With the rise of new business forms,the traditional industrial-era model of binding social insurance to labor relations is facing unprecedented challenges.In the context of these new business forms,whether the protect...With the rise of new business forms,the traditional industrial-era model of binding social insurance to labor relations is facing unprecedented challenges.In the context of these new business forms,whether the protection of workers’social insurance rights and interests can be“decoupled from labor relations”has become a hotly debated topic in academia,with“the ability to establish labor relations”emerging as a key variable influencing government departments’policy choices on classified social insurance coverage.Based on this,the paper constructs a theoretical model of the correlation between social insurance and labor relations to analyze cases concerning the protection of social insurance rights and interests of workers in new business forms.It examines the advantages and disadvantages of binding social insurance to labor relations and suggests promoting social insurance policy innovation by transcending labor relations.The paper advocates abandoning the path dependency that starts with labor relations and clarifying the theoretical basis that workers’access to social insurance rights should be based on labor rather than employment.To adapt to the profit model of new business forms,it proposes establishing a rule of“proportional responsibility for commissions,”where the social insurance contribution base is determined by the proportion and amount of corporate commissions.By reasonably setting rates,it will protect the healthy development of new business forms in a balanced manner.In this way,enterprises can share social insurance responsibilities according to unified rules without worrying about being classified as having a labor relationship,which helps fully protect workers’social insurance rights and interests and promotes fair competition and healthy development among enterprises.展开更多

We chose a definition of heatwaves (HWs) that has ~4-year recurrence frequency at world hot spots. We first examined the 1940-2022 HWs climatology and trends in lifespan, severity, spatial extent, and recurrence frequ...We chose a definition of heatwaves (HWs) that has ~4-year recurrence frequency at world hot spots. We first examined the 1940-2022 HWs climatology and trends in lifespan, severity, spatial extent, and recurrence frequency. HWs are becoming more frequent and more severe for extratropical mid- and low-latitudes. To euphemize HWs, we here propose a novel clean energy-tapping concept that utilizes the available nano-technology, micro-meteorology knowledge of temperature distribution within/without buildings, and radiative properties of earth atmosphere. The key points for a practical electricity generation scheme from HWs are defogging, insulation, and minimizing the absorption of infrared downward radiation at the cold legs of the thermoelectric generators. One sample realization is presented which, through relay with existing photovoltaic devices, provides all-day electricity supply sufficient for providing air conditioning requirement for a residence (~2000-watt throughput). The provision of power to air conditioning systems, usually imposes a significant stress on traditional city power grids during heatwaves.展开更多

While being in a human dynamic and rhythmic interaction, nursing encounters are dyadic relationships illuminated as patterns of an interconnected relationship moving between the nurse and the nursed, and reflecting person-and-otherness events. The purpose of this paper is to describe the theory of Encountering Nursing in a Nurse-Nursed Dyadic Relationship (ThENNDyR) and to illuminate the four nursing practice processes on which the theory is founded: <em>Knowing as appreciating relational moments</em>;<em>Reflecting as engaging moments</em>;<em>Realizing as patterns of living moments</em>;and <em>Transcending as celebrating moments</em>. Nursing practice occurs in moments in which dyadic relationships transpire as nursing encounters. As fleeting as moments are, the four processes of nursing simultaneously take place as understanding conditions that the <em>who</em> and <em>what</em> of the person warrants persons. “Encountering nursing” is a momentary co-existence of persons in a person-and-otherness situation communicating connectedness-interconnectedness in distinct patterning. METHODS: Systematic reviews of all studies have been conducted to evaluate the effect of different types of gastric ele...AIM: To evaluate the current state-of-the-art of gastric electrical stimulation to treat obesity. METHODS: Systematic reviews of all studies have been conducted to evaluate the effect of different types of gastric electrical stimulation(GES) on obesity.RESULTS: Thirty-one studies consisting of a total of 33 different trials were included in the systematic review for data analysis. Weight loss was achieved in most studies, especially during the first 12 mo, but only very few studies had a follow-up period longer than 1 year. Among those that had a longer follow-up period, many were from the Transcend(Implantable Gastric Stimulation) device group and maintained significant weight loss. Other significant results included changes in appetite/satiety, gastric emptying rate, blood pressure and neurohormone levels or biochemical markers such as ghrelin or HbA1 c respectively. CONCLUSION: GES holds great promises to be an effective obesity treatment. However, stronger evidence is required through more studies with a standardized way of carrying out trials and reporting outcomes, to determine the long-term effect of GES on obesity.展开更多
