Objective:To explore the application value of the modified Peyton’s four-step teaching method in bridge experimental courses for undergraduate medical students.Methods:100 undergraduate medical students from Bethune ...Objective:To explore the application value of the modified Peyton’s four-step teaching method in bridge experimental courses for undergraduate medical students.Methods:100 undergraduate medical students from Bethune Hospital of Shanxi from July 2023 to July 2024 were selected and grouped using a random number method.The control group received a conventional training program,while the observation group received a modified Peyton’s four-step teaching and training program.The DOPS scores and teaching satisfaction scores of the two groups of undergraduate medical students were compared.Results:After intervention,the scores of each dimension of the DOPS for the undergraduate medical students in the observation group were higher than those in the control group.The teaching satisfaction scores of the undergraduate medical students after teaching were lower in the control group than in the observation group.The differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The modified Peyton’s four-step teaching program developed in this study can promote teaching and learning methods for undergraduate medical students,improve teaching satisfaction levels,and help administrators stabilize the medical team.展开更多
Objective:This study aimed to explore undergraduates’knowledge,attitude,and practice/behavior of human papillomavirus(HPV)vaccination,as well as the essential influencing factors for vaccination decision-making.Metho...Objective:This study aimed to explore undergraduates’knowledge,attitude,and practice/behavior of human papillomavirus(HPV)vaccination,as well as the essential influencing factors for vaccination decision-making.Methods:Through cluster and convenience sampling,2000 undergraduates from the Nursing and Language department of a university in Shanghai were sent a self-designed questionnaire.Chi-square tests,independent sample t-test/ANOVE,and multiple linear regression were used to investigate participants’knowledge and attitude on HPV vaccination,as well as the factors that predicted potential action to receive and promote HPV vaccination in the future.Results:The mean HPV knowledge score was 5.027 out of 10.Health science students showed a significantly higher knowledge mean score than the non-health science students(P<0.000).There was a statistically difference in HPV vaccination attitude among undergraduates in different grades(P<0.05).Awareness of cervical cancer and worries about the risk of cervical cancer were the significant predictors of willingness to receive and promote HPV vaccination in the future.Conclusions:It would take time for a new health product to be aware,understood,accepted,and received.Education providing and information sharing are expected to break the dawn and make the procedure processed.展开更多

Objective:To analyze the correlation between perceived stress,job burnout,and subjective well-being among undergraduate nursing interns.Methods:A total of 260 clinical nursing interns who interned in tertiary hospital...Objective:To analyze the correlation between perceived stress,job burnout,and subjective well-being among undergraduate nursing interns.Methods:A total of 260 clinical nursing interns who interned in tertiary hospitals from July 2024 to April 2025 were selected as the survey subjects.They were administered the Chinese version of the Perceived Stress Scale(CPSS),the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey(MBI-HSS),and the General Well-being Schedule(GWB)to evaluate the correlation between perceived stress,job burnout,and subjective well-being.Results:The subjective well-being scores of those with higher perceived stress were lower than those with moderate stress;individuals with severe job burnout had lower subjective well-being compared to those without job burnout or with mild to moderate job burnout levels(p<0.05).Correlation analysis revealed that the subjective well-being of undergraduate nursing interns was negatively correlated with perceived stress and job burnout(p<0.05).Conclusion:Undergraduate nursing interns experience significant perceived stress and a strong sense of job burnout.Their subjective well-being is correlated with their perceived stress and job burnout.It is necessary to optimize the clinical teaching model and provide psychological skills training to alleviate the interns’perceived stress and job burnout,thereby significantly enhancing their subjective well-being.展开更多
Objective:To investigate the preference characteristics and relative importance of each core factor in the teaching program for undergraduate nursing students during clinical practice,and to provide empirical support ...Objective:To investigate the preference characteristics and relative importance of each core factor in the teaching program for undergraduate nursing students during clinical practice,and to provide empirical support for the creation of a student-centered,formalized clinical teaching system that meets the actual needs of nursing students.Methods:The quantitative research method of discrete choice experiment was adopted,and the questionnaire was designed based on the random utility theory.Through a systematic literature review,semi-structured interviews,and two rounds of Delphi expert consultations,six core attributes of the instructor,namely educational qualifications,teaching methods,frequency of individualized guidance,operational practice opportunities,feedback timeliness,and instructor title,and their corresponding levels were determined.The study period was from January 2024 to January 2025,and 158 undergraduate nursing students who chose to intern at Deyang People’s Hospital were selected as the research subjects.A survey tool with 12 choice sets was created using Ngene software,and then statistical analysis was performed on the obtained data using the conditional Logit model to measure the impact of each attribute on the choice behavior of nursing students.Results:The results showed that the conditional Logit model fitted well(likelihood ratio chi-square=85.32,p<0.001).The analysis results indicated that the most important teaching attributes for undergraduate nursing students were,in order:the academic qualifications of the teaching instructor(master vs.Junior college,β=0.42,p<0.01),individualized guidance frequency(daily vs.Weekly,β=0.38,p<0.01),operational practice opportunities(more vs.less,β=0.31,p<0.05),and the timeliness of feedback(timely versus delayed,β=0.29,p<0.05).The influence of the title of the instructor was not statistically significant(p>0.05).Conclusion:Undergraduate nursing students show a clear and systematic preference structure for clinical teaching,with a high expectation of frequent personalized guidance from highly educated teachers,as well as sufficient operational opportunities and timely teaching feedback.展开更多
Objective:To explore the application effect of Problem-Based Learning(PBL)teaching method based on situational simulation videos in undergraduate teaching of internal medicine,and to provide practical basis for optimi...Objective:To explore the application effect of Problem-Based Learning(PBL)teaching method based on situational simulation videos in undergraduate teaching of internal medicine,and to provide practical basis for optimizing the undergraduate teaching mode of internal medicine and improving teaching quality.Methods:A total of 32 undergraduate students majoring in clinical medicine(Grade 2021)from Shanghai University of Medicine&Health Sciences were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into an experimental group and a control group by random number table method,with 16 students in each group.The control group adopted the traditional PBL teaching method,while the experimental group used the PBL teaching method based on situational simulation videos.After the teaching,the mastery of theoretical knowledge of students in the two groups was evaluated by examinations;a questionnaire survey was conducted to assess students’self-perceived improvement in clinical thinking,learning interest,self-directed learning ability and teamwork ability;statistical methods were used to analyze the data.Results:The scores of theoretical knowledge examination of students in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).In terms of self-evaluation,the experimental group showed better performance than the control group in the cultivation of clinical thinking,learning interest and selfdirected learning ability,with statistically significant differences(p<0.05);however,there was no statistically significant difference in the self-evaluation of teamwork ability between the two groups(p>0.05).Conclusion:The PBL teaching method based on situational simulation videos can effectively improve students’level of theoretical knowledge,enhance their clinical thinking,learning interest and self-directed learning ability in undergraduate teaching of internal medicine,and is worthy of further promotion and application in undergraduate teaching of internal medicine.展开更多

Methods: Using the methodological framework of Arksey and O’Malley’s scoping review, six literature databases were searched, including CNKI, Wanfang, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, PudMed, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect. Studies on the factors influencing undergraduate nursing students’ PSC from database inception to July 31, 2023, were reviewed and data extracted. Results: A total of 1,955 articles were retrieved, and 27 studies were included. The current status of PSC primarily focuses on self-perception. Factors influencing undergraduate nursing students’ PSC are mainly individual and demographic, while external factors include various teaching methods and environments. PSC impacts professional maturity, mental health, self-concept, and pre-internship stress among nursing students. Conclusion: PSC profoundly influences undergraduate nursing students’ future career choices and professional development. Nursing educators and administrators should adopt measures to enhance and improve PSC levels, thereby fostering a larger pool of nursing professionals.展开更多

[Objectives]To explore the correlation between the clinical internship environment and professional identity of undergraduate student nurses on clinical internship.[Methods]From September 8,2023 to January 8,2024,a qu...[Objectives]To explore the correlation between the clinical internship environment and professional identity of undergraduate student nurses on clinical internship.[Methods]From September 8,2023 to January 8,2024,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 315 undergraduate student nurses on clinical internship from 3 comprehensive third-grade class A hospitals in the region.The survey tools included General Information Questionnaire,Student Nurse Professional Identity Questionnaire,and Clinical Internship Environment Evaluation Scale.[Results]The total score of professional identity of the undergraduate student nurses on clinical internship was(59.55±12.78)points,and the total score of clinical internship environment was(129.31±16.02)points,both at medium to high levels.There was a significant positive correlation between clinical internship environment and professional identity(r=0.547,P<0.001).[Conclusions]The clinical internship environment is closely related to the professional identity of undergraduate student nurses on clinical internship.It is necessary to optimize the internship environment in a targeted manner to enhance the professional identity of student nurses,thereby stabilizing the nursing talent team.展开更多

文摘Objective:To investigate the preference characteristics and relative importance of each core factor in the teaching program for undergraduate nursing students during clinical practice,and to provide empirical support for the creation of a student-centered,formalized clinical teaching system that meets the actual needs of nursing students.Methods:The quantitative research method of discrete choice experiment was adopted,and the questionnaire was designed based on the random utility theory.Through a systematic literature review,semi-structured interviews,and two rounds of Delphi expert consultations,six core attributes of the instructor,namely educational qualifications,teaching methods,frequency of individualized guidance,operational practice opportunities,feedback timeliness,and instructor title,and their corresponding levels were determined.The study period was from January 2024 to January 2025,and 158 undergraduate nursing students who chose to intern at Deyang People’s Hospital were selected as the research subjects.A survey tool with 12 choice sets was created using Ngene software,and then statistical analysis was performed on the obtained data using the conditional Logit model to measure the impact of each attribute on the choice behavior of nursing students.Results:The results showed that the conditional Logit model fitted well(likelihood ratio chi-square=85.32,p<0.001).The analysis results indicated that the most important teaching attributes for undergraduate nursing students were,in order:the academic qualifications of the teaching instructor(master vs.Junior college,β=0.42,p<0.01),individualized guidance frequency(daily vs.Weekly,β=0.38,p<0.01),operational practice opportunities(more vs.less,β=0.31,p<0.05),and the timeliness of feedback(timely versus delayed,β=0.29,p<0.05).The influence of the title of the instructor was not statistically significant(p>0.05).Conclusion:Undergraduate nursing students show a clear and systematic preference structure for clinical teaching,with a high expectation of frequent personalized guidance from highly educated teachers,as well as sufficient operational opportunities and timely teaching feedback.

文摘Objective:To explore the application effect of Problem-Based Learning(PBL)teaching method based on situational simulation videos in undergraduate teaching of internal medicine,and to provide practical basis for optimizing the undergraduate teaching mode of internal medicine and improving teaching quality.Methods:A total of 32 undergraduate students majoring in clinical medicine(Grade 2021)from Shanghai University of Medicine&Health Sciences were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into an experimental group and a control group by random number table method,with 16 students in each group.The control group adopted the traditional PBL teaching method,while the experimental group used the PBL teaching method based on situational simulation videos.After the teaching,the mastery of theoretical knowledge of students in the two groups was evaluated by examinations;a questionnaire survey was conducted to assess students’self-perceived improvement in clinical thinking,learning interest,self-directed learning ability and teamwork ability;statistical methods were used to analyze the data.Results:The scores of theoretical knowledge examination of students in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).In terms of self-evaluation,the experimental group showed better performance than the control group in the cultivation of clinical thinking,learning interest and selfdirected learning ability,with statistically significant differences(p<0.05);however,there was no statistically significant difference in the self-evaluation of teamwork ability between the two groups(p>0.05).Conclusion:The PBL teaching method based on situational simulation videos can effectively improve students’level of theoretical knowledge,enhance their clinical thinking,learning interest and self-directed learning ability in undergraduate teaching of internal medicine,and is worthy of further promotion and application in undergraduate teaching of internal medicine.

文摘Vocational undergraduate education has entered a new stage of high-quality development,making the cultivation of students'learning ability a core issue in enhancing talent cultivation quality.This study conducted a questionnaire survey with 177 students majoring in integrated circuits at Shenzhen Polytechnic University(SZPU),focusing on six dimensions:self-learning proficiency,academic competence,goal planning,self-discipline,learning initiative,and learning environment.The results indicate that while students possess a solid learning foundation and clear career planning,significant deficiencies exist in the execution of academic plans,self-discipline,and learning initiative.In response to these issues,this study proposes four systematic improvement pathways from the institutional perspective:establishing a closed-loop academic navigation system incorporating“goal-process-feedback”,creating an immersive“virtual-physical integrated”learning environment,implementing a multi-dimensional“cognitive-affective-practical”initiative activation plan,and building a synergistic cultivation mechanism for“self-discipline and core competencies”.The findings aim to provide references for talent cultivation and teaching reform in vocational undergraduate integrated circuit programs.

文摘Objective: To conduct a scoping review of research on the professional self-concept (PSC) of undergraduate nursing students, comprehensively analyzing its status, influencing factors, and significance, and providing a reference for enhancing the PSC of undergraduate nursing students in China. Methods: Using the methodological framework of Arksey and O’Malley’s scoping review, six literature databases were searched, including CNKI, Wanfang, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, PudMed, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect. Studies on the factors influencing undergraduate nursing students’ PSC from database inception to July 31, 2023, were reviewed and data extracted. Results: A total of 1,955 articles were retrieved, and 27 studies were included. The current status of PSC primarily focuses on self-perception. Factors influencing undergraduate nursing students’ PSC are mainly individual and demographic, while external factors include various teaching methods and environments. PSC impacts professional maturity, mental health, self-concept, and pre-internship stress among nursing students. Conclusion: PSC profoundly influences undergraduate nursing students’ future career choices and professional development. Nursing educators and administrators should adopt measures to enhance and improve PSC levels, thereby fostering a larger pool of nursing professionals.

文摘Against the backdrop of employment pressure,pursuing graduate studies has become a crucial pathway for undergraduate students to enhance employment competitiveness and alleviate employment challenges.However,the recent downward trend in graduate school applicants has rendered the improvement of undergraduates’willingness to pursue advanced degrees an urgent practical issue.This study employs a questionnaire survey method to empirically investigate the influencing factors of undergraduates’intention to pursue graduate studies.The findings reveal that at the individual level,preparation difficulty,preparation pressure,clarity of goals,and academic planning significantly affect students’willingness to pursue graduate studies.At the family level,preparation costs and family atmosphere exert substantial influence on this decision-making process.Accordingly,this paper proposes enhancement strategies from both individual and family perspectives to improve enrollment rates.Students should establish clear academic objectives and strengthen psychological adjustment,while families ought to provide robust financial support and foster harmonious environments.These recommendations aim to effectively boost undergraduates’motivation for graduate education.

文摘[Objectives]To explore the correlation between the clinical internship environment and professional identity of undergraduate student nurses on clinical internship.[Methods]From September 8,2023 to January 8,2024,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 315 undergraduate student nurses on clinical internship from 3 comprehensive third-grade class A hospitals in the region.The survey tools included General Information Questionnaire,Student Nurse Professional Identity Questionnaire,and Clinical Internship Environment Evaluation Scale.[Results]The total score of professional identity of the undergraduate student nurses on clinical internship was(59.55±12.78)points,and the total score of clinical internship environment was(129.31±16.02)points,both at medium to high levels.There was a significant positive correlation between clinical internship environment and professional identity(r=0.547,P<0.001).[Conclusions]The clinical internship environment is closely related to the professional identity of undergraduate student nurses on clinical internship.It is necessary to optimize the internship environment in a targeted manner to enhance the professional identity of student nurses,thereby stabilizing the nursing talent team.

In this study, questionnaires surveying English learners' use of metacognitive writing strategies and their writing efficacy were respectively administered. Metacognitive writing strategy intervention was conducted The findings are further discussed with regard to the participants' specific learning context, and pedagogical implications derived from the research highlight the importance of integrating metacognitive writing strategy instruction into regular classroom teaching.
