BACKGROUND The early acquisition of skills required to perform hemostasis during endoscopy may be hindered by the lack of tools that allow assessments of the operator’s viewpoint.Understanding the operator’s viewpoi...BACKGROUND The early acquisition of skills required to perform hemostasis during endoscopy may be hindered by the lack of tools that allow assessments of the operator’s viewpoint.Understanding the operator’s viewpoint may facilitate the skills.AIM To evaluate the effects of a training system using operator gaze patterns during gastric endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)on hemostasis.METHODS An eye-tracking system was developed to record the operator’s viewpoints during gastric ESD,displaying the viewpoint as a circle.In phase 1,videos of three trainees’viewpoints were recorded.After reviewing these,trainees were recorded again in phase 2.The videos from both phases were retrospectively reviewed,and short clips were created to evaluate the hemostasis skills.Outcome measures included the time to recognize the bleeding point,the time to complete hemostasis,and the number of coagulation attempts.RESULTS Eight cases treated with ESD were reviewed,and 10 video clips of hemostasis were created.The time required to recognize the bleeding point during phase 2 was significantly shorter than that during phase 1(8.3±4.1 seconds vs 23.1±19.2 seconds;P=0.049).The time required to complete hemostasis during phase 1 and that during phase 2 were not significantly different(15.4±6.8 seconds vs 31.9±21.7 seconds;P=0.056).Significantly fewer coagulation attempts were performed during phase 2(1.8±0.7 vs 3.2±1.0;P=0.004).CONCLUSION Short-term training did not reduce hemostasis completion time but significantly improved bleeding point recognition and reduced coagulation attempts.Learning from the operator’s viewpoint can facilitate acquiring hemostasis skills during ESD.展开更多
[Objective] This study was conducted to evaluate three training systems for Korla fragrant pear trees by comparing the characteristic parameters of light response curve and CO2 response curve, and to provide some theo...[Objective] This study was conducted to evaluate three training systems for Korla fragrant pear trees by comparing the characteristic parameters of light response curve and CO2 response curve, and to provide some theoretical basis for improving the pruning techniques of Korla fragrant pear trees. [Method] The light response curve and CO2 response curve of the trees trained to three systems were measured by LI-6400 portable photosynthesis system. The SPAD value was measured using SPAD-502 chlorophyll meter, and specific leaf weight was calculated, to evaluate the effects of the three training systems. [Result] The CO2 response curves of the three training systems were basically in agreement with their light response curves, but there were some differences in their characteristic parameters. Among the three training systems, the maximum net photosynthetic rate, apparent quantum yield and light compensation point of espalier trained trees were the highest, while their light saturation point was the lowest. The CO2 saturation point of delayed-open central leader trained trees and open center trained trees were 1 752 and 1 665 μmol/mol, both of which were much higher than that of espalier trained trees. In addition, the carboxylation efficiency and photorespiration rate of espalier trained trees were both higher than those of delayed-open central leader trained trees and open center trained trees, while the CO2 compensation point of espalier trained trees was the lowest. The leaf SPAD value of espalier trained trees was the largest, followed by that of open center trained trees, and the leaf SPAD value of delayed-open central leader trained trees was the smallest. In addition, the leaf area and specific leaf weight of espalier trained trees were both the highest, followed by those of open center trained trees. [Conclusion] Among the training systems for Korla fragrant pear trees, the espalier training system had better ability to capture light, higher photosynthetic productivity and strongest adaptability to light environment, and open center training system takes the second place. On the contrary, delayed-open central leader training system has the weakest adaptability to light environment, but it can adapt to a higher CO2 concentration. In summary, for the training of Korla fragrant pear trees, espalier training system, which has the highest theoretical yield, is the best among the three training systems, and delayed-open central leader training system is the worst.展开更多
Objective:A computer-based STS(simulative training system) in providing pre-hospital trauma care at a disaster site was applied to teaching nursing students in the Second Military Medical University,China.This article...Objective:A computer-based STS(simulative training system) in providing pre-hospital trauma care at a disaster site was applied to teaching nursing students in the Second Military Medical University,China.This article reports on the teaching effectiveness of this system.Methods:Among 92 participants,46 were in the study group and 46 were in the 'control' group. Each student completed a multiple-choice quiz after completing 18 hours(six three-hour sessions) of the study module,and a score was recorded.The simulative training module was completed only by the study group;the 'control' group was assigned in-class discussions for the same amount of time covering the same content as the study group.The final course scores,which included both comprehensive and group task-based tests were compared between these two groups.The study used a descriptive and comparative approach for quantitative data analysis.Tests of independency between the multiple choice scores and the simulation scores were also performed.Finally,anonymous surveys were conducted.Results:The study group performed better than the 'control' group with a significantly higher average score for the group scenario task-based test score,and consequently the study group's final course score was significantly higher than the 'control' group.As per chi-square tests,no significant associations were found between the multiple choice scores and the simulated training scores.The final surveys showed students overwhelmingly agreed that STS training improved their knowledge and skills,their ability to recognize a potential critical event, and their initial response for trauma care at pre-hospital settings.The survey responses of the study group were noteworthy as they indicated that students recognized the importance of simulative training,appreciated the realism of the simulation,and were able to fight/adjust to the stressful feelings in order to focus on the task.Conclusion:Computer-based STS may be an effective teaching model to help students improve their capability in providing pre-hospital trauma care,and in their effectiveness in disaster response.展开更多

The developed model integrates the real-time process dynamic simulation with 3DCFD accident simulation in a designed interface using object linking and embedding technology so that it can convey to trainees the online information of the accident which is not available in existing operator training systems.The model encompasses the whole process of data transfer till the end of the training at which a trainee operates an emergency shutdown system in a programmed model. In this work, an overall scenario is simulated which is from an abnormal increase in the main valve discharge(second)pressure due to valve malfunction to accidental gas release through the crack of a pressure recorder, and the magnitude of the accident with respect to the lead time of each trainee's emergency response is analyzed. The model can improve the effectiveness of the operator training system through interactively linking the trainee actions with the simulation model resulting in different accident scenarios with respect to each trainee's competence when facing an accident.展开更多

In this paper, an optical motion capture system based on the virtual reality technology is proposed to meet the requirements of the power enterprise for the qualified business ability. Electric power equipment, power equipment model entitative operating environment and the human model are established by electric power simulation unit, ZigBee technology and OpenGL graphics library. The problem of missing feature points is solved by applying the human model driven algorithm and the Kalman filtering algorithm. The experimental results show that it is more accurate to use Kalman filtering algorithm to extract the feature point in tracking process of actual motion capture and real-time animation display. The average absolute error of 3D coordinates is 1.61 mm and the average relative error is 2.23%. The system can improve trainees’ sense of experience and immersion.展开更多

Through the statist...Virtual reality(VR) training technology in the mining industry is a new field of research and utilization.The successful application of VR training system is critical to mine safety and production. Through the statistics of the current research and applications of VR training systems in mining industry, all the input/output devices are classified. Based on the classifications of the input/output devices that are used in the VR system, the current VR training systems for the mining industry could be divided into three types: screen-based general type, projector-based customized type, and head-mounted display(HMD)-based intuitive type. By employing a VR headset, a smartphone and a leap motion device, an HMDbased intuitive type VR training system prototype for drilling in underground mines has been developed.Ten trainees tried both the HMD-based intuitive system and the screen-based general control system to compare the experiences and training effects. The results show that the HMD-based system can give a much better user experience and is easy to use. Three of the five components of a VR training system,namely, the user, the tasks, and software and database should be given more attention in future research.With more available technologies of input and output devices, VR engines, and system software, the VR training system will eventually yield much better training results, and will play a more important role in as a training tool for mine safety.展开更多

In this work, an overall scenario is simulated which is from an abnormal increase in the main valve discharge(second)pressure due to valve malfunction to accidental gas release through the crack of a pressure recorder, and the magnitude of the accident with respect to the lead time of each trainee's emergency response is analyzed. The model can improve the effectiveness of the operator training system through interactively linking the trainee actions with the simulation model resulting in different accident scenarios with respect to each trainee's competence when facing an accident.

文摘Compared to traditional welding methods, the underwater wet welding is special with many different characteristics due to the unique aqueous environment. It is conducted completely under water by divers and unique welding technology is required in the special operation environment. The operating levels of the divers are the key factor to acquire high quality welded joints. In this paper, an underwater wet welding experimental and divers training system is developed to serve divers training and conducting welding experiments. The system consists of life support system, signals real-time monitoring system and communicating system, etc. An underwater butt welding experiment based on welding electrodes is conducted, and the system works well. It proves that the system can guarantee divers welding safely and successfully and high quality weld seam is expected to be acquired.

文摘This paper described an improved underwater confrontation simulation method of naval amphibious operational training system. The initial position of submarine forces on the enemy is generated automatically, and the attacking distance model of torpedoes is established based on the kinematics theory, which is more flexible and reasonable to judge the launch condition compared to traditional method. The two kinds of confrontation behavior models on the enemy submarine are created to depict its tactical action from the defensive to the offensive as well as the contrary, ensuring that operational style is simulated more comprehensively and properly. The existing motion trajectory estimation and collision detection algorithms on operational platforms are also improved to reduce the iteration error and further enhance the detection accuracy of target hit.
文摘With the rapid development of computer technology,network and information technology have been widely used in people’s daily lives,which has brought great convenience to labor and life.At the same time,people are increasingly dependent on computer technology.In this case,the social demand for computer professionals is increasing.However,due to the rapid changes and continuous updates of computer technology,the training of talents in computer specialty in China is far from meeting the demand and quality requirements of the society for this kind of talents.Colleges and universities are the important departments that cultivate computer professionals and technicians for the society.When cultivating talents in computer specialty,colleges and universities must conform to the requirements of the development of the times,adjust teaching strategies in a timely manner according to the actual needs of the society,build a talent training system,build a practical training teaching system of computer specialty,innovate teaching modes and teaching contents,and improve students’professional skills through perfect practical teaching,so as to ensure that they can skillfully apply computer technology to solve practical problems in the learning process and further improve their employment competitiveness.Therefore,this paper analyzes the practical teaching system of computer specialty,puts forward corresponding solutions to the existing problems,constructs a multi-collaborative practical training system,and implements the system.The implementation results show that the system can better meet the needs of students at different levels,and the results are fairer.Students’recognition and sense of acquisition of courses have also been greatly improved.The accumulated experience and data also provide good support for our continuous improvement of the system in the future.

文摘The safety production is critical to stable development of Chinese electric power industry. With the development of electric power enterprises, the requirements of its employees are also becoming higher and higher. In this paper, an optical motion capture system based on the virtual reality technology is proposed to meet the requirements of the power enterprise for the qualified business ability. Electric power equipment, power equipment model entitative operating environment and the human model are established by electric power simulation unit, ZigBee technology and OpenGL graphics library. The problem of missing feature points is solved by applying the human model driven algorithm and the Kalman filtering algorithm. The experimental results show that it is more accurate to use Kalman filtering algorithm to extract the feature point in tracking process of actual motion capture and real-time animation display. The average absolute error of 3D coordinates is 1.61 mm and the average relative error is 2.23%. The system can improve trainees’ sense of experience and immersion.

It proposed a mathematical model describing the management processes of heating power units of the technological complex considering the relationship of technological variables in deviations effective in real time. A software complex is developed for the system of training of operators controlling processes in heating station units. Obtained results may be used in the course of development of computer training systems for operators of heating power stations with cross-linkage.

文摘Virtual reality(VR) training technology in the mining industry is a new field of research and utilization.The successful application of VR training system is critical to mine safety and production. Through the statistics of the current research and applications of VR training systems in mining industry, all the input/output devices are classified. Based on the classifications of the input/output devices that are used in the VR system, the current VR training systems for the mining industry could be divided into three types: screen-based general type, projector-based customized type, and head-mounted display(HMD)-based intuitive type. By employing a VR headset, a smartphone and a leap motion device, an HMDbased intuitive type VR training system prototype for drilling in underground mines has been developed.Ten trainees tried both the HMD-based intuitive system and the screen-based general control system to compare the experiences and training effects. The results show that the HMD-based system can give a much better user experience and is easy to use. Three of the five components of a VR training system,namely, the user, the tasks, and software and database should be given more attention in future research.With more available technologies of input and output devices, VR engines, and system software, the VR training system will eventually yield much better training results, and will play a more important role in as a training tool for mine safety.
