the primary control. The secondary control was added to make up for frequency deviation caused by droop control, and fuzzy logic was used in the secondary frequency control to deal with the dynamic change of frequency caused by the disturbances of loads. The proposed method was simulated in Matlab/Simulink.In the primary control, the proposed method reduced the total harmonic distortion(THD)of two cycles of the output voltage from 4.19%to 3.89%;in the secondary control, the proposed method reduced the frequency fluctuation of the system by about 0.03 Hz and 0.04 Hz when the load was increased and decreased, respectively. The results show that the proposed methods have a better effect on frequency maintenance and voltage control of the AC microgrid.

文摘In order to solve the multiple power extreme value point problem caused by system frequency splitting during wireless energy transmission at short distances a transmission model of the system is established. With the comprehensive consideration of the resonance frequency load parameters and the coupling between coils the internal factors of frequency splitting and boundary conditions are discussed. The results show that under the condition of the fixed load the higher the natural resonance frequency the easier the frequency splitting. As the frequency splitting occurs the frequency of the maximum power transfer is no longer with the natural resonance frequency which can make the system unstable and the transfer power more difficult to control. Therefore a decreasing-frequency method is proposed to avoid the system frequency splitting. And decreasing the system resonance frequency can make the system successfully withdraw the frequency splitting area at a short-distance range.Under the fixed load condition the transmission power of the system can be increased by 400% and the transmission efficiency is reduced by only 14% which greatly improves the transmission performance of the system.
