However, the received digital signal after trans- mission through a TSV channel, composed of redistribution layers (RDLs), TSVs, and bumps, is degraded at a high data-rate due to the non-idealities of the channel. Firstly, by introducing a finite time integral sliding mode manifold, a novel guidance law based on the integral sliding mode control is presented with the target acceler- ation as a known bounded external disturbance. Then, an improved adaptive guidance law based on the integral sliding mode control without the information of the upper bound on the target accel- eration is developed, where the upper bound of the target acceleration is estimated online by a designed adaptive law. The both presented guidance laws can make sure that the elevation angular rate of the line-of-sight and the azimuth angular rate of the line-of-sight converge to zero in finite time. In the end, the results of the guidance performance for the proposed guidance laws are pre- sented by numerical simulations. Three-dimensional surface models of the jawbones, based on the computed tomography data, were used to create the integral videography images of a subject's maxillofacial area. The three-dimensional augmented reality system (integral videography display, computed tomography, a position tracker and a computer) was used to generate a three-dimensional overlay that was projected on the surgical site via a half-silvered mirror. Thereafter, a feasibility study was performed on a volunteer. The accuracy of this system was verified on a solid model while simulating bone resection. Positional registration was attained by identifying and tracking the patient/surgical instrument's position. Thus, integral videography images of jawbones, teeth and the surgical tool were superimposed in the correct position. Stereoscopic images viewed from various angles were accurately displayed. Change in the viewing angle did not negatively affect the surgeon's ability to simultaneously observe the three-dimensional images and the patient, without special glasses. The difference in three-dimensional position of each measuring point on the solid model and augmented reality navigation was almost negligible (〈1 mm); this indicates that the system was highly accurate. This augmented reality system was highly accurate and effective for surgical navigation and for overlaying a three-dimensional computed tomography image on a patient's surgical area, enabling the surgeon to understand the positional relationship between the preoperative image and the actual surgical site, with the naked eye.展开更多

The elemental image array is captured through the micro lens array. Due to the front diffuse transmission element, each micro lens sees a slightly different spatial perspective of the scene, and a different independent image is formed in each micro lens channel. Each micro lens channel is imaged by a Fourier lens and captured by a CCD. The design translating the stage in x or y provides no parallax. Compared with the conventional integral imaging of micro-objects, the optical magnification of micro-objects in the proposed system can enhanced remarkably. The principle of the enhancement of the image depth is explained in detail and the experimental results are presented.展开更多

Based on the assumption of potential flow, high-order curved elements were used to discretize the boundary integral equation and solve it. Assuming that gas inside the bubble follows the isentropic rule, the Euler-Lagrange method was used to trace the evolution of the bubble, and when calculating the singular integral, the singularity of the double-layer singular integral was eliminated by reconstructing a principal-value integral of double-layer potential so that a more precise result could be obtained. Elastic mesh technique (EMT) was also used when tracing the evolution of the bubble interface, and numerical smoothing wasn't needed. A comparison of calculations using this three-dimensional model with results of the Reyleigh-Plesset bubble model shows that the three-dimensional model and calculation method in this paper is practical. This three-dimensional model was applied to simulate the interaction of two bubbles under the action of gravity, and the dynamic characteristics of two bubbles near the surface was also analyzed. Bubbles influenced by surface effects and gravity present severe non-linearity. This paper provides a reference for research into the dynamics of multi-bubbles.展开更多

Through redoing the same experiment of rolling pure lead as Sims, the calculated results by the above expression were compared with those of Kobayashi and Sims formulae. 文摘We report an integral imaging method with continuous imaging space. This method simultaneously reconstructs real and virtual images in the virtual mode, with a minimum gap that separates the entire imaging space into real and virtual space. Experimental results show that the gap is reduced to 45% of that in a conventional integral imaging system with the same parameters.

文摘Damage indices are effective in quantifying structural seismic damage.Numerous response-based damage indices have been developed and validated through the hysteretic response of various experimental specimens. However, the accuracy of these indices for evaluating damage of RC columns is challenged by fluctuating axial load and irregular horizontal loading paths from 3-D earthquake excitations. This study introduces D_(iem),a material-based damage model for RC columns under random bidirectional loads and variable axial forces.Section damage indices of the plastic hinge are calculated by integrating the damage indices of concrete and steel fiber elements, considering their distance to the centroid axis. The P-Δeffect index is defined, and the component failure index is calculated using a combination of these indices.A hysteretic simulation and D_(iem)damage analysis program for cantilever RC columns is developed using Fortran.Three RC columns tested under bidirectional hysteretic loading are simulated to calibrate the program.Parameter analysis of 1,638 RC columns is conducted to verify D_(iem)’s applicability. The results demonstrated that D_(iem)’s failure assessment aligns with the 80%residual criterion.D_(iem)analysis of a real seismic damaged RC column shows satisfactory agreement with post-earthquake damage assessment and illustrates significant damage differences between columns with and without axial load fluctuation.

文摘To improve heat-transfer performance, a novel integral three-dimensional fin-structure on the plat surface was presented to increase the evaporation efficiency. The three-dimensional fin-structure is composed of a spiral micro-groove and multi radial micro-grooves. Both ploughing-extrusion(P-E) and stamping were used to form the integral-fins with a connection between radial and circumferential directions. Based on the SEM results, the relationships among P-E speed v P-E, rotational speed np and feed fp, and among interference length Li, stamping feed angle θc and stamping depth ac were analyzed. The effects of processing parameters on the groove morphology and the matching relationship between parameters were also discussed. The integral finned surface with micro-grooves and cracks can be obtained under such processing conditions: P-E depth ap=0.3 mm, ac=0.3 mm, the interval of helical groove dp=1.24 mm, θc=2° and np=50 r/min.

文摘A high optical magnification three-dimensional imaging system is proposed using an optic microscope whose ocular (eyepiece) is retained and the structure of the transmission mode is not destroyed. The principle of the enhancement of the image depth is explained in detail and the experimental results are presented.

文摘The behavior of pesticide in soil is influenced by dissolved organic matter(DOM)through competition adsorption, adsorption, solubilization, accelerated degradation, and so on.Thus DOM and its components play an important role in the environmental risk in the soil ecosystem and groundwater environment.Currently, most studies focused on the short-term effect of high concentration of DOM on the pesticide residues. However, soil DOM is mainly at low level. Therefore, there is of some practical significance to probe into the environmental behavior of soil pesticides under natural level of DOM.Thus a site investigation was conducted in the farmland with long-term application history of pesticide.By using the three dimensional excitation-emission fluorescence matrix(3D-EEM)technology,together with the fluorescence regional integration(FRI)quantitative method, the long-term effects of pesticide residues under low concentration of natural DOM were analyzed. Results showed that:(1)The long-term effects of the natural DOM components on the environment behavior of most soil organo-chlorine pesticides were not significant except for a few pesticides such asγ-HCH,p,p'-DDE,etc.(2)The influencing effects of DOM components on different type of pesticides were varied.Among which, the content of tyrosine component showed a significantly negative correlation(p〈0.05)with the concentration ofγ-HCH and p,p'-DDE.There were significant positive correlations(p〈0.05)between the by-products of microbial degradation in DOM components and the concentration of heptachlor. There were also a significant positive correlation(p〈0.05)between the content of active humus component of humic acid in the DOM and the concentration of heptachlor epoxide. These results suggested that the distribution of different types of pesticides residue in the soil was influenced by different components at different levels of significance.(3)The humification degree of soil organic matter showed minor effect of DOM on the pesticide residues in the soil.In this study,3D-EEM and FRI technology were firstly coupled in use for studying the influence of different components of DOM in soil on the environmental behavior of pesticides, which provides a new idea for the research on the mechanism of pesticides transportation and transformation in soil and groundwater environment.
文摘The interaction of two underwater explosion bubbles was mathematically analyzed in this paper. This paper provides a reference for research into the dynamics of multi-bubbles.

文摘Using the twin shear stress yield criterion, the surface integral of the co-line vectors, and the integration depending on upper limit, Kobayashi's three-dimensional velocity field of rolling was analyzed and an analytical expression of rolling torque and single force was obtained. Through redoing the same experiment of rolling pure lead as Sims, the calculated results by the above expression were compared with those of Kobayashi and Sims formulae. The results show that the twin shear stress yield criterion is available for rolling analysis and the calculated results by the new formula are a little higher than those by Kobayashi and Sims ones if the reduction ratio is less than 30%.

文摘Carbon dioxide(CO2),the main gas emitted from fossil burning,is the primary contributor to global warming.Circulating fluidized bed reactor(CFBR)is proved as an energy-efficient method for post-combustion CO2 capture. The numerical simulation by computational fluid dynamics(CFD)is believed as a promising tool to study CO2 adsorption process in CFBR.Although three-dimensional(3D)simulations were proved to have better predicting performance with the experimental results,two-dimensional(2D)simulations have been widely reported for qualitative and quantitative studies on gas-solid behavior in CFBR for its higher computational efficiency recently. However, the discrepancies between 2D and 3D simulations have rarely been evaluated by detailed study.Considering that the differences between the 2D and 3D simulations will vary substantially with the changes of independent operating conditions,it is beneficial to lower computational costs to clarify the effects of dimensionality on the numerical CO2 adsorption runs under various operating conditions. In this work, the comparative analysis for CO2 adsorption in 2D and 3D simulations was conducted to enlighten the effects of dimensionality on the hydrodynamics and reaction behaviors,in which the separation rate, species distribution and hydrodynamic characteristics were comparatively studied for both model frames. With both accuracy and computational costs considered, the viable suggestions were provided in selecting appropriate model frame for the studies on optimization of operating conditions, which directly affect the capture and energy efficiencies of cyclic CO2 capture process in CFBR.
文摘Particulate-reinforced metal matrix composites(PRMMCs)are difficult to machine due to the inclusion of hard, brittle reinforcing particles.Existing experimental investigations rarely reveal the complex material removal mechanisms(MRMs)involved in the machining of PRMMCs.This paper develops a three-dimensional(3D)microstructure-based model for investigating the MRM and surface integrity of machined PRMMCs.To accurately mimic the actual microstructure of a PRMMC,polyhedrons were randomly distributed inside the matrix to represent irregular SiC particles.Particle fracture and matrix deformation and failure were taken into account. For the model’s capability comparison,a two-dimensional(2D)analysis was also conducted.Relevant cutting experiments showed that the established 3D model accurately predicted the material removal, chip morphology, machined surface finish, and cutting forces. It was found that the matrix-particle-tool interactions led to particle fractures, mainly in the primary shear and secondary deformation zones along the cutting path and beneath the machined surface.Particle fracture and dilodegment greatly influences the quality of a machined surface. It was also found that although a 2D model can reflect certain material removal features, its ability to predict microstructural variation is limited.

文摘Based on a stochastic wire length distributed model, the interconnect distribution of a three-dimensional integrated circuit (3D IC) is predicted exactly. Using the results of this model, a global interconnect design window for a giga-scale system-on-chip (SOC) is established by evaluating the constraints of 1) wiring resource, 2) wiring bandwidth, and 3) wiring noise. In comparison to a two-dimensional integrated circuit (2D IC) in a 130-nm and 45-nm technology node, the design window expands for a 3D IC to improve the design reliability and system performance, further supporting 3D IC application in future integrated circuit design.
